Nope. I am curious about Renee and James' relationship. Sometimes I can't see how a character is, but in Renee's eyes, does it look like he cares about her?

Hm! Well sometimes yea, he does care about her in her eyes. Sometimes. Like the quiet moments they have together is when she can see it. Other times she can't help but be frustrated about that because it so rare. I guess that's why she treasures each touching moment they have including him crying. So...it's like "I respect your choice on being like this with me but I really dislike that you are like this with me." type thing.

Though I think she gets a little sad that she has to push herself like that just to make James show his care when he can causally do that with others outside of his siblings...Like he's never comfortable with being that close to his siblings including her who he knows is very kind. The fact that he was so surprise to her being that forgiving at the tournament despite everything kind of hinted he never really seen that side to her.....Hmmm.

Does James believe that Renee cares about him too?

Yeah, I just realized it is sad that James is awkward with showing affection with his siblings compared to others.

'Cuz they're siblings. Most siblings are not close.

I have a sister, we're close, but we're just starting to show affection now that we're older. If we showed each other affection before, that'd be like, "Ew, what's wrong with you?"

When I read that, everything about her just clicked in my brain because I've wondered 'Why in goodness gracious name is she pushing this hard???!!!' Then the idea of her actually wanting James to acknowledge her efforts too just made more sense with that and yea. XD Zer0

Younger, like when they were kids. Cuz I was thinking, when Lydia mentioned her brother putting spiders in her glasses case, the twins must have done that at least once too, and the bigger the spider the better.
