Nicholas and Jayson finally came to his house. Nicholas wasn't surprised to see a pizza delivery car outside, the fridge being broken and all. He walked up to the door and tapped Shane's shoulder. "Hi! I'm Nicholas. That's my brother, Ken. Hey, how about you come inside." Ken's eyes widened as he waved his hands in front of him, signaling for Nicholas to stop speaking. "Nicholas, no. He cannot come i-" "Nonsense, bro! Everyone can come in! And look, I met a new friend. His names Jayson. Say hi Jayson!" Before Jayson could say anything, Nicholas pushed Shane inside and waved for Jayson to come in before closing the door. "Oh brother..." Ken muttered to himself.

 

[Daimao]

Olivia grinned. "Yeah, I'll get a beer. Not like I haven't got drunk before. Of course, Zero would kill me if he found out." She shifted herself closer to Konrad's chest which she butt-cancelled the recording. She didn't need Skull hearing this.
"By the way, there's someone I think you should meet. In my opinion, he's scarier than Tyrant."

Konrad raised an eyebrow. "Scarier than Tyrant? Easy for you to say, you don't have him in your head, taking control of your body whenever he wants to." He frowned. "I have never met anyone scarier than Tyrant. And I've met a lot of people." Konrad then turned towards Smoke's car. "Now lets go get some beers."

 

[Atom]

The three rounded a bend to find Large grey humvee parked.

"Hop in. I know a good place. Also it is impossible for scarier, than, and tyrant to go in the same sentence in that order." Smoke rasped.

"Nice truck," Konrad said, getting into the passenger seat, before he remembered that he was still carrying Olivia. "Looks like you're sitting in the back," he said, putting her down on her feet outside the humvee.

 

[Atom]

"Thanks." Smoke rasped, "I'd let you drive but I feel like I'd have to buy a new one. You can if you want though..." Smoke said, climbing into the drivers seat and starting it up.

Nicholas smiled and put his hands on his hips. "This is our place. It's not so spiffy right now, but I'm doing my best to fix it up. My friend, Jayson, is gonna help me. You wanna help too?" Ken was cradling his head in hi arms the whole time, trying to ignore how ridiculous his brother was asking. Nicholas went into his bag soon and pulled out a cable box before he went to working on the TV.

 

[Atom]

"I kinda gotta get back to work..." Shane said, stepping back towards the door.

 

[Daimao]

"Thanks." Smoke rasped, "I'd let you drive but I feel like I'd have to buy a new one. You can if you want though..." Smoke said, climbing into the drivers seat and starting it up.

"I've had thirty-eight vehicles. Thirty-seven of them have either been blown up, shot, crushed, melted, shredded, or dropped out of an aircraft. You can drive," Konrad said, leaning back in his seat.


'I don't remember being dropped out of an aircraft.'


'It was before I was possessed by you.'


'Oh...wait, I thought you were an archaeologist?'


'Ever heard of Indiana Jones?'


'No.'


'Remind me to show you the Indiana Jones movies when we get the chance.'

Alzora took a side set away from Lucien, letting out a bit of a sigh. Her hands started fidgeting with her handcuffs again, not trying to get out of them or anything of that ilk. They were just bothering her, pressed tightly on her skin. After a moment she just gave up trying to make them bearable and gave off a soft sigh of defeat.


After that she just looked over Lucien, through her hair like before so he wouldn't notice her doing so. She didn't get him, she couldn't tell what his game was. He just seemed so genuinely nice, she felt there was an odd alienness about it.

 

[Atom]

"I've had thirty-eight vehicles. Thirty-seven of them have either been blown up, shot, crushed, melted, shredded, or dropped out of an aircraft. You can drive," Konrad said, leaning back in his seat.

Anytime she tried to talk to him, he would shut her down. Her eyes looked over at the Smoke guy. "What business do you have with Zero anyways? I'm still not letting you hurt him."

Zero turned to one of his men working at the radio. "Send a signal to Skull. The ghost might not get Olivia in time so we have to have a backup plan. Tell him to grab her and go, we don't want to hurt Tyrant, er, Konrad."

 

[Atom]

Olivia didn't bother putting on her seatbelt. She leaned in the corner and opened her phone. [Message from Skull: Leave me alone, twit.] She sighed. Anytime she tried to talk to him, he would shut her down. Her eyes looked over at the Smoke guy. "What business do you have with Zero anyways? I'm still not letting you hurt him."

Smoke brought the vehicle to a slow stop, turning, "When the time comes... You won't stop me. I won't kill him. But he owes me for this..." Smoke rasped as he pulled his mask away to reveal his face again. "He did this... He will pay for it..." Smoke rasped.

Olivia didn't cringe or flinch. "I think it suits you well for trying to hurt Zero. Plus, that wasn't my question. What business do you have with him? What is your history?" Her fingernails lit up with frost and her eyes hardened with suspicion.

 

[Dagfinn]

"Ya, I guess it wasn't. Hopefully, we'll be able to come back soon and I can show you the armory! It's awesome!" Blake did a little dance before clearing his throat and walking back to the elevator panel. "Come on, we might as well get back to the mansion now."

"Hurt him? Pah, not yet. I once helped him. You know how I know he's Ace? I erased him. I was a hacker then. One of the best. He hired me to erase all records of Ace. To make him non-existent. I did too. I did it Damn well. No trace at all. You know how he paid me? He blew me up! He gave me this wound! Tyrant already told me just not to kill him so I'll be damned if I let you get in my way." Smoke growled.

"Konrad, they said he was dead. They said they found his body. Even if it is Zero, why would he try so hard to hide it from Zion and I?"

"Whose the liar girl? The one who left you or the one who bears the scars of his treachery." Smoke asked with a raspy chuckle before be continued driving, arriving outside a bar.

"Olivia," Konrad said in a menacingly sweet voice. "If you can hold off on killing someone until after I get a fucking beer, I'll do whatever you want. Just please let me get a drink first," he said, before getting out of the truck and walking into the bar.

Skull laughed and approached the helicopter pad. He leaped in and pointed towards the sea. "To the mansion, and quickly." The pilot nodded, a bead of sweat trickling down his forehead. "Y-Yes sir."

Olivia's hair fell in front of her face and she got out of the car, leaving her phone which was in pieces. She closed the door behind her and looked up at the bar. "Fine, I'll slap him after." Her hands moved freely out of her pockets. "I mean if I'm not drunk by then."

Ghosty had found Olivia already and was following them very closely but he was in the blind spot of Smoke's vision so he couldn't see him unless he turned. He was floating spinning just for fun and he thought that it was about time to jump in. He turned invisible for a verys short time (ghosts can do this but only for a short time.) He appeared next to Olivia and sat down in the car seat next to her. But he was too late. He had gotten in the car when she got out. He sighed and continued on his way. He was almost haunting the group an let a cold wind pass them. When they entered the bar, he possessed a person behind the three and was watching them closely, listening in on their conversation.

 

[Atom]

Smoke got out of the car, following Tyrant and Olivia as well as inspecting the area around them before leaving his mask in the car and going in last.

Jayson was trying to speak but Nicholas was going too fast for him. "What just happened?" He asked him.

Konrad took a large swig from his first beer.
