Immortal Sins [Inactive]

Nate grimaced, looking at Nefertiti. "I know who held his head under the water. It was a shame, he was too beautiful for his own good. Right, Esmeralda?" he asked rhetorically. He then stepped away from her, muttering something about one of the best kisses from that guy. He picked up an orange bag, with a cheetah printed on the front, and opened it. "Always providing food, my dear Pride. What would we do without you?" he asked.

(Ohhh my god! Clay Akien)

"Wasn't present for that either." Token grumbled, "Man, did my invitation get lost in the mail or something?"

Emma laughed. "I almost missed that one." she said before looking at Token. "I'm not sure what happened though....They were inviting a lot of us..." she mumbled.

"I think you were at preschool," Nefertiti laughed. She loved that kid, even though she was pretty snarky. "I was just there because some Nymph and I made a bet about who could get him to kiss them first. She just had to make a big deal out of something that never even happened," she said with a sigh, grumbling about how it was such a waste of time. "But he was nice to look at," she said with a shrug. "Hey, Token, how are you doing over there, pumpkin?" she asked somewhat sarcastically. It was nice to be with her own again.

"Oh, you know, suffering eternal torture. Pretty much the same as every other day." Token grinned, "You still throwing those wild parties, Nef? I got to say, the last one of yours I went to, in 1923 I believe, was actually rather fun. The fact I was arrested was the only off-putting thing about it."

"You tried to bet against Harding for the presidency. And when he declined, you kicked him in the Nether-nether!" Nate laughed. It was good to laugh for once.

Emma chuckled. "I think I was drunk at that party....All I know is I kept drinking. So much hunger." she smirked lightly.

Nefertiti laughed. "Every weekend, same old mansion in New York, and just as lavish. And I told you to stay in my room and act like a sick child. No cop will arrest a child, with enough of the green stuff of course," she added with a wink. "Nate, that was priceless. And Emma, the you know alcohol always flows freely. Oh, and I just got fountains of wine. It's glorious," she laughed.

Emma laughed. "I need to keep drinking at your parties, otherwise I might go insane with hunger, if you get what I mean." she grinned. "I might come to your next party. Depends on how I feel." she said before looking over at Token. "How's your leg feeling so far?" she asked.

"Better." Token shrugs, before glaring at the Doctor when the brave man manages to mutter something along the lines of "You might need crutches for a while."

"Well that's good." Emma stated. "Means we can leave soon." she sighed, stretching her arms out.

The woman sighed as she walked down the hospital hallways, stepping over the corpses strewn about as if they didn't exist and following the voices from a room up ahead. There were small splatters of blood on her clothing and face from an earlier battle, and each step made the keys hung on her waist jangle slightly. Upon reaching the room, she stepped in and leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed."Well, well. It's been a while," Nikola said, a slight smirk curling her lips.

Nefertiti turned to the newcomer and rose to her feet, crossing her lithe arms across her chest. "Indeed it has, Nikola," she said. She had never really cared for the indifferent woman, but she didn't really dislike her either. "Did you see those monsters on your way in? Or did you just follow Token's cries of pain?' she said with a small laugh.

Nikola remained lounged against the doorframe, swinging the key ring lazily. "I followed that ghastly trail of gore that someone-" here she shot a sharp look at Nate "-did a very thorough job of creating. Though why you would trouble to break into a hospital and cause this mess for a little girl when it could end poorly for you is beyond me."

"Wow. Rude." Token replied to Nikola with a look of disdain, her face upturned in a haughty manner as she snatched the crutches away from the trembling doctor, "It's because I'm a very special and charismatic little girl, for your information. But I do have to agree with you, Nate's a bloodthirsty idiot who's gonna get us all killed by Ira. We should leave before the police-" She was cut off by the sound of many sirens drawing closer to the building,

Emma rolled her eyes, annoyed. "Great." she muttered. "Immature children the lot of you." she groaned before standing up. "Token, how are you feeling?" she asked. "We're going to need to make a break for it. And when I say that, I mean quietly." she said, shooting a look at everyone.

"We can have someone carry the crutches and I can carry you again if need be." Emma stated with a shrug. "We shouldn't make a lot of noise."

"Heating ducts." Token pointed up at the ceiling, "They lead to the custodians office. I know that he has a back entrance for when they get bulk shipments of things."

Emma nodded. "Alright, that should work..." she muttered, looking up at the ceiling.

Nikola smirked condescendingly at Token, then rolled her eyes at the following conversation. "You all seem to have forgotten something," she said in a bored tone, tossing her keys into the air and catching them again. "Normally, I wouldn't bother saving your skins, but it appears there is trouble brewing, and Ira can't be defeated by one person. So, I'll get us out. Now, if one of you would mind mentioning where we plan on going....." She let her voice fade away, looking between them all blandly.

"Shut up Nikola, oh my god, everybody hates you." Token growled, but not before briskly telling Emma that yes, of course it would work. It was her idea, after all.

"Where have you been for the past 50 years, anyway? It seems kind of fishy you show up now."

"I'll help everyone get into the ducts. Emma!" he called out to the only level headed one among them. "Make sure everyone gets out safely. I can't ensure everyone's safety, so I entrust that to you." He then turned to the younger ones. "Stop bickering and start moving. If we stop now, we all die." He packed a new magazine in each of his guns, incase it was needed to incapacitate someone. "Nefertiti. Make sure they get someplace where there is food and water. And do not draw attention to yourself. We need to lay low until we can plan our next move. Is everyone clear?" he asked, sounding and feeling like his former self again.
