Other then annoying everyone with his attempt with catching Bertrand. Only to betray him...possibly killed him. I think Kenren was just really smart about planning a surprise attack.

Actually now that I think about it, Renee is basically the only one so far who kept breaking his plans since the very beginning even when she means well!!! XD I'm surprised that he's not frustrated at her at all...unless there's a motive to that as well??? Zer0 Zer0

Or does he believe that she's a good luck charm too? XD Zer0 Zer0 I like to believe he likes her in a sense that she can bring up smart decisions or appreciates that she's just as much as a humanitarian as he is...sometimes...without the soldier part in him...Hmmmmmmm.....

I'll be shocked if he actually likes her likes her which I doubt but yea....no. XD Kenren likes Mia and doesn't want to admit it.

Hmm....Okay. So...At first it started with treating Ren differently. Could be the circumstances or maybe he honestly believes there's something supernatural with this girl and he could somehow pick that up. Thinking 'Oh! well just in case, I should make friends with her in case anything happens' which something did happen *cough! Holt Cough!*. but then I wonder...

Why didn't he think to ask her to talk with the Ashenvale Manna tree in the beginning if he knew about her talking with Sunny? It would have saved a lot of time but it just slipped under him so I think he thinks too much and tends to be really detailed about his plans which makes me think he's a bit OCD XD Like he needs to be busy with something and make sure to have every card in hand just in case. but then he forgets the most simplest one on the table. XD
 
Then there's that whole 'You have my word' thingy. What? What Prince does that unless he really does believe that Ren is something special? I don't know how other than her freaking wings and then there's the shaman legend which I guess can influence his look on her since she can talk with manna trees and tends to talk with other plants and souls like they have a voice of their own. but still that's a bit of stretch on his view on her. Oh but I've noticed that he stopped calling her 'little girl' too. Ever since she told him about finding weaknesses to deathknights and how that works with studies but still keeps it sane too...makes me think that he does respect her in a way. Like 'Oh...here's a girl who can find the possible in the impossible' and just let's her be, including to her hugging him like he was normal-!

Wait-! Is that why he's okay with her? Because he wants someone to treat him like a normal person instead of a prince sometimes? I mean...it makes sense. He told her to call him 'Ken-chan'. The way he makes promises makes me thnk of someone who wants to keep them and being honest of his intentions like he knew that she's react badly if he lied...It's like he's trying to find a friend within someone who has similar views and since Ren fits that profile closely with Princess Mia...yea.....

He could have just bring her in a room or something and talk with her with Captain Leo (Which I'm like wondering what happened to him!? Did he die!??) to talk about that. Then again etiquette so...that's a pass. XD

Yea, you have a point there. But still- The fact that he didn't even think of asking her in the first place and he got lucky that she even mention about it or that she even trusts him enough to share that info.

Kenren is an OCD gambling man who really freaking takes chances on the most unlikely person ever. XD

Not gonna lie: I really do love how you write your characters Zer0 Zer0 They make me think hard about their motives, beliefs, thinking process, and habits. Enjoying their puzzles so much!
 
...I'm really tempted to have Ren be like: "Invite me to your wedding! I'll send a nice wedding gift for ya! Oh and I'll invite you to mine too! *leans in to whisper* My brother said he's gonna dance with Chenglei in a dance to Suavemente. " to Kenren one day. Just like out of the blue too. Lol!

Ohh~! The plans I have for Kenren now...Lol! It doesn't help that he became that one friend who knows too much too fast and he's taking it to stride...while laughing uncontrollably. XD Zer0 Zer0
