Nick had already left the room, not seeing a point in stopping the Defenders from leavin. He was a busy man, after all. Blake rushed over to Lucien's side and watched the wound heal. "Wow... That's.... That's..... Wow. I suppose I should have expected that from a healer, huh?"

Zero snapped his fingers and the men around him closed the latch and the submarine sank and started to move in the water. They wore black jumpsuits with a badge that read 'Z' in the upper left corner. "Somewhere safe, somewhere secret. I cannot reveal the location with my mouthy, just in case." Zion sat down in the corner, his hair out of place. His expression hardened and he looked at Zero. "Are we going to see Skull?" Zero turned around and placed his fingers on his forehead in annoyance. "I do not know. Skull has not contacted me, and you know that. So stop being a pest." He turned around and walked to the front of the sub. "Go deeper, I don't want to be seen." The sub sank a bit lower and Zero walked back to Scarecrow.

Scarecrow squinted hi eyes. "Why are you treating Zion like that? He is a child. He deserves to be respected and cherished." He floated over to Zion and said, "Hey. You ok?"

Zero chuckled. "Yeah, right."


Zion looked up and nodded. "I'm fine. You don't need to treat me like a child, Zero knows what he is doing. He saved me and I am grateful. I am just worried about Olivia. When we were leaving Konrad had her and they were talking to someone who I assume was our attacker. He cannot enter The Lab under any circumstances." Zion paused and leaned in closer to Scarecrow. "Could you get Olivia for me? There's no way we can get Konrad here without that guy following us."

Scarecrow nodded to Zion. "I'll try and get her. But how will I get her underwater? We would need a separate submarine. " he was completely willing to go te Olivia but he needed a plan for getting her to the lab.

Olivia looked up at Konrad. She slipped her finger from her rear pocket and pressed the recording button and slipped the phone back into her pocket.

Greed walked silently down the halls as the scientists looked at him with a surprised expression. His phone blinked twice and he flipped it open. Olivia had a live recording feed. He chuckled, quite fond of the predicament. "So now is the time you need my help Zero?" He laughed and more scientists gave an uneasy expression. He looked at them with a scowl. "Get back to work, you don't want to upset the big man do you?" He put the phone to his ear to listen to whatever she was trying to send him and shut himself back into the underground.


 

Scarecrow nodded to Zion. "I'll try and get her. But how will I get her underwater? We would need a separate submarine. " he was completely willing to go te Olivia but he needed a plan for getting her to the lab.

"There's a spare pod, but knowing her she's probably done something really stupid. I would hurry. The pod is in the back room."

"Ya, I guess it wasn't. Hopefully, we'll be able to come back soon and I can show you the armory! It's awesome!" Blake did a little dance before clearing his throat and walking back to the elevator panel. "Come on, we might as well get back to the mansion now."


 
Nicholas smiled at Jayce before sighing. "No, no... I don't.... I'm not ready to talk about it yet. Even after all these years, it's still to painful to talk about." Nicholas looked up ans continued to walk. "Were about five minutes away from my place."

Scarecrow floated to the back room very quickly and knew how to operate it because he is a badass mothereffer. He drove it to the deck by the reamins of the house and he brought it above water. He floated out of it and started to look for Olivia, whisper-screaming her name.


 
Jayson smiled and took his hand off of Nicholas' back. "Alright. It's fine." He continued walking in silence for a little bit. These are going to be a long five minutes. He thought to himself.

The guards hesitantly let go of Alzora, but she didn't do anything. She just stood there, looking over Lucien through her drapping hair.

"Only thing I'm planning on doing is going out to get a beer. Nothing more, nothing less. I've had a long fucking day," Konrad growled, massaging his temples with one hand as he continued to hold Olivia with the other.

"A beer? Well... I'm parked nearby actually. I can drive us there. Come on its this way." Smoke rasped, waving his hand forward as he started down the driveway.

Konrad watched Smoke walk away, before looking down at Olivia. "You want a beer too, or you gonna wait here?"

"Because she's going home with your group." Blake stared at Nick wide eyed before face palming. "Oh! This is probably an exercise thing, right? Your going to test us, right?" Nick walked up to Lucien and Blake, hands behind his back. "Wronv. I just need to free up space for more dangerous villains. So stay hete and when she arrives, a pilot will take you back to your mansion."
Ken sat in his chair, flipping through channels before the doorbell rang out. "No..... It can't be..... IT CAN'T BE!!" He stood and ran over to the door and pulled it open, surprised to see the delivery boy outside. "Ah! Okay, how'd you do it? Some kind of new pizza transport technology?" Ken let out a laugh and rummaged through his pockets, pulling out five dollars and some change. "Is this enough?"

"Shit five dollars? Not even a tip for a knockout delivery guy?" Shane asked, offended.

Alzora hesitated a moment longer, then walked forward. Not wanting to be shoved into the elevator.

Ken chuckled and went back into his pockets, looking for his wallet. Then it struck him. Where had Maya been this whole time? "I'm gonna kill that girl when she gets back, i'm gonna kill her!" Ken brought his hand out of his pocket along with a 10 dollar bill. "Sorry man, my sister stole my wallet. If I had more, I would give it to you but this is all I can scrounge up."

"Ah whatever, that works." Shane grunted, taking the cash and handing over the pizza.

Lucien followed, glad that Alzora was going without a fight. He leaned forward and whispered, "Don't worry. I'll make sure you're comfortable when we arrive."

Olivia grinned. "Yeah, I'll get a beer. Not like I haven't got drunk before. Of course, Zero would kill me if he found out." She shifted herself closer to Konrad's chest which she butt-cancelled the recording. She didn't need Skull hearing this.


"By the way, there's someone I think you should meet. In my opinion, he's scarier than Tyrant."
