Fantasy Hybrid, Magic Camp

[shyland]

Oh shade says as she gets off the ground and she looks back at the girl whose staring at here h-hi

 

[Eevee Shadow]

Eevee snapped out of her thoughts as she hears the girl say hi and shakes her head a bit, relieving her of the questions she had. "Hi..." She said quietly. Eevee then looked at Sarthiss and back at the cabin. "I'm just gonna go into the woods for a while...." And with those words, she jumps into a tree and travels into the woods surrounding the still closed camp grounds, leaving Sarthiss and the girl alone while she gets some time to practice the black fire trick she learned.

 

[shyland]

Shade watches the girl as she leaves then turns back to the boy so what's your name shade asks softly

 

[Alstromeria]

Sarthiss extended his hand, some flames winding around his thumb and up his arm. He extinguished them and shook her hand. "I'm Sarthiss." He said.

 

[shyland]

Nice to meet you shade shakes sarthiss's hand

 

[Eevee Shadow]

Eevee jumped from the trees, going someplace she has never visited before. She never went to the back of her cabin, ad now that she did, it was much more interesting. As she jumped from branch to branch, the forest started to get thinker and more trees were closer together. Eventually, she had to walk because the leaves obstructed her vision and she couldn't tell what was ahead. She continued to walk, but came to an opening with small bushes and tall grass. She sat down in the middle and plucked a patch in her hands, using the other to create the flame and held it close. On contact, the blade of grass combusted with the same color and then disappeared into ash. She continued this, experimenting with how much energy she could put into the fire.

 

[Alstromeria]

Sparks snapped around Sarthiss's neck. He recoiled his hand, she was a child of the shadows, he could tell. Another had shown up at the camp so soon? "Yee." Sarthiss's gaze turned icy, he needed to find out more of what was going on here. Shade didn't seem dangerous, she just stuck her nose in places it didn't belong. "So," he said, snapping his fingers at wolf, who was sleeping currently to get his attention, "What do you like most about the camp so far?" then to wolf telepathically; 'Pay attention. Another child of the shadows is here.'

 

[Eevee Shadow]

Wolf woke up slowly, yawning as he heard Sarthiss's voice echo in his ears. 'I never get any sleep when you're around.......'

 

[shyland]

Shade looks at the wolf and pets his head " the Forrests and the trees as you can't tell " shade says giggling slightly

 

[Alstromeria]

Sarthiss nodded. "Yea, I like them too. I have a few places I hang out where nobody ever goes. But maybe they don't go ther because I'm there." Sarthiss laughed, baring his teeth, "Alot of the children of the air are afraid of me." Sarthiss cast a glance at Leroy who was sitting on a bench nearby. Leroy got up and walked away quickly. 'Wolf,' he communicated, 'I'm not sure what to think of this person. But one thing's sure, nobody's getting any sleep if I don't figure out why he's here.' Sarthiss cocked his head at Shade. "So where ya from?" he asked, "Everyone's got a story. Let's hear yours."

 

[Eevee Shadow]

Wolf jumped up and growled slightly at the girl who giggled at him. She was another Shadow user as Sarthiss said, but he only knew of Eevee having that ability, bu he also knew that it was possible for another person to have the same power as everyone else. It was still kinda rare that a shadow bender was here, then another thought came to him, Why is Sarthiss bossing him around? He dismissed his questioning phase and moved on to what was laid out in front of him. A new girl, Eevee in the woods most likely, and Sarthiss not saying a whole lot.

 

[shyland]

" oh no where in particular especially when being in the foster system " shade eyes turned wolfish as the wolf growled at her then changed back as she looked back at sarthiss. " but I guess the happens when your family is murder by your own father

 

[Alstromeria]

Sarthiss raised his hands apologetically. "You don't have to elaborate, but I'm here if you want to." Sarthiss looked at wolf. 'sorry if i'm coming across as sharp man, but children of shadows don't seem to get along well. I want to keep Eevee safe.'

 

[Eevee Shadow]

Wolf rolled his eyes a bit. 'That's all the time with you. Has it ever occurred to you that maybe Eevee can take care of herself? She's not as helpless as people make her out to be.' Wolf glanced at the forest where Eevee had gone to, the turned back to Sarthiss with a angry glare. 'Plus. She's a cat. they can be pretty aggressive when they need to be.'

 

[Alstromeria]

'I'll be dead when that situation arises.' Sarthiss shot back. He turned his attention back to Shade. "It might be good if you didn't tell people that. They don't like to hear about death and shit."

 

[shyland]

Oh sorry I didn't mean to sound rude" shade says apologeticly " I know that we usual don't but I'm willing to try"shade says softly shade looks at the wolf who seams angery

 

[Alstromeria]

Sarthiss smiled. "Naww, it's not that much of a problem, just don't focus on it too much." Sarthiss turned to leave, "Just don't mess with anybody and you'll be fine, haha." Sarthiss decided to check in with leroy, see what he thought of him. "I'll seeya."

 

[Eevee Shadow]

Wolf decided to test the boundaries a little, smirking slightly at Sarthiss. 'Good for you. And then I'll make sure to be there.' He noticed the girl staring at him with an angry expression on her face, then he stared back at her, never letting his guard down.

 

[shyland]

Shade asked the wolf in its own language " why are here at the camp with the man and the girl "

 

[Eevee Shadow]

((Wolf speaks English.))


Wolf growled at the girl again and didn't respond to her for a bit, but not to be rude, he used his classical way of communicating through thought. 'I'm here with them because the girl is my master now because she saved me, and the boy is her friend.'

 

[shyland]

" oh well that makes sense " shade response telepathically

 

[Alstromeria]

Sarthiss found Leroy. Leroy tried to run away, but Sarthiss grabbed him by the collar. "Hey, can'tthrowapunch, I have a job for you..." He began. Seeing the frightened look on Leoples's face, Sarthiss laughed. "Nothing life threatening buddy. Look, there's a girl. She's new. I want you to find out about her past and what she is capable of in any way possible. Understood?" Leoples nodded, still shaken. "ALLRIGHTY!" Sarthiss bellowed, clapping him on the back heartily, "Just don't fuck up. I'd like you to do this, it would mean alot to me. Then we can be actual friends and not 'I'm gonna kick your ass for touching my girl,' friends. Yee yee?" Leoples looked confused. "Uhh, yee." Sarthiss smiled. "Thanks bruh." He turned on his heel and commenced scouring the woods for Eevee.

 

[shyland]

Shade sits in a tree watching bird fly by as she falls asleep

 

[Eevee Shadow]

Wolf watched as Sarthiss started for the woods and went back to the girl in front of him. 'So yeah. that's pretty much how I got here. You?' He asked, trying to be friendly.


Eevee continued with the flame, and she found it quite entertaining. She tossed it back and forth for a while, but found it interesting that it had a lot of fire-like qualities. She eventually got bored and just played with it between her fingers, watching as it left trails of tiny specs of fire before they died out.

 

[Alstromeria]

Sarthiss found Eevee playing with fire again. That wasnt too much of a problem, at least she was getting used to it. He hoped she wouldn't try anything big anytime soon, even he had problems keeping flames under controll if they found their way to other things. Sarthiss didn't want to interupt, so he leaned nonchalantly against a tree, watching her. He liked the way her ears worked their ways in little circles when she was concentrating, her head slightly set at an angle. He still watched placidly, wondering what would come of her little practice session.
