Zer0 so I was thinking about the whole not ignoring the mag def rolls and I was thinking... you could always give the dragon's magic buffs when it comes to Seifer, Renee, and Lydia. They'd be more susceptible to him since he technically already controls them. Also, it was established that his type of magic works around the sealing cuffs... so technically, wouldn't any mag def they have against known magic be obsolete when it comes to his magic? I mean, that would go for everyone, not just the three that have a piece of his soul.

I don't think so because magic def. is still a part of them. Kind of like blood cells, I think, the magic would still flow through them just not for them to use for attacking. Defensing is another story...maybe. Depends on what sort of defending. If it's outer then yea, it wouldn't work as much but inner? That could mean a whole different story.

But eh. XD

and no, I'm not saying that. I'm saying that James would do something to prevent any sort of harm towards them. So maybe a light push or a tug to somehow convince Lydia to move quickly. Something like that.

Oh the buffs is a good idea! Yeah, it'd be obsolete, but I don't want to do something you guys can't defend against. To make sense with it, I just work with the logic that what you guys are fighting with is actually your soul vs his soul, like some kind of deeper magic that transcends conventional norms?
