Fandom How to Train Your Dragon: Discovering Darkness (character sheet)

This is the character sheet for the main thread that will be up after I have certain rolls taken up. We need at least Hiccup and Astred as they are the current chief and his wife. Those of you that want the roles, please pm me.

If you need more info on your dragon, here are two sites you could go to: site 1, site 2 However! I will not limit you to just these. You can also create your own dragon but you will have to fallow the guidelines the world has already set. Your dragon will not be OP and have unlimited shots or anything like that. If you wish to create your own dragon please pm me so that I have a heads up.

  Personal style: She tends to have a bit of a dramatic flair but it's the small details that she enjoys so much because people tend to miss them and it always comes as a surprise when those little details she puts into her clothes come in handy. Like a special hidden pocket, or a detachable hook that looked like it wouldn't come off. Small things like that make up most of her outfits. Her hair tends to have that same attention to detail but it's fairly easy to do though once you've seen it done.
  Personality: Serenity has always been a little strange compared to the other children of the village.

  About: Once thought of as the "unholy offspring of lightening and death itself," Nightfuries have been shown to be more of giant, winged cats than the stuff of nightmares. They are extremely protective of their own. The species is very rare and have yet to be recorded much beyond what Toothless had once provided.
  Hidden Abilities: Nightfuries possess an echolocation sense not unlike radar or sonar. When flying through dark or cramped environments, Nightfuries issue a plasma blast in all directions. When the plasma bounces off the nearby terrain and returns to the dragon, it gives them an incredibly accurate reading of the surroundings.

  Bio: Serenity was found on the doorstep of the chief one night. Toothless had alerted the family of the crying infant and protected her until Hicup came and collected her. They coud not find the one that left her there but found a note tied to the little girl's neck. "Please, great chief, take care of her. She will be of help to you one day. Her name is Serenity." that was all the note said. Astred and Hiccup looked at one another then at the children they already had and thought long and hard about what they should do. Toothless was quite happy to have the little girl in the family and since that was all that Hiccup really needed, he picked up the infant girl and took her in. She became adopted by the chief family and raised as one of their own but there was always something off about her.
  
  As she grew older the more like Hiccup she became but then again not. She was reclusive and quiet, but brilliant when it came to dragons and crafting. She would help her adopted father out in the forge, making saddles, weapons, teeth and whatever else the town needed. She was a hard worker and it showed every day but as the years passed it became a bit noticed that she was still without a dragon. None of the dragons that didn't have partners didn't want her even though she was sweet to them and they liked her, none of them took her as their partner and she became a bit estranged. Whispers spread that she would never find her dragon and that it was the reason that she was given away like she was. Even her siblings kind of kept their distance from her and would pick on her from time to time, but because of Hiccup and Astred they had to treat her like family.
  
  It wasn't until a couple of years ago that she would come to know her partner. She was walking through the woods of a distant island that had yet to be discovered by Hiccup. She was given a ride by Toothless since Hiccup was busy with chief duties and didn't have time to fly the Nightfury and Astred had things to do with Stormfly as well, it was a good set up. However, during this trip of discovery Serenity came across white scales and feathers. This beast was astounding to her and when their eyes met, they knew that they were soul partners. Serenity had found her dragon. What was even more of a surprise, was it was a Nightfury. A female, white Nightfury! It was amazing and when she returned with both dragons the clan was even more weary of her since she was another Nightfury rider. Like her adopted family!

  Personality: Arvid in his lycanwing form is a completely changed being. Vicious, and bloodthirsty there is nothing he enjoys more than a kill
  Fire Type: smelly, acidic white lava, that is better for tagging, than killing.
  About: A weredragon. Arvid can become a lycanwing whenever he wishes, although it is mostly only a last resort due to his hate of his more monstrous side.
  Hidden Abilities: Heat oriented vision like a snake.

  Bio: Arvid was raised with his mother, and father. Both of his parents were woodsmen. Heavily relying on nature for their food, and wares. This independence was a blessing, and a curse. After the dragon wars had long ended the unthinkable happened. The cabin where Arvid's family lived was attacked by a dragon. A terribly rare species with an insatiable aggression. The dragon killed both of Arvid's parents, and left a deep venomous bite in his leg. Arvid hid from the dragon in the forest. The venom in a lycanwing's bite did one of two things. It either gave the victim, an extremely slow painful death, or passed on the infection, and changed the victim into a lycanwing themself. Arvid got the latter. On the night of the full moon he had his first change. His beast self raided the village, until Gobber, and the dragon riders finally subdued him.
  
  You could imagine their surprise when the dragon they'd defeated turned into a boy. They took pity, and allowed Arvid to stay around the village so long as he learned to control himself. Spending his full moons in the dragon academy to keep the village safe. Arvid can control his dragon form's actions on any other time than the full moon, but he still wishes for nothing more than a cure to what he sees as a terrible curse.
