When Nearl announced she was going to be on the distraction team, Ryuji turned his head slightly towards her. "Good to have you on board. If you ever want to, I can always show you how to set off a rocket."

Ryuji also noticed that someone carrying medical supplies was joining the effort, and even though she expressed some amount of concern that nobody trusted her, Ryuji shrugged and said to Elora, "Hey, if it means we don't wind up with a hundred or more holes in our bodies, I'd certainly be okay with having a doc on board, no matter what team they're on."

"Well, it's a long story, but me and my dormates found him wounded at the shrine when we were going after a monster outside of where it's supposed to be." Minako gave the gist of the story, "Well, we actually met way before that, but we took him in afterwards."

Koromaru gave a nod of affirmation, followed by a bark.

"Yep. He also has the same power as me!" Minako says proudly upon asking if he can fight, "Though he can't really have more than one."

"I thought I was going insane for a minute there. I thought this was all just a dream. A balloon talking to me? Give me a break."

Naoto is near his point of insanity as he is wondering if he is dreaming or not. If he is dreaming then he would be sent back to where he was before as if he were to lose to Yellow Devil and it could be possible that he has lost to him but it is unlikely that it is a dream which is all in his mind.

He looks at the cat and the mouse and wondered if he is going insane. Unfortunately, they cannot talk like before so he has to reaffirm that in disbelief.

He waits for a response unless the balloon has nothing to say for that matter.

She looked at those choosing to be on her team. Well, at least she won't be alone, but hopefully they heard what she said. "Welcome to the team, guys. Name's Skye, if you haven't met me yet, and again I apologize in advance for what's going to happen." Looking at the members of her teams, she had to get this question out of the way first since it was good to know ahead of time. If no one was going to volunteer, then she'd have to step up.

"Hey, so I gotta know something ahead of time: is anyone going to stay behind to keep an eye on us? Just so that nothing bad happens." Skye then looked over at Lilac and nodded. "Good, cause really, I don't want it to be like a guessing game when the time comes." Then, she looked at Megumin and Heather, glad that she at least got her to come back. "At least I got her to come back. Heather, you should probably stick with Megumin."

A new voice approached them, turning to see a new person. They were attracting all the people today, it seems. "Were you following us? If you can fight, mind helping us? I doubt you're from this universe, so unless you're planning on staying in this universe, coming with us and helping us is the better option."​

As he had made his decision on who he was going with, he had slung the duffel across his chest and back as he still carried the suitcase in the other, a smile on anticipation as he slowly reached for his toothpick. Upon the asking of people to stay behind, Jordi decided to keep his mouth shut, just in case there were any heroes who wanted to do volunteer. Unfortunately though, it seemed the volunteering had to come from someone, and no one was doing it, thus, came the disappointed sounds of "tsks" as he waved his arm, dismissively.

"Jesus you people are no fun!", Jordi yells as he shakes his head, still waving that arm. "You know what, fine, last guy chooses has to do the boring job! Right? Fantastic." The suited individual made sure to double check himself, pulling on some gloves as he shakes his head again, muttering to himself. "You know what, just leave some big holes.", the hitman proclaims with another disappointed tone, but, he has gone to the back of the pack.

The joyful sounds of a familiar voice easily caught the attention of Nearl and her twitching ears. The Kuranta turns around, a little lost and just overall blinded by the situation, as she suddenly remembers a familar face with a small wave and a wag of the tail.

"Hiya! Thanks! I will definitely mention it sometime Ryuji!"

The face of Ryuji was unmistakable, as he was one of the few people to refuse to let Nearl be messed with by Jordi's antics, however, this current walk to Ryuji showed a new character, what seems to be a young girl with red hair and seems to be like one of those characters you would see or hear about from a novel. "Hiya there!", the radiant knight exclaims in joy to this new female character.

The icy one was piping up again, making her Etherian adversary crack open a smile. "Oh, no, darling." Double chuckled, their tail wagging. "Save your energy for when you're being dragged into the shadows by the allies of Teridore. Not that you'll have much chance of escaping them, anyway." They changed their body shape into that of a powerful executive, towering over Natasha with their fingers curled like eagle talons. "Mmm hmm hmm! An intruder! Good thing I have plenty of wooden stakes laying around, I think I'll make her an example!" Then they pretended to reach out and snatch Natasha by her paws.

"I should be leaving then. Thank you for those of you who are supporting me. I appreciate that. If you want to come with me then I don't mind. Just don't get too cocky with me and you won't have a problem."

It seems like the fight club is far from over and the creature that he has been trying to save is now safe. Now, it is time for him to go somewhere else but he has no idea about where to go next.

His heroic actions have shed a bit of light on whom the people are looking forward to him and he is doing the best he can to bring hope to the people that are being saved. He missed living in the post-apocalyptic world that he has come from and he wonders if his two friends, Bat and Rin are okay during his absence.

Where will he go next? He looked around for any paths that he might choose depending on the situation that they are in.

There, he saw what appears to be a group of individuals as if they were in teams. He wonders if he can be a part of one of the teams but he prefers to stay out of it. Also, it would be a good idea if he can form a friendship with them but he has no idea about whom to talk to first.

The only plan that he has in mind is that he wants to return to his world and he must find an answer to it by talking to someone. There is a small chance that it is unlikely that will happen but it depends on luck.

He saw a robotic-like figure that he would probably talk to and he approached him to ask him a question.

"Excuse me. Do you know a place where I can get back to my world like a portal? I have been transported to this world and I am not sure why I am stuck here." He said.

Naoto Azuma/Tiger Mask

Naoto nodded as he understands that he is not going insane but it is still strange for a person to talk to a talking balloon as he couldn't tell if he is talking or not.

When he heard about the plan that Rene has stated earlier, he isn't sure if he should go with the plan or not as he prefers to stay out of it entirely and to let the others handle it. He isn't a coward but a wrestler who is vulnerable to armed opponents as it is his weakness.

He wants to stay with the cat and the mouse for as long as he can survive and there is nothing that they would do to hurt him unless it is dangerous enough to harm him entirely. He was going to ask Rene a question but it appears that it is too late. He asked anyway.

"Are you okay with the ones who are not fighting? You see, I am not good at fighting armed opponents and I don't want to risk my life for it." He said.

Tsukasa Kadoya/Kamen Rider Decade

Since nobody is not answering the door at the bar, he decides to go somewhere else instead but it appears that he had lost track with the group. It isn't unusual for him to lose track as he didn't get distracted in the first place but to find Tifa that might have something to do with Elizabeth about her whereabouts.

He sits down on the ground to think about a mistake that he just made and there is nothing he can do to change it. If he were to stay with the group then he will be up for a new adventure but he is unable to do so.

He then heard a strange noise that is coming from afar and he went there to investigate it. It is a portal that leads to a different world and it has a logo on the side. It seems like it has been left abandoned as it is covered in vines and leaves meaning that it hasn't been used for a very long time.

It is the same logo that he had found on the card that was in one of the bandit's pockets and it could lead him to that location that is, Shin Island where the titular Chunso Corporation is located at. He wonders if it could lead to dangerous things by entering but he entered anyway.

He is now at Shin Island. He saw something that he didn't expect to see. The factories are filled with bright lights, helicopters can be seen flying in the air as if they are patrolling for something, and soldiers are patrolling as well.

He is certainly in for a ride as he might find something interesting from there but he didn't want to be accused of being the aggressor upon returning. If he were to become the aggressor then he wouldn't be attacking them unless they attack him first and that is when they are aggressive.

He knows that they might be up to no good and he wants to investigate further to prove their villainous actions unless it didn't go as planned. Either way, he has made an amazing discovery.

The Kuranta would keep a joyful grin as the new girl would turn over to her. The Knight, giving a small casual wave in response with a head tilted as she flicked her ears and waved her rather large tail side to side. She would nod slowly to Xiomara's answer, before taking her hand with her own steel-clad hand. "Xiomara's a nice name", The Kazimierzian responded with a quip, enjoying the vast number of new faces, "My name is Margaret Nearl."

"Though, everyone calls me Nearl."

She would gladly shake the newcomer's hand before letting go and retracting her own, reaching to pull out her Warhammer and slams its head against the face of her shield. "A medic? I see! I may not be a medic specifically, but I am a healer as well!"

Kraken

A bit of deep thought after getting rid of a certain artificial intelligence later, Kraken was to join a team like the others before her. She listened to her own thoughts as she would recount the options. 'Well, let's see.' She began thinking. 'I doubt I would fit in heavy weapons team, and I do not know if I am even going to be well versed in headhunting thanks to... monster problems.' And ergo, that left her with two choices - either play the security patrol, or just be a destructive mess when the time rises for it - if needed at all! She would eventually settle on option number one, as her own capabilities should help somewhat - not just to cover ground, but find the security and flatten it to nothing just as fast as it would probably be found.​

Natasha's reaction should have been a sign that Double was to leave her and Eric alone at once. Especially at this point, however, they could no longer help themselves. Of course, it would have been even more fun if the two were just a little more dense, but watching Natasha get riled up was also amusing. So they took the punch, stepped backwards, and then undid the shapeshift. Instead of their original form, however, they changed back into Natasha.

"Oh, I can't wait to kick their asses, even though they have more than enough power to kick mine! I sure hope they give my diva self their finest prison cell! Oh, maybe the bars will be diamond!" A funny dance commenced, as "Natasha" hopped up and down on "her" back feet, with "her" tongue flopping around. "Who knows, I might even get to pick out my cell, because I'll be the first to get captured. After all, I'm the only one who throws herself into a fight without thinking! Because I'm Natasha, and I need to mask my heartbreak from my boyfriend cheating on me by acting all rough and tough!"

When she heard that the dog had the same power as Minako, her eyes widened. Koromaru could summon a Persona, as Minako called it, as well? That was really impressive, even if he could only summon one. And a monster was involved? Judging by how he was here, they probably did defeat it.

She heard the man in the suit volunteer to stay back after a few minutes of no one speaking up, which she was glad someone spoke up. "Glad to know you're stepping up for watch duty. We may need rope and duct tape for this." Then, she looked at the newest member of the team, who looked to be a little girl. If she's joining, it was fine with her, but hopefully she could handle herself. "Welcome to the team."

Voss then joined as well, which made her smile. "Hey, welcome to the party, Voss." She looked at everyone joining the team. "Hope you guys are decent actors and liars, it'll come in handy." It was then that she heard Heather and the smile went away.

While Heather may not have thought calling her "mom" in anyway would've affected her, it certainly affected Skye. She could feel the pain come back and a single tear go down her face, but they were still on a mission, so she had to try to bury the pain once again. Wiping the tear away, she started to try to nullify the pain in her own way.

After the mission, she'd have to deal with it. For now, the pain would have to be buried and ignored.

Natasha takes the kicks and grunts, though the crotchshot in particular isn't very effective compared to how it would be on the opposite gender. She growls and kicks back. "What are you smiling about? Are you into this shit or something?"

"Oh, darling..." "Natasha" crowed. "Surely, you find this whole day to be boring. I, however, find you to be very fun. I've never met such a short tempered cohort...Well, maybe I have. But you're the first to display so much gut." Then "she" tightened "her" embrace, attempted pull Natasha down to the floor with "her". "Making up for something, I presume. I do enjoy guessing games! Let me guess: Runt of the litter. Not as good with your abilities as others of your species. Or maybe you just want to go home, back to the one place where you're seen as even remotely a threat."

Lucky, having lost interest in the fight once it became clear that Natasha would have the upper paw, instead studied his body. He had bumps of jade on strangely specific points of his body, including the crown of his furry head, his hips, and his shoulderblades. Even with his jade currently subdued, these bumps refused to let themselves be scratched off.

Rene calmly shakes his head at Naoto. "If you can't handle the heat, that's fine. I think Dawn's gonna be sitting this one out, too."

"I... kind of want to join in," the Espeon protests, only to be promptly cut off by Eric's shouting.

"LEAVE HER ALONE!"

The Typhlosion lunges himself at Double Trouble and shoves them off of Natasha, growling like an animal. "I warned you what would happen if you messed with her again, and now you're going to pay that damn... pri-... p-price..." The anger in his eyes fades away almost instantly and is replaced by fatigue. He stumbles backwards, catching himself on the wall, and slumps down a little, the stone slabs behind him visible through his fur. He tries to approach Double Trouble again. What else can he do but fail to when he can barely even stand? "No... not now. Not right before... the raid."

Dawn's lungs constrict. "Damn it, nononono, I- you can't-" The Espeon runs over to Dawn. They mumble something to each other- difficult to hear under the bustling activity of the rest of the group and hidden by positioning themselves at the very edge of the crowd.

Rene glances around.

"Okay, I assume everyone's found a group, right? I'm kicking it with Skye and Ian to disable Tediore's security systems. Fingers crossed I don't get genderswapped. Once those are down, the second infiltration team is gonna go in, join the first team, and retrieve Kyle or anything that can clue us in on the location of the Throne. Clean in, clean out. That's what we're looking for. Any of us are at risk of getting caught, the distraction team has to do everything in their power to draw the guards' attention. That may include doing things that will get you arrested. I've got a few of my guys stationed to help you in case you need the numbers. That plan fails and either of us get discovered, Tediore's alarms are gonna go off quick. Heavy weapons group is gonna have to swoop in and provide us backup if that happens. Remember, you guys are plan C, our last line of defense. This mission is purely stealth until we get discovered, got it? Your very lives are at stake here. No pressure."

After that lengthy speech, Rene turns to the other Raiders who haven't seemed to join a team yet as Dawn 'helps' Eric walk somewhere private. As they leave, Eric tells all of those nearby him, "Don't follow me" as kindly as he can.

"So, where are you guys going?"

"I'll go with the heavy weapons team. Iron Bear's not really meant for stealth," Moze replies.

"brrrt bk bchcka (hell ya diztraction team)" Yung Venuz says as he floats over next to Chres and eyes his speakers.

Yung Cuz bounces his way over to the heavy weapons team, looking delighted as ever. He's playing Garfield Kart without even looking at his Switch.

Mr. Red raises his arm. "Infiltration sounds coolio. Consider Kyle captured."

"Hohoho... I would prefer us to avoid confrontation until necessary," Alfa, the green stick figure, speaks up with a chuckle. "I will go with the heavy weapons team."

Grey puts his visor back on. "We're gonna need those security cameras down. I'll go with Skye's group."

Phoenix-2 takes his place beside the distraction team, his Ghost following over his shoulder. "We'll go with you," the small robot tells all of you in the group. "We know a thing or two about getting the attention of armies."

"I'll go wherever Lana goes," Dust says.

Rene nods. "O-kay, sounds like we're all organized. Oh, wait- yo, Eric! Any idea on where you're going?" Rene leans around you all to find the Typhlosion, only to find no one at all. "...Eric?"

"Here," a voice calls back from the darkness. Out of the shadows steps Dawn. No Typhlosion in sight.

"Dawn? Where'd Eric go?"

"He's... long story. Just call me Eric from now on. We're... the same... person..." the Espeon cryptically explains before his voice drops off. "I'm just gonna be on... lookout with Sniper. And Natasha." He glances over at Double Trouble, a mix of nervous and irritation, both emotions fighting for control of his face.

Rene just cocks his head, stares in silence for an awkwardly long time as if to decide whether or not he wants more answers, then waves him off. "Whatever, no time for questions. Alright, everyone. Saddle up, say what might be your last words to each other, and follow your Raider buddies. If you don't want to be in the middle of all the action, go with Dawn Keep an eye on your new pals. I haven't seen them, but if they wanna be our friends... well, we do need all the help we can get. You have my full permission to put a bullet in them if they get out of line."

Ian hands Sniper a large duffel bag. Rene draws his revolver.

"Let's do this, people."


Infiltration Teams

Should you choose to follow these two teams, Rene, Ian, and FL4K lead you down the winding sewers, and about ten minutes of creeping through the dank tunnels, you finally reach a service ladder.

"Alright. First team is go. Second team, stay here until you get the all-clear over the psychic-net," orders the Hunter before turning to Skye, mumbling something about 'having to work on that.' "This close enough?"


Distraction and Heavy Weapons Teams

Likewise, Moze, Zane, Salvador, and Axton lead you down a different direction, though everything looks the damn same down here, so you don't need to worry about missing any sights. Nothing but stone tunnels and sewage water no matter where you go. If it wasn't for the directions saved in Moze's ECHO Device by Rene, it would be pretty easy to get lost.

Just like with the infiltration teams, you all eventually reach a service ladder. Zane excitedly climbs up first, followed by Moze, then the other Raider leaders and you. If you need any help to climb up, one of the Vault Hunters helps you- how nice.

Zane at the top pushes aside the manhole cover above him, giving way to the light of the world above. He climbs out and is joined by the other Raiders, who would once again help you out if you need it. You appear to be in a lit alleyway, well away from any witnesses apart from maybe a few drug addicts, drunkards, or dealers. Thankfully, none of those three are here.



Zane wanders over to a nearby door and twists the doorknob. Unlocked. "Looks like they should be in here," he tells his fellow veteran Vault Hunters. "Take out your guns, just in case." He draws his pistol and opens the door, Axton and Moze pointing at the opening with their weapons.

Inside is a fairly large, very run-down backroom filled with medicine cabinets. Various dirty people in raggedy clothes pointing more impressive guns than their wear would suggest they should have at you are inside. Once they see that you're the ones coming through, they relax.

"So, you guys are the people Rene told us about?"

"Yep! In the handsome flesh," Zane brags and holds the door open for the rest of you.

"Damn... some of you guys look real tough," one of the women inside compliments you. "No wonder Rene praised you like that."

"Well, then," one of the other guys says. "How about you guys introduce yourselves?"

You can hear noise and voices coming from the other room behind them. They barely react to this, however, so it's likely that the only ones there are allies.

You are free to interact with these new allies, explore the backroom, go into the main area of this building to investigate who's in there, ask for something to do while you wait, or... honestly, do whatever you want! Just be sure to not kill anyone, okay?


Lookout Team

If you're one of the few who wanted to go with Sniper, he... also leads you to a service ladder. You guys seeing a pattern here?

Before he climbs up, he turns to you all. "Alright. I'm gonna need a head count. Can't sneak all of ya' into a hotel unless I know who I'm workin' with."

Bizarro-girl followed her group because that was the simple thing to do and her Bizarro mind couldn't comprehend what else was going on. She didn't need any help but was confused why she can't just fly out of the tunnels. Whenever they finally go to their hideout, Bizarro-girl would wonder into the backroom.

Alpha

Alpha sighed as she settled down, her rifle raised and her body kneeling on a twilit overlook, above a small encampment. It was a light assignment, just taking out a higher-ranking member of some nameless militia. She'd waited a few days, occasionally checking the area out, and occasionally stealing from the camp while she waited. She was well-fed, watered, and rested. The time to strike drew near.

As she moved her gloved finger, taking the safety off of her "Excalibur" and loosening up to take the shot, something changed. Blinding light and a deafening crackling overwhelmed her senses. Up shifted to down and shifted back. She felt weightless then felt the weight of a hundred men, then she finally saw everything resolve as whatever grabbed her spat her out. The armored sniper rolled on the ground, sprawling out from the concussive force of the dimensional pull, being slow to get up as everything about her ached, including the magic bits.

After what felt like an eternity, Alpha finally looked around, her helmeted and glowing gaze sweeping over the few individuals as she jumped up suddenly, raising her rifle at the group.

"Where am I?"

She barked out, her grip tight around her weapon. Nothing here seemed familiar, and a sinking feeling flooded Alpha's core as she realized she was probably far, far away from where she was a moment (or was it longer?) ago. The thought shook her, but she stayed calm enough to fight for the moment. There weren't a whole lot here, but it was an uphill battle and she was outnumbered regardless.

  Heather, blissfully ignorant to the fact that she continues to put Skye on a needless emotional rollercoaster, pokes her head out of the manhole cover and looks around the alleyway, curiously looking at a few discarded needles and other drug paraphernalia, as well as a few flakes of strange powder, a white sugar-like substance with an aroma that strangely inticed heather. She leaned down as though to take a deeper whiff of the substance, that is until Megumin came out and headed into the building, which she promptly followed her into, seeing the new people.
  
  "Oh hey I'm h-heather! N-Nice to meet you all!"
  
  Standing at waist height to the vault hunters, she tried to reach up to shake their hands, but due to the height difference could barely reach and just ended up lightly shaking them by the fingers. Fortunate, as a real handshake could crush her hand.

"LEAVE HER ALONE!"

The Typhlosion lunges himself at Double Trouble and shoves them off of Natasha, growling like an animal. "I warned you what would happen if you messed with her again, and now you're going to pay that damn... pri-... p-price..." The anger in his eyes fades away almost instantly and is replaced by fatigue. He stumbles backwards, catching himself on the wall, and slumps down a little, the stone slabs behind him visible through his fur. He tries to approach Double Trouble again. What else can he do but fail to when he can barely even stand? "No... not now. Not right before... the raid."

Only after Eric threw them away did Double finally cut the act. At this point, they had several bruises, which none of their disguises could hide. Their tail continued to wag as Eric threatened violence. "Him and what army? He's a total pansy!" As the Typhlosion got tired, they broke out into a grin. "Can't even carry out your threats." The Etherian reptile shook their head. "What chance do you have against Teridore?"

"Okay, I assume everyone's found a group, right? I'm kicking it with Skye and Ian to disable Tediore's security systems. Fingers crossed I don't get genderswapped. Once those are down, the second infiltration team is gonna go in, join the first team, and retrieve Kyle or anything that can clue us in on the location of the Throne. Clean in, clean out. That's what we're looking for. Any of us are at risk of getting caught, the distraction team has to do everything in their power to draw the guards' attention. That may include doing things that will get you arrested. I've got a few of my guys stationed to help you in case you need the numbers. That plan fails and either of us get discovered, Tediore's alarms are gonna go off quick. Heavy weapons group is gonna have to swoop in and provide us backup if that happens. Remember, you guys are plan C, our last line of defense. This mission is purely stealth until we get discovered, got it? Your very lives are at stake here. No pressure."

"That sounds like my cue. See you later, Eric darling!" Double sung, as they got up to join Rene.

"Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" Megumin offered, only for Lucky to hold her by her dress. "I think a distraction is best for you, Lassie." The rabbit said simply.

The archwizard's features scrunched up, and she looked to Double, who sneered at her. They felt that they were being proven right, she could see it in their alien eyes. "I can't take this sitting down." Closing her eyes and breathing deeply, she turned on her heel to face Lucky. "Why, Chomusuke, do you think I am better off as a distraction? I'll have you know that I can do a lot of damage!"

"Infiltration doesn't require an Explosion." Lucky rolled his eyes. "A kill count as massive as yours can potentially be is best off with us. Think about it." He lowered an eyebrow and smirked. "If Infiltration goes down, Lassie, you and I can reduce all their captors to blood and ashes."

"Crimson ashes!" Megumin briefly held a proud smile. "Oh, all right. I'll stay with you. Maybe you can show me how to use these weapons I have." She opened her duffel bag for Lucky, who immediately began drooling. "Lassie, do you have any idea how much destruction you can bring with turrets that massive?" Lucky asked greedily. "These would be so much more useful with us, than some stupid infiltration team!"

"Wait- yo, Eric! Any idea on where you're going?" Rene leans around you all to find the Typhlosion, only to find no one at all. "...Eric?"

"Here," a voice calls back from the darkness. Out of the shadows steps Dawn. No Typhlosion in sight.

"Dawn? Where'd Eric go?"

"He's... long story. Just call me Eric from now on. We're... the same... person..." the Espeon cryptically explains before his voice drops off. "I'm just gonna be on... lookout with Sniper. And Natasha." He glances over at Double Trouble, a mix of nervous and irritation, both emotions fighting for control of his face

All three were taken aback.

"You, too?" Double grinned, twiddling their fingers together. "My, my! Just like that, darling, you're an elite-tier actor!"

"Eric?! Dawn?! No, wait, Eric?!" Megumin's head spun. "Wow, I mean...How'd you-? But Kendall! Kendall was a split personality of a split personality?!"

"Seems so...?" Lucky's ears were folded, his expression suggesting that Eric had just showed him a roadkill bunny, not revealed his secret. "I don't get it either, Laddie. If you're the same lad, then how was one of you in Blood Gulch, and the other one down in this compost bin? How the fuck were you both in the same place and time?"

Should you choose to follow these two teams, Rene, Ian, and FL4K lead you down the winding sewers, and about ten minutes of creeping through the dank tunnels, you finally reach a service ladder.

"Alright. First team is go. Second team, stay here until you get the all-clear over the psychic-net," orders the Hunter before turning to Skye, mumbling something about 'having to work on that.' "This close enough?"

"All right! Sunshine!" Double enthusiastically gripped the ladder, their tail swishing as they climbed.

Likewise, Moze, Zane, Salvador, and Axton lead you down a different direction, though everything looks the damn same down here, so you don't need to worry about missing any sights. Nothing but stone tunnels and sewage water no matter where you go. If it wasn't for the directions saved in Moze's ECHO Device by Rene, it would be pretty easy to get lost.

Just like with the infiltration teams, you all eventually reach a service ladder. Zane excitedly climbs up first, followed by Moze, then the other Raider leaders and you. If you need any help to climb up, one of the Vault Hunters helps you- how nice.

Zane at the top pushes aside the manhole cover above him, giving way to the light of the world above. He climbs out and is joined by the other Raiders, who would once again help you out if you need it. You appear to be in a lit alleyway, well away from any witnesses apart from maybe a few drug addicts, drunkards, or dealers. Thankfully, none of those three are here.

Zane wanders over to a nearby door and twists the doorknob. Unlocked. "Looks like they should be in here," he tells his fellow veteran Vault Hunters. "Take out your guns, just in case." He draws his pistol and opens the door, Axton and Moze pointing at the opening with their weapons.

As they plodded along, Lucky and Megumin found themselves wrapped in a conversation, kicked off by Megumin looking back at where Double once stood.

"Lassie, we don't need that snake." Lucky snarled. "He just wanted to tear us apart like petals from a daisy."

"But he had a point." Megumin replied briskly. "Chomusuke, what if I really am useless to everyone?"

"You didn't play a big role in Blood Gulch. Aside from coddling me at every turn, of course." Lucky answered bluntly. "But at least twenty people, including meself, saw what you can do, potentially. That Explosion could've fried us all. And you at least tried with that grenade stunt. And if you're still alive after all that shit we went through, then you're doin' something right."

"But look at you!" Megumin replied wistfully. "You stood up to Benedict, you know so much more about using guns than me, you helped with the Warthog, you disabled the turrets, you got to fly around in an eagle's talons, and you helped with that killing blow against Meta! And I can only assume you helped with the bandits in Skull's Settlement! I don't have anything on you!"

"Hey." Lucky stepped a little closer to her. "War isn't for everyone, especially if you didn't fucking ask to be part of it. That's what I tried to tell Lana, but, ah...Her innocence was probably destroyed the moment we found out that we were cloned, at the latest." He sighed. "I did hear that you lost your power entirely, but you're fixed now, so it should be uphill for you, right?"

"Yes, it should! That's what makes me anxious, Chomusuke." Megumin paused to kick at the ground. "I have my Explosion back, and there's no bossy soldiers ordering us around, so I want to use that to its fullest! I want to make up for all that time I spent doing nothing."

"Do you usually feel this way with your friends? Your original ones. I mean."

"Not in particular." Megumin rubbed the back of her ear. "Kazuma got frustrated with me, sure, but when he needs to, he makes it clear that I'm important to him. It's that way with all three of us."

"Ah, that's probably your issue." Lucky nodded.

"What...?...You know what, yeah!" Megumin went wide-eyed as she nodded. "Maybe it's because I've been away from Kazuma for so long, I'm forgetting what he thinks of me, and my self-worth on top of that! These worlds we've been in are so different, I forget to be me!" She broke out into a smile. "Well, I have Explosion back, I have these firearms, I'm the original me!...I hope...It's time for me to stop treating this like some scary other world, and start treating this place like it's Belzerg! After all, I am still MEGUMIN! NOTORIOUS ARCHMAGE OF THE CRIMSON DEMONS! No amount of humiliation will change that!" Suddenly, she reached down and hugged Lucky nice and tight. "Thank you, Chomusuke! I knew I could count on you to lift my homesick spirits!"

"Urgh! Lassie!" Lucky struggled to keep his pebble in. "Do you want me to fall under this thing's control again? At least let me master it before you cause it to reform!"

"Oh, sorry..." Megumin lowered the rabbit back onto the ground. "Can you master it?"

"I don't know." Lucky gazed worriedly down at his chest. "I just want to avoid another Lana situation."

"Yeah, you were feeling dreadful about wailing on her." Megumin turned smug. "Because you still like her, riiiiiiiight?"

"No!" Lucky snapped, glaring daggers at her. "I just don't want to beat up me teammates! Besides, she has-Oh, right..." His ears drooped.

"Come on, Chomusuke, everyone could see it! You like her!"

"I JUST WANTED TO PROTECT HER, OKAY!?"

"Because you like heeeeeeer~!"

"Because it was the right thing to do and shit, all right?!" Lucky bared his teeth at her, then stormed ahead of her.

The archwizard just giggled. "You know you liked making friends, Chomusuke." She whispered cheerfully.

"I DID NOT!" Because Lucky was so busy shouting, he banged his head into the service ladder. "Ow, fuck! See what you made me do, Lassie!"

"Sorry, Chomusuke." Megumin scratched the back of her head, grinning nervously. "Here, you can ride in my hat!"

With a Lucky cream cone in her hands, Megumin followed Rene closely through the alleyway. "Goodness, I've been in dungeons that were cleaner and safer than this..." She whimpered.

"If anyone gives us trouble, you just hand me one of your new widowmakers, Lassie." Lucky offered greedily.

Inside is a fairly large, very run-down backroom filled with medicine cabinets. Various dirty people in raggedy clothes pointing more impressive guns than their wear would suggest they should have at you are inside. Once they see that you're the ones coming through, they relax.

"So, you guys are the people Rene told us about?"

"Yep! In the handsome flesh," Zane brags and holds the door open for the rest of you.

"Damn... some of you guys look real tough," one of the women inside compliments you. "No wonder Rene praised you like that."

"Well, then," one of the other guys says. "How about you guys introduce yourselves?"

You can hear noise and voices coming from the other room behind them. They barely react to this, however, so it's likely that the only ones there are allies.

You are free to interact with these new allies, explore the backroom, go into the main area of this building to investigate who's in there, ask for something to do while you wait, or... honestly, do whatever you want! Just be sure to not kill anyone, okay?

The teams were brought to some kind of gathering room. Though even Lucky had been in cleaner basements, the folks inside were still friendly enough.

"Me name's Lucky. Lucky O'Chopper."

"And I'm Megumin! An archwizard who controls the most deadly of Crimson Demon magics! And I'm really looking forward to getting home."

"And I'm itchin' to continue me Toffee-slayin' quest! Then I might come back and settle here, who knows. I do have a Floran to return to."
