I Put A Spell On You

"Sorry, Ron.... I just thought dark magic was just connected to the moon. Like light with sun." She explained feeling guilty for asking. In truth she didn't know why she asked, just the idea came to her mind." Ok... Something else then. Water manipulation I guess."

"Not that come in mind as of yet."She said after thinking about it for a moment."Also i think we should prepare to go to my village. We might need to get to the nearby town for supplies."

Ronnak nodded and he stood up, takiing his staff. When she turned around, he looked at her for a split second before blushing, putting his staff on his back and yawning.

"I should still have some coin left to me from my parent. I havent used anymore since i left home..."She said before shacking her robe pockets."I changed robes so many times recently i am not sure if they transferred over. Kinda wish we had a money making spell..."She mattered as she searched for the coins. "shit, only two silver coins."

Ronnak chuckeld and he laid his hand on the coins. They glowed and suddenly duplicated tenfolkd, giving her roughly twenty silver coins. He smiled, "Thtere."

"Heh, arent you full of surprised Ronnak."She said with a sly smirk trying to keep the coins in her hand as they multiplied."You always find a way to impress me."She divided the coins between the two of them and walked towards the exit."Come one lets go then."

Ronnak blushed heavily and he whispered, "Living on your own for a couple years kinda does that to you. You really don't have anything else to do but study." He blushed and gently walked outside.

She smirked at his look and reply, though that soon disappeared when she stepped out into the light. The sun seemed brighter and hotter then what it should have been and was overbearingly uncomfortable for her. She frowned putting on a hood which gave her a small amount of comfort."Oh god... Like Winter changed to hot summer overnight. "

Ronnak blushed a little and he took her hand a little, helping her to the top of the ridge. It was a ltitle cold, yet it was still much warmer than anything else. He helped her down the mountain.

"Thanks..."She said nearing the edge of the mountain, the village visible ahead. She felled tired but not from the walk feeling her energy feeling absorbed by the sun though she tried to soldier on. When they reached the village, she felt self conscious feeling all eyes on them. She hoped it was some form of recognition of Ronnak by the older resident rather then her connection to hillin in what happened earlier.

Ronnak smiled to the villagers and he soon got into a conversation with one of the leaders. After explaning, he smiled and got them a hut to rest for a few hours.

Minerva tried to calm herself and while Ronnak talked to the chief she went to get some supplies for the two of them. Once done she met Ronnak outside the chiefs hut."Hey, is all set?" She asked before gaining a look from their leader.

"You were seen in the company of the Dark one Hillin. Werent you?" He said.

"Yes..."

He frowned and turned his head at Ronnak." You failed to mention you were with her. Hillin and his cronies threatened our village and extorted supplies from us."

Ronnak blinked and he sat down with the chief, "It's fine, she was his slave. Hillin forced her to serve him. When they found me, I managed to free her. Hillin is dead."

"That may be, however this is will make my people uncomfortable,"He said and Minerva could tell he was unconvinced. "Do you business and you have the hut but i suggest you leave as soon as possible. If you will excuse me." He walked back into his house.

Minerva looked down and walked on upset." I wasnt a slave... I knew what was happening."

Ronnak looked at her and he nodded, "I know that, but it's better for all of us that they think you're a slave. It's... use of tricky language."

"It's not that..."She went to say instantly irritated by the fact he didnt understand her guilt and frowned for a moment at him. However, he didnt want to make an issue off it so just sighed and shook her head. "Lets just... I got some supplied but i am not sure what else we might need. Lets get what we need and just go before we outstay our welcome."

Ronnak nodded and he hugged her, "I understand, trust me. If you try yo ucan read my mind. i can sense your feelings... okay I just realized how dumb that sounded." He blushed hard, "Sorry."

"No... It fine." Minerva said burying her head in his shoulder when he hugged her, feeling her irritation melt away and replaced with comfort. "I get what you are trying to say... I feel guilty as all three years under Hillin i led a lot of things slide... I know i am working towards doing good but still feel like a rat."

"Easier said then done but thanks." He said looking up at him and smiled but feeling slightly embarrassed as some amorous thoughts about him, touched by his care of her. She looked away."Damn share thoughts... Cant maintain a proper image."

"Maybe its not so bad if you did..."She said smirking cheekily before kissing his cheek before pulling away."Maybe a more private and quite time, we have a journey to take and people watching."

Ronnak blushed brilliant crimson. He gulped, "M-Maybe L-Later." He walked outside and he quickly walked up to the top of the hill, sitting down and shivering, "... Damn she's so hot.... GAH stop it stupid brain!" He hissed, "Why isn't ther ea spell to get rid of lust..?"
