He managed to wake up when coco brought Mari over and he lay there quietly watching her play on her moms lap just staring at his little girl scared out of his mind that he wasn’t gonna make it for them. “I wanna-“ he grunted a bit and reached for her some.

She frowned but nodded and headed upstairs quickly, holding her phone tight and ready to call 911 just in case but she stayed silent listening out for his voice.

Max smiled as Coco came in and quickly took her girls into her arms "Oh Ive missed you two." She said softly looking over at Angel giving a small nod when she got what he meant. She placed Mari in his arms and smiled softly as she instantly squealed and cuddled in close to him "Someone missed her daddy."

EZ frowned as he saw Bishop and glared at him "What the hell prez?! You didnt have to scare the shit out of us." He said calling for Val to come out

He frowned some just trying to hold her as much as he could, falling asleep agains with her in his arms while she too fell asleep.

Coco frowned watching his best friend, shaking his head some. “He don’t look good.” He muttered sighing heavily.

Val wandered downstairs after ez called to her and frowned seeing bishop there telling EZ he needed to go see his brother and that he would stay with val.

Max sighed heavily giving a small nod "I know...Im scared he wont make it through the night." She admits looking over at Gracie as she played quietly with her dolls.

EZ frowned giving a small nod before he pulled Bishop aside to explain what happened with the VM and went off to the hospital.

Val frowned watching him go then turned to Bishop, going to sit on the couch. “Have you had any luck? I just want my baby boy back in my arms.” She whimpered some. “Wheres EZ going?”

Coco frowned shaking his head some and sighed heavily. “They haven’t been able to find James. Bish went to get EZ to come here for a bit then tomorrow we’re all heading out. Hoping we can find where they’ve got him, the girls are still staying with letty and Chucky.” He assured her.

Bishop nodded sighing heavily sitting down with her "See his brother, they're not sure he'll make the night." He murmured giving another sigh "We're going to find him míja I promise."

Max gave a small nod "Alright...be careful alright? Need you all coming back in one piece." She said quietly giving him a hug before he took the girls back just as EZ was coming in.

Angel was waking up again and looked over at max with his brother frowning some and just managing to open and close his fist a couple times in an attempt to reach her but he no longer had energy enough to speak

She frowned shaking a bit. “He must be so scared right now, I just want him safe and home with me.” She whimpered shaking f some

Max sighed softly giving him a small smile holding his hand some "Hey handsome." She said quietly kissing his hand gently

EZ gave his brother a small smile "Hey Angel." He said quietly terrified for his brother and for his son

Bishop nodded some giving a heavy sigh "I know, but he will be okay I promise." He murmured

Angel frowned watching max carefully and glanced over to ez when he heard his voice nodding a little before passing out again, a couple alarms going off as well while his doctor stepped into the room to get him stable and make the necessary adjustments looking over at max and frowned. “He needs to rest or he’s going to cause himself irreparable damage.” He explained. “It’s up to his body at this point to heal.” He left them to it after that.

Val just nodded and frowned some trying to believe it herself just wrapping her arms around her knees and staring at the blank tv.

Max gave a heavy sigh and nodded some "I see." She whispered before looking at EZ worriedly "Im worried EZ." She said softly

EZ nodded and kept his eyes on his brother "Yeah me too." He murmured

Bishop sighed staying with her the entire night before EZ came back in the early morning

Angel woke up early and glanced over at max seeing she was coming back in with a third coffee just reaching for her. He’d been in agony all night and he was just desperate for it to end but he was still there at least. “Want... girls.” He grunted some and just tried to keep breathing steady but his fever had climbed sky high over the past couple hours and they had been strict about saying the girls couldn’t come anywhere near him right now.

Val frowned seeing him walk in while she sat in the kitchen staring out the window waiting desperately for some kind of news. “How is he?” She asked him softly, reaching for him to come closer. With everything so up in the air she needed comfort and she knew he did as well. As hurt as she still was she also loved him still and she knew they could comfort each other.

Max shook her head softly and gave a heavy sigh kissing his hand "Im afraid they cant come babe." She whispered kissing the top of his head as well "I love you babe, its going to be okay."

EZ went to her and gave a heavy sigh huggimg her close to him "We're going out to find him today. I want you to be with Chucky and Letty today alright? Staying safe." He murmured not wanting to talk about his brother right now

Val frowned and shook her head not wanting to be around anybody else. “No I’m not-“ she cut herself off when he snapped at her harshly

He frowned some and just watched her while they came in to change bandages on him, “when home?” He grunted a bit just wanting to get home with her and the girls instead of here. Being here scared him to no end.

Max gave a soft sigh and sipped at her coffee "Im not for sure babe, we'll have to wait and see." She said quietly

EZ frowned and shook his head "You will do as I say Valería!" He said harshly giving her a small glare "I am not having you alone right now understand?"

She flinched away from him and just shook her head. “Well we wouldn’t be in this situation in the first place if I hadn’t listened to you to begin with so that’s not exactly a selling point!” She yelled back at him, sitting down again and shaking, pulling out a cigarette.

He frowned some tugging on her to lay with him. “Here.” He muttered. “Please.” He put his puppy dog eyes on as much as he could once they finished rebandaging him

EZ sighed heavily shaking his head some "Fine, stay and keep a fucking gun on you because I dont know whats going to happen." He muttered before heading to the door to grab his keys

Max nodded softly and kissed his cheek before she moved to lay with him sighing softly "We'll get you out of here soon enough okay?" She said quietly

She shook her head and jumped up getting spooked a bit and rushed over to him holding onto him tightly. “Please... be safe.... bring our son home with you.... and then we can sit down and talk.” She told him, kissing his cheek.

He just nodded and frowned some, resting his head against hers. “Love you.” He mumbled tiredly. “They .... fine.... Brian?” He slurred our.

Max frowned some shaking her head "They havent told me anything. So Im not sure as of yet." She explained

EZ softened some and gave her a nod "I will. I promise." He said quietly before he kissed her forehead gently and went out

He just nodded a little and watched her quietly until he passed out again. If he hadn’t had her and Mari to be there for he would have given up the moment he’d been hit but he needed to be there for his girls and he wasn’t about to let his body give up yet.

Val frowned and let him leave going to try and occupy her mind for the time being just wanting nothing more than her family back safe, feeling sick with worry.

Max gave a heavy sigh and kissed the tip of his head crying quietly as she held him just scared out of her mind that she would loose him.

EZ got with the guys sighing heavily as he gave them all the information needed before they went off for their run.

His nurse popped in and checked him over making notes on his chart before passing max a couple tissues. “I know this must be incredibly stressful for you but he really is in good hands here we’re doing everything we can for him.” She explained to her making a couple more adjustments before leaving them to privacy again.

They all wanted nothing more than to get James found and get him home and val knew that but it didn’t stop her pacing for hours on end.

After a long search through everywhere they’d gotten information on they were at an old warehouse and everyone was looking, a couple rooms had people in them who had also been taken by the VM but none of them so far had seen or heard of a little boy being there until Gilly yelled for EZ “i got him!” He shouted through the warehouse to try and get EZ to hear him. James was passed out in a tiny room in the dark by himself and freezing cold, not doing well at all

Max nodded and wiped her eyes some "Thank you." She said quietly trying to possibly get some sleep next to him but it didnt seem to be working well

EZ heard Gilly as he searched and rushed off to find his son taking him in his arms "Oh buddy oh god Im so sorry." He whispered rushing him to the van.

“Is he okay?” Bishop asked him, frowning when he saw the state he was in. “We need to get him to a hospital.” He said quickly nodding to Riz to drive there in the van helping EZ get his hoodie off and wrap it around him to try and get him a little warmer, coco, Gilly and Taza we’re staying behind to sort everything else out and Bishop would head to pick up Val.

Angel came to again a little later just laying there in silence, watching her and squeezed her hand gently. “I love you.” He grunted quietly, closing his eyes but still awake.

Max gave a soft smile stroking his cheek gently "I love you too babe." She murmured yawning some

EZ held his son close trying to keep him as warm as possible taking deep breaths "Im sorry buddy."he whispered repeatedly to.him. they rushed him inside once they got to the hospital "Help me please!"

They took James off him almost immediately and left him waiting out in a private waiting room, questioning him for ages on what had happenws until val arrived as well looking panicked. “Where is he? Where’s my little boy?” She asked shaking and held onto EZ tightly.

He smiled some squeezing her hand again just frowning a bit as his head start pounding.
