Elya stared at the ground as Marissa sat in awe. "Mom... why the hell didn't you say something..." Elya simply shrugged. All of a sudden, a loud alarm went off. She reverted to her cold personality and rushed to her desk. Looking at some screens, she froze, going pale. "Marissa. Hide." Marissa looked confused, but before she could react, the door to the office flew across the room. Not far behind were heavily armored men. Marissa dashed into the closet and closed the door, the soldiers shouting in a strange language. The last one in walked calmly in, and the rest of the soldiers froze. Marissa looked through the crack of the door and gasped quietly.


"Dark brown eyes... That looks just like the man in the photo on Mom's desk... Dad?!" The man took of his helmet and looked around, spotting Elya. "Dear Elya.... it's been a while." Elya kept her composure. "Kyle. How nice of you to visit. Herbal tea?" He growled and sat down. "Marissa. We know she's here. Has she discovered her powers." Elya didn't respond, pouring a hot cup of tea and offering it to Kyle. "One sugar lump or two?" Kyle grabbed it and threw it against the wall. "THE GIRL. WHERE IS SHE." Elya sighed. "What a mess you've made." She started cleaning the wall.


Kyle shook his head. "You were so smart Elya. You could have been of great use to us. I was planning to spare you." Elya ignored him, considering it an empty threat, but after a loud bang, she looked down and saw blood soaking her shirt. She stumbled to her knees and breathed heavily. Marissa heard the bang and looked through the crack and saw Elya. She gasped, but Elya stared at the closet for a brief second, as if to say, "Stay." Marissa had tears streaming down her face.


Kyle growled. "Search the building and surrounding areas. Elya probably knew I was coming and sent Marissa off." The men ran out and Kyle smirked, looking at Elya as he left. "Truly a shame." Once he left, Marissa rushed out and grabbed her mom. She was already dead. Marissa cried uncontrollably and gritted her teeth. She gave her mom a hug and laid her down carefully. "He'll pay Mom, I promise." With that, she snuck out of the office, careful to not make any noise.


(PANT. Okay, there are probably typos again, but again, taking a break.)

Alex frowned as the men entered Elyas office. He was far too tired to fight having just been attacked by Lance. As the men leave the office Alex seizes the opportunity to do the contrary. He whispers. "Marissa? Are you in here?"

Jake nodded, "Good idea. That way you wont kill Max on sight. That would be great." He started walking out the door with the key and into the city.

Alright max see ya around. @National I began walking down the street. Just looking at all the people. Hmph, I wonder what's its like to be normal.

Max watches super walk off, seemingly like a normal person. Max thinks to himself as he walks back to the hotel room with the Chinese food. After a few minutes, he gets to the front of the door, knocking twice.


"Hey, is it alright for me to come in?"

Raven frowned in her sleep, rolling onto her front so she was face down on the bed, starfish like.

Max takes her silence as either being asleep, or something was wrong. Carefully, he pushes the door open, looking inside, seeing Raven passed out on the bed. He stiffles a childish giggle before setting the food down on the table nearby the bed, the scent of Chinese food wafting through the air.

Raven rolled over practically smelling the food in her sleep. She stretched out in her sleep and yawned, before frowning slight as she began to wake up.


Sitting up Raven rubbed her eyes.

Max looks over at the young girl, opening the bag up for her.


"Hey sleepyhead, the foods here."


Max takes off his hat and glasses, revealing his tassle of brown hair.

She took one of the rice boxes and moved to sit down in the bed. Raven removed the lid and put her fork in the rice. Sge felt a little awkward that he was watching her...like that, so decided to ask, "why...why do you look at me like that?"

Nicholas walks outside and takes a deep breath of fresh air. He sighs, finding Myles was gonna be like finding a specific needle in a pile of hay and more needles. All at once Nicholas remembers "I put a tracker on him" he walks back inside, grabs the device used to follow the tracker signals. He begins following the signal

Jake kept looking around, until he spotted a familiar face, walking into a hotel. Bam. That was fast. He should've suspected, it was the biggest hotel in the city. He watched the elevator sign above the elevator that Max went into stop at the seventh floor, so he took the elevator next to it, rising up to floor number seven.

Nicholas finally tracks Myles down and sighs "I was expecting him to be hiding out in a warehouse...not getting chinese food" Nicholas shrugs and walks inside, he nods at the owner "ni hao" he smiles and turns to Myles "hey there glowstick"

Max looks up at her, recovering himself from being found out.


"O-oh, nothing much. I was just.... I can't believe we would do this to you beings. You guys are humans as well, just with special adjustments. Seven years.... I'm so sorry."
