"I was trying to give you monkey time for your moment." Pyro said entering the room. "And yes I had my fill, beating up a whole army of monkey and then drink all I can in the party after I was able to enjoy myself fully." Pyro said continuing to talk as came over to Fae's bedside. "Anyways I heard what you did, and I got to ask, is that what usually happens when you monkeys mate?" Pyro said trying to make a joke. "And also this is for you" Pyro said placing the bottle on the her bed stan.

During the next couple weeks Pyro tried to expand his crew. But it more or less failed as even though he was able to defeat an entire army the fame went to mostly Era and Val. So he continued his own crew until eventually Era gave him a call about some kind of surprise....
Pyro was one of the first to show up. "Era what is this surprise you were talking about?

Faeora didn't spend much time with her family the past two weeks. It felt... even after all that happened... that things had returned to normal. Despite her power having grown far beyond that of her family, aside from Faero who came to check up on her occasionally, her family didn't pay her much mind. The talk of the planet was the two super saiyans. Most people didn't even know that Faeora had been there, let alone confronted the former King. Maybe it was for the best. But she could help but a bit sore about being ignored. It was natural though... the power of the super saiyan was such a grand thing. And the events that shook the planet was more than worthy of out shadowing what little she had done. Get beaten by the King. Plenty of others had that happen to them. It didn't make it sting any less. She was powerful now... more than she used to be...

Era was busy. As to be expected. So was Faero, who was doing what he could to help the new King get situated. As well as trying to keep their father from finding anything to take advantage of. She at least got to spend some time with Valkyrie and Pyro though. Getting to know them a bit better.

Fae for the most part, spent a lot of her time alone. And did what any saiyan normally did when they had nothing better to do. Training. She was stronger now. And she took her time to get used to it. But even still... all her time training yielded... unsatisfying results... Increasing only by hundreds at a time... mere hundreds... hundreds when before she had once grew by a million! It was... sort of sad and funny at the same time. To think that not long ago that growing my bounds of hundreds would have been great leaps to her. But it seemed... that she was reverting back to her series of slow growth. But now... even with ten million being in sight. She couldn't even surpass that number.

Well, the day came where something interesting did happen. Receiving a message from Era about something she wanted to show them. More than excited, and putting the training from her mind, she sped off to go see what the hubbub was about. She arrived shortly after Pyro.

"You called? What's this surprise you were talking about? Bought a planet? Getting married?"

Era waited with bated breath for everyone to arrive.

Pyro was first, followed swiftly by Fae and then Valkyrie who was last though only be a few seconds coming in behind Fae. Once they had all landed and asked their customary "what do you want" questions, she clapped her hands together in excitement.

"I have something truly amazing to show all of you with regards to our training capabilities!" She said with a cute little hop at the end.

"Come with me!" She said.

She turned and flew off slowly towards the ship which had been ordered for her while she was queen, and as they landed just outside the main door she turned to everyone with a big smile.

"Prepare to be amazed once again by the intellect and expertise of the C'thilians!" She said.

She opened the door to the ship and led them all inside. It was quite roomy, even in the corridors, which begged the question how it looked so when outside the ship didn't seem to be that large.

"It's not the surprise, but this ship has been refitted to be a specialized containment field with space having been warped to allow for a greater volume of space to be occupied within its confines. It's almost three times larger inside than it is outside. Pretty cool right?" She asked as she continued leading them through.

"Okay, that statement made me lose a few brain cells Era." Val commented.

Era chuckled.

"The C'thilians warped space within the ship's walls making the inside three times larger in volume than the outside. Make sense?" She asked.

Val nodded.

"You could have tried being that simple from the start you know." Val scolded somewhat sarcastically.

Era chuckled again, and at last after a few more moments they came to a door which was isolated in a corridor all its own. Above the door was a single word: 'Void'

Era turned to everyone, grinning ear to ear.

"Here we are everyone! Prepare to be completely dumbfounded by the C'thilian technology!"

Era opened the door and stepped inside, moving out of the way for everyone to enter.

When they did enter, what they would see would be nothing short of breathtaking. And for various reasons.

The moment they entered they'd be greeted by a tremendous increase in gravity compared to the outside world due to the nature of the space they were now occupying. The warping of space and time caused an increase in gravity which was not only great, but fluctuated depending on where you were within the void itself since the warping was inconsistent and could't be stabilized. It was what it was, and that's just how it would be. Some areas had only 3-5x gravity, some areas had around 50x gravity, some had up to 200x gravity, and very rarely one would find a zone with nearly 1,000x gravity. It was a craps shoot, and you'd have to be very careful about where you were within the space or you could find yourself squished by ungodly levels of gravity fluctuations.

The 'Void' room they stepped into was exactly what it sounded like: a void. There was a single living space attached to the doorway complete with a tile slab floor connected to a kitchen, bathroom, kitchen, and lounge. All the basic comforts of home right at the door, but beyond it was a vast sea of nothingness which went on literally forever. The empty sea of nothingness looked like one giant aurora borealis from Earth with no ground or sky or horizon. Just a giant aurora borealis that stretched on forever.

Truly it was beautiful, but it was also the single most dangerous space they had ever set foot in.

Era walked over to the edge of the walkway and turned to face everyone with her arms outstretched to emphasize the void behind her.

"Welcome to my Void Room everyone! I had a discussion with the C'thilians about the possibilities of warping the space within a confined area so that it seemed to go on forever, and they told me that it was very possible. And as you can see behind me, they have done just that. A special astrophysical algorithm was created just for this room's design which causes the space to fold on itself infinitely, so what you see behind me is literally the beginning of "forever." It goes on endlessly, giving us infinite space to stretch our legs and train to our heart's content!" She began.

She gave them a moment to take it all in, and Val was one of the first to walk forward and just stare at the emptiness with her mouth slightly agape.

(Just for comparison, Metahnn's gravity is already 5x that of Earth gravity)

"That space behind me is also quite dangerous, however. The gravity here where we are standing is only 5 times that of Metahnn's gravity, so most of us barely even feel it, if at all. But once you step beyond this tiled edge, the gravity increases to 20x instantly. So watch that first step. That 20 times gravity volume stretches on for quite a ways, but if you venture far enough you may eventually find a zone with up to 1,000 times that of Metahnn's gravity... So yeah. It's dangerous to go out too far without having powered up quite a bit. Even Val and my Super Saiyan forms would feel like our bodies were being utterly crushed by such gravity. So if you plan to train here, which I hope you do, be sure that you stick close to the entrance at first until our powers really start rising!" She suggested.

She gave them another moment to take it all in about the gravity fluctuations, and had one more bombshell to drop on them.

"The last thing about this room is the warping of time. Time flows many, many times faster in this space than it does outside. While one minute goes by outside this room, ten hours go by inside. If you do the math, that means that for every hour that passes outside, twenty five days pass in here. Twenty. Five. Days." She said, really emphasizing that twenty five day figure.

"However that brings its one drawback into play: its need to be powered. The room draws so much energy that it can only sustain someone inside like this for up to two hours at a time. If you don't get out of the room in time, it shuts down and that space collapses in on itself with you inside crushing you under the weight of infinite gravity. Basically it becomes a black hole until it powers up again and the space is restored to its previous setting. So don't get stuck inside is the long and short of it." She said.

Val unconsciously reached out and grabbed Era by the lapel pulling her in closer as she continued staring out at the emptiness.

"You thought of all this?... You?!" She asked.

Era half nodded.

"I thought of a space where we could really focus on our Super Saiyan training without worrying about the confines of the rooms on Pyro's ship. They're great and all with their atmospheric adaptations, but they're too cramped for us to really stretch our legs at full power. So the room's space was my idea, but the warping of time was the C'thilians idea and I just said "go for it" because I knew that would also be a tremendous boon to us. Two hours go by outside, fifty days inside. Imagine the training that we coul-"

Val let go of her lapel and finally blinked away the tears that were forming because she'd left her eyes open for too long. She wiped them away and blinked a few more times to make sure her eyes weren't playing tricks on her, and then turned to Era and shook her head.

"I don't know whether to call you insane or brilliant, but whatever it may be there is no doubt that is nothing short of incredible." She said.

It truly was a marvel of astrophysical engineering by the C'thilians... And it was all theirs.

"What the hell... How did they... Is that how science works now..." Pyro said scratch his head when Era said her ship was three times bigger inside then outside. He confusion and amazement only grew bigger as the entered the void room. Pyro looked around at the endless space as Era explained how it works. "Are we sure this is science or did call on some dark god or somthing because I have no idea how this is possible." Pyro said dumbfounded as he put on foot over the edge of the rest area and felt the change of gravity instantly. He started moving his foot back and forth like some. "This is insane..." Pyro said still confused.

Era listened to Pyro as he explained his own skepticism at what he was looking at, and as he finished speaking she looked out towards the void.

"I was scarcely able to believe it when they told me it was possible. But they explained the process of creating the chamber to me quite clearly, even though I didn't ask them to." She said.

She then turned to Pyro.

"Think of it like this: Time and Space are relatives of one another, and by using the same tech which generates a wormhole or activates a ship's warp drive, the C'thilians can create closed chambers which do the same thing in a more concentrated way. Within the confines of the chamber Time and Space can be warped in a variety of ways to achieve different goals. In the case of this chamber we're in right now, time is warped in such a way as to allow it to flow much faster. Hence the reason inside we can train for fifty days before leaving when only two hours have passed outside that door." She said, pointing to the entrance.

"In this chamber, Space is warped infinitely which is why the gravity is so whacked out. Where the folds of Space are most dense is where the gravity is strongest, and where the folds are thinnest is where gravity is the weakest. The warping, or folding, rather, of space is still in its infancy as far as technology is concerned and as such it's unstable. Hence the whacked out gravity."

She looked back out towards the room.

"This place is my pride and joy, and I can't wait to put it to use!" She said excitedly.

Once everyone had had their fill of checking out the new training space Era intended to make use of, she ushered them all out and told them that for now the room was still charging to prepare for occupation later. So sadly there would be no training today.

Still it was good that they knew of what was happening on her ship and that the room was there. Fifty days was a long time, even if it didn't feel like it sometimes. Era was eager and excited beyond words to make use of that space to test the true limits of her Super Saiyan power.

Deep down she felt there was no limit despite her logical mind saying there had to be one. Her power when she fought the king felt like it had no limit. It was like she was drawing on a well of power that had no bottom to it. Yet despite this feeling, when she was fighting her power hit a definitive ceiling which she couldn't push past until she remembered what the now deceased Darkhood "king" had done to Fae. When Era's anger was triggered, her power skyrocketed for a brief period enough to blast him into oblivion.

So which was it?

Does the Super Saiyan power have a limit, or doesn't it?

She was determined to find out. And the best way would be her new Void Room. But it would be another three days until it was ready for occupation for the first time, and she had to make sure to remember to set some kind of alarm system inside to warn them of when they needed to exit lest they get caught in the black-hole shut down. She'd have to ask the C'thilians about that. A simple 5-minute warning would do. That way they could get out with plenty of time to spare and then immediately shut it down to begin its charging phase.

After that came the boring part which was waiting for it to finish recharging which would take a total of 200 hours, or just over 8 days days.

Still, it was a small price to pay. An 8 day rest/recuperation period for 50 days inside the best training space was a more than fair trade off.

Those three days of waiting passed by without much happening other than Era and Val training casually at some of the local Saiyan Training facilities. Many of their friends and family had come to observe them training and asked to spar, which they accepted since they weren't shy about showing off their new powers. Of course they powered down to make it a relatively fair fight, but still it was obvious that the rest of the Saiyan Race was still in awe over what they could do which made going anywhere a bit difficult.

Everyone knew their names and faces now. Where once they were just simple Saiyans who could blend with any crowd, now they were global celebrities and icons. It was almost impossible to go anywhere without being stopped at least a half dozen times and asked to show their Super Saiyan forms. So when the three day period was over and the room fully charged, Era immediately invited Fae, Valkyrie, and Pyro over to her ship to meet her by the entrance to the Void Room if they were so inclined. If they didn't want to, they were free to go about their own business.

But for Era, it was time to put this incredible new space to use at last!

After leaving Era's ship Pyro continued to ponder about what the hell was that room. But after a good night sleep he slowly raped his head around its idea... And after an engineer went through how it was possible a few more times. Other then that during the three days Pyro continued to train the trio of students. The three showed good progress during their fight against the saiyan army, they work well together and handle fights sole good as well. But they still hand a long way to go before they would get even just Fae's current level. Pyro of course would be very happy to push them though...

A few days later...
Pyro made it to the voids room entrance first once again. "Okay lets see what this room can do." Pyro said as he showed up.

Era saw Pyro had accepted her invitation, so when he arrived she greeted him before waiting for Val and Fae who came next. Once they'd arrived she turned to the room and pressed a large green button by the door which caused it to open slowly. From inside came a bright light, almost too bright to look at directly. Era walked inside and was engulfed in the light until she passed through the entry way and was able to open her eyes again.

She was inside now, and as she looked around she couldn't help but smile.

The vastness of the room was a glorious sight to behold in its own way, and she was eager to see what she could do and how far she, Val, Pyro, and Fae could push their powers in this infinite space.

She turned around to wait for the others to pass through the veil of light which served as a sort of "dimensional barrier" while the room was activated to prevent the leakage of time from escaping the room.

Faeora was actually quite antsy during those three days. Highly anticipating this new toy of Era's. Seriously, the idea of it boggled her mind and she didn't understand it in the least. Nor did she care. The concept had left her speechless. Three days, Fae was left thinking up all the possibilities that it offered. Three days until she went on basically a training vacation. Surely there, if it was all that Era said it was, then it was someplace that Fae believed she could get stronger.

The alarm went off... no... that wasn't the alarm. With a groan, she reached out and swiped the communicator off her side table and onto the floor so that she could go back to sleep in peace. She needed her rest for this thing. She cracked open her eyes, just barely, and the light from the window flooded into her iris. Bright... BRIGHT! Faeora fell out of bed and landed on her face as she flailed out of her sheets.

She had overslept. And so it was with record speed, that she got ready and dressed. And sped through the sky to the ship. As she got there, she saw Era there, waiting there at the door to the chamber. "I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long. Sorry." She said as she walked through the veil and into the void... once again breathless as she immediately felt the weight press down on her. Woah...

One by one the others passed through the glowing white veil and into the room before it shut behind them after a few seconds. With the four of them all closed within, time officially started ticking on their new journey of training and self discovery.

Era turned around and smiled.

"Well everyone, here we are at last." She said.

"Within this space the only limitation you have is not blowing up the entrance. Remember that if the door is destroyed the space will collapse in on itself and we will all die in the resulting black-hole effect. So if you're going to train yourself at full power... Don't do it here." She said.

She turned back to face everyone.

"To ensure the entrance isn't destroyed and to make sure nobody gets lost out there in the void, which is a possibility, I'd like to suggest that at least one of us stays here to protect the entrance from stray Ki blasts. This entrance, being as small as it is, will only be visible for around a mile and a half or two miles depending on how high in the air you are. So if you venture further out to train you'll lose sight of it and there are no landmarks in this place to help you find your way back. If one of us stays here they will serve as a beacon so we can follow their energy signature back if we venture further out into the void."

Valkyrie considered this and nodded.

"It sounds fair to me. We can also keep each other safe as well by making sure one of us is always rested and able to provide medical treatment if needed. There's no rejuvenation chamber in here unless my eyes deceive me, so we'll have to be more careful and more intelligent about our training to make sure we don't suffer any serious injuries. If we allow ourselves any broken bones or disturbed or ruptured internal organs we're going to be in real danger unless we leave the Void Room which isn't something I think any of us want, I'm sure." Val said.

Era nodded.

"Indeed. We just got access to it, so if we cause any major damage to one another it's only going to end our training prematurely which isn't going to benefit any of us."

She looked to Fae and Pyro.

"So, are we all in agreement?" She asked.

D. Rex D. Rex ChazGhost ChazGhost

"Fashionably late I see" Pyro smirked looking at Fae as she arrived. Then Pyro listened to Era's explanation and plan. "Makes sense to me. One person guards the exit, so it doesn't get destroyed from stray ki blasts and they also provides medical treatment for minor injures." Pyro said crossing his arms. "The only question left is who stays first. I personally vote for it to be one of you two" Pyro said pointing at Val and Era.
D. Rex D. Rex ChoShadow ChoShadow

Era and Val glanced at Pyro with bewilderment before looking at each other, and Era was the first to look back at Pyro with something of a smirk.

"Nice try Pyro, but remember this Void Room belongs to me like your ship belongs to you. I'm not going to be first to sit out." She said before glancing briefly at Fae out of the corner of her eye, and then back to Pyro as she walked towards him a bit.

Era walked in-between Fae and Pyro and Val walked over to Fae and guided her to the edge of the entry way so she could talk to her as a distraction. Just casual "You know how Pyro is. He always wants to be the big man in charge," stuff so Fae thought Era was going to silently scold him or something.

As Era watched Val out of the corner of her eye, she spoke in her normal voice which would be just enough for Fae to hear.

"And as for Valkyrie? Well, let's be perfectly honest. She's the only one who's worthy of being my sparring partner at full power." She said, glancing at Pyro and gesturing with her head for him to lean in a bit.

"Listen. Val and I are going to try to help Fae reach Super Saiyan, and we've theorized that the only way to do that is by preying on her one major weakness which is her inferiority complex. We'll fight at full power to demonstrate just what Fae is missing out on as well as talk down to her and act as if her current power which she's worked so hard to achieve is meaningless. Do us a favor and play along all right? Once she finally transforms we'll let you go back to doing your own thing." She whispered.

Once Pyro gave his answer, Era backed off and spoke normally again as she started walking over to the edge of the entry way.

"Val and I will have a thirty minute sparring match at full power out in the Void where we pose no risk of destroying the entrance. I'll use one of the micro alarm bots the C'thilians provided me with to stay close to us and issue the alarm when our time is up. And we'll be able to sense either of you from wherever we go, so you and Fae can decide between yourselves who gets to sit it out first. It's only thirty minutes, after all. So no matter which of you it is it won't kill you."

She shrugged to Pyro, smiling, "Don't think I would miss out on an opportunity like this."

Faeora nodded to instructions. The conditions seemed to be fair and wise. Getting lost here seemed to be pretty grim fate. But when the debate came up of who wanted to do what first, it should have been pretty clear that everybody wanted to be the first to experiment with the new playground. Thougj, this was Era's, so Fae didn't really feel right pressing any particular order. Pyro did though.

Val pulled Fae aside, and Fae looked back at Pyro and Era conversing. "It's to be expected. I'm sure with the pressure off him to be as such, he'll ease off it. Who knows? Maybe with us off his ship, he'll start to miss us."

After Pyro and Era had their meeting and they regrouped, "Thirty minutes? That's all? Heh, it will give me enough time to stretch."

She looked at Pyro,"So, how we going to decide whose next? Rock paper scissors or are we going to have to fight for it?" She teased. Obviously she couldn't stand a chance against Pyro right now. But hey, didn't mean she couldn't try.

Pyro listened to Era plan and nodded. While he like the idea of a another saiyan getting more powerful then him but if it had to be anyone Fae would be a good, being he actually liked her and found her still trying even with mass different in power of opponents entertain to say the very lease.

Shortly after Fae asked how they should decide who goes first. Pyro thought for second on how to decide it. "How about this, we have a match. A special match. Meaning if you can tag me once you win but if you can't by the time they come back I win" Pyro suggested, figuring it maybe would be a good start to Fae's training.

(((I got some cool new IC lore to drop on you guys, so pay attention!))

It was time.

Era and Valkyrie gave each other a glance and a smirk of understanding as Pyro and Fae agreed to decide between themselves who would be next.

The pair approached the edge of the entrance and stood side by side before the void. Together they both took their first steps over the threshold proper and the effect of the 20x gravity shift could be seen in their hair and clothing with both being suddenly jerked towards the floor. However against the gravity both women stood tall and firm. The gravity took a brief second to adjust to, but their powers were great enough that such a level of gravity no longer bothered them.

They were perfectly at home in it.

Valkyrie took in a deep breath through her nose and let it out the same way as she smiled with her eyes closed, soaking in the promise of near infinite possibilities with open arms. Era too had closed her eyes with a soft smile on her face as she envisioned how she and Valkyrie were going to momentarily test the full might of the Super Saiyan power together.

The half-siblings opened their eyes and looked to one another once more before the air began vibrating around them. A heat-wave shimmer appeared around them as they both began emitting light before the space around them erupted in a single massive golden flame as their Super Saiyan powers burst to life simultaneously. Their auras briefly began as two distinct entities, but within moments the two auras combined forming one massive aura around the pair.

The pressure of two Super Saiyan powers in such close proximity was almost overwhelming. Even with their powers as high as they were both Fae and Pyro would feel the pressure. Since they knew Valkyrie and Era personally, this wouldn't likely intimidate them. But it would draw their attention and make them uncomfortable. When another being's Ki was strong enough to put such pressure on another, the being feeling the pressure would feel heavier as well as feeling the pressure down in their bones and internal organs. It was a very uncomfortable feeling.

Era and Valkyrie slowly ascended and turned to face one another in the air. Both of their faces were adorned with an air of confidence and excitement as they took their respective fighting stances. Valkyrie’s stance was more aggressive, sporting a slight forward lean in the torso with both it and her hips sideways and bladed making her a smaller target. Her left hand was open and forward and up halfway, floating near her waist with her right hand held slight lower around the top of her right hip in a fast. Era’s stance, meanwhile, was more relaxed. Her body was near vertical, bladed sideways as Valkyrie’s was but with both arms down with a slight bend in each. Her right arm, the one closest to Valkyrie, was bent towards Val and was open with the palm facing down while the other arm bent away behind Era’s body so it was not visible from straight on and also had an open hand with the palm down.

The two women sized each other up. While it was clear that Era held the advantage in terms of raw power, Valkyrie’s strength and experience as a cunning and relentless warrior were not to be disregarded.

With their stances set the two of them waited patiently on each other until at last they had something of a “begin!” signal in the form of a bio-electric shock which arced between their respective auras. It was a thin blue lightning-like bolt which traveled from Val’s aura to Era’s, and the moment it struck was the moment they both raced forward to engage in combat.

They met with explosive force in mid-air with their elbows colliding forward and ahead of their bodies with both combatants pushing forward for all their worth. Because Era’s power was greater she was able to slowly push Valkyrie back. But Valkyrie wasn’t one to let this get to her. Fighting against Era like this at full power and on equal footing in this space was everything she’d hoped it would be and more, and she wasn’t about to let a subtle difference in power deter her from enjoying this fight to the fullest or getting the most out of it she could. They had fifty days together in here, and this was only the first few minutes of day one.

They could both hardly wait to continue pushing themselves and their Super Saiyan powers in the days which followed.

But for now, it was time to focus on the present. With Era pushing her back, Valkyrie had to change tactics. Fighting Era head on would be a disastrous mistake. She would have to fight smarter than this if she was to overcome Era’s knowledge of her fighting style. She already knew going into this that she couldn’t risk trying the same attack twice, as Era would have already memorized it from the first time she used it and have naturally created a counter to it. So instead she decided it would be best to focus her energy on pushing a different method of attack.

Valkyrie’s assault began with a flurry of attacks which she’d practiced but never used in combat before including the use of knife-hand strikes and more dance-like kicks and spins to keep Era guessing as to where her next attack was coming from. The method was working so far with Era just managing to keep pace thanks to her power advantage. But Era was starting to slowly lose ground since she had to keep thinking and adjusting to Valkyrie’s new attack pattern. She was used to only needing those few moments of memorizing key patterns in the techniques her enemies used to push them back and wear them down, but Valkyrie never repeated the same technique twice in any regular interval. It was completely random and fluid which was something Valkyrie wasn’t really known for previously, and it definitely was catching Era off guard.

Then again, Era’s newly discovered relentless and brutal attack method was also new, so she couldn’t exactly be surprised that Valkyrie was changing and adapting to suit the needs of her situation. Rather, Era relished it. Like her, Valkyrie was evolving as a warrior in ways which would only serve to benefit her as she moved forward in life.

The two continued trading blows until Era finally began to stabilize herself against Valkyrie’s assault and stopped losing ground. Now having adjusted to the techniques Valkyrie was using, she just had to keep her eyes open for when they were used. Since Val wasn’t using any set patterns, it was all a matter of keeping alert and reacting appropriately whenever those techniques came around. Whenever Val used a knife-hand strike, Era would block it with her forearm just below the wrist with her hand open so she’d be free to either grab or snake her arm through and around to lock Valkyrie. But Val wasn’t taken so easily. Whenever Era tried a joint lock Val managed to smoothly slip free, and when Era tried to make it a grab Valkyrie was keeping herself in a position where she had mechanical advantage to wrench her arm free and use that breaking momentum to setup for another attack.

In this clash of the Super Saiyans it was a battle of will more than power, speed, or technique. Both wanted to win. Both wanted to push their Super Saiyan might to further heights. And both wanted to help push the other to further heights as well. The question was who's will to win was stronger?

Despite the power and ferocity of their conflict thus far, they were playing with one another more than sparring. It was easy to see that in their faces as they both were unable to rid themselves of their smiles and both seemed perfectly relaxed and composed despite the power they were putting out and the ferocity of their attacks.

Together they raced through the endless sky causing a golden contrail to appear almost as if they were painting the heavens with their Ki.

... If this were only a sign of how much power they were putting out, it would have been beautiful. But as it stood right now that contrail would be a rather terrifying sight if Pyro and Fae were both familiar with what it meant to see one.

For Era and Val's bodies to produce that much Ki that they would leave a contrail in their wake was much more than just a sign of just how powerful their Super Saiyan forms truly were. Normally a contrail of Ki could not be created as the Ki which escaped was so quick to dissipate and disperse itself throughout the surrounding environment. Usually this dissipation happened in less than a second. But because they were both pushing themselves so hard while in Super Saiyan form, they were now tapping into power they didn’t know they had. This power which resided deep within beneath their conscious mind's ability to perceive it was leaving a Ki contrail which took almost five full seconds to dissipate, and even once it had the Ki could still be felt there for a few extra seconds which was unheard of.

Much like Era had theorized to herself, the Super Saiyan form’s true power was not limited by either Era nor Valkyrie’s own bodily limitations. There was something more to the form and its power than met the eye. Something much deeper. And something... much darker.

Though neither Era nor Valkyrie were dark or ill-spirited Saiyans, the Super Saiyan form’s nature of being triggered by negativity meant that their power came with a hint of darkness no matter how light-hearted their current sparring match seemed to be or what kind of people they were at heart. Their smiles and confidence, as well as their obvious sisterly love, hid the subtle seething darkness beneath it all. The sense that deep down within that Ki contrail was something dangerous. Something dark and misunderstood.

It could also be seen and, more importantly, felt, whenever the two clashed and released a burst of Ki from the impact. Something about the feel of the Ki which escaped the brutal impact was… wrong. It was not felt when Era engaged the King because the King's Super Saiyan form was already overly negative and drowned out any negativity in Era's Super Saiyan power when they clashed. It also hadn't been sensed when Valkyrie first transformed because Death's power was much the same being an already dark and evil entity with Ki to match.

But it could be felt now. Two pure-hearted Saiyans engaging in a titanic struggle of epic proportions usually had Ki which was light and uplifting when one felt it. A sign of pure Ki. But now they were releasing bursts of power which held subtle hints of darkness in it with nothing to obscure the result.

As might have been expected of the overexcited Saiyans, neither Era nor Valkyrie seemed to notice this dark vibe coming from the Ki they left behind. They were so absorbed in their battle that they only cared about what they themselves were experiencing in the moment rather than what they were leaving behind. The two of them could have been battling over a black hole and they wouldn’t notice that it was there.

This would likely bring two questions to the minds of Pyro and Fae if they picked up on this dark feeling… Just what was the Super Saiyan form, really? And what was the true source of its power?

And most importantly... Could that power be trusted?

((Continuing their sparring match to its conclusion. Sorry it took me so long. We're getting a puppy tomorrow (Saturday) and it's going to get hectic for a couple days. Lol.))

Era and Valkyrie continued their battle in the skies of the Void. As they did so their powers continued steadily and slowly rising until both had surpassed their known maximum and were now pushing themselves and each other further and further by sheer force of will trying to outdo one another. The attacks they traded with one another became fiercer and the impact force grew with each passing second.

Their battle was becoming less about sparring now and more about which of the two Super Saiyans truly was superior to the other despite the fact that they were both still smiling and viewing this as a friendly match. But that was only their consciousness speaking to them. Their sisterly bond buried the raging infernos within their hearts which drove the Super Saiyan form to new heights.

Deep in their subconscious minds, both women were being ruled over by the darkness that lay at the heart of the Super Saiyan's power. Neither willing to give an inch. Neither willing to lose. No matter the cost, they both had to win. This wasn't just a sparring match to their Super Saiyan powers. This was war.

The two women continued and their battle escalated with each passing moment until at last it was forced to come to an end. The micro bot which had been following them throughout their battle sounded the alarm telling them that their thirty minutes were up, and it was time to head back to the entrance to rest and give Pyro and Fae their turns at training and testing out their limits in this almost mystical place.

The two women were rather reluctant to power down, but as they did so they began to feel the drain that the Super Saiyan form came with. Both were exhausted beyond anything they could have properly prepared for. They desperately took in deep breaths to try and get their heart rates under control, but it wasn't working. They labored to breathe and they had difficulty flying back due to the light headedness that resulted.

However they made it back within a few minutes and landed at the edge of the entry way. As their feet touched down they both knelt forward with their hands on their knees fighting to catch their breath. They were both sweating profusely and already had small puddles of it gathered around their feet within seconds of touching down which was only one sign of how drained they were.

This couldn't go on, and both of them knew it. They had to figure out how to stop the tremendous drain in stamina that the Super Saiyan form brought.

They ambled over to a set of chairs and sat down, both grabbing a drink of water from nearby before doing so. They just wanted to catch their breaths and relax for a while. Surely they'd be back to normal before long.

Faeora grinned at Pyro. His offer flaring up her competitive spirit "A game of tag, huh? Alright. I like the sound of that. A nice big open area. Just give me a few minutes to warm up. And then, we will time it until they are done." She declared... that probably was too short. She didn't doubt that Pyro was much faster than her. And the short time span only limited her chance of getting a tag in. But that was fine. Fae was wanting to put some pressure on herself, in hope that she could push herself harder. If all she was willing to do was the easy way, she couldn't push herself past the big ten. Right now she was having trouble getting stronger... that just meant she had to push herself even harder. If that was even possible.

Still, that gave her thirty minutes. Which was good for her..making because having just woke up, it would let her stretch and warm up. As well... she would get to watch two super saiyans duking it out. Having missed the fight with the King... she didn't want to miss watching this one.

So Fae would begin doing some simple stretched, like she normally did. Loosending herself up. Getting the blood flowing... however, the first distraction came as off in the distance, Era and Valkyrie began powering up. She could feel it..my it took her breath away. Like really. Literally took her breath away. So much power... making it feel almost likeep she was further into the void. She could hardly imagine how it would feel to be right beside them.... then again, if if she could tag Pyro, then she wouldn't have to imagine it. She could find out first hand.

As she warmed up, she watched as she used the two sisters began battling it out. It was... stunning. Not just the power, but the emotions and drive she could sense behind it. Drive... no it wasn't darkness that Fae interpreted, it was a drive and desire. A passion. Regardless of where that passion came from. She could see it... how badly each of them wanted to win. How much stronger they kept pushing themselves... and she wanted it. To be like that... but they were so far ahead... and she...

Faeora shook the thought from her mind. No. None of that. She would have to push forward regardless. Even if... even if she never got that strong...

Again, another shake of her head. "Alright, Captain. Let's do this. Are you ready?" She asked, starting now would get her mind off this. Getting to train would be her focus.

Faeora took her stance. Squaring off as if ready to fight... which of course she didn't have any intention of trying to hurt him. Even if she could. Just a touch would do. Speed would be her focus here.

She briefly considered starting with the Yoseishin... but she felt it best to conserve her self right now. If she used herself up here, then she couldn't train for a while and would have to let Pyro go first anyway. She would not use it for this. She had a feeling, this was gonna be a strain on her body as is.

As Fae and Pyro prepared for their bout, Valkyrie forced herself up out of her chair and moved it closer to Era so they could speak more privately and in a hushed tone that neither Pyro nor Fae could hear.

"Do you really think it'll be that easy to draw out Fae's self loathing enough to trigger a transformation?" Valkyrie whispered.

"Yes. Fae has a long and grueling history of inferiority within her family and is known as "The Weakest Faerari" among many of the more elite families. Even though her power now dwarfs that of the rest of her family combined, her reputation still haunts her deep down. I could see it in every movement of Fae's training bout with me. Even though she outwardly exudes confidence in herself during combat, you can see within her eyes that her movements are full of self-doubt and often made out of a high risk high reward mindset." Era replied.

Valkyrie nodded.

"I see. So you want to use that and shut down her every attempt at victory to push her to a more vulnerable state of mind?"

"Not just that," Era whispered.

"As cruel as it sounds, I want to drive her over the edge completely and without mercy. If we're going to trigger a transformation, we have to shut down not just her high-risk, high-reward techniques like that new one she developed after watching Elprede's power up. We also have to shut down those which have never failed her in the past such as her Ki Anchor. I already know its weakness, so it won't be that difficult. Once we've shut down all of her attempts to stay engaged in the fight, we target her mind. We act the whole time as if shutting her down was child's play. During casual conversation between ourselves whenever she's within earshot, we talk about how simple it was to overpower her, how wonderful our enormous power as Super Saiyans feels during combat, and how difficult it is to find any kind of comparison to what it's like just being a Super Saiyan."

Valkyrie nodded.

"I can see your point. But how will that be enough to trigger a transformation?" Valkyrie asked.

Era smiled.

"Because once I'm satisfied we've broken her spirit with our trash talk and demonstrations of our power, I'm going to drive a nail into the coffin and tell Faeora face to face during our sparring match that she's become a liability. That's her biggest trigger. Being a liability. Being useless. Compared to our power now, she's nothing... Yet. But I can feel it, even now. Deep within Faeora's body there's that same spark of power which allowed you and I to transform. She has the potential. She just needs that push. And having the power of her dreams tell her face to face that she's a liability will, I'm certain, be enough to trigger her transformation into a Super Saiyan."

Valkyrie sighed quietly to herself as she sat back in her chair watching the Fae and Pyro begin to square off.

"It won't be easy getting there. We'll have to tread cautiously." She said.

Era nodded in agreement.

"We'll take it slow at first. Just a casual hint here or there that Fae's 'never going to catch us.' Our sparring match just now was a good first step. And once we've planted the seed of doubt in her mind to the point where she can't shake it off, we can begin to pick up the pace."

"How will we know it's time?"

"Oh I'll know. Don't worry."

Val chuckled.

"You do know Fae better than I do. Very well. I'll follow your lead from here on out." She said.

Era nodded and returned her gaze to Faeora and Pyro.

Pyro watched the battle of the two super saiyans as Fae was doing her stretches. Even without the ability to sense power levels he could still feel the subtle dark feeling that came from each clash among est the overwhelming power. As he watched Fae asked if he was ready. Pyro turned back to her and gave subtle smile before powering up to his final form quickly. "Let's move a little bit away from the entrance then yes." Pyro said smirking after flying a little ways away from the entrance/exit.

...Okay I need to make this look good... But I still need to lose so there can be at least one super saiyan that gives the respect I deserve... Pyro thought as he landed onto the ground. "Okay Fae..." Pyro said pointing his palm at Fae. "I'm ready." Pyro finished fire a large ki blast at her. After seeing if it the shot hit it mark or not Pyro started throwing valley of ki blasts Fae. ...She should be able to dodge these... I think... could of probably thought this out more really... Pyro thought throwing the ki balls.
D. Rex D. Rex ChoShadow ChoShadow

With nod... they began.

With a quick step to the side, the large ki blasts sped past her, with almost enough force to spin her around. One wasn't so bad... but just as she began to take her first leap towards Pyro, he unleashed a barrage of them at her. This, wasn't so easy.

Blast after blast passed by her as she twisted and evaded. Sure. It did seem like she was able to handle it, as she was indeed gaining some ground despite the volley, but as fast as they were coming, it was all she could do to barely get out of their way. Theyou were coming to fast.

Eventually, one would hit. But not directly. Knowing she couldn't evade it. She summoned her ki to her hand and with considerable effort, deflected the attack upwards and away. This, while sparring her the pain of getting blasted, had taken away her speed and momentum for that instant. And another blast was on its collision course.

Rather than deflecting this one, she fired a quickly charged blast at it. Causing it to exploded in flash and smoke. Knowing she couldn't stay in the path of volley for much longer, Pyros blasts were too strong foe her to withstand tanking, she used the cover of the explosion to rocket up and out of the line of fire.

Speeding off, flying in an arc over it, hoping to gain a little more ground in the small amount of time it might take Pyro to reorient his attacks. This wasn't the most splendid start... and if this pattern continued, she might end up having to use the Yoseishin after all. Even if Pyro didn't look like he was trying that hard at the moment.

ChazGhost ChazGhost ChoShadow ChoShadow

"Ohh clever" Pyro said as Fae fired at a ki blast to make explode and provide cover for her. He stopped the valley momentarily as he began looking side to side trying to find Fae. He floated back slowly as he searched. Soon though he realized that Fae went above. "To the air I see" Pyro said floating up.

"Ready for the next round of ki blasts?" Pyro said smirking holding ki balls in his hand. ...I'll throw them a bit slower this time around... Pyro thought before beganing the second round throwing a valley of ki balls. They were throw a bit slower so there was less to dodge.

Era and Valkyrie continued observing Pyro and Fae's bout sitting side by side so they could speak to one another silently without Fae or Pyro hearing, not that there was much danger of that given how loud the battle was with the Ki blasts and explosions.

"What would you say is the best way to approach Fae's development? Given her temper and her quick trigger, I would imagine that a slow and methodical approach would be best. If we trigger her too fast she might figure out what we're doing and see it as pity or charity, neither of which she'd want and she may refuse to train with us and then our goal is out of reach for that much longer."

Era was gently stroking her chin with her index finger, deep in thought.

"... It's going to require both in carefully timed bursts. After observing our sparring match, I guarantee you she's thinking about what it must be like to have this kind of power. That's part of the slow-burn method already, so our methods are paying off as is. The next time we engage Fae should be a quick trigger. Just enough to further drive her into despair about never catching up. And I think I know just the way to do it, though it's going to require a bit of a sacrifice on our parts."

"I'm already questioning that idea then."

"It's not that bad. It's just going to push us that much further into exhaustion is all."

Era glanced to Valkyrie.

"You can feel it, can't you? That sense of endless depth to our power supply when in Super Saiyan form?"

"I have felt it, yes. But why? Why is it there? Our bodies certainly have limits, so why does this feeling of endless depth exist?"

"I have a feeling it's because the Super Saiyan power itself has no limits. Ever since we fought the First God in the vault, I had a feeling the original Super Saiyan's power was limitless. How else would they have battled a God to mutual destruction?"

"So our bodies essentially are just playing catch-up to that power?"

"Exactly. However our bodies are strong, and I have a feeling we've only scratched the tiniest spec of the surface as to what we're truly capable of as Super Saiyans. To that end, I suggest that tomorrow you and I take a bit of a drastic leap of faith in ourselves and our bodies by not sparring, but powering up until we cannot power up any further. We'll know when we've hit our ceiling because our bodies will start reacting to it. We didn't hit a limit today during our sparring match despite pushing each other past what we thought was our limit, so I know we have more to offer."

"So how does that help or affect Fae? Surely she knows that the Super Saiyan form is stronger than you and I have made it look thus far, right?"

"Oh she knows. Fae is smart, and she'll have guessed already that you and I are only beginning to tap our potential which will already be another thorn in her mind. Our base forms are growing slower and slower, but our Super Saiyan powers are being pushed further and further. This means she's stuck while we continue to progress. And by simply powering up beyond our limits and pushing our bodies to their extremes, she will be able to sense the magnitude of our power and it will drive her further into jealousy and despair about never being able to catch us."

"... I see. But if we do this then we may be out of action for an entire day or more depending on how draining it is on our
bodies."

"A small price to pay for helping Fae become a Super Saiyan."

Valkyrie smiled.

"True. She's overdue to reach this level given all she's done not only for herself, but for us as well."

Era nodded.

"Then we agree. Tomorrow is not about sparring, but simply about powering up until our bodies can't handle it anymore as a means not only to test the limits of our bodies, but to drive Fae further into her jealousy about how much power she's missing out on."

"Agreed, though I still feel bad for Fae at the moment that we're doing this to her. But I'll feel better when she gets her hands on this power as well and can again spar with us on even ground. She always was the most durable among us, so the sooner we get her on par with us the better. We'll need her when and if we encounter the Darkhoods and Omnizwart again."

"Definitely."

And with that, their conversation was over. They observed the bout between Fae and Pyro with great interest, as they also had plans for Pyro himself to help bring him up to their level as well. But for now Fae was their primary concern. Saiyans take care of their own, and Pyro was already no slouch. He'd catch up to them in his due time, but they would definitely lend a hand when and if necessary.

After she cleared the smoke, she never took her eyes off him. Her arms up in a guard as she had expected more ki blasts to follow... but... no... At first she figured that he was just giving her a pity break. But as she watched him look about... she realized he couldn't sense her. This was quite the surprising revelation to her. She always figured he wore the scouter for the same reason she did, for communication. But... this was just speculation. One instance wasn't enough to rely on. And even if he couldn't sense her ki, it wouldn't take much for him still counter attempts to try and hide.

She was able to close a little ground before he spotted her. "Bring it on!" She challenged, as she charged up her own ki into her hands. She sped towards him again. Expecting a barrage of intensity equal to the first... but no. This time it was slower. Making it easier to dodge without being overwhelmed.

While her mind wanted to go to that he was going easy on her... a different though took priority. That he was up to something. Waiting for her to get closer before he would lock on with something harder to avoid. She would just use this against him!

She slung her ki blasts, from throw, numerous small ki blasts shot forth like miniature volleys. While she dodged a few of Pyro's, she was also shooting the ones ahead of her. Obscuring her once more in smoke and flashes of exploding ki. But she didn't stop firing. If he got a bead on her, she wouldn't be able to handle this so easily.

Even as she was obscured, she still fired her little volleys. Aiming for the ki blasts, rather than pyro. Though of course one or two strays would unintentionally wiz by him.

She clenched her teeth, and activated her Yoseishin. Doing what she could to keep up her pattern despite the immediate stress that struck her body. It was almost time.

Aiming for the ki blasts soon after leaving Pyros hands. Fire. Fire. Blast. Dodge. Blast. Nothing... for a brief moment there was nothing.

It was here she made her move. Attempting to make it look like she once more fled the zone of the volley, but instead... she was still there. And hopefully timing it to Pyro looking around, she burst forth from the smoke. A purple aura around Fae as the Yoseishin doubled her speed to help her facilitate this hopefully unexpected blitzkrieg.

Hopefully. Even with the yoseishin, she knew that she couldn't out speed Pyro on his worst day. And if he could sense energy, she was a sitting duck. But high risk high reward.

ChazGhost ChazGhost ChoShadow ChoShadow

Fae was putting up a very good fight. Granted though Pyro was not trying but even so Fae impressed Pyro with her tactics of using the smoke from ki blast hitting each other as cover to avoid Pyro from seeing her. He wasn't certain if she knew he couldn't sense energy but he wasn't about to ask in the middle of a battle. Though he found out the answer soon after. Fae used the smoke cloud and the knowledge that Pyro couldn't sense her as chance she needed. With high speeds Fae burst from the cloud. When Pyro noticed the charge it was to late, she was moving to fast for Pyro to dodge. So Pyro did what he could and blocked. Even though he was about to so this little training match Pyro was smiling.
D. Rex D. Rex ChoShadow ChoShadow

Panting, her fist blocked by Pyro part of her reflexively wanting to break through the assault with demolition fist, but like usual, she held herself back, just in case.... she just stared at him a few moments. The purple aura around her ceased to be produced, and flared out before disappearing. She chuckled to herself as she caught her breath. With a grin, she said to him. "Tagged you." She proclaimed.

She floated backwards a bit. That wasn't so bad. Yes, she was a little winded. But she pushed herself for this. She felt like one might after a simple sprint. But she felt good. She hadn't expected to have been able to do it like that. Surely it was a fluke, but she wouldn't knock her luck. As she probably couldn't do it again if she tried.

Yes. Fae was a good fighter, and she was used to needing to punching above her weight. She was just easy to dismiss her skills because she was normally always weaker than everyone else. But Pyro was, too far beyond her in strength for simple skill in fighting to make much difference.

Still, fluke or not. It did help boost her confidence. Definitly gave her something that she would use to fuel her to get even better. She smiled back at him. "I know. Just a lucky shot." She admitted, downplaying herself, but not negatively so. To her, it was the logical reason she had even been able to do it. "But it still counts."
