Because the witch of the waste is a very stubborn person too. Howl would just run away if it doesn't work out. XD Maybe I can make James like him so that it'll be funny, but I think it's too late. He lost his ex because of different priorities instead of running away.

Well he does have his father's dramatic moments when it comes to breaking up. Howl had a hard time breaking up with a girl he really liked because she called him ugly. James really liked an ex only for her to leave him because of hie distant he is.

So I can say that James and Howl are father and son. In that aspect. XD

Because he was too busy with his studies. xD but for Lydia, studying with him is spending time with him sooooo... he couldn't upset her with that. lol and as for Lydia making him run away... The advice aunt Melody has shared with Echo is what she believes her mother would what to tell her. About how traditions and views from others should not matter as long she and he make each other happy. Since her mother got trapped with their own traditions, Aria would want her daughter to be free from that and let her grow up to be like any other girl, fawn or not.

So my guess is that Melody advised Echo to be wary of guys, but always give a chance to the ones who truly left an impressionable mark in her heart. Which Johnny definitely did, believe it or not. Zer0

Seifer, not having a father figure that he needs as a disciplinary, did not understand that affection could be something more innocent and obsessing with finding comfort and affection from somewhere, he would sleep around. His mother, noticing that Seifer becomes happy after each fling, lets him be because she wants him to be happy most of all. Zer0
