Ace nodded. "I just need you to check him out. I would ask you to kill him but he seems.. different. Just make him aware." Zion nodded as he took his last bite of the ham sandwich. "Sure, whatever." He got up and left, closing the door behind him. He reached for his grappling hook and zipped through the city. As he reached his last rooftop, he saw the guy Ace was liking about. He grinned and leaped down right behind him.
"How do you do?"

"What do you want?" Konrad asked, not bothering to look behind him as he kept walking. 'These mortals are such nuisances,' Tyrant said in Konrad's head.

Zion grinned. "I'd like to talk to you.."

"You're talking to me right now," Konrad replied simply. "I find it annoying."

Zion's face hardened. He moved to fingers sideways and a red car crashed in front of the man, blocking his path. "It's rude to talk with your back turned away." His eyes flicked with bloodlust. "Let's try this again. I'd like to talk to you."

"It appears that you are a superhuman. Good," Konrad said as he turned to face Zion. "What do you want?"

Zion's face relaxed again. "My master has a great interest in you. I believe they call you Tyrant right? He can help you Tyrant.. You can do more than just terrorism."

 

[Daimao]

Without warning, Konrad's hand lashed out, grabbing Zion by the face and lifting him off the ground. "If you know who I am, you should know not to trifle with me. What could your master offer that could interest me?"

Zion laughed, not intimidated. "Anything. That includes world domination. This world is about to become his. You can join. We're not asking you to serve anyone, we just want you to be part of it."

Scarecrow did not appreciate his Alzora spoke to him. He said in a booming voice, "Because you are in MY woods. What are you going here?" He was slowly starting to get irritated and if she did one more thing to annoy him, he would be her worst nightmare.

Alzora very calm and slowly slip the book into her bag, and brushed herself off before responding.


"The woods belong to no one," she said simply, calmly, "the woods is not an entity to be owned."

Zion laughed, not intimidated. "Anything. That includes world domination. This world is about to become his. You can join. We're not asking you to serve anyone, we just want you to be part of it."

Konrad continued to hold Zion, the frown on his face unchanging. "Is that so? Who is your master? My master would like to know."

Scarecrow summoned the crows from the forest to flock through the area they were in and said to Alzora, "The Woods belong to the Poltergeist God of The Woods! And that is me!" His voice wouldnt have been able to be traced because it sounded like it was coming from everywhere throughout The Woods. He let the crows fly everywhere, blurring out the vision of Alzora.

Alzora sat still, quiet, and seemed to be unfazed. Of course she was scared, scared shittless. But over the years she had managed to learn how to stay calm and unwavering. After he seemed finished she spoke up.


"My apologies, Poltergeist of The Woods," the apology sounded a bit stiff, but genuine, "not intended to offend."

Zion frowned. "Have you heard of Zero?"

Konrad's snake-like eyes began to glow as Tyrant took over. "Is that the name of one of the new false gods that you humans worship?" Tyrant asked.

Zion chuckled. He let himself off of Tyrant's hands and landed on the floor. "He is not a god, but he has power like one." Zone turned his head towards the newcomer. "You know Zero-sama? I assume you're a superhuman."

Zion moved his feet defensively and squinted his eyes in caution. "I do.. He has great interest in Tyrant here, please do not interfere or I will have to take you down myself."

"Power like a god? I grow tired of this pointless conversation," Tyrant growled, before Konrad's eyes stopped glowing. "Tyrant has spoken. I have nothing more to say," said Konrad.

"Humanity is already my enemy," Konrad stated. "You superhumans may be viewed as demigods by the rest of the populance, but I assure you, none of you are as powerful as you think."

Zion raised his hand in annoyance. He first looked at the newcomer. "SHIELD is a minor problem. If that's your main goal, YOU can deal with them." Zion then turned to Tyrant. "Remember I gave you a chance." Then he pulled out his grappling hook and disappeared.
