If it's to be efficient in combat, I suggest putting them all under engineering.

*Laughs wildly* oh man, Lydia has some good offensive but relatively harmless spells for this. xD

Oh, the freeze thing could be good. Stop the enemy when they are going to attack. xD shrinking too, shrink the snowballs before they hit.

Basically, you just type what you want your character to do and Zer0 rolls to see if it actually happens. xD however many abilities you have in one category determines your success and she rolls 1d10. So like... Lydia for example, for spell casting she has a 1-9 chance that it's going to hit. So Zer0 has to roll a 10 for her to fail her attack. I think the base is like 1-3 but I can't remember. Lydia used to miss ALL her spells basically. xD that's where her title "Tiny but Mighty" came from. She fought an orc and knocked him out with her mace. Basically all of her mace attacks hit for some reason and that was always the attack she fell back on when her magic didn't work.
