Fantasy Hybrid, Magic Camp

Sarthiss cocked his head at her. "When was the last time you ate? Aren't you hungry?" Sarthiss made a motion to the path down to the stream. "Lunch isn't in an hour, do you want to catch some fish?"

Eevee stopped, she hadn't eaten in days, but she never had a hungry feeling. She shivered and avoided Sarthiss's gaze. "Uh...I'm fine.." She said, then started to walk again, putting her hands in her jacket pockets.

"Allrighty." Sarthiss watched her go. "I uh, need to check in... With some things... So I'll see you around kay?" He was refering to Leroy, to find out a bit more about what he knew about the other children of the air, maybe something of note about the mysterious new girl.

Eevee nodded and sat on the ground, and as soon as he left, played with the fire, even thought she said she wasn't gonna use it, she meant around him. She laid it on the ground and concentrated so that it didn't spread without her letting it.

Sarthiss found Leroy eating with a table of other air children. When Sarthiss clapped him on the back and sat down next to him, he choked, turning around and coughing half-chewed food on the ground. "So bud, you find anything out about the new girl?" Leroy caught his breath and nodded. "I... yea... She's weird." Sarthiss made a go on gesture. "She... uh... She keeps to herself most of the time, I don't think she'll really bother anybody, she's kinda just... dissapeared for the most part. The only time I see her is when we go to eat, then she just grabs her food and leaves..." Sarthiss nodded. "Good. Thanks bruh. I wo't puch you in the face again if you keep your hands to yourself, allright?" Leroy nodded. "Good, good." Sarthiss got up and cracked his back. "Same goes for yall's muthafuggas," He said waving around at the other children of air. The looks on their faces were priceless. "Seeya later."

Sarthiss walked out of the dining hall and smoke-dashed to the top of a tree. He had pretty precarious footing, but he could stay there fine. The sun shone off him, he enjoyed the sun. Finding the most comfortable position, he settled in, an down, and watched the camp from this vantage point.

Eevee had managed to control the fire for the most part, but it usually went out quickly the more she concentrated. As she was watching another black ball of flames, it burnt out and her ear twitched in annoyance. 'What am I doing?' She questioned. It was better for her to just rest and leave her frustration out of it, laying down, closing her eyes, and started to fall asleep.

Sarthiss began humming 'violet hill'. He enjoyed this song, it reminded him of the first winter he had spent alone before the camp picked him up. He swung back and forth gently from the top of the tree, shaking a few birds and an angry squirrel from their positions. "Fuck you too mate," he laughed at the squirrel as it jabbered at him.

Eevee fell into a dream about her past, which caused her to twitch. She was sitting by the pond again, but it was darker and during the full moon, just like the night Sarthiss told her about how the rays emitting from the moon can burn most fire children. She saw the way the rays bounced off of the water, then the occasional ripple as a leaf fell from the trees above her. It was actually more peaceful then the last time she was there, calming her down. However, her peace-filled moment was soon interrupted when a person came out of the trees behind her, but it wasn't her mother, it was Jack. The Neko growled and he didn't seem intimidated, stepping forward, making her step back. Eventually, she slipped and fell into the water just as Jack smirked at her, a devilish smile. Her eyes shot open and she was in the forest. Wiping the grass off of her jacket as she sat up, she looked around and noticed a squirrel was gathering food for the fall and upcoming winter.

Sarthis rocked a bit too hard and the branch he was siting on broke. He managed to hook himself onto another, but his shirt caught on the branch above him. He wasn't stuck, he could smoke-dash back down to the ground, but his weight was distributed evenly and he wasn't in any pain. He swung gently in the breeze, smelling the sweet scent of the wood. It wasn't green, fall was upon them after all. For the moment, unless something happened, he was content to hang by his shirt from the tree, watching the leaves below twist and dance in the wind.

Eevee heard a snap in the distance, but ignored it and just tried the fire out again, laying it on the ground and watching it intently, careful to not think about anything other than the tiny flame, and blocking out everything else out as best as she could. It was a bit hard to keep everything out of her mind if her ears picked up every single thing that moved or made sound.

Sarthiss sighed happily. He was as close to the sun as possible, he was comfortable (he enjoyed having the fabric of his shirt pressed close to his chest, it was the company of himself. A bit sad, but no matter.) The strong fall winds blew a little harder, shaking the branch a bit and causing his shirt to rip slightly. "Shit." Sarthiss couldn't see the tear, but he could feel it. He didn't want to leave his nice little spot, so he left it as it was. The only problem was one of the birds he shook out of the tree earlier flew about his head, chirping threateningly. "Fuck off." He grunted. The bird didn't let up chirping, but sat on a branch closeby, hopping this way and that, making angry and agressive neck movements at Sarthiss.

Eevee could hear the chirping of the birds, but they didn't sound happy. She was pulled out of her little concentration and the flame died out rather quickly. She looked to where the noise was coming from, but didn't see anything other than the mass of trees that towered over her. She shrugging it off and went back to what she was doing.

Sarthiss managed to wave the bird away so that it flew off, but this ripped his shirt further. He fell, smacking on branches as he did. Sarthiss surrounded himself with warm air, cusioning the blows, but he did land on his back extremely hard. His vision blackened a bit, so he lay there limbs spread helter skelter. His vision cleared and his ears stopped ringing, so he could see the bird perched on a stump two feet away, crowing triumphantly. "Gettin' tired of your shit," Sarthiss groaned, shooting a fireball that set the bird aflame, killing it, its corpse knocked back and out of sight by the sudden outburst. He lay there a bit, wheezing, the wind knocked out of him, giving himself a minute or two to recuperate.

Once again, she was brought of of her concentrated state to hear a thud, and a bird chirping in triumph. She groaned in anger and stood up, walking over to where she had heard it, a tiny flame flicking at the end of her fingers. She didn't care that it was there, and as she came through the trees to find the source of the noise, she saw Sarthiss on the ground, then smelled burnt flesh and looked over to see a bird that must have been burned by him. She noticed that he was breathing heavier than normal, and crossed her arms. "What the hell were you doing?" She asked in a half unamused, half obvious tone.

Sarthiss wheezed and looked at Eevee. "Bitch got what was coming to him." Sarthiss tried to sit up a bit, then fell back down, head thumping a bit. "I... Fell out of a tree... Pretty high up." He groaned. He tried to sit up again and made it, abs straining, His shirt floated down and caught on the limb above him, flitting this way and that in the wind. He grunted and shook himself, trying to shake the shocked feeling out of his head.

"I wasn't talking about the bird...." She stated and walked over to him, sitting down at his side and using her arm as a little support, leaning back a bit and looking at him with a small smile. "But you're alright, right?"

"Yea, I'm fine." Sarthiss waved her off, standing shakily. "I found a nice tree, then a branch broke and I was hanging from my shirt..." Realizing he was shirtless, he snatched the tattered remains of his t-shirt from the tree above. "And that broke too..." He put it on, but the shirt didn't cover much, it was ripped along the chest, hanging down, and multiple gashes ran along the back. Sarthiss was pretty banged up himself, a few scratches here and there, but none too deep. "I used some hot air as a cushion, that's why I don't have a broken back."

Eevee stood and put a hand on her hip. "As long as you're OK." She smiled and started for her spot in the woods again. "I'll go back to where I was earlier if you want some alone time." She said, motioning towards the other part of the woods.

Sarthiss grinned at her demeanor. "Ooo, you make me smile when you're sassy!" Sarthiss caught up to her. "You know me, I don't need time alone. Nobody should if they have you as a significant other." He said romantically.

"Aw! Your so sweet." She replied with a soft smile. She continued to walk to the spot that she was originally sitting at, but was too restless to sit down or do nothing.

Sarthiss put a hand around her waist. "You're sweeter. Seriously, you should know that. You must be blind, to me you're the most amazing person in the world, and you can't see it."

Eevee shrugged innocently. "I'm blind to most things pertaining to myself." She looked at him, putting a hand on his and entwining their fingers. She smiled at him and pulled one ear halfway down, doing the innocent look that she gives him when he compliments her.

Sarthiss grinned and stroked her cheek with the back of his other hand. "It's about three o'clock sweetheart, this is around the time you take a nap." Sarthiss said, recalling her sleeping schedule. "Wolf seems on planning to sleep all day. Should we follow suit?" After the incident of sparring, Sarthiss was eager to spend some down time with Eevee.

Eevee wasn't aware that Sarthiss was keeping track of when she fell asleep. "Actually, I'm wide awake. Can't sleep now." She said, hoping that he wouldn't keep track of these times for much longer.

Sarthiss cocked his head. "Allrighty." He stood there awkwardly. "Well. I had a talk with leroy. Him and most of the air children tried to find stuff out about the new girl. I think she uses shadows, but I'm not 100% certain."
