Fandom Homestuck Roleplay: Sburb Omega

For ectobiology, I have two suggestions.

First option: The kids' guardians somehow know about Crocia's origins, and they get to the lab first and lock coordinates on her ancestor somehow (jury-rigging the machine, perhaps?) to accommodate cloning.

Second option: The game detects a troll in their party, and so as they enter, the ectobiology equipment in the labs is modified to be compatible with trolls as well as humans (i.e., it can lock to targets on both Earth and Alternia, etc.).

Ok, so, first order of business is deciding how exactly the Ectobiology in this session works. In this case, we have one odd man out in the form of the troll Crocia. In this instance we'll need to obviously think it through.

The Guardians (who I'll get into at a later date) are five in number without counting Crocia because she comes from a different place entirely (since she was created on Alternia as an extra copy of herself and then sent to earth) which makes for the question as to how a fifth extra Paradox clone was made to make an even set of six.

My suggestion is simple in how we have a simple half paradox clone, while there are the original four, one of the guardians is mixed with two different people, aking a fifth paradox clone.

So Crocia would be created as a duplicate of a Troll from A2, then being shipped off to the Human B1 session where she would live and eventually play the game while the other kids were made from a natural Paradox clone process and one happens to be a half brother of one of the airs to make five paradox children with Crocia included to make a gran total of six.

So the guardian of one of the two human girls contributes her DNA twice?

Wouldn't that also theoretically create two of that girl?

Here's a diagram of what I think Elision meant:

So, setting aside Crocia and the first normal pair of paradox brother/sister, there are three people left, hereafter designated A (Boy 1), B (the last girl), and C (the odd boy out). For the sake of this description, their guardians are GA, GB, and GC.

Assume GA and GB's ghost imprints create A and B, two children. To create C, GB's DNA has to also combine with GC, but wouldn't that also create two children?

In the last pairing of your diagram, the mixture of DNA only produces one child instead of two. Are we to assume it's a "special case" and paradox space meant for it to work that way?

Looking at the diagram, it seems like Ancestor 3 was added by possible mistake. This could result in only one child who would take form of child 5.

I suppose it would work inherently so because of Crocia's role to play as the sixth child and admittedly that is how we'll have to deal for now. Jut bending the rules really.

Well Ancestor 3 could possibly by our troll's ancestor, who could have been desperate to leave behind a descendant. Looking at it that way, Ancestor 3 could have mixed DNA with Male Ancestor 2 in hopes of creating one. Looking at genes, Trolls mixed with humans would probably be the more dominant to show within the species. Resulting in only one player.

Interesting suggestion, Amph, it has me thinking...C's hypothetical sister, D, we'll call her, could be an additional plot device. Villain, perhaps?

Oh god hop aboard the enigma train of Paradox Space.

So, by natural cause this would cause for an actual existence of six paradox clones and one remains left to be seen while Crocia takes her place?

Yeah, but looking at the players of this session, we're kinda not going to win. We have no Time player which is needed in every session.

Here's an idea; what if the prototyping worked fine, with 6 ancestors and 6 descendants, except 'D' ended up somehow getting sent to Alternia by accident (mirroring Crocia) and never had the chance to join the session?

Ah, well we can win then possibly. The Prince and Bard are the two players though that will make it a nice, fun challenge.

And then they would join the Trolls Alternian session while Crocia joined the Humans.

If we augment Crocia's backstory we can say that she was just a paradox clone who got sent to the wrong portal. So the switcheroo happened and now there's a Troll in the Human session and a human in the troll session.

Especially since the Prince is a Prince of Space, that'll be a fun Frog Breeding.

But Katherine (On Triangle) is a Rogue of Time, meaning taht her powers may gravitate to literally slowing down the flow of time and managing the game so taht they can always make it.

So they switched roles as well as lives in the Respective sessions. Okay, I think I got this.

Prince's of space are often known as contradictions in my mind. Space is symbolized as creation while Prince's only destroy, lacking creativity additionally.

I had a troll OC once who was a prince of space. He loved guns and weapons, and while he was frog breeding he was attacked and accidentally blew up the frog, dooming the session.

The switcheroo looks manageable, plot-wise. I can roll with it.

But only if I get to play 'D' as well. :P

That is, if she ever needs to be played.

Well he'll be a handy ally in combat, at least. If he ever makes god tier.

Good, now that we have all of that settled let's get onto another subject of the Guardians gender Ratio which is vastly uneven, we need to accommodate and make an even number, counting number six as a girl because Crotia's guardian doesn't come into play.

Bards of Life to me seem like the type to avoid any confrontation until they have a breaking point. (i.e. Gamzee's Messiahs and Cronus's faith in Magic)

Even though admittedly her Ancestor would still be a girl.

Let's see here.

We have a ratio of Four Women to Two males. I'll change my character's Guardian So it is male, which makes an even 3 to 3. Plot settled.
