As for what I would like to happens overnight, please put three items here for a quick montage of the night.

For Randal, I would like him to receive healing from Bunny,

- Secure shelter and take turns on nightwatch
- talk about the weird inbetween place before falling
- discuss everyone abilities magic or not

I will take care of the montage. We can iron out what happened overnight here while we continue to the next morning. Assume that everyone has managed to eat something and get some rest. The smoke we were heading towards is a village of corrupted goblins. The corruption is a plant that has latched onto the goblins. It has woven itself into the goblins and they are now in a symbiotic relationship. The Goblin fuels the plant, and the plant strengthens the goblin. A side effect is that the goblins are extremely aggressive towards creatures that have not been corrupted.

We have two more rounds of posting to get us through this challenge, so we get one post of set up and one of action If we can get into action within the first post, even better. Be decisive in your posts and add details to the world around you to be successful. Need a weapon? Give them to the goblins and then get a hold of one. Need a place to hide? Spot one and make use of it. Need an idea of how to use your power? Go ahead and ask the group! We will need to work together to make this work, but I believe we can make it happen.

When I was looking at Center of Mass Manipulation which was apart of the Perfect Balance power I was sent, the l ability to jump/leap great lengths was in it. Do you think that would be possible and I could use it to follow the group? Coryen2 and anyone else who may have an opinion what do you think?

 

[Idea]

It could make it easier to move while keeping his body down as the terrain shifts with bumps and stuff, so he stays hidden while following. He’ll probably be slower than the group basically crawling to follow them, but if he sees the message Kona left behind for him he may be able to go in the same direction and make up for the difference in speed by continuing to walk through the night.

In my mind, someone with perfect balance could walk, run, or leap as silently as they wished. Imagine, just at the point of contact from a really long fall (or remarkably high jump) that you suddenly threw all of your weight upwards as your toes made contact with the ground. The force of impact could be practically nullified. Then, there is also the fact that most people don't actually look up. You might have to contend with a bird shaped person, perhaps, but it sounded like he was rather interested in being in human form at the end of the last post. I say play with your powers however you see fit, and we can handwave the fact that no one other than Kona is aware of your existence.

Idea is 100% correct. Holidays threw everything into disarray. My work schedule was moved 4 hours earlier on a temporary basis, which has ruined my sleep schedule and leaves me crashing at like 5pm when I get home. I will have a post out in the next 24 hours though. Sorry to worry you BuggaBoo

Mina spent some time at night experimenting with her ability and made several torches out of branches and grass that strike easily (like oversized matches),so feel free to incorporate that into your character's actions and narration if you see fit.

would anyone like to collaborate in an attack with Sora? A giant peacock on its own isn't anything super crazy other than the claws, and maybe picking up goblins and dropping them from high up.

I don't know how a coordinated attack would work from my character, but I would like to remind you that you can also use partial shifting...So, for example, you could keep the human form and use the talons as a natural weapon to strike. You could grow out feathers to try to soften blows. You could turn your hair into the proud tail-feathers and have a crown to just be awesome looking, etc.

If Nellancholy were up for it, I think the two of you working together could make for a neat duo...sort of like a two headed dragon strategy?

No, like Sora being the airplane/pilot and Mina being the flamethrower/gunner

I don't know why my brain said "from below" but that's what I meant, shooting fire downward from above.

Gotcha. Since this is a very short RP, my rule of thumb for realism is to interject only as much as needed to make things function. So if you want Sora to get burnt you can, otherwise, Mina has some flame resistance that comes with her firebreath and would be between the flames and Sora in the first place. If you want to deal with flames or smoke or flying projectiles to make your story more interesting, go for it!
