"Definitely," Jake said, stopping at a house. It looked like the others, blended in with the color scheme and looked overall like a house a small family would live in. He walked up to the door and unlocked it. "After you," he said.

"Remember. If this is a trap. I take you with me pretty boy" Nicholas opens the door and steps inside

"Pretty boy?" Jake said, stepping into the house and closing the door. The roof was low on him due to his height, so he made sure not to hit his head. "Supplies are in the kitchen and in cupboards around the house. Weapons too."

Nicholas looks around "cosy place you got here. Unless you got an MP5 in here, I'm set with my swords" he walks into the kitchen and sets his case down

Max? If your here to do something, now is not the place. I do appreciate the saving me but I was perfectly fine. I was in my beast form. I don't feel any pain at all.

Jake shrugged, "Probably somewhere," he said, walking up to the case, "What's in there?"

Nicholas looks at the case "my swords, they're locked in there with my biometrics. Anyone else tries to get into it they get a dose of Botulinum toxin in them." Nicholas laughs "not standard issue but hey, gotta keep your weapons safe"

"Damn," Jake said, "Secure. I'm going to map out the place, find the exits." He walked off into the halls and went through the rooms, checking out what was in them.

Nicholas nods "I'll wait here and not get in the way" he leans against a counter top and begina singing quietly

Jake went through the rooms, looking for weapons and supplies. Though it looked boring, the house had a lot of defenses. He mapped them out and took some things back to the kitchen. "Good news: we won't be stuck here if there's an attack. Also, I found practice knives." He picked one up, "Wanna go?"

Nicholas shrugs "sure throw one over here" he stands up properly and buttons up his waistcoat

Jake tossed one of the knives and held his, "Haven't used one of these in a while, so you're going to have an advantage."

Nicholas spins the knife and slashes the air "I never stop training with blades, every morning and evening I work on my techniques" he smiles at Jake

Jake let out a whistle, "Threatening," he said, flipping his in the air, "So, just because fairness, I won't be able to use any mind tricks. We good?" He motioned with his hand, "Bring it blade boy."

Nicholas laughs "blade boy? I sound like a shitty super hero" he lunges at Jake, the knife aiming for his side

Jake jumped back at normal human speed and swung back at his attacking arm.

Nicholas smiles as he swaps the knife to his other hand and swings towards Jake's exposed side

Jake barely moved back to avoid the knife, still at normal speed. He lunged in and changed his angle of attack, jabbing towards the ribs.

Nicholas drops his knife and grabs Jake's hand, stopping him before his attack can land, he twists his arm in an attempt to disarm Jake

Jake made a low grunt when his arm was grabbed and started to fight back the other way, at the same time using his leg to try to get Nicholas off balance.

Nicholas using his martial art skills uses his legs to get Jake in a leg lock, he carries on twisting his arm

Jake was not in the best of positions, so he used his free elbow to bash Nicholas in the side of his jaw. He didn't want to hit the nose because he didn't want to cause too much damage, as this was only a spar.

Nicholas reels back from the hit and kicks Jake in the back sending him flying forward, he rubs his jaw before laughing "okay I'm tired, it's nice to know we're evenly matched though, you got anywhere to sleep in here?"

Jake laughed as well, not sharing that he was going normal speed, "Good to know," he repeated back, "There's one bed over in that room," he pointed down the hall, "To the left. I'll stay up and watch the house, I don't sleep much." He smiled, "You've done a lot today. Get some rest."
