Ruby blushed even darker. "So, you let me kiss you because you thought I liked you....so you kiss every girl you think likes you?" She asked, folding her arms. She then looked at Alex. "Ok, Bar Perv, good luck with Izy!" Shae said with a smile.

Alex turned and glared at Ruby just as every window in the room exploded outwards, "I said...I have...A FUCKING NAME!" He shouted as a piece of glass the size of a fist shot past Ruby and embedded itself in the wall.

Ruby's eyes widened as she stumbled to the side, landing leaning on Blake. She said, nothing.

Ace laughed as the guards hurriedly put the money together. In the corner of his eye, he saw a little boy crying. He stood up from the counter he was sitting on and took a few steps towards him. He bent down on his knees and shot him. He got up and smiled. "That's better. Man, he gave me a headache. Well I gotta run but feel free to tell some heroes about this; haven't had a good fight in a while."' He grabbed the bags of money and walked out. When he passed the door, he slapped something onto the wall. It was a grenade.
After jumping the rooftops, and finally a fair distance away from the bank, he pulled out a small remote with four buttons. He pressed the first one and a loud 'boom' exploded from the area. The bank was in flames and he was happy. He hummed to himself, while walking back to his place with bags of money over his shoulders.

It seemed that Amarth was preparing to head back to his home to ge to get out of costume, when the explosion sounded. His head snapped towards the bank, his fist clenched. "The heck..." He growled, taking a leap from his covert position. Extending his cape, he gave the illusion of flying like a bat, really using his flight abilities. Someone must have had an explosive, or explosives inside of the bank... question is, who? More than likely, the bombing was used to cover up tracks...

Wrath twitched at the "fiend" nickname. "Really Gobby? I'm the fiend out if us two?" He stood up and went to his hidden closet. He got changed inside of it and came back out. He said to Goblin, "Where are we going Gobby?"

Blake stared down at Ruby as he fell onto her chest before he turned to Alex. "Okay, I think the best thing for you to do now Ruby is to call Alex Alex instead of Bar Perv.... Is that okay with you?"

Alex stared and Iyzebel could feel the anger coursing through him as she touched him, his entire body seething with it. Around them all the telekinetic energy Alex was using was becoming visible and taking on a dark red tinge as he stared at Ruby, waiting for her response to Blake.

Wrath glared at Goblin and took his hand off his his shoulder. "Ya. If it isn't far I could run there. Or I could take my chopper if it is far." He went to his desk and shuffled through a drawer and took out his keys to his chopper.

Alex let out a breathy growl and the energy faded. He calmed slowly and turned, hesitantly leaving the room.


Lucien hesitated and stepped forward, "You're hurt..." He said, pointing at Blake's shirt where blood was starting to show. A shard of glass had stabbed a bit into his chest.


"You as well..." He said, pointing at a large scratch across Rubys shoulder.


"I'm sorry about Alex... He... my only guess is he was disappointed. Earlier he seemed happy to be apart of your team but I guess the last few minutes with Ruby and you really disappointed him...I can see why though." Lucien said with a shrug to Blake.


"Allow me to heal?" He asked, holding his hands up.

"I... I know that you're disappointed. This isn't what you expected it to be, but nothing is as good as you hope. You've gatta make something of your own," Iyzebel said, trying to help him.

Blake sighed and moved Ruby off his chest. "Look, I'm gonna go get Gore. We don't have time for this. I'll see you guy's later." Blake looked to Alex and nodded before he walked out of the apartment. He pulled out his cellphone and dialed Nick's number.


"I see you skipped out on me."


"Not now Fury, I need you to send my suit to... I don't know, somewhere concealed. Just get it there."


"It'll get done. Why?"


"A guy named Gore. Just get it there, I need to stop this guy now."


"Fine. But were gonna talk later."

Wrath jumped out of the same window Goblin did. When he landed he rolled and walked to his garage to get onto his swaggy motorcycle. He was going about fifty miles per hour, following Goblin. He thought to himself, How could I beat him when I am the one who is following him? What a buffoon.

Ruby looked at Lucien. "What do you mean...by disappointment?" She asked, frowning.

Lucien looked around a moment to make sure Alex was gone before looking back at Ruby, "I haven't known him long but I can tell who he is. He's the kind of guy who's always wanted to be a hero. He saw a chance and he grabbed it. But it was before par.I even agree. You guys aren't taking this seriously at all. The first thing you did when you were better was call him a name that is quite frankly insulting. You showed no concern towards Gore being gone either. When he got mad about the name you didn't really seem to care and instead of looking towards Gore you began flirting with Blake. And when he came back to inform you he was leaving you called him the exact same name and continued to flirt. But the flirting isn't even bad to me. It's the lack of care you displayed. I want to ask you a question." Lucien said, looking into her eyes with a serious expression.


"How many innocent people do you think Gore has killed before today? That also angered Alex. You were being friendly with a murderer and acting like he wasn't that bad. Sure he didn't kill you, or Izy, or him. But what about the people he did kill? What about the people he's killed while you stood here flirting with Blake?" Lucien asked with a slight glare.


"If you want to be a hero, act like it." He finished before waiting for her reply.

Down in the main entrance a man watched Blake, wearing a gas mask and standing out due to everyone around him being creeped out.

Ruby glared at him. She then did something unexpected. She slapped Lucien hard across the face with the back of her head. "Get out of my apartment. I'm going to sleep." She said, frowning.

Lucien just shook his head, "Yea...I understand his disappointment. Do yourself a favor and stick to bartending. You're no hero." He said before going out into the hall.


"Come on guys. I need to talk to Blake and then we need to go somewhere." He said before going to the elevator.

Zero put the bags of money in his room and took off his mask. He was Ace now, just a regular young adult. "At least now, I can buy transportation for me to get away..." He rubbed his forehead in annoyance. "Now what?" He pulled his costume and put on a simple pair of dark blue jeans and a leather jacket along with dark sunglasses. Even though no one knew who Zero was, he still liked to keep himself concealed. He shoved his hands in his pockets and took the bus to the car dealership.

Blake had his eyes closed as he walked down the stairs, questioning some of his choices about the team when he bumped into a man. "Oh, I'm sorry sir. I didn't see you there." He noticed the man was wearing a gas mask. "Is there a gas leak or something?"
