Here's another prompt because Christmas is in less than a week (yippee): What would be your character(s) most favorite Christmas tradition? Would it be Christmas feasts? Putting up the tree? Playing in the snow?

Sonic
Since Sonic was born and probably grew up on Christmas Island, I imagine the holidays would be very nostalgic for him and maybe even a little overwhelming. Running across the snow would probably be his favorite. Depending on the type he can fly through fluffy snowflakes or slip around like a faun on ice. Having his trajectory change every few steps would be fun for him. Something that makes his movements jankier and slippery. I can imagine him spinning around with the biggest grin on his face, snickering to himself. Snow alone would be nostalgic; it was always snowing on Christmas Island.

He would also get into the feast. I'm sure running all the time breaks down calories pretty fast, making him need to consume more than anyone normally would. While chilidogs weren't implemented into the actual Sonic games till I think Sonic and the Black Knight, I still enjoy the idea of him being somewhat food-driven. Akin to real hedgehogs and how they will eat about anything you give them.

Kamukura
This would be his first Christmas, his first holiday, and his first time experiencing a season. The concept of it being new alone would make him more active in observing Christmas and participating in some activities. But it would be more formal and minimal. The type of putting one or two ornaments on the tree and calling that satisfactory enough to know what the activity entails. He sadly wouldn't hold any emotional value as the other characters, feeling more detached from Christmas than the rest.

His favorite would be the one that entertained him the longest. The feast might be new to him, as he most likely spent his life in the laboratory only being fed through tubes. I think the gift exchange would be his 'favorite'. You never truly know what you get in a gift, he has never received anything like it, and it would be the first time he owned items. Even something as mundane as a new tie would be catering to his formal sensibility.

Atsushi would honestly be, yes, designing the Christmas tree but also dressing up as Santa Clause. It's not just for him, because he never really celebrated Christmas just yet (next winter in the anime it will be), but also for Kyoka who had been living in a dark environment for so long she can't gather and express all of her emotions thoroughly. I'm pretty sure the Armed Detective Agency would actually try to make sure these two celebrated one of their first proper holidays well.

Dyggdfef I need to think a little more on what Ed’s favorite part of Christmas would be so for now here’s Shard’s.

Shard: So Shard most likely hasn’t celebrated Christmas before, but I imagine he’d be super excited to get in on the holiday action. As for his favorite tradition, it might be cheesy but I think he’d be most fond of sitting at the table to a family dinner. Like, sure he can’t exactly eat, but the simple gesture of inviting him into the home, giving him a seat and affirming that yes, you are apart of our family and someone that we deeply care for would just be so touching for Shard. Shard is a character that yearns for any form of family/community (tdsshfgsf like there’s this one panel of him literally looking longingly through a window as he watches Sonic’s family eat dinner together that is honestly just so comically sad it’s almost funny)

So I think with the holidays being all about spending time with your family, he’d appreciate any gestures related to affirming that he has a place within it.

I would say no. There really is no reason for it since you already have introduced him
