Pyro was about say something when he started thinking. Okay let figure out how I got to this point... getting mocked by a dirty monkey... Me and crew came to this planet for  a vacation... The natives sent a distress signal  for help... Then I decide to have a tournament to crush the hope of the natives and give my men some entertainment... Then Idiot sent invites  to other planets for the tournament... Threw him out a window... Then a bunch of moron bounty hunter and rift raft came and joined the tournament, Including a fox and these sayains... But we did make a killing on selling tickets and merchandising for this tournament ... So in the end I don't need this tournament do I... I could just kill the sayains  and have men get supply... And blow this joint semi-literally... You know I like that idea... Pyro thought to himself.

Pyro then coughed before saying "Men this tournament has turned in a unwanted direction. But you know what? We are pirates and you know what pirates do when they have something unwanted?". The pirates in the audience looked at each other and knew were this was going, vacation was over and it was time to get back to work.

"WE GET RID OF IT!!!" The pirates yelled and cheered.

"Yep, so raid the planet for anything we need and what you want. Tomorrow we'll ship off. Now if excuse me, I'm going to give the remain contestants what they came for." Pyro said before aiming his palm at Era. "Black Death Cannon!" Pyro said firing a large beam at Era.

Elprede tensed when Era continued despite his warning, letting out a low growl because of his vexation. There wasn't any point in trying to stir up trouble with him now, especially if he decided to go straight to his final form and start a bloodbath. He himself could only fight a Frost Demon but so far before he simply had to get out of there before he actually was harmed, the Saiyans wouldn't stand a chance, all of them were too weak to face a Frost Demon head on, no matter how good they were currently. He could hardly even battle one besides just dodging their attacks until they grew too tired to continue.

"Sir, outside communications have been lost." Jasmine cut in suddenly, her voice turning hard. Elprede's eyes widened.

"What?" He said out lououtkeeping his eyes on the Frost Demon warily. "Retry, if you can't get a signal put out an emergency signal to the nearest Nephelem base."

"I am unable to reconnect to anything outside the planet. Emergency signals have been sent."

Elprede would have responded if he hadn't felt the sudden Ki surge from Pyro. Immediately, he grabbed Era around the waist and shot away from where they were before and up into the stands. Moving at such high speed would have been extremely jarring to her, however, his Ki at least protected her from damage. He shielded his eyes from the explosion resulting, glaring at Pyro and giving him a thumbs down.

The Black Death Cannon missed by a long shot, heavily outran by Elprede's ungodly speed and reaction time.

"Nice one, blockhead." He said, sticking his tongue out at the Frost Demon. "But we got bigger problems. All transmissions out of the planet are being blocked by something, even my own. Considering how much more advanced my technology is compared to yours, they may or may not be worth noting." He glanced up towards the sky. His eyes narrowed; he knew something was there. But what? "I got the feeling we're about to have a bigger problem on our hands then petty squabbles."

He turned to Era, his voice dropping. "Yo, if things get out of hand, we'll have to work together here. And honestly, fighting it out with the moron over there isnt very appealing," he said matter-of-factly. "We can deal with him if it's really needed but something is up. JJ just told me she's lost all connections outside the planet. Somebody is blocking 'em, and to do that you need something as advanced as the Tuffles or us. Be on guard."

Era observed Pyro's reaction and nearly burst out laughing had it not been for his final statement to turn on the planet. That just pissed her off. The coward chose the easy way out, and tried to blast her for good measure. Era had been ready for such an attack, but she was suddenly jerked off her feet and the next thing she knew she was in the stands with Elprede who was saying something about all outgoing communications being cut off from the planet.

That shouldn't have happened.

Era tried her Scouter, and sure enough she received an error message when trying to contact the Outpost.

"... Well that's not good," she said quietly.

Valkyrie was instantly by Era's side, Bertholdt having chosen to try and help evacuate the crowd of natives while fighting off and killing some of the pirates.

"Val, did you hear what Elprede said?"

"Of course I did. But that's not my concern right now you moron!" Valkyrie said punching Era across the jaw sending her sprawling to the ground and into a small pile of the chairs used as stadium seating.

"You couldn't just leave it alone, could you? You had to go and antagonize him like that, and now look what it's done!!" She yelled, gesturing to the chaos around them.

Era rubbed her jaw and got to her feet.

"You're not getting out of this one Era. When we get home you're going straight to the Disciplinary Sector! Do you understand me?!" She growled.

Valkyrie and Era were good friends, but Era was also Valkyrie's subordinate due to her being a Low Class Saiyan versus Valkyrie who was an Elite.

Era silently nodded her head, moving her jaw back and forth to stretch it out. Meanwhile, Valkyrie got on her Scouter and tested the lack of communication. When she found it to be a real and credible threat, she heaved a forceful sigh.

No sooner had she done that than the incoming fleet appeared in the sky. Their ships were like miniature planets unto themselves due to how massive they were. Just one ship was practically the size of Earth's moon, and there were four of them in view right now and who knew how many others still beyond their range of sight. Era and Valkyrie's Scouters both began reading power levels, and then shattered on their faces falling to the ground in thousands of pieces of smoking electronics.

"What the HELL was that?!" Valkyrie exclaimed.

The Saiyans couldn't sense power levels (yet), so they had no idea just what kinds of monstrosities were now approaching the planet. Seven power levels from the incoming vessels had powers exceeding 10 million, and a further five power levels exceeded 7 million for twelve monstrosities in total. The rest were all below 1 million, but higher than 500,000.

This was an unsurvivable scenario, and deep down both Era and Valkyrie could sense that much instinctively. Both were shaking and frozen in place. They couldn't sense power levels, but their bodies were receptive to the sheer magnitude of the aura being emanated by these horrifically powerful beings which were rapidly descending towards the planet's surface and turning the world dark in the shadow of their vessels.

Bertholdt seemed to have sensed it as well, as he raced over to the girls and Elprede.

"We need to evacuate, NOW!" He ordered.

He was the supervising officer of their trio, so both were under his command. They nodded and as Valkyrie and Bertholdt began to take off towards their ships, Era stayed behind a moment.

"Get out of here Elprede. We can rendezvous at the Outpost. It'll take us about four hours to get back, so head straight to the Command Center and don't stop for anyone. If they try to stop you, just show them this." She said, handing him a piece of her broken Scouter.

The Scouters the Saiyan's possessed were capable of reading power levels up to 2 million and were made of a nigh indestructible metal courtesy of the Tuffles. Anything which had the potential to overload and destroy it was NOT to be ignored.

"Hurry Elprede! Find Base Commander Korvaiis and warn him immediately of what happened here!" She called as she took off to follow Valkyrie and Bertholdt.

She looked over her shoulder as the first beings descended from the vessels, and she was shocked to see that one of them had a Saiyan tail. Her mouth hung open and she slowed to a halt as she saw yet more of them appearing. She was fairly far away so she couldn't make it out perfectly, but she could swear there were at least three Nephelem and maybe even another Frost Demon among them as well.

This planet was dead no matter what they did. Even Pyro would be forced to flee these beings. His final form was powerful, yes, but he could not take on all of these creatures by himself.

The more powerful beings slowly floated down to the surface and landed in formation, taking in their surroundings and observing what had happened.

The Saiyan seemed to be the one at the forefront, and as he surveyed the area his eyes met Era's. For a brief moment, there was a connection made. They recognized each other as Saiyans, and for a brief instant it looked like there was an instant of exchanged respect. But any sense of that was wiped away by the smile he gave her after a few seconds. That smile sent a frigid chill like none she'd ever felt before down her spine, and she turned and raced away as fast as she could.

That smile didn't come from a Saiyan... That smile came from a monster.

Pyro then started laughing at the saiyans running away until the announcer tapped his shoulder. "um sir we may want leave... NOW" The announcer said pointing at the huge ships.

"Why would we do..." Pyro said before turning around and looked at the ships. He tried using his scouter but it broke instantly. Then he took a deep breath before shouting "KAI F****** DAMMIT! WE ARE JUST TRYING TO HAVE A F****** VACATION AND TOURNAMENT BUT THE DIRTY MONKEYS STARTED RUINING IT AND NOW THERE GIANT F******* SHIPS WITH... FIGHTERS ALMOST AS STRONG AS MY FINAL FORM... COME THE HELL ON!!!". The outrage could be heard miles around. Then Pyro calmed himself down before taking the announcers scouter. "Everyone retreat back to the Vortex, this planet is doomed and we aren't going with it!" Pyro said over the scouter communicates. The pirates in the stadium and  around the world quickly started flying back to their ship. The pirates on the ship hustled to get the ship ready to go once everyone boarded. They knew when Pyro said it was time to retreat, they knew something really bad was happening.

"Come on lets go" Pyro said grabbing the announcer and quickly started flying back to the ship. "I will kill you three next time I see you!" Pyro said flying passed the saiyans and in the direction of his ship.

Elprede stared at the humongous ships with a bit of awe... and in fear. The power he was sensing were enormous and he had to immediately turn off that function of Jasmine so she wasn't overloaded from the sheer magnitude of trying to read such ridiculous power levels. It was massively unsettling and he seemed to be watching the world in slower motion than normal as it descended upon them, his eyes as wide as saucers. When he saw the Nephelem, however, his jaw dropped immediately.

"There is no fucking way," he muttered, shaking his head slowly. "There is no possible fucking way a Nephelem can be that strong."

"Sir, it's recommended that we immediately flee!" Jasmine yelled at him, but Elprede remained unresponsive. He kept staring at the three Nephelem... one of them was familiar...

The familiar Nephelem stepped forward and smirked. Elprede recognized those magenta eyes anywhere; dangerous, cold, and more unsettling than a pair of glowing red ones. The person they were on grinned devilishly. "Great to see you again... Elprede. How's the family?" His deep voice rang out. He continued walking forward towards the silver fox. He bared his teeth at him cruelly. "Oh, right, they're dead. How's it feel to be the weak one now, brother?"

Elprede had completely lost control of his body. Everything felt numb, the world falling away as he and the black wolf, Sturar, were locked in eye contact. His brother was alive still, after so many years of believing that the only family member that he had left was dead... before him now, stronger than anything he had ever felt before from a Nephelem... Everything was moving slower than they ever had been between them, tension in their bodies rising. Jasmine's screams at him eventually snapped him out of it and he looked at Era, dazed. It diminished and vanished when she gave him the directions.

"Right..." he said, floating up and putting a hand on her shoulder, taking the broken Scouter. He took in a deep, shuddering breath to calm himself. It only made his anxiety worse. "Stay safe, Niir'lana. Get out of this alive."

He took one glance back at Sturar, the most powerful of the Nephelem currently there. With a growl, he blasted off out of the planet, rocketing towards the Outpost's Command Center. He never remembered going so fast in his life--his sheer speed managed to actually damage the exterior of the huge space crafts as he went by them. His body felt sore from the jump--going from 0 to full speed in an instant like that was not good for his body. He was at the Outpost in less than a second, struggling to come to a halt before he mashed himself against the planet's surface. Thankfully, he elastically slid across the crash pad, jumping and bouncing off the walls to keep his momentum going until he had burst through the doors of the Command Center, panting.

"Everything has gone wrong with the mission... strange beings showed up, all insanely powerful..." He gasped. "The planet is doomed. It was suicide if we stayed there any longer... the others are coming back as we speak." He leaned against the shattered door frame, wiping the sweat off of his forehead.

Jasmine, communications status! He mentally screamed.

"Back up and running, sir." She answered immediately, on high alert. She did wince a bit from his tone regardless.

Activate Alpha and Omega codes for all Nephelem outposts and colonized planets, including the Saiyan's. Set security measures to maximum on Zaero. Nobody gets in or gets out. He paused. Tell the Lord to be prepared for anything. We have Nephelem traitors among us.

Jasmine went to work immediately. She reached far into the Cloud, transmitting everywhere the Alpha and Omega codes. They were privy only to the silver Nephelem that was born every generation that occurred, controlling the security measures of the Nephelem's most powerful weaponry and defense technology in the known universe. Each piece was powerful enough to annihilate a planet if need be, though most were located directly on Zaero or important planets. One was even on the Saiyan home world. The silver Nephelem indeed had a very special place in the Nephelem hierarchy. An assault on the Nephelem when these weapons were active was near suicidal without power levels reaching the millions. However, each one used a huge amount of energy to fire. The Nephelem's defense systems were so advanced that they could literally absorb the attacks thrown against them. If you could not immediately punch a hole through it, you only made it stronger through the absorption of the kinetic forces you just threw upon it.

The Saiyan watching Era flee could not help but continue to smiles another Saiyan floated down from the ship and landed behind him.

"Sir, who was that?" He asked.

The first Saiyan tilted his head a little.

"No idea, but I like her." He replied.

"Why sir? Her power was next to nothing." The other said.

"True, but there was potential there... Yes. Incredible potential."

"If you say so, sir. She didn't look very special to me."

"That's because you have no sense for observing talent in others, my friend. You have much yet to learn."

The other Saiyan made a 'Tch' sound, but it didn't bother the first. He kept his eyes on Era until she and the others disappeared completely and looked back to the arena.

"Well... I'll give our fellow Saiyans the courtesy of having five minutes to get off world before we blow this place to Hell. It's in the way." He said.

"In the way of what, sir?"

"Of our home world, of course. You haven't forgotten why we're going there, have you?" He asked.

"No, sir. I haven't. But I'd hardly say this planet is "in the way.""

"Well, I think it's in the way. I'm also itching to see what my new power is capable of... 0.02% of my full power. That's all that's required for this." He said as he floated into the air and pointed his finger down at the planet.

"They've got five minutes." He said once more as a sphere of Ki appeared on his fingertip.

Meanwhile, Era, Valkyrie, and Bertholdt all rocketed towards their ships and jumped straight in punching the autopilot to take them home. Their pods blasted off as fast as their circuitry could manage, and within minutes they were in space looking back through the windows of their pods.

The giant sphere vessels numbered not three, not five, not ten... But over thirty going all the way back as far as they could see. The sheer number of beings which were on those vessels combined was mind boggling. Era couldn't even wrap her head around what their numbers would be like and how powerful they were as a unit. Just that one Saiyan and his smile had shaken her pretty badly. To see this... It nearly broke her fighting spirit. How could they hope to stand up to this? Beings with power enough to shatter her Scouter and fill this many giant vessels.

How?...

Suddenly, her Scouter picked up an incoming transmission.

"Good afternoon, my dear. I hope we didn't scare you too badly."

... It was him.

"Do pardon the intrusion into your frequencies, but I wanted you to hear something before this planet says farewell." He said.

She was silent.

"Will you not ask me what it is?"

Again, silence.

"I see. That's a shame. I was hoping to hear your voice just once before we cease communications. But so be it..."

She watched with bated breath.

"When you return home to Metahnn... Give the King my regards, because his reign is over."

With that the transmission ceased and a bright light appeared from the center of the planet. A few seconds later, the planet exploded sending a huge shockwave through space and into their pods. They were all shaken about inside and the circuits damaged slightly filling the pods with red warning lights and the computers with error messages. The three Saiyans scrambled to salvage their pods before something went catastrophically wrong and left them stranded in open space to die.

Luckily they managed to save themselves, but not before they turned to see the empty void where the planet used to be.

Era and Valkyrie's hearts both weighed heavy knowing they'd failed to save those people. They could only hope that somehow they'd find a way to stop these... creatures... before Metahnn too met its end. But there wasn't much time. Depending on how fast those vessels were they could reach Metahnn in less than a year if they didn't have light-speed travel. If they did... Less than a week.

"Is everyone Aboard?" Pyro asked one of his veteran crew members as he rushed to the main deck of the ship

"Yes sir, but we believe some unwanted people got on aboard to." The pirate said.

"We'll take care of them later, for now we need to get off this planet now!" Pyro said as the made it to the main deck. "Start the main engines, get us off this doomed world now" Pyro said as he began giving orders to his crew. The ship soon took off and quickly went into space, but barely enough to escape the blast that destroyed the world.

The crew looked in shook of the destroyed world in shook, even Pyro. "Sir what now?" one crew member asked Pyro.

"Find the stowaways and if they want to join they may, if not we'll drop them off on the nearest planet. Either way get the ship into light speed, and make as much distance away from those ships." Pyro said before leaving the deck and headed to down the hall. The veteran crew member followed him. "You make sure the stowaways are found, I'm going to something I haven't done in years... But the appears of men like those, I have no choice."

"What are you going to do sir?" the veteran pirate asked.

"I'm going to the gravity chamber and training..." Pyro said as kept walking. The veteran pirate stood there with a look of shook. Pyro entered the chamber and programmed it for twenty times normal gravity and set up holographic replicas of himself to fight. "Let the fun began..." He said before starting his training.

Era, Val, and Bertholdt made it back to the Outpost planet in roughly 4 and a half hours, well behind Elprede. When they landed, they were all accosted by the base's personnel who demanded to know the truth behind the shattered Scouter that Elprede had brought back with him. However, they were rescued by Base Commander Korvaiis who pushed his way through the crowd and demanded silence from all so he could hear the story himself.

"Just what happened out there Bertholdt?" He asked.

"Sir! Unknown alien beings descended upon the planet. They jammed communications and prevented us from detecting their approach. By the time they arrived they instantly shattered our Scouters with their power levels alone. And sir... Some of them were Saiyans." He said.

Korvaiis' jaw hung slightly agape at that statement.

The most powerful Saiyan in history had a power of roughly 750,000. Nowhere near what it would take to shatter a Scouter the instant it was activated. But shattering a Scouter the moment it was activated? Impossible. Or so he'd believed until now.

"There were Nephelem and another Frost Demon among them as well, sir. The rest were unknowns." Bertholdt said.

"... I understand." Korvaiis said, still in shock.

"I will... relay this information to Metahnn."

"Sir! The lead Saiyan threatened the King, and said to tell him that "his reign is over."" He said.

"... I will warn His Majesty of this. Get some rest everyone. And yes, that is an order." Korvaiis declared, finally coming back to himself.

@ChazGhost @Deathrattle BB

Elprede hung back quietly, floating above the rest of the Saiyans so he could peer at his returning comrades. It hurt a little bit to use his Ki at the moment; blasting off like that out of an atmosphere did a number on him, not to mention the speed he was moving at to reach the Outpost quickly. He didn't exactly enter the atmosphere of the planet at any reasonable speed. He received an earful from Jasmine just because of his own foolish behavior. Fortunately, on the other hand, they had received the news before the planet had even blown up... not that it helped at all.

The silver fox's eyes were a dull blue and his fur was marred with burns, in many different shapes and sizes. None of them were bad, however, they still hurt like a bitch (the ones that weren't numb from the nerves being fried anyways). Most of them were patched with gauze and healing remedies. It was a wonder why he wasn't in a rejuvenation pod. He had respectfully declined the use of one, saying that it "wasn't the Nephelem way." They had a knack for simply allowing injuries to heal on their own time instead of being sped up artificially unless truly needed. He could still fight and act, there wasn't any point to it in his book.

He floated down to Era and the others, raising his left hand and giving a small wave. "Did you guys make it back alright?" He asked.

Era looked to Elprede and waved a hand to him. It was a small gesture to wait a moment.

Bertholdt and Base Commander Korvaiis finished their conversation a moment later with Korvaiis leaving to send a transmission to Metahnn about what happened and about the threat to the King. Bertholdt was reassigned to another unit, leaving Valkyrie and Era as free agents for the time being until they could be assigned a new unit.

Valkyrie let out a frustrated sigh.

"They broke our Scouters..." She mumbled, still amazed even now that they were capable of doing such a thing.

"No kidding. And we have no way of ever hoping to reach power levels like that... I'm not sure what we can do anymore." Era said quietly.

Both of them were disheartened. Power was everything to the Saiyan Race. Even Era, though she was not a typical power hungry Saiyan, still had her pride in her strength and abilities. That strength and those abilities were just proven to be nothing in the face of these new beings. She'd be wiped out with but a flick of a finger... Such overwhelming power, and all she could do was run or die. She hated it, and Valkyrie did too though she was more visibly shaken than Era who was calm and quiet.

"There has to be a way to protect ourselves from them. There has to be." Valkyrie said angrily.

Era nodded and looked to Elprede.

"If that's any indication of how we're doing..." She muttered.

@ChazGhost @Deathrattle BB

Elprede stayed back at Era's gesture for him to wait a moment. He didn't really need to be told twice anyways, he was sore and it hurt a little to move around. He listened quietly to their conversation, drifting in and out of his own thoughts and catching bits and pieces of it. The events that transpired on that planet still made no sense... Of they had the technology to hide themselves, why had they shown up? What purpose did it serve to destroy an entire planet like that? How were they so powerful?

They were all questions he had no answers to. Jasmine, do you have any ideas? He asked. She may have a clue.

"Sorry, sir," she said regretfully. "I'm as lost as you are. In your current state, there are better things to worry about anyways."

He sighed. I guess. He thought, looking at Era when he saw her looking at him once more. He shrugged at her.

"I'm not actually as bad as I look," he chimed, putting his hands behind his head, "burned myself way worse than this before."

@ChoShadow

@ChazGhost

Era nodded to Elprede.

"Fair enough."

Valkyrie was visible irritated.

"Era, you're a prodigy. Any ideas on how to get strong enough to beat those guys?" She asked.

Era shook her head.

"Not a clue. I may be a fighting prodigy, but that doesn't mean I'm a strategist who can just magically come up with ways to make myself infinitely more powerful. C'mon Val. You know better than that." She chided.

Valkyrie exclaimed.

"Damn it all!" She barked.

"I can't stand knowing that there were Saiyans among them... How did they get so strong?!" She demanded of nobody in particular.

"The only thing I can think of is they either found the right person or people to train with, or they had their abilities unnaturally amplified." Era said.

"'Unnaturally amplified'?" Val asked.

"It's a disallowed practice that comes with the death penalty. I only know about it because, unfortunately, my great grandfather tried to do it for himself. It didn't end well" She said.

"'Disallowed' eh... Why?" Val inquired.

"It violates intergalactic ethics laws and has a high mortality rate, making it scientifically unsound. The success rate is only around 2-3%. The rest end up like my great grandfather."

Val didn't seem convinced.

"It seemed pretty successful to me given that their numbers were that high." She said.

"But it's no guarantee that's how they did it. Like I said they could also just have found the right person to train them and help them increase their power the old fashioned way over a number of years." She said.

"*Sigh*... Whatever. They are unbeatable, and that's all we need to know right now. I just wish we could find a way to take them down. We'll never be able to train hard enough to get our power levels that high in time to stop them from reaching Metahnn... So what do we do?" Val asked.

"No idea Val. That's what I'm trying to figure out."

Era and Val both went silent after that, not knowing what they could or could not do to make any kind of headway in finding a way to stop those beings. Saiyans or not, they were mysterious and didn't feel like Saiyans. There was something else that was just off about them. Something otherworldly, even for a Saiyan. Something about the Saiyan whom Era had locked eyes with felt wrong. The look in his eyes didn't scream Saiyan. It screamed "freak."

@Deathrattle BB @ChazGhost

Elprede pondered the questions that Val and Era were attempting to answer. He was always coming up with blanks as to how exactly they had gotten so strong, especially since it has only been a few years at most since he saw Sturar. His brother had gotten incredibly powerful somehow, he didn't exactly understand how or why. There wasn't any logical reason for such a huge increase in power, especially for a Nephelem whose average power levels were between 1 to 2 thousand. Something had seemed different about him Elprede just couldn't quite place it.

Speaking of powerful Nephelem reminded him of the legend of the First God. The first Nephelem to ever be recorded with a power level in the millions, making most others look like child's play with how incredibly strong he was. It's where he had gotten his name from--a tradition was to name the silver Nephelem to appear after him. Elprede himself wasn't sure whether or not He should believe in such fairy tales, but considering recent events, they may or may not have just seen another First Gods back there in terms of the Nephelem.

"I can't begin to imagine any supernatural power-up making a Nephelem that powerful, though," Elprede chimed in. "It isn't natural for us to become that strong, especially since last time I saw one of them, he was weaker than me." He paused. Might as well relate the legend of the First God.

"There is a legend within the Nephelem from which we are said to descend from. He is called Elprede the First God. He was supposedly a white tiger, having the traits of all of us Nephelem in one." He paused, thinking back to it. "He had a power level in the millions or something. To us, that is so absurdly high its considered impossible for us to ever attain. The First God eventually was killed by some unknown source, possibly chant fabled Super Saiyan you Saiyans have, or that Frost Demon that is supposedly ludicrously strong. I'm not sure."

"Sir, that doesn't explain why Sturar is so strong yet." Jasmine piped up. Elprede sighed.

I was getting to that... He crossed his arms over his chest. "Regardless, it is almost a guarantee that they had somehow managed some supernatural power-up for my brother. Training for a few years would not yield such drastic results for us."

The vortex landed on a saiyan outpost in about five hours after escaping. "Why did we landed here, the saiyans will attack us!" a pirate asked the senior pirate piloting the ship.

"It's the nearest inhabited planet and need to dump the stowaway some were. Besides they probably  more worried about those monster level saiyans that destroyed a world." the senior pirate said before pushing a button on his scouter. Give the stowaways some credits and let them leave. If any them want to join the crew, let them" he said giving orders to the crew.

A door on the ship opened up and stair case lowered. About thirty men and woman started of different alien races who came to be in or watch the adjournment started leaving the ship. "Good luck..." the senior pirate said quietly watching the stowaway leave.

Meanwhile Pyro was training, fighting of hologram fighters, racing around the gravity chamber, and lifting special weights.

I know I could of taken at least most of those dirty monkey no matter their power level... But my crew could of died... Well next time I see those monsters I'll just finish them quickly... There no way they can fight my final form at full power... Pyro thought to himself as he worked.

Era and Val listened to Elprede's story of the First God of the Nephelem. It was an intriguing story, and when he mentioned the Super Saiyan of legend both Era and Val's eyes lit up.

"Of course... The Super Saiyan." Val muttered.

"I'd forgotten all about that old tale..." Era whispered.

"'The memory of time whispers of a legend long since past.'" Val began to recall from the old stories.

"'The winds shall shear the land of life. The waters becoming as a torrential maelstrom. Mountains crumble and the heavens quake in fear, heralding the arrival of true power." Era continued.

"Lightning streaks through a cloudless sky and the very fabric of space and time warps around Him.Val continued.

"Behold the birth of the Golden Warrior, the Super Saiyan.Era concluded.

The old legend of the Super Saiyan was very vague, but it was a legend almost all Saiyans (at one time or another) believed was true. Long ago a Saiyan supposedly was born with unfathomable power, even for an infant. As time went on he only grew stronger, even when not experiencing direct combat. Whereas all Saiyans naturally had either some shade of a red, blue, or even violet aura, the aura of the Super Saiyan was said to be that of a brilliant, gleaming golden hue which is how the legend was first born of the Golden Warrior.

Many Saiyans throughout history trained their entire lives to reach that level. None succeeded. The closest was the Saiyan of the not too distant past who had a power level just above 700,000. But even that was not enough to reach the legendary Golden Warrior's power. 700,000 was unfathomable to a Saiyan in today's world. The strongest among their race right now only had a power just under 80,000. That was it. Val was around half that, but still there was nothing to say she'd ever reach that level.

After all the Saiyans had one major obstacle to their growth to overcome if they ever dreamed of reaching that state... The Genetic Limiter.

The Genetic Limiter was, to a Saiyan, the single greatest source of fear in their culture. It was a point in which their genetic makeup no longer allowed for the further absorption and processing of Ki within their bodies, meaning that no matter how hard they trained or how many battles they partook in, their power would remain stagnant. In fact, Era had already reached that point. Her power of 10,455 was as high as her power was supposed to be able to go according to her family physician who said that her body had already shown signs of reaching this state.

It could be likened to a water bottle. Their bodies were the bottle, and the Genetic Limiter was the closed off cap. Their bodies could absorb water (Ki) until the bottle was full, but it could go no further than that. The only way to go further than their Genetic Limiter allowed would be to find a way to overcome the core of their very genetic makeup, and that was not something that they'd just suddenly be able to do. Era had thought about this her whole life, coming from a Low Class background and all. But she could never come up with anything.

No matter what Era did she would grow no more powerful than this, and Val believed that she was rapidly approaching her cap as well.

"As much as I wish we could find a way to attain the power of the Super Saiyan, it's not going to happen..." Val said quietly.

Era sighed.

"I wish I could say "you're wrong," but if I did I'd be lying to myself as well as to you." Era said sadly.

Valkyrie looked to Elprede.

"I don't suppose you have any kind of special Nephelem technology which can alter a Saiyan's genetic makeup lying around do you?" Valkyrie asked.

Elprede wondered about the idea of a 'Super Saiyan' for some time now. He wasn't exactly sure what he was supposed to believe; both the Super Saiyan and the First God apparently existed several thousand years ago or something... perhaps they even coexisted together. Beings seemed to be much more primal, much stronger than they are in this current day and age... maybe it was a cycle of sorts. Beings would simply continue to grow weaker and weaker due to the lack of a need for such power, and then when they reach a certain point, certain individuals would explode in strength and power when it was needed once more. That's what he liked to think, anyway.

"... Time will fade, darkness will come to bay, burning Silver Light will shine through the gray..." He recited quietly. A quote from a number of books he had read back in his studies in school. "...  He had undertaken privately researching the topic of the First God and related legends of the other races. Such things were so unique that he truly only found one other seemingly-forgotten myth to be similar; the famous golden Super Saiyan. "... When all seems lost, look for the White Tiger behind golden locks."

Jasmine was surprised that he remembered that so vividly. The memories of a small, teen fox with bushy, unkempt silver fur shoving his muzzle far into a book came to her and him. "Sir?" She asked, confused. He didn't respond to her, so she simply didn't say anything else.

In all of his expansive travels, hardships, and other travesties he had experienced in his rather short lifespan, no other thing had quite caught his attention such as the First God and the Super Saiyan. They both almost seem to have existed at the same point in time, somewhere thousands of years ago in the past. Hell, perhaps they could even be mistaken for two separate beings that are actually the same one due to their similarities. The colors silver and blue were associated with the First God, while golden and red were considered its opposite. A strange coincidence?

That brought on another thing that he noticed. He focused his mind and Ki and closed his eyes. A sweep of wind seemed to rush by as his body exploded in blinding white light suddenly. When he was visible once more, he was in his Primal Form. He looked as if he was only a pure mass of swirling, whirling mass of Ki, black and white raging around in streams and perplexing, random patterns in the form of his body. He looked a bit bigger than before, his Ki doubling as well. He stretched out his hand, his palm turning up towards the sky and summoned his Ki.

He'd been practicing reaching this form in secret as soon as he had discovered it accidentally, flying out into deep space to focus. He'd attained it many times since then, finding that he needed to keep in constant focus on his Ki in order to maintain it. It would definitely be difficult to use in battle, though not as much as anybody else. He did have two minds to work with; his own and Jasmine's, both being able to focus on multiple tasks brilliantly regardless, and keep track of many things at once. He was more concerned about refining the technique into something easier to use and control. Not to mention, falling out of it could be drastic because he couldn't control his Ki very well for a short period after reverting. It wasn't battle ready yet. However--

"--I noticed this when you and I were bumping noggins to come up with new techniques and stuff, Niir'lana," he said, looking at the brilliantly glowing blue energy ball. "My Ki isn't this color normally. It's usually purple. Strange, though... I'm a silver Nephelem, one of the few known to exist in Nephelem history... when I turn into whatever this is, my Ki turns blue. Silver and blue are colors associated with the First God." He glanced up at Era, obviously wondering about her thoughts on it. "The opposite colors of the First God are golden and red. Both the Super Saiyan and First God existed thousands of years ago. Don't you think that's an odd coincidence that both myths seem to come from the same time period?"

Era and Val were both taken aback by Elprede transforming so suddenly like that, but thankfully they'd seen this before and were able to relax almost immediately. And when Elprede started to speak, they both listened. It was indeed an odd coincidence that Elprede had the two colors of the First God. What was even more interesting was that both Valkyrie and Era had red Ki, the rarest of the colors the Saiyans were famous for. Blue was the most common with over 60% of Saiyans sporting it. Violet was next, with 28% sporting it. And the final 12% of Saiyans had red Ki.

"It is rather odd, yes." Era said.

"It's almost uncanny. If I were one to believe in such odd coincidences and one to hope that I could be witness to such a coincidence leading to something amazing in the present, I would begin to suggest we could possibly reach the same levels as our great ancestors. Sadly, as impressive as your form is and despite the fact that a small percentage of Saiyans have red Ki, I very much doubt that any of us will ever see the same kinds of power of the First God or the Super Saiyan." Val remarked.

Era sighed and nodded somewhat sadly.

"Unfortunately I have to agree. This coincidence is nice to think about, but sometimes you just have to know when you're beat. Whatever these beings did to attain their power goes beyond our understanding." Era said.

Val concurred, sitting down on a bench nearby to try and clear her mind.

Era, meanwhile, stretched her arms above her head.

"Well..." She began, a small "crack" sound coming from her elbows.

"Even if we'll never reach those levels of power it doesn't mean we can't make ourselves useful. When the order comes, whatever it may be, we'll do our part." She said rather cheerfully.

Era was always the more optimistic of the two, with Valkyrie being more than straight faced cynical one. Era found a reason to be happy where Val usually did not, but it didn't diminish their friendship any. But Era had a point. They could never, with the Genetic Limiter, reach the levels of power that the Super Saiyan was supposedly capable of. But they could still be useful in their roles when it came time to protect their race from these monstrosities.

Elprede tapped his foot against the ground quickly. Actually, he was tapping it so quickly that it was just blurring to Era and Valkyrie, moving almost too fast for the eye to keep up. It was working an indentation of his foot into the ground. He continued gazing at the blue energy orb in his palm, studying his hand and it. The Ki was different than what he was used to, seemingly more refined and powerful. That was another thing he had noticed, as well; Nephelem may not gain huge amounts of Ki like Saiyans or Frost Demons, but their level of fine-tuned control over it, down to the most individual speck of power, seemingly only grew better and better as their powers grew. He simply put it down to the fact that they learned how to handle greater amounts of Ki, therefore, had greater control over it.

It was also made apparent to him that Nephelem did not have such a thing as a 'Genetic Limiter' that Era and Valkyrie talked about. Nephelem continued to grow--not in huge amounts, mind you, but enough to be noticeable over their long lifespans. Your power was mostly likely two or three times that of what you were when you were 100 years old compared to what you were when you were 1,000 years old for Nephelem. He'd even heard of some living to be way older than that normal age cap. Nothing he had ever researched could ever explain it.

Jasmine, what do you think of all this? He decided to ask. Might as well confront the one living in his head about it, too. The Super Saiyan and First God?

Jasmine appeared startled at being asked that so suddenly. She took a moment to formulate a response. "Well, sir, I... Don't think its impossible for them to return at some point or another. Elpreide is fabled to be immortal, after all... The Super Saiyan could appear eventually, just like the 'Legendary Super Saiyan' if there is any difference at all. At what point in time, nobody can be certain of that." She paused and projected her voice outward to the Saiyans.

"Hello again, Lady Niir'lana, Lady Valkyrie!" She said cheerfully to them. Elprede smirked and looked skyward, humming a song he had heard before. "We do have technology that can change the genetic make-up of others. While it is more specifically geared towards Nephelem, it is not an impossibility to be used on other races as well. It has been theorized that it could be used on other races, however, remains untested. The trick is simply finding the correct gene."

Era and Valkyrie shared a look when Jasmine mentioned that it was possible for them to alter genetic makeup. Even if it was mostly geared towards the Nephelem, if Val and Era could get it to work, even just for the two of them, then their hopes of survival and the survival of their race skyrocketed.

"I don't suppose you have it with you here, do you?" Era asked somewhat jokingly.

"I too am eager to see this in action and test it for myself." Val said.

Era took a moment to think.

"If I recall, having spoken to my family physician numerous times about why the Genetic Limit exists at all, the Genetic Limiter exists within our chromosomes on the 24th pair. Saiyans, as I'm sure you know, have 28 chromosomes as opposed to humans who have 23. Our 24th chromosome is linked to our Genetic Limiter, so if your technology can focus in on it and figure out what about the chromosome is causing the limitation, then our bodies will finally be free to grow without a ceiling... which could be potentially fatal if we let it get too far out of control. But still if those Saiyans could exist like that, so can we." She said.

Elprede frowned and crossed his arms over his chest. Jasmine wasn't supposed to tell them that, that was a secret. Hey, JJ? Remember that talk we had about not telling others Nephelem stuff without my permission? He asked, drumming the fingers of his left hand against his right arm.

Jasmine balked. She didn't realize it was supposed to be a secret. "Oh, sir... I'm sorry, I didn't think that would be a secret." She apologized quickly.

He shook his head, sighing. Well, it's done now. Be more careful next time, please?

He brought his gaze back to the two female Saiyans. "Jasmine wasn't supposed to tell you we have a genetic modifier," he stated bluntly. "That wasn't for us to share. But since there isn't any point in trying to back out of this now... its on Zaero. I'd have to ask for you two to come with me to--"

"Sir, wormhole opening nearby."

He trailed off from what he was about to say. What? Who the hell is coming via wormhole?

If Jasmine could twiddle her thumbs, she would have at that point. "Er... Princess Esperanza, sir," she said meekly.

Elprede's eyes widened, flabbergasted. "The--what--why is the princess coming HERE!?" He asked out loud. He whipped around to face Era and Valkyrie. "You two, on your best behavior! Apparently the guys back on Zaero saw it fit to send the princess to come fetch me or something..."

@ChoShadow @ChazGhost

Era and Valkyrie were discussing quietly something between themselves when suddenly Elprede asked about a princess coming to the Saiyan outpost. When he demanded that they be on their best behavior Valkyrie shrugged while Era looked to Elprede with a very mischievous smile.

"I don't suppose you and the princess have any kind of romantic history, do you?" She asked, leaning down to look at Elprede face to face.

Valkyrie rolled her eyes.

"And that's about as good as her behavior gets when she knows something like this is happening." She said, shaking her head

@Deathrattle BB

Elprede growled. "Of course not!" He barked. However, the red glow on his face--his silver fur failing miserably to hide--gave him away. When he realized how hot his face felt, he sighed. "Well... I like her, but considering that she's royalty and I'm just some out-of-the-blue Nephelem, it isn't really a compatible match. The King and Queen have been teasing Esperanza and I for forever about it."

"Esperanza and Elprede sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n--"

"I WILL REMOVE YOUR CIRCUIT BOARD, JASMINE!" Elprede yelled, seemingly to nobody. Jasmine could only bust out laughing in his head and he turned tomato red.

He glanced up when a warning came up that a wormhole had opened. He spotted it quickly--a mysterious hole in reality, swirling and looming. He held his breath when a large ship came through it, similar in structure and appearance to the destroyers they had saw on the planet that had been blown to smithereens, but on a much smaller scale. Either they were of the same origins, or somebody had been stealing from one or the other. It moved forward a few hundred miles before coming to a halt and floating. The bay doors opened, several figures flying out of the ship towards them.

A fox like Elprede came towards them, however, their fur was a beautiful array of gold, reds, and oranges for fur color instead. Esperanza was a slender Nephelem, not appearing to have much in the way of muscle, like Elprede, but her power level still read 3,922, a pretty good cut above the rest of the normal Nephelem still. She had wide hips and, all things considered, a reasonable bust to her size. She had soft features, giving a feeling of warmth and comfort when her bright fiery eyes passed over you. She wore a traveling cloak like the silver fox's, hers was clean and still in pristine condition, having its original white and blue coloring. Underneath the cloak she had on garments made of leather, fitting to her form tightly.

As soon as Esperanza landed on the bay, she zipped across it and glomped Elprede in a hug. He had been about to bow to her before that, nearly falling over from being tackled in such a way. "Oh my Lord, its been so long since I've seen you!" She giggled. Elprede looked at everywhere but her, somewhat glad when she pulled away, and that was when he actually looked at her.

He shrugged and let a smile come on his face. "I'm busy?" He seemingly suggested more than said, glancing at Era and Valykrie. "Niir'lana, Valkyrie, this is Princess Esperanza. Princess Esperanza, Lady Niir'lana and Lady Valkyrie."

Esperanza gave a small bow to them. "Greetings, Lady Niir'lana, Lady Valkyrie. You may just call me 'Esperanza' if it suits you." She looked mischievously at Elprede. "He's always been one for formalities first."

"Hey a wormhole just opened up, and a ship is coming through... it looks like the destroyer from before but smaller..." a pirate on the main deck reported.

"Wait what? read the power levels on the ship!' The senior pirate said as a screen with power level came up. "Ohh nothing to worry about... Hey isn't that a Nephelm royal... i think that's their princess. Well boys we came here to drop off some stowaways and for our good deed we get nice hostage to take... So who wants to interrupt Pyros training to tell him...?" The pirate said as a screen showed Esperanza flying out of her ship. The room went silent when he asked who wanted to tell Pyro in the middle of training. Then one pirate coughed. "Good job, now go tell him."

"Wait what?" the pirate said before getting kicked out of the main deck. Then he walked over the gravity chamber doors and knocked. Pyro i the middle of fighting a hologram when he heard the knock.

"Code 000, end training session... better be important..." Pyro said as the hologram disappeared and gravity in the room went back to normal. "What is it..." Pyro said annoyed opening the door.

"ummm... A Nephelm royal is on world and we think we should go kidnap her... which we need your help for..." the pirate said very nervously.

"...Fine, I'll be ready, get a small team together to go with me, including you." Pyro demand leaving the chamber and heading to the kitchen to get a quick snack.

"Yes... sir" The pirate said before running to get more men for the team.

Era smiled at Elprede and leaned in closer arching an eyebrow when she saw his face turn red, but backed up a bit when he yelled about shutting down some circuit board or something rather. Then, a wormhole appeared and a ship came through. It wasn't long before the Nephelem princess emerged and raced down.

Era's smile was ear to ear when she saw the Princess glomp Elprede, and after introductions had been made Era leaned down to talk to the princess with that sly smile still on her face.

"I think this one has the hots for you princess." She joked.

Valkyrie walked up and gave Era a good bop on the back of the head, earning her a hiss in response from Era.

"Mind your manners Niir'lana. We are in the presence of royalty from an allied race." She barked.

She bowed to the princess again.

"My apologies for my friend's stupidity. She lets her mischievous nature get the best of her sometimes." She said in apology.

Esperanza looked mildly amused at Elprede's obvious discomfort with her being around. She was completely aware of how he had felt about her for months now, she was just curious how long it would be until he finally expressed them. It did give her some measure of discomfort that he always felt he was too far below her to even consider the notion of being with her, but regardless, she assumed she would have to make the first move soon. Elprede was one of those men who just were too unsure of themselves to do it, hidden behind all that bravado and confidence.

She smirked at Era's comment while Elprede totally ignored it. "Oh, I know," she whispered in return, and then giggled, holding a hand in front of her muzzle to try and stifle them when Valkyrie hit Era. "Its quite alright, Lady Valkyrie. I'm not one of those nobles who will cut your head off for making a off-handed comment to them." She laughed.

Elprede was currently hiding in the background, grumbling something under his breath. Esperanza's sensitive ears picked it up and she leaned off to the side a bit, looking at him. "Something to say, love?" She teased.

The silver fox's sapphire blue eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets and he let out a nervous cough. How could she just call him 'love' like that out of the blue? "U-uh, n-no. Nothing at all." He said quickly.

"He was talking about how pretty you were," Jasmine piped up. Elprede's entire face turned blood red.

Esperanza gave a small blush, hidden well by her fur color and looked down at the fly shyly, clasping her hands behind her back. She couldn't deny that she liked him back as well.

"JASMINE YOU TRAITOR! WHY!?" He screeched in embarrassment, pulling the hood from his cloak up and over his face to hide himself.

Jasmine laughed heartily at his expense.
