"Then what do you suggest?" Raiden said back.


Eagle reached over and wiped Doritos from his hands and took a large chug of Mtn. Dew, "Use your new toy, the one I got the parts for and that we just built." Eagle said with a grin.


"You mean the egg?" Raiden asked.


"That's the one. And when you're done I'm picking up an odd disturbance nearby. I'm going to go in with the drone and observe. Route to it's location if you can when you're done there." Eagle finished, getting up from his computer set up to go prepare a drone.

 

[Atom]

"Just put us down when we get far enough away!" Lucien shouted.
Meanwhile explosions were heard mixed with sirens and screaming as the building exploded and caved in.

Alzora would notice an odd looking humming bird floating nearby watching the group of people although it seemed to be remaining in only one place. Closer inspection would make out that it looked odd.

Alzora watched the bird closely a few moments, then gave off a thick child breath. Freezing up the mechanics of the bird, dropping it down into the ground. She picked it up and examined it.


"Someone's spying on us...."

Ruby felt a sudden agonizing pain on her face. She screamed and began crying. She placed a hand on her face. "The burns..." She said.

Scarecrow saw Alzora and what she did. He chuckled. "Whoever you are, come out here. We won't hurt you unless there is a reason." He said to the one spying on them, making sure they weren't in The Woods.

 

[Atom]

Alzora watched the bird closely a few moments, then gave off a thick child breath. Freezing up the mechanics of the bird, dropping it down into the ground. She picked it up and examined it.
"Someone's spying on us...."

Before she could look closer it heated up and flared to life with a bright glare of magnesium. By the time it was done nothing left but a charred husk.


"Damn. Too close to them. I'll have to use the satellite feeds..." Eagle muttered, patching into an orbiting military satellite, quickly zooming in on the area.

Ruby felt a sudden agonizing pain on her face. She screamed and began crying. She placed a hand on her face. "The burns..." She said.

Lucien quickly grabbed her shoulders, "Calm down calm down! I can fix it, come over here and lay down." Lucien told her, trying to guide her over near the center of the roof top.

Ruby laid down exactly where he told her to. "It hurts!" She moaned loudly in pain.

"I know...I know. Just relax..." Lucien whispered as he held his hands over her face and they began to glow. The pain immediately went away, "Don't move yet. This will take a few minutes..." Lucien warned as he worked.


"Lucky you... there won't be any scarring this way." Lucien said after a moment.

Ruby chuckled. "Good thing. Don't want my pretty face to get scarred." She said smiling. "I...need a new hero name...." She said. "Scarlett's gone....what do you think of Ruse?" She asked.

We stand back up to push back.'" She said smiling. "I'm gonna become a better hero than you'll ever be. Sorry, but glowing hands and healing powers won't get you far." Pushing back feels good. She thought with a smile.

Lucien pulled his hands away and looked her directly in her eyes, "No. You didn't. I want you to shut up for the next few minutes and listen to everything I say and think about it." Lucien said firmly before continuing to heal her.


"I'm not talking about what I said after you slapped me. I'm talking about before. You need to wake up ruby. This isn't a game. If you're going to be a hero then you need to realize that people die when you make mistakes. You need to realize that a hero doesn't just whoop the bad guys. They save people. Realize this please. I want you to realize that you can't be a hero alone. You need friends. Team mates. People that you can trust and who can trust you. I'm sorry if I sound like an ass but...I don't want to see any of you die, especially you, and honestly I'm afraid that if you don't wake up soon that you will die. Ruby I need you to understand what I'm saying. I'm but trying to push you down. I'm trying to help you up..." Lucien finished.
