A Devourer is a type of ghost-werewolf that was created long ago via a combination of black magic and a werewolf couple. This species is mostly extinct due to being hunted down by humans and vampires, because they threatened both species to possible extinction. Like vampires and werewolves, these creatures can feast on blood, but also souls as well. Devourers are known extremely well to be bloodthirsty animals, with rarely few known Devourers showing even partial self-control over themselves.​

Raised like a normal child by his human father in the southern US, Danny always liked to watch horror movies and found enjoyment in talking about different pop culture creatures to his friends. This was ruined horribly by several letters which had been from various institutions for supernatural creatures, of which he found his father burning during the night. Confused and angry that his father had been lying about his mother dying in a car crash, Danny ran away from home to find out who his mother was. Eventually this search hit a dead end as he found the only known lead would send him into a nearby forest of which nobody is known to survive. It had something of a local legend, that whomever entered the forest would be eaten alive by a cruel monster, the body never to be seen again. Disregarding the pleas from his childhood friends, Danny went into the forest, which in turn forced his friends to enter fearing for his safety. It wasn't until an hour of endlessly quiet searching did Danny see an extremely large creature's face hover over him. Frozen with absolute terror, both his friends and he could not even breath as the creature chuckled at Danny's reaction towards it. The creature explained that it was his mother, and ordered him to let go his humanity. Quickly rushing to his aid, Danny's father put himself in between Danny and his mother, as though a shield protecting Danny against the creature. His father told him and his friends to run while he occupied the creature. Danny's mother proved this was futile, as she ran past his father, and killed two of Danny's friends. Seeing this caused such extreme pain, fear, and anger that Danny transformed into his monster form for the first time. It was only when he woke up several hours later, to see nobody but his mother, which was herself badly wounded. When asking if she killed them, she tried to back away from Danny with slight fear, as she told him how he had been the one who eaten everyone, not her. She had barely been able to calm him down, not to mention prevent him from going on a massive killing spree. Wailing and screaming with the guilt and sorrow at this truth, Danny punished himself by exiling himself from any humans, forcing himself to learn how to control his new found powers, choosing to live in the forest inside a deserted cabin. After several years, his mother convinced him it would be better to go to one of the several supernatural schools that had offered an education to him, as he needed to experience the outside world to truly know what is what he wished to do with his life.

Personality(Doesn't need much detail at all): Usually keeping to himself, Danny doesn't like to bother strangers unless he needs something or they speak to him first. Raised by his father to be a gentleman, he is polite towards women, often coming across as sweet or easy to take advantage of, depending on how you look at it. After his first time in his monster form and losing nearly everything due to his mothers careless actions, Danny has been distrusting towards non-humans, but at the same time has a unsatisfying curiosity about them as well. Due to having few things to live for, Danny will easily latch on to someone, and protect anyone willing to be friends with him with his life.
