She must really like him if she doesn't mind he's a pervert.
When I look at the possible future of the couples I always see Seifer as a model and dance instructor by day, and Renee's vigorous snuggle bunny at night all night long. Yet for some reason I don't see them having kids.
Other characters I could see James and Lydia having a kid last.
While Echo and Johnny would probably have the most kids.

I think it's because I don't see a father figure in Seifer.

I can see Johnny in sort of a wife fashion since Echo is the strong one, but I think that image will reverse. It reversed when Echo was the one calming him down when they were reunited.

I think the reason why she doesn't mind him being a pervert is because she's the type who likes to show her affections physically. You know, with the hugs and forehead kisses. Always moving around to clean and cook. Even when she was caring for the soul vials in her basket, Renee always has this need to hold them. Same with checking Seifer's body while he was in a coma. She always touched his wrist and neck to check and make sure he's still alive.

Yeah, I think she gets it that Seifer's perviness is how he shows affection. James just thinks Seifer's just trying to get into her pants, but if that was so he would be insistent and impatient instead of just letting Renee go at her own pace.

To be honest, I kind of do see Seifer as a parental figure somehow, just not at this moment because of what's going on with him and trying to recover his human nature. It's going to take some time, yea, but I can see him doing things for his kid(s) what his own father wouldn't do for him.
I don't know, maybe it's the Ren in my brain that's talking, but I can see him as a potential parent who will support his family in his own way. Like he will do his best to see his kid's moments of glory because he wants his child to feel acknowledged by him, unlike how his own dad did not. He wouldn't bound his kid either, instead he would just let them go and just watch over them within a distance as Renee will be watching close by. Somehow I could even see him be very affectionate with his kid too with hugs and kisses on the cheek and teaching them how to be aware of their surroundings so they wouldn't be taken advantage of and how to spot a good person versus a bad person.
He would probably be the first one to educate his kids about sex without really making it seem like it's awkward and such a sinful thing. Because he understands that making love is a thing between two people who really love each other and lusting is just having an escape.

Yea, I think so too. Maybe it's because she could tell that he's respecting her pace is why she let's him touch her so intimately. Just knowing that he's respecting her pace makes her happy and calm enough to trust him. Which I think that's why she wants to defend Seifer from James unlike before when other guys would stare at school. Remember? Her clothes used to break from behind because of her transformation and she let James glare at others and cover her up?
If she didn't feel comfortable with Seifer, she wouldn't have froze up. She wouldn't have followed him in the gardens. Nor would she even suggest of going to the hot springs together. Ren would just let her brother be a guard dog to her...virtue and not complain...but she's defending him and letting him go on with the touches.

Oh so that's why she's okay with him touching her. I never knew why since there was never another guy who went after Renee like that. I wonder how Wé is going to react to them. If she's going to be like James I'm going to laugh.

Yea...which made me wonder if Sophie or Howl or even the Witch of the waste has told her about relationships? Since Renee did ignore any guy that stared at her and never had someone go after her like that. Or did she notice her parents being all snuggly before the dragon egg thing happen and made a conclusion all on her own...
If We does react like James, I'm laughing too. They are too similar in that case. XD

Because the witch of the waste is a very stubborn person too. Howl would just run away if it doesn't work out. XD Maybe I can make James like him so that it'll be funny, but I think it's too late. He lost his ex because of different priorities instead of running away.Hmm. Yea....I can see the Witch of the Waste being like "Okay, Renee. Listen to this old croon.
