Realistic or Modern Imperfects

Rix perked up, his ears going straight up. He had heard someone crying. He gave Angel a final comforting lick before slipping out the bars and flying down the hall to where Pinuh and blades were. He chirped in worry and flew up to Pinuh's shoulder, pressing his nose against her neck, crooning, draining away all the pain. He purred and began to lick the blood off of her neck, gently.

Pinuh whimpered, but relaxed as the pain was taken away. She calmed down and pet Rix with the hand that wasn't holding Blade, thankful for him numbing her pain. "Thanks Rix." She whispered to the dragon. Pinuh felt calm with him on her shoulder, even if she couldn't see him.

Analice heard the commotion and came out peeling latex gloves off her hands to find out the details. "What's going on out here?" She asked and saw Pinah bleeding and without her glasses. She calmly walked over to the girl and inspected the damage, ignoring both blade and shadow at the moment. "Hmm...doesn't seem like anything is permanently damaged. I wonder.... come with me Pinah." Sh instructed as she gently led the girl back to Angel's cell an had her sit down next to the broken and resting girl. She smacked the sleeping girl's face lightly to wake her and scouled at her. You know what you need to do. Do it and I'll let you see that new doctor that transferred here to hel you." She was so coldand dark to Angel but the young girl didn't have energy enough to fear here. She saw the injured girl and slowly rose jer hand and held her palm to the girl' wounds and it began to glow and the wounds healed and sealed up as the small glass pieces just fell out. When Pinah was healed Angel let her hand fall to her side. Her hand looked like it was rotting even though it was still alive. the skin had turned purple and had soars that wept white disgusting smelling fluids. aparently it qas a side effect of her science-given ability.

Pinuh cried out as Angel touched her face, but calmed as her eyes and cuts healed. Her pain subsided, and the world returned to normal, if blurry with her lack of glasses. "Thank you!" She breathed thankfully. Pinuh calmed down, then straightened. She couldn't show her weakness to Analice. "I'm sorry for causing you trouble, madam!" Pinuh apologized to her boss. "I'll make sure it doesn't happen again!"

Analice smiled as the young scientist was alright again, "It's alright Pinuh, accedents happen and it was nothing we couldn't fix." She said smiling to the young girl and offered her hand up so they could leave the cell together and leave Angel alone and in pain again.

Sebastian is running fast, not bothering to stop too check if that girl he bumped, no actually he intentionally hit her, was okay. He felt like a jerk for doing that, but he knows he can't trust anyone, except for that girl with a dragon. "Why did she do that?" He thought to himself. He heard growling and the sound of something chasing him. He turned around and he saw a wolf running after him. Using his powers, he created an ice wall to cut the wolf off, and it worked. The wall was probably a feet thick. Not stopping to gloat at the wolf, he continued to run.

Sebastian didn't get much farther before his whole body stopped moving as if frozen in time. There was a little boy standing in his path. He looked to be no more that 10 years old wearing a patiant gown. He had light blond hair, pale skin, and two different colored eyes, one violet and one blue. He just stood there without any real emotion on his face. He was one of the scientists pets! He just prefured to stay in human form since it was dissarming for the most part but he also often to the form of a spider or a bluejay to get around. This boy seemed to have complete controle over Senastian's body now and made him take down the wall.

Shadow growled at the wall, a bit surprised that it fell so quickly. Then the reason was clear as one of the other pets was there as well. Her mistress (Blade) had told her not to fight those, so instead she turned her gaze onto the prey she had been chasing. Sitting back, she let out a howl so her mistress knew that she had succeeded.


Blade heard the howl and started moving right away. She had to take her mind off the fact that Analice had been right there and she couldn't even move. She wanted to kill her! But not in front of the child and not while Shadow was still in danger. Shaking her head, she tried not to think of that as she ran down the halls.

Pinuh stood up next to Analice and followed her out. She heard the shouts down the hall and glanced in that direction. "Did they catch him?" She asked curiously.

Before Blade could leave Analice couldn't help but smirk as she spoke to the guard scientist, "You needn't worry too much longer Blade. Soon I'll have the formula complete and I'll make sure your daughter is changed back to the way she once was. But, don't mistake this for kindness. It is simply a strategy. Don't forget what this fecility is trying to acomplish." She knew that Blade hated her for what she had done to her child but it was nothing that couldn't be reversed but with a limited amount of knoledge if the proper sequence Blade had no hope of doing it on her own. "Don't forget what I am capable of and don't underestimate what I know." She made that last warning before she let Blade leave the room, "Don't worry Pinuh, the pets we keep here are very diligent and keep order when we can't. Hear that howl? Shadow has caught him already. You needn' worry anymore today. Why don't you go rest for now?" She suggested and pat the young girl on the shoulder.

"What about my chores?" Pinuh asked, her eyes shifting to her boss. "I still have duties to attend to. I'd hate to force them on anyone else..."

Rix jumped off of Pinuh's shoulder, growling lowly at analice, just under the human frequency so she couldnt hear him. He jumped back to Angel and sat down on her bed, where his mistress had left him. He was smart enough to know that if Analice found out he could take away pain, she would begin to experiment on HIM imstead of the others. He wanted to help the patients, and he would do that till he died if he could. Just not in front of Analice. When she left, he crooned and purred, sliding his head under her hand. As soon as he touched her, he began to drain away all of the pain, licking Angel's injured hand like he was the medicine that could heal her.

Analice smirked at the little dragon and knew that not many people besides Pinuh liked her at all because of her obsession with advancement even at the cost of human lives. "Alright. Just don't push yourself okay Pinuh? We don't want any more accidents today." She said with an almost warm smile but that's impossible coming from her.


Angel gave a very weak smile to the little dragon as he helped to take away the pain in her hand but tried to stop him from licking the wounds, "Thank you little one, but don't lick it, you may get sick and then where would we be? Hm?" she said still giving that weak smile as she layed there compleatly imobile. "It's alright. I'll be okay." she reassured the little dragon by her hand.

Pinuh nodded, and went into the lab. She planned to make new glasses for herself out of glass and wire. Perhaps she could make them better this time, not so vulnerable to falls. But for now, she had chores to do. She had been asked earlier that morning to clean the devices in the labs and see that they worked properly.

Rix whined and stopped licking angel's hand. Istead he crawled up to her lap and sat there, his big, blue eyes staring at the girl's neck. He sneezed, rubbing his paw on his nose like dogs sometimes do, his little tail twitching. He walked up to angel's stomach, turning in a circle and placinghis little head close to her bellybutton, he closed his eyes and purred.

Blade eventually found Shadow, the experiment, and another pet. Giving the pet a nod, she ordered him to release the experiment from his powers. Grabbing a hold of his wrist before he could move, Blade snarled at him. "I am beyond angry now. Don't test my patience and you won't get hurt." And with that she began dragging him to his cell, Shadow following close by, ready to attack in case of another escape attempt.

Angel couldn't help but smile and lightly chuckle at the little creature that was trying to look out for her well-being. When Rix sneezed and rubbed his nose she couldn't help but laugh a little. It was so cute, she couldn't help it. She smiled when he laid on her tummy with his head on her bellybutton. "You're such a strange little thing, but comforting. Thank you little one." She said before her eyes closed so she could rest.

Rix stayed by her side until he was sure she was sleeping, Then he began to silently creep out of the cell. After he slipped through the bars, he scampered up the wall as Blade dragged Sebastian to his cell. The little lizard growled imperceptibly and glared at Shadow. He would have to "talk" To his mistress about helping to find a cure for Blade's daughter. He knew that the only reason she was cross and brutal was that she lost her daughter to analice. He waited on the Ceiling for when blade left.


Jess excused herself from Quinten's room and walked to her own testing lab. She had secretly been working on a project, a project ever since Pinuh had come. She had cleared this project with Analice before starting, asking her that when Pinuh was ready for a promotion, she would be able to give the girl a special present. She walked over to a row of cages where she kept her bats, lizards, and birds. She walked past each bat row, past her favorites, the flying fox and the white puffball bat (Seriously it's a thing.) to the very Last cage. "Hello there." She whispered. a low growl emitted from the creature's throat. "Now, Now. It's ok, It's me." The growling immediately stopped and she smiled. Two yellow eyes glowed at her in the dark of the cage, the way the creature preferred. It began to purr, the way Rix did, but it sounded more... Feminine.
