I agree it's within the party and all, but I honestly think this warlock is not James but someone else. Besides what's happening with SeiferxRenee is also during the party. Same with James. I don't think that happened after the party, it's during too, I believe. My theory is that this warlock is someone who knows about the stones. Like maybe...the one who assigned Hisaya to study about philosopher stones.
