Fantasy High School for the Insane

"Amazing! I've never heard it played better." Aaron complimented. He took a moment to calm down and went silent. "Hey, if you don't mind me asking," Aaron paused and scratched his head. "Why are you here?"

@Talon

"This school. I've noticed that most of the students are...insane, to put it bluntly. And so far, you're only the second person I've met that seems normal. So, yeah, why are you here, at a school for crazy kids?" Aaron elaborated.

@Talon

He wakes up, as always he's groggy and dazed. He gets himself ready for the day, changes clothes, takes a shower, etc. After all that is done he walks out of his room, locking the door behind him. Making way to the cafeteria Cody continues looking around, seeing if there's any new or familiar faces. After a moment or two of walking he enters the cafeteria where he grabs a cup of coffee and a bagel. Like yesterday he finds a nice, unfrequented table to sit down at and start his day.

Slowly Elizabeth sat up, stretching her arms above her head. It was strange, she hadn't slept so well in a long time. It was like a dead sleep. Rubbing at her eyes she opened them to see... a room? Her eyes jumped back and forth in confusion. How the hell did I get here? Her eye patch had been removed and sat delicately on the bed side table. She was in the same clothes as yesterday. Taking another scan over the room she noticed her bag sitting by the closet. Her confusion had reached its peak until she saw a note on the table, sitting next to a set of keys. "Ms. Laughlin" was written on it in swirling, black, letters. Getting up from the bed she made her way to the small coffee table and grabbed the note.

Welcome to Rosemary High,

It's customary that students sleep in their rooms.

We apologize for any inconveniences as we had to sedate

you for not only your safety but the safety of the staff when

moving you. Along with this note you will find the key to

your room (the one you are currently in) and your schedule.

We hope you have a wonderful day

Headmaster Jones

Elizabeth simply stared at the note. She felt like she should've been angry or feel violated, but in all honesty she didn't care. She got her papers, found her room, and avoided having to explain why she didn't go and get it in the first place, so to her it seemed like a plus. Casually dropping the note back on the table she grabbed her bag and headed towards the bathroom.

After giving her hair time to dry she exited her room, key and schedule in hand.

After finishing his coffee and bagel Cody walks back outside to the bench he and Elizabeth were sitting on yesterday. Sitting down on said bench he rummages through his pockets pulling out a pack and a lighter, as usual he lights it up and sits back, he's enjoying his morning already. After a second or two Cody notices the sun coming out from a big cloud, the warmth feeling quite awesome. "What a beautiful morning." He says to himself, thoroughly enjoying himself.

Walking in to the cafeteria Elizabeth quickly snatched an apple then made her way outside. She adjusted her eye patch, making sure it was secure before stepping out into view of others. She let her eyes close, a small smile coming over her face, as she took a deep breath. "I never expected this place to be so nice." When she opened her eyes her aqua gaze spotted a familiar red mask. With a soft laugh Elizabeth made her way over to Cody and ssat beside him. "Good morning."

"Hey! Good morning, another beautiful day huh? Makes you forget you can't exactly leave." A smile creeps on his face, seeing Elizabeth again put him into a good mood, he likes talking to her. He looks over to her, his yellow eyes meeting hers, "Did you sleep well?" he asks. A breeze of wind rushes past them which causes Cody's hood to fall off his head, revealing jet black hair which is fairly short.

She laughed softly. "Exactly, make us think 'why would you want to leave?'" She held his gaze with a gentle smile. "Pretty good, though I went to sleep and woke up in a room. Slept like a rock nonetheless." She took in the sight as Cody's hood slipped down: black hair that stuck out somewhat wildly in the charming way only boy's hair could be. "What about you, how'd you sleep?" She asked casually still examining the newly visible part of him.

(AFK hopefully will be back soon!)

He laughs at her response, although he thinks she is completely right. Why would I want to leave? This school is a community full of individuals who are like him. Maybe the fact that he's comfortable with insanity is what makes him insane? Even he doesn't know. But he puts those thoughts aside and focuses his attention to Elizabeth, which he would prefer anyways. Noticing she's examining his hair he runs a hand through it, grinning. "Can't control it really, it's wild like it has a mind of it's own. I slept pretty well though, the couch I have been crashing on is surprisingly comfortable. Have you met your room mate? Well..if you have one, I know some people have their own rooms."

(Alrighty!)

"I like it." She said referring to his hair. She itched to run her fingers through it, but knew that would come across very strange. "And no, I haven't met my room mate, but there's another bed in there so I assume I might have one." She shrugged. "Maybe I don't and it's just there. I guess I'll find out. I don't really get along with girls though." She added, more so thinking aloud.

Clair O'Reilly / Combat and survival teacher

Clair had gotten a coffee from the staff lounge and was making her way towards the combat room to begin class. (anyone who wants to partake can do so)

Evan chuckled softly and turned back to the piano. "Dont judge a book by its cover." He started playing softly. "We're all insane here..." With that said he played louder and faster, a song that souded like something out of a horror movie. @BlightGiver

"Thank you, I like your hair as well!" He appreciates her compliment, and as he was about to say more he stopped himself viewing a teacher passing a window. They appeared to be going to their classroom which intrigued Cody. "Huh..this is the first teacher I have seen so far, I wonder if we came in at the end of a break." He wonders out loud, he looks back to Elizabeth giving her a smile and saying, "I'm going to go speak with that teacher, maybe a lesson is starting, which is something I've been curious about. If you would like to accompany me, I wouldn't mind at all."

Elizabeth followed his gaze to the female teacher. She was a young teacher, she bet the teacher got a lot of crap from her students. On the other hand she seemed like a tough person. "Sure, getting some information would be nice." She stood up and followed Cody towards the main building. She took one last look towards the sky, admiring the clouds floating across the brilliant blue sky before entering. Getting closer it was visible that the woman had a few scars and a dark look that Elizabeth would've simply put as unapproachable. Subtly she stepped closer to Cody, unsettled by the woman's look.

Once they get in close enough Cody calls out to the teacher, "Excuse me." He tries to keep his tone polite, seeing as she did seem to have something about her. Can't be too careful, he thinks to himself. Noticing Elizabeth stepping closer, Cody wondered if she was rattled by this woman's presence; either way he brings himself even more closer to Elizabeth, to show he's there for her and it's alright. The appearance of this teacher was strange to Cody, all the teachers he's encountered never looked battle worn.

Clair turned her head to the side when called out to , she stop when she saw that it was in fact a student that had called her. She shot the boy and his friend a smile "yes how may i help you two ?"

"Yes, I was just wondering if you were going to teach a lesson? We haven't seen any teachers the couple days we have been here until now, I thought we arrived during a break." He was hoping she would be starting a lesson, he was eager to see what exactly a school for insanity teaches; for some reason he doesn't believe it's all normal studies.

Elizabeth smiled at Cody, feeling him step closer as well, aiding in comforting her. The woman did an entire 180, smiling kindly at them. She suddenly felt slightly guilty at judging her before knowing her. She always hated when people judged a book by it's cover, but there she was doing the exact thing she disliked. She listened to Cody explain; it made her question what sort of things they taught here.

Clair rubbed looked at both students and sighed "well I'm about to start the combat class , you can come along however I can't promise you'll survive the entire term." . Clair continued down the hall without another word allowing the others to decide if they wanted to follow or not.

He looks from the teacher to Elizabeth, contemplating what he wants to do. Cody isn't a newbie when it comes to combat, but he isn't exactly a professional either. Would she want to though? He thinks, referring to Elizabeth; he doesn't want her to feel unsettled again.

She looked back to Cody, curious if he would be into that. Most men were into combat, and she couldn't say that it didn't interest her either. "Do you want to go to that?" She looked back towards the teacher. "It sounds pretty cool. I wouldn't mind learning combat." Her gaze returns to Cody. Of course the teacher's comment on survival made her anxious she didn't want to hold him back, and maybe it would be beneficial to her.

He nods in agreement with Elizabeth's response and says, "Yeah, it seems like it should be fun, if not informative." He starts walking after their new combat professor, his body getting excited. It's been a while since he last saw any combat, and he is very curious to see how far into combat this lesson goes into. It's not every day you have a combat class in a school.

(I will be right back.)

Clair entered the combat room and waited for the two students to arrive , which after a few moments they did. Clair smiled resting her back against the left hand wall "so you decided to come ,very well first i want to see how both of you fare in hand to hand combat." Clair pinted to the padded area in the center of the room "You'll be facing each other for this one , if either of you go easy on each other it'll be fifty laps around the school yard"

Elizabeth smiled, happy to see Cody get so excited. Once in the room her smile disappeared. "Fight each other?" She turned to her friend. How would her react to what the teacher had said? Guess I should start running, she thought. She let out a soft sigh. "If that's what the class is about then I suppose we have little to no choice." She stuck out her hand to Cody with a smile. "May the best win."
