Also, who labelled the aliens ETs ICly? Like, any normal person would call them aliens just like real life. Nobody knew about them until this reveal. The military and government are going full Hitler on the population so they aint exactly the types you'd listen to. So what IC reason do the characters have to not just call them aliens? Cuz Vita's suppose to be a normal highschool girl, she's not going to go to 'ET' as her first name choice for aliens from outerspace. Kumii

There's a subtle yet HUGE difference between Extraterrestrials and aliens.
The term Extraterrestrials means outside of this earth or atmosphere. Aliens is a broader meaning of this term but for all intents and purposes, it's limited to the humans with powers being outcasted by the humans without theirs yet.

So some 15 year old Gen Z teen girl probably wouldn't even know what ET is. So to someone like that it'd be something like mutants and aliens, not aliens and ETs.

Levia told the fisherman that aliens are a hoax so that he wouldn't suspect her for being one. The fisherman is thinking she is referring to ETs while Levia is referring to people like herself. Levia knows the difference, the fisherman does not.

Well, humans have used a lot of names for aliens. Most people still just call them aliens. Well, in the end even if other characters do what the alien said and call them ETs, Vita's not that kinda girl. She's more the "Extra Terrestrial? So, like, aliens?" sorta gal.

I'd think of it more of some characters using laymen's terms, or simply more common terms for what ETs are, which is aliens. A character like Luna will probably always use the specific term so it doesn't effect me much, but I understand more laid back characters making the mistake.
