    quirk description. she essentially has all the abilities of a shark. lu is a very strong swimmer and can breathe underwater. she is stronger than she looks and her jaw strength is insane! she is able to exert 1.6 tons with her jaw, giving her the ability to bite through many things including wood and flesh in one clean bite. she has a really good sense of smell too and is good at tracking people via their scents. her quirk is constant so there really is no turning it on or off.
    drawbacks she is really sensitive and susceptible to electric attacks. in super dry climates she is prone to overheating and drying out (causing her to faint) and needs to be doused in water or taken out of the dry climate asap. also a good hit directly on her nose will not just hurt but kind of stun and disorient her for up to 5 minutes depending on how hard she was hit. even the smallest hits directly on her nose mess her up even if only for 30 seconds.

    brief background. tallulah grew up the youngest sibling of 5. her household was always lively and she often rough-housed with her siblings. the family was very hands on and showed their affection through hugs or quality time, hence why she is so physical now. it's how she was raised. tallulah's family works as a coast guard unit under Calypso's agency. (calypso is a pro-hero who specializes in water-oriented things and operates on the coast.) lu's family have never been pro-heroes, they just work for one and use their abilities to help others on the water and keep the bay areas spiffy clean. tallulah is the first to not want to follow in the family business and instead wants to branch out and help others on a bigger scale. her family support her in this decision. lu has always been out-going and that has not changed. she always seems to have a toothy grin on her face no matter what the circumstances. she's like a little energetic ball of sunshine who is overly-excitable. she's very positive and always tries to lighten the mood. when she gets excited (which is a lot of the time) she talks really fast and needs a gentle reminder to take a breath and slow down.

    quirk description.
    This quirk allows the user to create a drug based sensation in those around them. Prince is able to affect his target through his smell, touch, and taste. Prince can only emit one type of drug at a time, so the target's reaction depend on which drug he decides to produce. The Highest humber of targets he has been able to take in is four, but that is extremely draining.
    The source of the sensation he projects is his bodily fluids. Wether it be saliva, blood, or plasma, the fluid inside him is the key to his power. These fluids allow him to have an irrasistable scent, and an even more alluring touch.
    He can only create the sensations of drugs he has consumed, which includes most counter-top drugs, LSD, Sedatives, and other much more potent drugs. Whatever drug effect he attempts to project on others will slightly effect himself as well.
    His body is set to produce a default drug whenever he is not actively attempting to produce a certain product. This default drug is nicotine, since it is what he consumes the most. Targets may be affacted by his quirk anywhere between 5 minutes, to 5 hours, depending on the amount of his fluid or smell they are exposed to.
    Strong smells are a major weakness for him. Not only can strong smells such as smelling salts overpower his sweet scent, but it can completely nullify the effects of his quirk. Rendering Prince unconsious will also hault his quirk. Extensive use of his quirk can subject him to serious medical complications such as liver failer and various heart problems.

    He is a bit quirky, and has a knack for finding trouble. His sense of fashion may paint him as more of a punk than he truly is. Regardless of his naturally stand-offish disposition, Prince has a heart of gold.
    He values his friends and would put his life in the line for them with little hesitation. After earning your way into his heart, Prince is unconditionally loyal.
    He chases the little things in life, such as dancing in the rain, coco on a cold day, and the sense of accomplishment after finishing a long task.

    brief background.
    Prince was born to a lower class family, having three biological siblings. He never met his parents, and hopes he never does. He lived a long childhood in the foster system, going in and out of homes at an unpredictable rate. As the years went on, he lost contact with his biological siblings.
    At age fifteen, he was adopted into a home and given two new sisters, Hazel and Juniper.
    Prince was never really given the chance to get close with Hazel since by the time he arrived, she was already living on her own. He and Juniper on the other hand got along splendidly. Aside from developing a classic case of sibling rivalry, the pair is inseparable.
    His new home was warm and welcomimg like none he had ever seen before. He strives ever day to repay the kindness his new family has shown to him.

    quirk description. From her quirk, she has gained the physical aspects of an owl as well as some of the abilities. Her physical abilities include wings and talons. However, she also has the ability to hear 5x better than a normal person. When she is focusing is when her hearing works the most affective and goes to its limits however on a normal basis, without focusing, she is at 2x. The drawback of her hearing however is that if too much noise is going on around her she gets overwhelmed and tends to gain a horrible headache.

    She also has enhanced vision and can see in the dark however, her eyes like owls can not turn like normal eyes. They are tubed like therefore she can only see straightforward. So to see around her she has to turn her head and that's why she can turn her head 360 degrees around. However, this gives people the ability to sneak up on her sides more easily.

    Her last quirk ability is the ability to screech at a frequency so high and loud that it can break glass. If sustained to her screech for too long it can cause hearing loss for a short amount of time. The downside is she can only screech like that for so long constantly. Another downfall is that if she uses it too much throughout the day she can lose her voice causing her to lose that ability. Her abilities are also stronger at night than in the day.

    Nyla grew up in a home with a single father as the youngest of three. Her two older brothers were both smart and prestigious, but when I came down to wanting to be a hero that was seen as a joke to them. "Oh come on Nyla be realistic you'll be much more successful that way." was one of the many remarks she heard growing up whenever speaking about her dream. Her father was no help either as he always saw it as dangerous. His excuse was he didn't want to see her getting hurt like her mother, who happened to die when she was only 3 to a villain attack. Her mother was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

    Her mother's death wasn't her deterrent however it was her motivation she never wanted to see another innocent lose their lie again and vowed to herself that she'd be the solution to this world's villain problem. So growing up she did the absolute best she could on all her school works and in secret while her family was working she trained as hard as she could to grow her quirks abilities, so when the day came she would be able to get into UA. When it comes to her hero studies she will do everything in her power to stay in the top, its her only way to prove her family wrong and show them up.

Can transform into a large wolf (about 8 feet high) or stop the transformation prematurely to assume one of two different humanoid variants; a traditional werewolf form (where he grows taller, becomes more muscular, and develops claws, sharp teeth, pointed ears, yellow eyes, and grayish fur all over his body) or a half-werewolf form (where he becomes slightly more muscular and develops claws, sharp teeth, yellow eyes, and patches of fur along the sides of his face and forearms). Each form grants varying increases in strength, endurance, speed, and enhanced senses, with his wolf form having the maximum and his half-werewolf form the minimum. His wolf form is strong enough to destroy medium-sized buildings and constructions, such as large factories or large complexes such as supermarkets. His werewolf form can destroy extremely resistant material, such as stone, metal, and steel. His half-werewolf form stands at the threshold of human strength and capabilities, comparable to some of the world’s greatest athletes. Staying in any of his transformations for too long will result in the accumulation of bloodlust—an uncontrollable urge to kill or maim others without discrimination. Bloodlust will at first alter certain aspects of his personality, amplifying his impulsiveness and generally making him more violent. If too much bloodlust is accumulated, he loses control over his own body, transformation, and humanity. He turns into his wolf form and goes feral, driven by nothing more than the wolf-like instincts inside him. The only way of reverting back to his human form and regaining control is losing consciousness. The stronger his transformation, the less time he has before being consumed by bloodlust (e.g. his wolf form is more susceptible to bloodlust, while his half-werewolf form is the least, and therefore gives him the most amount of time to keep his quirk activated). Bloodlust can be diminished by remaining in human form for a certain period of time, depending on how much bloodlust has been accumulated. This can range from around an hour to an entire day. His enhanced senses can also be sabotaged by extremely loud, high-pitched noises or overwhelmingly strong odors. Aside from his bloodlust, his other more prominent weakness would have to be his vulnerability to silver. A weapon plated with the right amount of silver, such as a knife, would be able to cut through him like silk. He is not affected by the substance alone, but if weaponized in the right way, it could prove a difficult obstacle for him to overcome.

brief background.
Talion is the son of a detective and criminal defense lawyer. He spent most of his youth studying under his father, following him around to various crime scenes and gaining firsthand detective experience. However, Talion always wanted to become a pro hero. He admired a detective’s wit, but he also admired a hero’s valor. His father had originally wanted to become a pro hero too, but gave up on his dream after deciding that his quirk’s drawback was too dangerous for hero related work. Talion sensed regret coming from his father the day he had told him and decided that, even if his quirk could turn into a liability, he did not want to live with the same regret he could see in his father’s eyes. In school, he was never afraid to use his quirk to help those in need, whether it was intimidating bullies or tracking down lost items for his classmates. But he never tried surpassing his limits, fearing what could happen if he were to lose control to his bloodlust. He had already been in a few minor incidents when he was younger and they were enough to get him to fear what could happen if he were to lose control as he got progressively stronger. He performed well academically, graduating from his high school with the sixth best average among his entire grade. When it finally came time for him to pick a university, he decided to attend the same one his father had before dropping out: Hero University.

brief background.
A prodigy, Gifted, Dedicated. All these words have been used to describe Ari, but none used more than quirkless. Her parents had quirks that made them excel in the business of support items, and she had hoped one day her quirk would allow her to help. That day never came. Every doctor she had been taken to had said the same, Ari would be quirkless. For a bit, she had given up on her dream. That was until middle school.

Her father took Ari to the shooting range once she was old enough and she revealed she had a hidden talent for guns and their usage. This had given her father an idea. He started teaching Ari mechanics along with other things about weaponry, whilst her mother taught her to fight. They both believed she would struggle in life if she did not fight harder than the others with quirks. Near the end of her freshmen year of highschool, she had already made plans to be a hero.

Nearing the end of highschool, she was the lead of the MMA club at school. Her parents decided it was time for her to design and build a full set of assist gear, they did not believe she would be a Hero, but they believed she could assist them. Little did they realize she would design and build her own set of power armor she tested against explosions, pressure tests, and gun shots from her own customized arsenal. She would done her armor she had dubbed "Rose Petal" and sign up for the Hero course at H.U. Her weaponry and her armor were all she had, but she would use every skill in her arsenal to overcome any obstacle that came her way.

    quirk name. catch these tentacles
    quirk description. mutant type quirk, giving his both certain parts of the appearance and pyschiology of an octopus. mimic has the traits of an octopus, the weird thing being he has a different ones from different breeds. he is the ultimate mutant octopus, having the grip strength of a giant pacific octopus, the camouflage of a mimic octopus, and the sharp intelligence of the atlantic pygmy octopus. He is also able to breathe underwater and see crystal clear within water, with his downside of his sight not being as well above water. His quirk boils down to being able to blend into surroundings, smacking things really hard, and being extremely intelligent. The drawbacks are, his tentacles while having great strength, are vulnerable to attacks and it takes 72 hours to regrow a tentacle. His camo abilities are not infallible, if hes in a area with little cover his camoflauge is rendered useless. he also has to carry around a squirt water bottle as his tentacles get dry and ache if they overly dry out. hot sun speeds up the progress but it takes around 6 hours to completely dry out if he does not spray them.

    brief background.
    Grew up in a relatively normal household, his parents were incredibly religious however. Despite having Christianity pushed on him by both his parents he never understood it. His younger brother and sister were ideal Christians, modest and perfect. He was also a bit of a black sheep. His tentacles made him stand out and often scared others away, his blunt demeanor and intimidating resting face didn’t help either. Growing up he got into frequent trouble, mostly from being caught doing side hustles and scams. He had a passion for convincing people to hand over money and found it thrilling. His parents frustrations grew until they hit their breaking point when they found out mimic was dating a man. He was disowned and thrown from the house at 17 years old. He luckily had some money saved up and he was an incredibly smart individual who had always succeed in school, even with the small delinquencies. He got his own apartment but times were rough and money was tight. He worked himself to the bone nonstop, his passion leaving as it became a necessity instead. Now 21 he finally could afford the tuition to HU although barely, and now must work twice as hard to support himself and pay for the prestigious college. He doesn’t feel the same thrill now when earning money, instead merely a small flash of satisfaction of being able to afford dinner that night.

quirk description. This work is a transformation quirk in a way as Duke's body becomes stronger when he is under stress or has great anxiety. The boost he gets scales on how much stress or anxiety he is under it can be as simple as he can punch 10 ibs harder or he can toss people through 10 stories of concrete and keep up with cars on a highway. His power might be considered limitless but the more powers he draws the more it drains his energy so he can can't get any more powerful than he is if his body isn't strong enough to handle it. His power can take a very large toll on his body which means that he can only sustain it for so long. His absolute limit before his body shuts down and he faints is 3 hours while he's not at his max but when pushed to the limit it's about 1 hour. His normal heart rate is oddly low so any injury or damage to his heart will instantly put him down or make him hospitalized for months.

brief background.
Son of a retired villain mother and a solider father Duke had a rather strict childhood but he liked it in a way as his mother would homeschool him while his father taught him martial arts and discipline as soon as he was able to lift his leg up in a kick. His father then went away at the age of 12 as he was called back into duty and stationed far out of the country visiting every few months. Duke staying disciplined like his father taught continued to train himself in martial arts and had to learn how to discipline himself. Living alone with his mother was kind of rough as he was the man of the house and he decided to go out instead of letting his mother go and possibly getting recognized by authorities. When Duke started getting older he realized that he didn't have any friends and didn't know how to socialize and talk to people unless he was spoken too or is told what to say. When turning 17 he pushed for his license and started working so he can be able to go out into the world and find his place in it. When he found out he was accepted into the academy he knew that things were gonna be really good or really bad but either way it wasn't gonna change much about him. (More to be added over time)

    quirk description.
    declan’s quirk is transformation(?) style of quirk, the name itself speaks volume of what he can do. the quirk requires a set of negative emotions in order for it to be activated, whether it be anger, jealousy, arrogance or such— for declan it was mainly arrogance and his inflated ego, but sometimes it will be his undisclosed trauma he feeds off of. in activation, declan emits a dark grey fog that warps around his body, making him appear like a walking gas cloud. his eyes turn into a bright, vibrant red but sometimes will shift black depending on his emotions/mental state. he is also will grow a few inches taller when his quirk is activated, essentially the quirk turns him into a huge berserker.
    those that inhale the fog are consumed by an unmeasurable amount of rage, those who were once weak are now able to rip a phone book in half— it causes those around him to fight one each other. doesn’t matter who it is, if you are near you will be fought and sometimes killed by the hands of someone who you once loved. when he shows up to a scene, it’s immediately a war zone— considering the name.
    sadly there are several drawbacks for declan— for one, it’s very difficult for him to distinguish between friend and foe once his quirk is active. anyone and everyone is seen as a potential threat and will stop at nothing until you are down, so it makes it hard for him to work with others. another one is that people can wear gas masks in order to not be affected by his quirk, though they have to have a powerful filter in order to filter out the fog. the quirk itself is very destructive, causing a great deal of damage and loss as victims to his quirk will use anything and everything around them to inflict harm on themselves and others.

    - Nice is normally very aloof and reserved, but he has a fuse about the size of an ant. The slightest thing can give him a nasty attitude, but he's mature enough to know when to dial things back before a situation gets out of hand... most of the time.

— has got permanent, slight outlines around his eyes thanks to his goggles. A cute little goggle-shaped tan around the eye area as well

— ya never see him without his goggles, usually sitting at the top of his head. rumours say he even sleeps with them, either raised up or on completely (both, according to a certain jasper bellemont SUGAR. SUGAR. )

— hair is an earthy, dark shade of green, contrasting nicely with the pale emerald of his eyes. his hair can be described as more of a curly mop than anything, in a contant state of bedhair. He does take tremendous care to keep his sides shaved, with a few classic rock-band style buzzed stripes going across for effect. (The secret is to get good with your local barber)

Quantum Goggles | jax's signature nifty pair of visors that protect and enhance his vision while traversing the quantum realm.

Acid Vest | a bullet-proof vest outfitted with a specialized gadget Jax calls the Pump. It's got wires connecting to the upper two metal abdominal cores that are responsible for pumping the acid through his system!

The Good Shit | Timetripper's lovable fanny pack full of vials of acid that he plugs into the Pump!

Gloves | Jax had always had an obsession with fingerless leather gloves, so it was a no brainer to add them to his outfit, made even cooler by the brass knuckles attached, to give his punches that extra oomph

Bionic Legs | His newest edition of bionic legs have blades at the heels and toes. He's still trying to convince them to get blasters added on the list too but :/ stubborn bastards

Headgear, Jacket & Tiger Mask | Just a couple of nice touches that Jax (with the help of Fable Huffy Huffy ) decided to add to complete his overall look. He even got his mask outfitted with air filters to breathe better in the quantum realm!

THE GLITCH

— ♧ quantum teleportation - indeed, a four dollar word! What does it mean? Well, the short explanation is that Jax is able to disassemble the atomic structure of his body down to its most basic components - protons and neutrons and all. This leads him to slipping into the quantum field, where he then reconstructs his body at a different spatial-time location. Because subatomic particles slip beneath reality at a quantum level, they can travel through dimensions, allowing time travel. (source: superpower wiki).

♧ when he "time teleports" he looks like he's phasing in and out in a real trippy, badass, matrix glitch sort of way (hence, the name!)

♧ his quirk essentially allows him to manipulate his own body's clock (no one/nothing else's). So if he was seconds away from being shot with a bullet, he'd "time teleport" himself (so from his perspective, time freezes) to a few seconds before he was in that specific spot the bullet was aiming at.

♧ the max he can go in the past for is thirty-three seconds, while its fourteen seconds to go into the future


WEAKNESSES:

♧ quantum time travel/teleportation is a doozy. Literally - it seriously scrambles your brains/body. Jax learned this the ultra hard way for the first and last time when he was young (hence the fact that he's essentially half cyborg - but that's a story for another time). To combat this, Jax discovered a quirk hack - he pumps himself with acid! Yes ladies and gentlemen, it turns out acid's crazy drug trip effects work the opposite way in the quantum realm! A true Wonderland phenomenon - what makes one insane keeps one sane in the quantum realm.

♧ there's a limit to many times he can glitch in and out - his average is around twenty-five, while his record was fourty-two times. If he pushes himself beyond that absolute limit, he runs the risk of what Quirk specialists in his case call time quantum frag - in which he loses a limb or possibly worse, when trying to reconstruct himself in another time-space location.

♧ the acid is also a limited resource - it is basically the polish that keeps the quantum teleportation device from rusting (and thus decreasing the chances for time frag). So Jax is limited to a certain number of "safe" jumps/glitches before things start getting desperate and he's running low on fuel and starts to really feel the burn of quantum teleportation.

— when he smiles, it almost always slides into this lazy, lopsided, broad grin that make his eyes crinkle at the ends

— when bored in class (which is nearly all the time), he likes to catch the eye of his circle/other students and do some stupid shit; whether it be a silly face (he's basically Jim Carrey with them expressions) mocking the teacher silently or execute some small elaborate piece of mischief on another classmate, there's basically no limit to his imagination and genius when it comes to class clownery

— as one might of guessed, dear old Jax here doesn't have the greatest attention span or focus (except when it comes very certain things).

— also has trouble sitting still, or listening/taking orders. Not severe, but more than enough to get the occasional glaresand/or detention from all his beloved teachers.

— not exactly an all out aggressive type, but definitely not a pacifist either. He'll gladly be the start or the end of a fight and beat your ass only to buy you drinks after.

— he's scary good at predicting time and navigating his way out of a foreign place. this also applies to sticky situations (lucky Irish bastard)

— speaking of the irish, Jax has got a slight Irish lilt from spending most of his young childhood in Ireland, but that doesn't stop the stereotyping jokes thrown his way by his buds

— Jax doesn't discriminate - his antics and insults are 100% free and accessible to all creature, Quirk or creed. He sees the irony and humour in it all.

— one never knows when one is being messed with when it comes to Jax. And who can blame them? The guy's got a solid poker face!

— most people assume he's got some cyborg Quirk thanks to his prosthetic legs and spine. Mostly little kids. For the kiddos, Jax just rolls with it. Maybe fits in a "Terminator" style voice, who knows. But for everyone else, he is always quick to make a rebuttal

— speaking of prosthetics. Jax has had them for a good number of years, and constant advancement in modern Quirk technology has made living life with them much easier. It also helps that Jax looks quite badass with them (and he knows it), but the reality is-

The reality is, nothing's really wrong! He's good, he's fine. Alright, okay, maybe there's occasional painful physical and mechanical flare-ups that can put him in the hospital for no reason. Maybe there's some deep, unchecked trauma over an injury that may have been fixed physically, but not mentally. Maybe that trauma is sisters with a deeper desire for revenge, and that's why he's here, becoming trained as a "hero".

But he'd never really admit it. Because dealing with his issues head-on was never really his thing.

— just wings everything. planning, organization, preparation are not in his vocabulary list - it's all about intuition, guessing games, improvisation, and adaptation on the spot

— except when it comes to his precious pranks. with that, he's got a reputation to uphold >:]

— if he spent even a modicum of time, focus, energy and genius that he puts in his shenanigans, onto actual schoolwork or productive things, he'd be doing way better

— doesn't like to watch tv or play video games much. or maybe it's more accurate to say he can't; sinking hours at a time into one singular activity? the h0rr0r

— loves to skateboard though. and he's insane and shameless enough to try everything at least once; which is his dream essentially.

— he can be bleeding half to death with bones sticking out in different direction and a cracked skull to match and still tell you oh, he's "fine" and shrug it off

— also an aspiring, amateur comic strip "artist", taught by the one and only fable everlee Huffy Huffy

— loves monster energy drinks, and energy drinks in general (go figurr)

— playfully (but mostly ends up being brutally) blunt. Don't mistake it for honesty though - guy's got a knack for avoiding the question and he's not in the habit of revealing how he really feels - it's all covered under layers and layers of irony and tomfoolery

— secretly suffers from PTSD. it usually manifests in the form of nightmares and occasional vague memory flashbacks (most people just coincidently assume that he's just being a stoner and zoning out when it happens though) of how he lost his legs and the death of his mother. Marijuana definitely helps relieve the symptoms but doesn't truly cure the root cause

— gets occasional pangs of pain in the areas where his nerve endings meet with the bio-prosthetics. when this happens, he usually responds by putting his hands on his thighs in a bent sort of way, almost like he's catching his breath (for once) and waits for the pain to pass

— he likes to fiddle with the large screw on his left prosthetic knee to get it loose (and end up going to Quirk Mechanics so they could retighten it again)
