Yeah that’s how I feel and I always feel like people are less interested. I already have such niche characters that adding an OC to them might be oof. I don’t even talk much about my characters already cuz I don’t wanna bore people

That's honestly understandable ;; i feel like some spaces---especially in the past---have been pretty judgey and critical of ocs. I remember being constantly worried that my ocs would be accused of being mary sues or OP rip.

I won't pressure you or anything but if it makes you feel better oc and canon roleplays have been my thing since I first ever started role-playing.

I think I'm past the point of normal canon stuff. I've roleplayed ocs, I've roleplayed with other people's ocs. We've created entire relationships, histories and stories with our oc and canon shenanigans.

I think a feisty, emotional character interacting with a aloof and emotionless character actually makes for a really fun dynamic.

Kamukura isn't the type to just walk away from someone mid conversation, he was 'raised' too formal to be that inconsiderate. So you don't have to worry about him up and ditching your oc. He might just follow along with her to see where his observations take him. Like he does with Enoshima.

I give full permission for banter and character growth. It probably do Kamukura some good to be around people who arent exploitative of him.

I get that fr though luckily I'm less worried about being OP or a Mary Sue just more of whether she's interesting or not. It's always more of a concern in group rps that I worry

Oh I am by no means a strange to using my ocs in rp, just wary in fandom group rps. But I think I'll work on getting her bio all in order and post it later. She definitely won't exploit him and likely will be friendly, though wary because she is used to people discriminating her for being mixed race/half blooded

It just dawned on me that Danganronpa has the Ultimate Princess and by proxy of Kamukura artificially having every talent studied by Hope's Peak Academy this means he has the Ultimate Princess.

He can help Princess Andromeda with her ceremonial and diplomatic endeavors.

He can join her for afternoon tea so she doesn't have to attend alone. Kamukura, Princess Andromeda, and Ploegy's oc can just chill and eat scones, little sandwiches, and cakes while everyone goes into the Hell Dungeon.

Yeah, if Shroomie is okay with it, maybe we can have the larger dungeon group and a smaller group that remains at the castle with the Princess. This could be a fun way to flesh out the world of Vesper, having the more action-oriented and then the more political.

I prefer her making friends with Andromeda taking care of her medical needs and hang out with her. while I see her a potential friend to Kamukura and Ploegy’s OC. Then there’s running a running automail shop, learning from a black smith and Fauna maybe?

Honestly I made over 7+ ocs from the world my ccs are from, but I am not in the mood to just rant over it since I have an insomnia phase, so PASS IT TO THE NEXT PERSON
