Fantasy Hawthorne Academy

Nichole walked into the cafeteria and said"sorry about that guys! I was reading something!"before getting her lunch and walked over to the table. She sat down and had a plate of spaghetti, garlic bread, a salad, lemonade and marble cake. Nichole thought back to the letter.

Dear Nichole,

"Oh, that's great!" That was probably a little too enthusiastic. You're trying to be "normal", here. Kick it down a notch, Cylva. "I-I mean, that's pretty cool. I'm sure you'll be just great in combat." She turned her attention to Nichole. "How about you? What classes are you taking, Nichole?" Surveying her choices, she shoveled a generous helping of Fettuccine Alfredo onto her plate. Rather picky when it came to food, Cylva didn't agree with many different foods. Hot Dogs were definitely one of those, and she was allergic to tomatoes, so that ruled out the Spaghetti. The Alfredo would have to do, for now. After grabbing a glass of water, she sat down across the table from Kahra.

Definitely questionable. The thought pertained to the quality of the food she was about to consume. For a moment, she considered going without, but another upset growl from her stomach quickly changed her mind. Brushing her pale silver hair back behind her shoulders, she picked up her fork, and prodded the Fettuccine, grimacing at the odd consistency. Definitely questionable, indeed.

Mustering every ounce of courage within her being, she wrapped a few of the noodles around the fork, and took a bite. It had a gritty texture to it. She swallowed hard, afraid of what her body might do, if the noodles didn't quite go all the way down, the first swallow. Well. At least it's something... She wrapped a few more noodles around the fork, and took yet another bite. This one went down significantly easier. Rinse and repeat. One bite at a time. You've got this, Cylva.

So focused was she, on the task at hand, she'd completely forgotten about everyone else in the dining hall. Her internal struggle took priority over her surroundings; Kahra could have been screaming her name, and Cylva would not have heard her. Just one more bite. One... more... bite. The thoughts came frequently, and although she knew she needed to eat until she was full, taking the process one bite at a time was definitely a bit easier, than looking at the meal as a whole.

Nichole said"um healing and history." She said smiling and started to eat. But the smile didnt reach her eyes this time. She thought as she ate and went quiet.

Why didnt they just ask me?..why did they give away my favorite plushies. Those had memories behind them. I bought them with my own money from those anime cons. Why would they... those thoughts went through her head.

Their time at the amusement park was great and they rode on many rides at the carnival and Geno seemed to enjoy most of the part though some were quite extreme like the roller coasters but all the more, it was a fun date. Calista didn't noticed that time flew by so fast since she had so much fun, she thought that world just stopped for them. Sitting on the bus with Geno, Calista rubbed her legs and sighed,"I must have sprain it from all that walking." Calista thought and glanced at Geno.

The ride back to the school wasn't long as they got off and stood at the school gates. Calista's legs were still a bit sore but she put on a strong front as she stared into his eyes that seemed to change suddenly to a more normal look, and instead of black, it was a grey color,"Wow... so this must be his real eye color?" Calista thought mesmerized by how pretty they were but she snapped out of it and smiled at Geno,"Thank you for the fun times, I had lots of fun." Calista exclaimed happily but then looked to the ground a little embarrassed,"A-and umm... I-i hope you did t-too." Calista said looking back up at Geno still with her angelic smile.

-I hope this is okay ;-;-

Shinji was surprised that Blake kissed him, on the symbol that is but the place his lips touched felt like it was burning, Shinji's face flushed bright red and visible for Blake to see,"Y-you... are you trying to tempt me?" Shinji mumbled softly so Blake wouldn't hear as Blake explain if they were to get closer a bit, he would speak of his past, Shinji smirked, his body shivered at Blake's tone, Shinji wanting to just push him down and just lock their lips together but he didn't dare make that move or it could ruin their relationship that was still developing.

Shinji was about to speak when Blake cupped his face and placed another kiss once more before pulling back to place back on his eyepatch. Something must have snapped as Shinji's switch was turned on and grabbing hold of both of Blake's wrist, he flew in for Blake's lips, locking them with his and not caring that people may have seen them. The feeling of Blake's lips was shockingly good, a spark formed and Shinji soon became hooked on the feeling,"What am I doing?" Shinji thought in the back of his head but didn't move, waiting for Blake to respond.

-I also regret nothing ._.-

Being led off the stage and out of the tea party that was already empty with people cleaning up the place, Alain stared at the girl a bit unsure what to do for their date since he wasn't very romantic really, to be honest, this could be his first "real" date. He had been on dates before but they were mostly arranged and sometimes blind dates that his aunt would do which Alain would find useless to be doing. Looking down at their his hand, he grin at how she was still holding on. Though he couldn't feel her hand, the touch of it on his lip was very soft and so warm, like a baby's hand.

Looking around, Alain tried to think of something for them to do,"Hmm... well where would you like to go Soraphine? We could go anywhere you like, I don't mind." Alain said waiting for her to choose their date spot since he wasn't all that familiar with this place.

Tekis

"What's your name?" The woman with Tekis' roommate asked him. "The name is Tekis, and your boyfriend is my roommate." Tekis said with a blank, emotionless face. "And you, roommate," Tekis moves his head towards his roommate. “I see you go for the feisty ones" Tekis quickly glanced at the girl then looked back towards his roommate "It's fine, I don't really need any smokes, I got my own" Tekis pulled out a packet of cigarettes, then shook them.

"The only reason I asked was to see if you are indeed my roommate. I spotted a packet of Polish cigarettes back at my room sitting on the table, so I asked if you had any. My guess was right. What's your name?" Tekis placed his cigarettes back in his pocket. "And I'm sorry if I offended your lady here, as it was not my intention." Tekis said. Damn it, now they will think I'm some detective or something, great way on improving your social skill dumbass...

When his eye patch was on and in place Blake was about to head back to the dorm and probably drown himself in the shower after what he just did, the realization of the past events threatening to crush him.

What the hell did I just do? God I ruined everything…fuck

That is until Shinji grasped his two wrists and kissed him on the lips. For a moment Blake couldn't do anything but freeze, however after a few seconds he slowly he eased into it, so much so that he managed to slide his wrists out of Shinji's grasp and cup both of his cheeks. Now his whole body felt like it was burning as he kissed Shinji, Blake was practically walking on air. Nipping at Shinji's bottom lip Blake took his right hand and slid it through Shinji's smooth but messy hair and then pressing his hand against his head to deepen the kiss.

"I'll return with Elsa"

Mars placed the roll of bandages on the bed and clutched his arm closer to his chest. There was no need for him to continue trying to fix his arm by himself if Ryuu would be back with the Nurse. Besides, if he wasted any supplies, the cost would likely come right out of his pocket, and he had already used a quarter bottle of disinfectant. He was usually preoccupied with other thoughts while Elsa fixed him up, so his memory on the procedure was a little foggy.

"Well, Mars, my name's Ami. I'm 17. I spent the last two years modeling in places all across the world. I found out I had a special ability, and so I came here to work on my ability. So far I haven't learned much."

"You've modeled for two years? That's impressive. Most people that come here have never even had a part time job before, let alone something like that." His surprise was very obvious to anyone with eyes. Modeling itself wasn't a job that he really considered legitimate, as his view on looks and beauty are well known, but there was no denying that it took a lot of work to do. That combined with her traveling around the world was something that he couldn't help but find amazing. Whatever her power was, as long as she tried Mars guessed that she would be able to get a hold of it rather quickly. Of course, he only assumed modeling required a lot of work, but that assumption seemed to make sense to him. Well, she set up the perfect seg-way for him to ask about her power, which he always did for new comers.

Should I continue, or can I learn a bit about you now?"

Mars' eye twitched slightly. Most people just continued and let him ask his question, but Ami seemed to want to know more about him. That along with the fact that she showed interest in his powers previously made him slightly more intrigued by this girl. She seemed to have an interest in combat and the possible applications of his power. Of course, he would be a little skeptical at this point, as he had bad experiences in the past with mind readers attempting to bring up his weaknesses in his head. Those specific scenarios he was able to see through their attempt to manipulate him without any problems, but this time his pride was too strong. He had forgotten completely about his previous inquiry on her powers as his ego took over. "Well, I am also 17, grew up with a detective father and a psychiatrist mother. Whenever they would bring some work home I would always end up helping them with it, especially with my father. I've actually helped him solve some pretty major cases in my time. Anyways, a few years ago I first showed signs of having my power, and I was sent here. As I mentioned before I have the ability to manipulate heat, which at the moment mostly consists of creating fire and heating things up, which I've pretty much mastered. However, I've also been getting the hang of freezing things, as well as creating ice from thin air. As for this," He said as he pointed towards his injured arm, "I've been working on a new technique that entails building up enough pressure to launch a destructive fire missile of sorts. The idea is to be able to shatter any wall using this, but things have obviously been a little rocky." Mars paused for a few seconds before running his good hand through his hair, laughing nervously. "Sorry about that, I kind of got carried away." His apology was not only directed at Ami, but to himself as well. He hated when his logical mind was taken over by his galaxy-sized ego, and because of that he may have revealed some information to a possible rival.

Geno felt the adrenalin stopping. The bus ride home was slow, but not nearly slow enough. He never wanted this to end. He knew it would, though. He got that sinking feeling when he thought that. That awful, beautiful feeling. It proved that he was alive, and was able to feel, which was nice. He'd always feel he'd end up an empty shell, but maybe Calista would save him from that. Maybe. The bus stopped. No. Nononononononono. Non- Nevermind. It had to end eventually, he'd just have to keep the enthusiasm for the future, and not let them drift apart. His old mentality drifted back into him, and he accepted it. With that pessimism he'd be able to live through the night without anxiety knives through his chest.

They got off the bus, and for a moment Calista turned to him, and just looked him in the eyes. To avoid another weird blush, he had to look away. Hopefully she wouldn't take it the wrong way. "Thank you for the fun times, I had lots of fun." She didn't fail to cheer him up now, either. He smiled, and for once didn't have to fake the enthusiasm. "Me too, it was great. We should do it again sometime. Or, you know, just hang out, or something..." Man. He'd never had this much trouble talking to a girl before. He'd usually just act the same to them as he'd do to any guy. Still, she wasn't just any girl, now was she? She looked down at the floor, and then looked up at him. He lost himself again, seeing her smile was like heaven opening, and it was only about a meter away. "A-and umm... I-i hope you did t-too." Weird. She was the one who made him feel comfortable, and she didn't even seem comfortable herself.

He took a step closer, and hugged her. It had worked so far. "Come on, stop being so anxious around me. I thought we'd gotten closer than that.. Either way, I'm sorry, I gotta go now." He didn't actually have anything to do, he just felt like he had to get away before he got bitter and said something he'd regret. He stepped away from her and turned around. He put his hands into his pockets and just kept walking, he didn't turn around to wave, or shout goodbye. A decision which he deeply regretted, but it was too late to do so now, it'd just be awkward. So he just kept walking until he got to the dorms. It was somewhat late, but it seemed people were still out doing stuff.

He got into his room, which was empty. He was alone, which he liked. He needed that now. He got into the shower and leaned his head against the wall while the water ran over his body. He needed time to clear his head, and so he spent about fifteen minutes just thinking about random things. Until he realized that the water around his feet hard dark stuff in it. He looked at his arm, and realized he had a wound on it, from which blood was running. "God damnit..." The blood froze and created a crust. That was one of the drawbacks of his control of his powers. When he was young, the blood would freeze as soon as he hurt himself, but as he learned to control it, to keep it from freezing, he'd made it a subconscious reaction to not let it freeze immediately, and therefore his wounds didn't stop bleeding until he himself stopped it. Fortunately, this wound was small, and he'd barely lost any blood at all.

EDIT:He got out of the shower, and stopped by the mirror, shocked. His eyes were coloured like normal. Black pupils, grey irises. What the hell? This had never happened before!.. Wonder if Calista saw it. Why didn't she comment on it if so? As these thoughts went through his mind, he witnessed his eyes turning back to his usual eye-colour. Black irises and white pupils. Weird. Well, there's no reason to dwell on it. If he noticed it again, he'd remember what tied those two occasions together, and thus figure out what caused this. For now, there's no reason to worry. Probably.

He put on the jeans and shirt he'd barely used this morning, and went out for a walk. Everyone else was still awake, so he didn't feel like going to bed early. Besides, he was in one of those weird sleep cycles again, and probably wouldn't get tired until at least tomorrow. He'd stay up all night and keep reading those overworldly history books. When he passed the main building, he realized that he was really in a musical mood, and so he went to the music room. He slowly slid the door open, and thankfully there was no one around. He sat down and grabbed one of the guitars. He may be better at violin, but honestly, the violin bored him nowadays.

"Secrets that I held in my heart

Are harder to hide than I thought

Maybe I just wanna be yours

I wanna be yours

I wann-"

He stopped himself. He was really showing his cheesy side now. No one was in the room, but he really felt pathetic. He should play something more upbeat. He walked over to the piano and sat down. Hopefully they'd make an upgrade for this soon, but for now, this piano would have to be enough. He thought for a minute, as he didn't know a lot of happy upbeat songs. He finally settled for one, and started playing "Miracle Mile". Man, was he loud.

Mystery Person Appears!

On an airplane over the atlantic ocean, sat a young girl and looked out the window. It was dark outside, but she didn't feel tired. She was too worried to feel tired. She had had special powers for less than a week, and she was already on her way to a school for people like her. She didn't like it, she didn't like it at all. She had to leave all of her old friends behind. Hm. At least she might make new ones, and she already knew Geno was there. Geno was nice and all, but he was really boring. Yeah, she'd definitely have to make other friends while there. She was supposed to be there for at least a year anyway, so she might as well. Gotta stop worrying about it now though, it was still first on monday that she'd arrive, so being anxious now didn't have any good effect. Better to just try to get some sleep..

(Yeah, I'm too tired to interact with anyone right now. If anyone feels like interacting with Geno, go right ahead I guess, but I won't give out any long answers until tomorrow.)

(Also, this is definitely my longest post ever. Huzzah!)

~Professor Crysta Chime~

Crysta didn't really mind when she was replied with silence. . .in fact, she wasn't fully paying attention either, causing her to carelessly let her hand get to close to the flame that was heating her water. She quickly recoiled, cradling her freshly burnt hand in the other. It didn't hurt too badly, so it probably wasn't too bad of a burn. Besides, Crysta was no stranger to tea-making mishaps. In fact, it was rare that you see the woman without some sort of bandage or wrapping on her hand.

"Oh, and my most recent scalding
just healed..." she sighed, shaking her head and taking the water off the stove. "What a pity."

Crysta simply grabbed the first teabag she could get her hands on and put it in one of the cups, then poured an equal amount of water in both of them. She set hers aside to steep while she went to dress her wound, saying, "Once you make your choice, just put it in the water, alright?"

After walking over to a small, bedside-like cabinet, Crysta opened the top drawer and quickly pulled out a half used tube of Aloe Vera and an almost empty box of band-aids. She took a moment to run her thumb across the blistering burn, not flinching as she did so, and then slathered the greenish goop onto the stinging red mark. She chose a bandage the was approximately the size of her wound, and smoothed it on. She tossed the wrapper into the nearly full trash bin beside the table, and put the band-aids and Aloe Vera away.

"Miss it's alright now,"

Crysta's ear twitched as the boy spoke, and she turned her head in his general direction.

"I was going to ask you if you could take the mask away from me for a while. But, the voices have disappeared so there's no need. I don't know how long but he said vaguely that it might be for a while."

Crysta sucked in her cheeks, finding it hard to believe that the "voices" just. . .disappeared. But was it her business to argue? Not really. Even though she was a teacher, it wasn't her place to pry.

"I-I see you've made your choice." Crysta smiled, changing the subject and striding towards him, plucking the leaf from his hand and dropping it gently into the clear water next to her nearly done tea. "A good choice, this one. . .definitely. I'm sure you will enjoy it. Cream and sugar, Luke?"

Mirabelle Ami

Hm. Mars is actually pretty interesting, Ami thought. Maybe I should try and keep him around... But that might not happen.

"I've been working on a new technique that entails building up enough pressure to launch a destructive fire missile of sorts. The idea is to be able to shatter any wall using this, but things have obviously been a little rocky."

The idea of that shocked Ami, but it was awe-inspiring at the same time. She imagined herself shooting a fire missile out of her arm; Her power couldn't do anything quite as cool as that... "But... Well - Before I say this, keep in mind I'm stupid - But building up pressure in your arm... Couldn't that make your arm explode?" Ami reasoned. "And what if the 'missile' just stayed in your arm? It would burn you, and that would hurt, wouldn't it?" The amounts of potential mishaps were immense; She didn't want to worry Mars too much, though.

Ami sighed. "Never mind - I'm just worrying about things that will never happen. When I can stand again and you're sure you're OK, want to go to town with me? I was meaning to go, but I, er, got a bit sidetracked."

~Professor Giovia Eriwind~

After Giovia had removed her foot from Xavier's crotch and watched the man hobble out, she shut the door. As she went back to what she was doing, which happened to be organizing an assortment of multicolored vials filled with strange natural remedies, she grew slightly irritated at the racket Anthony was making.

"Whoa what was that for he's been helpful damn he didn't earn that!"

"That is the most violent healing teacher ever."

Giovia sighed and slammed down the vial in her hand, shooting a nasty look at the boy.

"I'm just gonna..... yeah."

Sighing, the woman walked over her desk, opening the very bottom drawer with her foot. She pulled out a large folder and quickly flipped through it before whipping out two sheets of paper. Giovia placed the folder on her desk and muttered, "Anthony Garcia..."

She handed the boy his papers, and said, "Here's your collaboration partner and first homework assignment."

Collaboration Partner: Soraphine Grimaldo

Assignment #1:

Practice given techniques.

Note: I never wrote you an evaluation like the other students, so I have not given you any techniques to practice to proctect or heal someone. YOUR assignment will be, instead of practicing a technique. . .you will think of one.

"Um yeah i'll be here on time tomorrow had plane issues." Anthony said looking at Giovia with a grin as he saw the assignment and started thinking already. He left the classroom and started to head back to the administration building since Giovia scared the daylights out of him now he wanted nothing to do with her. He however got lost and then found himself in front of the office of the Otherworld history teacher. He gently knocked on the door hoping to god and all things holy this teacher was nicer. He didn't really want a answer from the door and sat down. "Lets get the creativity going and the music flowering with a few warm up tunes." Anthony said before tuning his guitar and giving a sigh as he started strumming away.

"Hey there Delilah

What's it like in New York City?

I'm a thousand miles away

But girl, tonight you look so pretty

Yes you do

Times Square can't shine as bright as you

I swear it's true

Hey there Delilah

Don't you worry about the distance

I'm right there if you get lonely

Give this song another listen

Close your eyes

Listen to my voice, it's my disguise

I'm by your side

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

What you do to me

Hey there Delilah

I know times are getting hard

But just believe me, girl

Someday I'll pay the bills with this guitar

We'll have it good

We'll have the life we knew we would

My word is good

Hey there Delilah

I've got so much left to say

If every simple song I wrote to you

Would take your breath away

I'd write it all

Even more in love with me you'd fall

We'd have it all

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

A thousand miles seems pretty far

But they've got planes and trains and cars

I'd walk to you if I had no other way

Our friends would all make fun of us

And we'll just laugh along because we know

That none of them have felt this way

Delilah I can promise you

That by the time we get through

The world will never ever be the same

And you're to blame

Hey there Delilah

You be good and don't you miss me

Two more years and you'll be done with school

And I'll be making history like I do

You'll know it's all because of you

We can do whatever we want to

Hey there Delilah here's to you

This one's for you

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

Oh it's what you do to me

What you do to me."

~Professor Liam DiFranco~

Liam furiously scrawled down strings of words, most of them hardly readable, into his notebook. Why? Well, somebody had to figure out what this monster was, and Liam was pretty much the expert on that sort of thing. The man knew that he would be able to figure this out if he thought about it hard enough~!

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!

The tip of Liam's pencil shredded right through the middle of the page with a loud
krrrrrrrrrip. Setting down his pencil, the man rubbed his temples and flicked off his glasses. Letting out a very loud groan, he stood up, rubbing the back of his neck as he did. The man crossed over to the door and swung it open. A boy. . .playing the guitar?

Was this some sort of new prank all of the kids were into? Knock on a teacher's door and then serenade them?

"Uh, excuse me, boy." he asked. "I must say, I've taught at this school for a long time and not ONCE have I ever been sang to! Oh, that is absolutely adorable! Please, come in!"

Without another word, Liam pulled the boy into his classroom and said, "So what can I do for you? Do you need a book? Or do you need me to talk to a librarian to give you access to someone in the library? Oh, it does this old heart good when I see a student so eager to learn! What is your name? I haven't seen you before. Maybe you aren't in my class? Oh, wait a minute!"

Liam dashed to his desk, whipping out a folder with Anthony's name on it. He flipped through the many pages for a moment before pulling out one and reading off, "Male. . ."

Liam looked up, and then nodded.

"5'4". . ."

Once again, Liam looked over the boy, and then nodded.

"Dark hair, blue eyes. . .yes! You must be Anthony Garcia! I was wondering where you were yesterday. . ." Liam finished, fishing a sheet of paper out of the folder and handing it to Anthony.

"This is your homework assignment. It's not hard, just a bunch of questions." he said with a grin. "Now, as much as I'd love to sit and chat, I have a lot of work to do! Work, work, work, busy, busy, busy!"

Liam yakked on and on until he had lead Anthony to the door, basically pushing the boy out.

Liam hadn't let the boy say one word.

((Holo! The first History assignment can be found in a spoiler in the Character Sign-Ups!)

Luke was sort of happy by the second's declaration, although he had a lingering they would come back in about a minute or so. Call it intuition, call it whatever you want but he knew almost instinctively that they would return in a minute or so. The Irishman could almost sense their impending arrival. Besides that, Ms. Chime seemed almost upset by the fact way she reacted to his confession, as if she wanted to keep hearing them. Strange of course, but this wasn't a place that would pride itself on normality now would it? He imagined that if there was such a thing like that here, then it would something to be sipped and savoured. So what they were saying was true, she really can here what I'm thinking, he thought to himself hypocritically, making no attempt to ward his mind from the psychic invasion. Luke didn't mind at all, but the others certaintly did but that only posed the question; why? He vowed to find out albeit he could very much so imagine that they would bestow upon him the answer when they appear. But they he muttered that they were going somewhere, it was almost as if they were going to have a meeting of some sorts, odd as that may be. So many questions, so little tea to actually down! He hadn't realized, but he was actually really thirsty for a drink. The last thing to was to keep thinking about them, rather focus on the conversation that you're having with the teacher that is so graciously looking after you.

We might have done that if she wasn't being such a peeping Tom. We're back just to inform you we had a little discussion that if you find yourself in a situation that you're being timid or being picked on, we'll just take charge and put them in their place. Be that maiming them, crippling them or murdering them, depending on the situation of course. Just to let you know Luke my boy.

Exactly what he said buddy! It's good to be back, you missed me right?! RIGHT?! Anywho, we'll just be watching over thee and if thy finds himself in an fairly bad moment, in that said moment of weakness we'll jump right in! You need not worry about wearing the mask, we know how conscious you are about wearing that thing SO, we'll be wearing it rather sporadically. You can count on us Loony Luke, we've got everything sorted! You'll be expecting a few more of this in the near future my lad, a few more of us are on the way!

"No sugar please," he told her, smiling slightly beside the renewed conversation in his head, "Thanks once again Ms. Chime, I really appreciate it, so...you have my gratitude."

Yet look at how he hurt her.

~Professor Crysta Chime~

Crysta silently poured some cream into Luke's cup, and then into her own, and long with a spoonful of sugar. She stirred both cups, completely submerged in her thoughts. It was obvious that the voices hadn't gone, as she could still make out some of the words they were saying. . .how come she couldn't hear this second voice moments ago? It didn't matter, did it? When Crysta realized that she had never handed Luke his cup, and that she was just standing there stirring it, and uttered a quick apology before handing the boy his saucer and taking a seat on one of the bamboo mats. Crysta quietly sipped her tea for a moment, and then pulled her cell phone out of her pocket.

"I'll call Liam and see about transferring you, alright?" she smiled, setting down her cup beside her. She brushed the palm of her hand over the smooth touchscreen, and then frowned. She couldn't help but let out a small giggle and say, "Ah, I hate this phone..."

She fumbled with the phone for a moment before just deciding to let Siri do the work.

"Call Liam DiFranco." she said into the phone slowly and clearly once the phone made its familiar chime, signalling her to make a command. There was a short pause, and then a robotic voice answered back,
"Calling Liam DiFranco."

Crysta waited for a moment, pressing the phone to her ear and listening to the dial tone. Finally, Liam picked up with a very cheerful,
"Helloooo?"

"Hello, Liam." Crysta smiled, bringing her teacup to her lips again and taking a sip.

"Oh, Crysta, my dear, what can I do for you?"

"Oh, I just had something to ask you."

"If it's about that thing in Hawthorne--"

Crysta quickly cut the man off with, "Liam, I'm with a student! I-I was just wondering if you could transfer him to my class. . ."

There was a long pause, and then Laim answered VERY loudly,
"THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IN TWO DAYS YOU'VE TRIED STEALING A STUDENT FROM ME! Well I'm NOT letting you!"

"Oh, please! Please, Liam? Please, please, please!"

Another pause.

"Okay, fine. But you have to do all the work this time! I'll give you my consent."

"Thank you, Liam!"

"Hrm..."

Call Ended.

Crysta clumsily put the phone back in her pocket and said, "Looks like you're going to be in my class, Luke Bell of Emerald Island!"

"That's good to know miss," he exclaimed happily, although still somewhat weary, "I'm happy you've went to such lengths for me, but I have to ask you this. What would happen if I suddenly got out of control? Would you have a means of subduing me? I bloody well hope so! I might be the rowdiest student to ever enter you class..."

Luke was still extremely cautious about this whole ordeal, especially because of the newly-revealed fact that there would be 'more' voices joining the two already speaking inside his head. I'll have a social group in there eventually, he mentally muttered as he took a sip of his tea. Simply wonderful and, surprisingly...calming. A peace of mind was ushered in for a brief moment after each sip. Either this was just wishful thinking on his part, the Irishman could have nearly smiled gleefully and fell right to sleep. But knowing him, that is just wishful thinking; Luke Bell of the Emerald Isle was never entitled to such luxury with an illness like DID. How his parents ever dealt with someone like was beyond him. Nonetheless, he was surprised by the fact that she was transferring students from other classes to her. She must be an extremely lovable teacher if that's the case. It would be hard to imagine Ms. Chime as anything but nice. How many would be like her in the entire school? Very few he could imagine, very few indeed. But in the end, that was just giving a generalization without actually meeting them. For all he knows, they could be just as nice if not nicer. Another question spawned itself inside his head, that he would ask in due course. He was buzzing with questions, Luke Bell was not one for being an inquisitive being, far from it in fact. That's just the way people are molded, all by a different potter, he spoke in his head, very much in earshot of the others that had taken refuge there.

Stop with all this elouquent talk already, you're getting on my nerves. Now that we're in her class, what are we going to be doing hm? Sitting around drinking bloody tea? You call that invigorating? You call that exciting? We need to get some adrenaline pumping, maul a few things if we have to! Not sipping on refreshments and nibbling on biscuits! What sort of man are you? We all love violence, we all love to get mad now and then. It's in our nature. Well I know for sure that I won't be enjoying our time in this class.

You're dead right there! What kind of nonsense is Focus and Medication?! Where's your sense of living?! What a women you are! Sitting here drinking like some sort of seventy year-old women living in the countryside talking to an old friend from primary school! Looks like we'll have to cause a bit of ruckus in this class eh? I'd say the whole bunch of these queers are emo's that just can't seem to talk about ANYTHING! We'll be making them talk, if we have to move their bloody mouth to do so! Oh for the love of ourselves, this is going to be terrible!

Truer words never spoken.

I know! I try to be honest!

Guys, could you be quiet for a moment? Luke asked the two incessant beings chat inside his noggin, I'm trying to have a conversation here, so if you would it is appreciated!

Anthony's head spun at how quickly the exchange with professor DiFranco was. "Well he was nice so I should help him out." Anthony closed his eyes and held his hand palm up and he made the paper in DeFranco's office fix itself. He then walked off using his power to make graphite atoms form words on the paper. After Anthony finished he went to the administration office and grabbed a map. He then made his way to his room and set his stuff on the empty bed. He then pulled out his notepad and schedule that he followed every day.

4:00 am: wake up and get ready

5:00 am: Do Tai Chi

6:00 am: practice

7:00 am: Eat

8:00 am: Meditate

9:00 am: Get to class

After class till 1:00 pm: Practice guitar

1:00 pm: Get to class.

After class ends until bed: Avoid the discussions about that damned auction. (Damn bus driver telling me about that.)

"Gotta watch other people get all flirty during class now while I get curbed. Figures." Anthony said knowing he was a prime target for bullying since more than one kid mocked him on his way to the dorm. Anthony went to the roof using his power to get past the door. He started his Tai Chi up there even though he was way off schedule due to dumb plane hijackers.

"The name is Tekis, and your boyfriend is my roommate."

Lyra's face turned bone white as the man uttered the word
"boyfriend". Lyra's mouth popped open as if she was going to say something, but the words simply wouldn't come. She looked at Tekis, and then at Johnathon, and then back at Tekis. Eyes wide, mouth hanging open...

Her goldfish impression was really quite good.

Finally, the girl managed to choke out, "He's not my boyfriend!"

Her face had turned white to pink to a deep shade of scarlet within seconds and she stared at the ground, continuing with, "We j-just met! I've only known him since y-yesterday! He's a great guy! B-but NOT MY BOYFRIEND!"

Dammit, this is the second time in two days somebody had assumed we were a couple. . .though I'm pretty sure Elsa did it to spite me. . .that damn nurse. . .

Lyra squirmed slightly, and without realizing it, gripped Johnathon's hand even tighter. She was desperate to change the subject. . .

"Tekis! What a cool name! It sounds like a HORRIBLE disease!"

Lyra paused, and then shook her head violently, "No, no, I-I just mean it kind of sounds like a disease. You know. . .Tekis. . .Tetanus. . .pretty weird, huh?"

Come on, Lyra, think!

"Oh, roommates! So you DO go to Hawthorne!" she coughed with a nervous smile. The girl reached out with her free hand to shake Tekis's, and said, "I-I am Lyra Connerson, Student Body President, Head of the Drama Club!"

Well, if there WAS a drama club.

Tekis

As always, Tekis' face stayed completely blank as Lyra kept on stating that his room mate was not her boyfriend ,then proceeded to shake his hand and mentioned her name ;I-I am Lyra Connerson, Student Body President, Head of the Drama Club. "Well forgive me Lyra, I never knew friends could hold hands so freely".You obviously have feelings for him, don't deny it Lyra. "So, Student Body President eh? The title suits you." Tekis looked down, sighed, and then looked back at Lyra. His face was blank and cold, his dark eyes glinting unseeingly with his mouth set in a tight line. "Sounds like a disease? Never heard that one before, I'll take it as a complement. Thanks".A disease? Since when diseases are cool? They KILL!

"Was there a Drama club? Last I checked it never existed, maybe I just over looked the list or something." Out of nowhere, a striking pain attacked the heart. However Tekis is used to it but his expression slightly changed, resembling a slight painful face.
Damn it... Out of all the times, why now? I'll look like a weakling.

@Rai\-Chan

"Hey freshman this is my roof so scram while you got a chance. Unless you think you can beat me in a fight with no powers." Some guy yelled from behind him with a obvious grin. " Great a muscle head moron with a jockstrap for a brain. Just what I need for my hour of practice." Anthony gave a sigh but turned towards the guy with a blank look on his face. "Don't make me laugh I could beat you without my powers and not even beak a sweat." Anthony said before turning away with his eyes closed he could smell the guy rising toward him. " You already failed captain jockstrap." Anthony thought to himself as he sidestepped making the guy miss barely. The guy got up and swung at him wildly but again missed and got mad as Anthony laughed. "You're loud, slow, and stupid like a mad rhino." Anthony said and the guy swung again but this time Anthony dodged and gave a strong counter to the man's inner forearm and knocked the man's arm limp. Anthony then started what looked like Tai Chi and began slowly tapping the guy but he was speeding up quickly. Anthony started hitting hard and fast and then finished with a leg sweep. The guy seemed unharmed but a little freaked out as he started running towards the nurses office to have his arm checked on.

~Headmistress Kinya Weatherstone~

"What the hell is going on up here?!"

Kinya did not look amused as she watched the boys fight, and when one of them tried to run passed her (presumably to the nurse), you could almost the see annoyance radiating off of the Headmistress. With amazing speed, she reached out and snatched the loser by the collar, and stormed towards the "winner" of the fight. Kinya narrowed her eyes, still gripping onto the "loser's" shirt, and placed her free hand on her hip.

"Surely, you must know that fighting between students is
strictly prohibited unless deemed a sparring match by authorized personnel." she growled as she looked down at the winner, and then up at the whimpering loser. Her gas mask just making her seem all the more intimidating. "Don't even try to call that self defense, both of you."

She glared up at the loser and grumbled, "You proposed a fight."

Then, she shot a nasty look at the winner, and growled, "But YOU accepted. And taunted him."

Kinya looked both of the boys over and tapped her gloves fingers along her hipbone. Finally, she asked, letting go of the loser's collar, "Why are you two up here, anyway? Why am I up here? Because one of my staff members had to CALL me because you were distracting him from his work!"

After all that had happened that afternoon, Kinya wasn't prepared to be very sympathetic to anything either of the boys said, no matter how good their excuses were. The last time she let a student break the rules, it came back around to bite her in the ass in the form of a stinkbomb.

Last year was not a good year.

"Give me one reason why I shouldn't suspend both of you right now? Or worse?" she growled.

"But... Well - Before I say this, keep in mind I'm stupid - But building up pressure in your arm... Couldn't that make your arm explode?" Ami reasoned. "And what if the 'missile' just stayed in your arm? It would burn you, and that would hurt, wouldn't it? Never mind - I'm just worrying about things that will never happen."

"No, you've got the right idea. those definitely WERE a possibility." He lifted up his burned arm and rotated in front of his eyes, as if he was examining the charred flesh. He felt that just leaving those questions unanswered was completely unnecessary, especially since he had the answers. "My arm exploding was the first concern I had, so I spent numerous weeks simply building pressure extremely slowly, adjusting it to the changes. It may sound strange, but I eventually figured out a way to have the flames eject themselves immediately if pressure got too great. An emergency release if you will, which is what happened here." He prodded his arm gently for no real reason, causing him to wince slightly. "Usually my body can withstand extreme temperatures, even to the point where I can light myself on fire, but I assume it is a combination of a high concentration mixed with the extreme velocity it has as it exits that causes this. Doesn't mean its 100% nit going to blow up, as there are possible scenarios that could result in my arm exploding before the emergency release works, but hey, what are you going to do?" He lowered his burnt arm and looked directly at Ami. "And besides, in order to achieve greatness, you have to take risks, and without those risks you'll never be better than those who took them. And what's the point in trying if you aren't trying to be number 1?" Okay, that sounded pretty cool. A little cheesy, but still good. I'm glad that coming up with these sayings over the break paid off. He still found it odd how she seemed worried about the whole 'exploding arm' thing. It wasn't her arm, and she barely knew him. The only reason he even considered coming up with a safety measure for his arm was because it would be inconvenient fighting unarmed. Of course, he knew he was much more cold about these type of things than most people.

"When I can stand again and you're sure you're OK, want to go to town with me? I was meaning to go, but I, er, got a bit sidetracked."

Mars tossed the idea around in his head for a few seconds. He wasn't exactly going to be practicing anymore, considering his condition, and he definitely didn't want to clean up the tea party again, so those options were out. I COULD go back to the room and get some early reading done on my book. I'm at a good spot in it as well... Mars mentally shook his mind clear of those thoughts. He was a member of student council, and if he didn't do his best to introduce new people then he wasn't doing his best. "Sure, I see no reason not to, though I don't know if the nurse will want me going out with an injury like this." He chuckled mildly at this, subconsciously adjusting his shirt at the same time. Who knows? If he was able to get to town, he may find some things of interest, like another book on advanced physics or some new shoes. There was also Johnathan and Lyra, though whether they went to town and were still there was unknown to him.

~Lyra~

"So, Student Body President eh? The title suits you."

Lyra couldn't help but smile. Of course, compliments like that weren't unfamiliar to Lyra. She heard them every day. . .but that didn't mean she ever got tired of it. Lyra twirled the end of her pigtail around one of the fingers on her free hand and said, "Well, thank you. That means a lot to me, Tekis. I do my best!"

"Was there a Drama club? Last I checked it never existed, maybe I just over looked the list or something."

Lyra felt her cheeks redden, and she stared down at her feet, mumbling, "Well, it's not OFFICIALLY a club. Yet. I've been trying to get people to join, but I need at least two more, plus a staff member to oversee it all. So far, I haven't had much luck. . ."

She hadn't had any luck, actually. Lyra looked back up at Tekis and laughed sheepishly, "But it'll get started somehow!"

Suddenly, the man winced. Lyra probably wouldn't have noticed if she had been looking away, but since she had been looking right at his face, the small change in his countenance was apparent to Lyra. It was only a slight twinge of pain, it seemed. . .but that wasn't going to stop Lyra from asking if he was okay.

Lyra's eyebrows knit together in concern as she tilted her head and asked, "Are you alright?

((Will have a post for Crysta soon!))

~Professor Crysta Chime~

Crysta rose after she drained the last bit of tea from her cup, and set the dirtied saucer down next to the stove.

"That's good to know miss,"

Crysta perked up slightly upon hearing Luke's voice, and she turned towards him (well, she turned towards his voice). She was about to open her mouth to speak, but the boy kept going.

"I'm happy you've went to such lengths for me, but I have to ask you this. What would happen if I suddenly got out of control? Would you have a means of subduing me? I bloody well hope so! I might be the rowdiest student to ever enter you class..."

"Don't be ridiculous!" Crysta interrupted with a smile. "You would be surprised. Last year, my class was nothing but troublemakers and. . .and. . .well, they just weren't too bright. I seem to have a good group this year, and now you're a part of it!"

Crysta opened the door that lead into a small, clean bathroom. She didn't bother closing it, she was only washing her face. The woman carefully removed her blindfold, draping it neatly over the faucet, and said, "Ooh, I thought that silk wouldn't irritate my eyes. . .I guess I should try satin, yes?"

She turned towards Luke, her irises, instead of being dead blue that one would've expected her eyes to be, were a vibrant yellow. From a distance, she seemingly didn't have pupils, but if you looked close enough, you would see one. . .in a very light orange-ish color. They weren't scary to look at, just different.

"I hope you don't mind." she smiled, turning back towards the sink and running the cold water. She splashed her face a few times, rubbed her eyes, and then turned off the water. "People, for some reason, get the idea that I try to hide my eyes. I don't really know how they look, but they can't be that bad. I just wear a blindfold so a bug doesn't fly into my eyes or something. . ."

Tekis

"Are you alright?" Tekis looked at Lyra, the pain ceases to throb, returning Tekis to his normal state. "Ehh, I'm fine, thanks for asking. I just have a slight pain in my chest, nothing serious I assure you." No one can know about this, they will see me as a weakling. They can't know the truth. "Thanks for caring, really. No one else has cared enough to talk to me, so you have my thanks" I guess compliments are a good way to make a "friend", the kind old man always told me to make some, so I'm fulfilling his wishes".

Tekis' face remained emotionless, cold was his voice, not showing a hint of feeling. Accidentally, his right sleeve pulled back a bit, revealing a long scar starting from Tekis' wrist and ending at his elbow. He quickly pulls the sleeve down, startled almost.
You complete dumbass, now she will start asking questions, well; she looks faithful enough. I COULD trust her. But my past with woman is just sorrow and darkness.

"Um actually I was doing Tai Chi and that wasn't a taunt it was a fact was it not?" Anthony said motioning to the sore boy who looked at Anthony then the headmistress and back again. "And besides we weren't fighting we were sparring. Simple practice." Anthony said and the guy whimpered in agreement at the comment. "Also I just got here so technically you can't expect me to know all the rules already." Anthony said with a shrug before giving a sigh as he looked at her with his blue eyes. "Though I guess we should have known better and as such I suggest you do whatever pleases you Miss." Anthony gave a wince before pulling out his pills and again pulling a glass full of moisture from the air. He took his meds and then worried about his again bleeding nose but his face kept it's color this time.
