To clarify, Dante knows Arthur from freelance work Dante did for the old king. As a travelling Mercenary, Dante met Eliza and Sigurd many years prior. So far, those are the only people he knew before, but given his backstory, I can work others in if you feel left out!

Can someone give me a quick summary of what's going on right now? I want to find a good moment to jump in.

Well, Raven as you might've known is revealed to be the old ead of the royal guard, framed for murder. There is ten a rooftop battle scene where Sigurd reveals himself to be the murderer of Arthurs wife and child. Just before Arthur is about to kill Sigurd hes knocked out by Dante. Then him, Arthur, Kelda and Silas jump to the next roof to avoid the pursuing guards since they have interacted with the so call 'Traitor' @Lorkhan
