Silas grunted a bit when Arthur fell on him, What! he was heavy! But then he found himself freezing at the closeness. The warmth coming from Arthur was nice. He... He liked this. But then Arthur was rolling away and he couldn't help but find his own chuckles as he listened to Arthur laugh. Arthur's hand soon reached for his, And Silas found his cheeks darkening as he laced his fingers with Arthur. This was a nice spot to watch the stars. Maybe not the safest and people would surely give them odd looks if they noticed. But Silas didn't find him caring that much. Scooting closer to his companion. He went silent.
Then Arthur was talking and Silas turned his gaze to him. Had he seen a sight so beautiful? No, He didn't think so. Arthur was beautiful. And he soon breathed. "No... I... " Stars! They were talking about stars! Not men. But Silas thought Arthur was a far more interesting view. They were so near, This closeness... It was something Silas craved. He was lonely, A lot. But right now? He wasn't. He barely realized he had leaned closer. Him and Arthur was friends, But perhaps tonight he wished for something more then that? Except that was unknown territory. Silas was normally confident. But would things change if he acknowledged these feelings? Not in a teasing way, In a real way. Probable.
Maybe it was that fear of change that made him stop, To not do what he wished and kiss Arthur. Or maybe it was that lingering hope of being with Lance? Maybe it was the public location. It could have been a lot of things. Silas had plenty of excuses he'd be able to think up. Reasons not too. So he didn't. He dragged his eyes away from Arthur and sat up. Admiring the stars for a moment. A certain regret hanging in his chest. But he pushed it down. He was too drunk to think about this. So instead he mused. "Mm... Its cold... Lets go find a inn. " Sure, Adventuring sounded fun. But Silas suddenly felt rather tired. Then again. Maybe curling up in the snow wouldn't be so bad. They probable wouldn't freeze to death!
