Carmen came back as they were getting him to sign papers and all she had to do was help him get changed into the clothes Wayne bought before driving them home, trying to ignore the way people were staring at them in her car while she drove through town.

Eddie gave him a small nod "I promise Wayne." He said before he left. He gave Carmen a small smile and got ready to go with her. "Wayne told us to stay home, so you wanna watch some movies?" He asked on the ride trying to distract her.

She just nodded a little, finally pulling up outside his trailer to see the Henderson kid there with everyone else from hellfire and carmen just got out, going straight past everyone to go inside.

Dustin saw the car finally pull up and went over hugging Eddie tightly. “We thought you were a goner man. Jason was bragging all day about how he’d taken care of you for good.” He frowned. “Is she okay? Eddie sighed heavily as they got back. He smiled some at Dustin giving a small nod "Can't take me out that easiely." He said before glaring over at Gareth. He went over and clutched the collar of his shirt before putting him against the trailer "Just because we're friends doesn't mean you get to say shit like that." He growled "I will kill you." He said in a low voice. He looked over hearing Dustin's pleas to stop. He let go of Gareth and sighed heavily.

Carmen finally came out a little while later seeing Eddie sat on the porch with them all and just sat next to him, leaning into him quietly with one of his shirts on and some sleep shorts. “I think we need to go to bed guys.” She told them all, gently tugging on eddies arm.

Eddie was sat on the little porch with the guys frowning some "Alright men, you heard the lady." He said before saying his goodbyes and going in with Carmen. He went to bed with sighing some "You okay?"

She frowned and just watched him, shrugging a little. “Get some rest. You gotta go talk to the school tomorrow. You missed your finals and I’m just hoping they cut you some slack.” She muttered, rubbing her face a little, reaching up to turn the light out. “Cause I can’t stay here anymore.” She mumbled as she drifted off with him.

Eddie nodded some and took a deep breath. He barely slept that night just thinking about everything that happened recently. He was cursing himself and just hoped what he had saved up could help them get out. He woke up the next morning leaving her a note and getting out quickly to try and work something out with the school

Carmen was doing as promised and staying in the trailer, taking the time to clean up and start organising through their things but mostly trying to sleep it all off until the phone rang and she jumped up to get it, “hello?” She asked down the line. “Munson residence.”

Eddie smiled happily when he heard Carmen's voice "Hey there beautiful. Wanted to let you know I'm gonna be home late. Finally got them to break and let me take the tests." He explained to her. He was nervous to take them.but he knew he had to pass if he was going to keep Carmen.

She just nodded to herself. “That’s good Eddie… I’m glad.” She murmured. “Just do your best alright?” She murmured, chewing on her lip. “I’ll see you later okay?” She mumbled down the line and hung up, still stressed and just not feeling safe.

Eddie gave a small sigh as she hung up and went on with his day. He got home late like he had said and made his way inside the trailer. His head hung low as he saw Carmen on the couch "Hey..." he said quietly

She frowned a little and looked up, reaching for him to come closer and held him tight. “There’s leftovers in the fridge. You hungry?” She asked him quietly, holding him to her while she had him lay between her legs. “How’d it go?”

Eddie moved to lay between her legs and gave a heavy sigh "I uh....shit Carmen I'm sorry.." he said quietly before hiding his face in her stomach trying to keep up the cerade for a moment.

She frowned and just ran her fingers through his hair. “Well.,, we could do long distance couldn’t we?” She mumbled hating the idea of leaving him here but she had to get out.

Eddie took a deep breath shaking his head some "No....no long distance is death to us." He mumbled before he looked up at her unable to keep it up anymore. He smiled wide at her as he noticed her upset face "I told you this was my year right? '86 baby!"

She paused for a minute before shaking her head and pulling him up close, kissing him desperately. “I hate you so much sometimes Edward Munson.” She giggled, tangling her fingers in the back of his hair.

Eddie kissed her just as desperately and smiled wide against her lips "Soon as I run off that stage we're getting out of here." He said happily resting his hands on her hips

Eddie tensed at the mention of his mother and gave a small nod but said nothing. She was definitely a sore subject for the metalhead and he did not like talking about her. He looked at her and gave a small smile before getting up "You said leftovers in the fridge?" He asked trying to change the subject.

Carmen walked into their apartment sighing heavily as she glanced over at the bills piling up on the side, sitting through them again before pushing them to the side for now and wandered through to their bedroom seeing Eddie flat out and snoring, just frowning a little, nudging him awake. “Hey… how come you’re not at work?” She questioned him, having just got in from a ‘waitressing’ shift is what she had told him but only because she was embarrassed at the truth

Eddie grumbled some before waking up seeing Carmen there. He gave a heavy sigh before he sat up running a hand over his face "They switched my schedule. I go in tomorrow." He muttered looking up at her. These past years had been hard, he had gone through numerous jobs and his band was almost at a stand still. They were still trying to find their big break and he was hopeful it would come sooner rather than later, he didn't know how much longer he could do this mechanic shit that he was currently doing.

She sighed a little but nodded and went to take a shower before coming back to lay with him and smiled some feeling him wrap his arms around her. “So I was looking at places in Chicago yesterday… good work there for both of us… better music scene.” She told him, playing with his fingers. She loved him the same she always had but she’d seen him losing motivation the last year and it was breaking her heart a little.
