Fantasy Hawthorne Academy

~Rafaela~

Woooow... This place is huge. But yeah, where's the bathroom? that was the first thought that passed through Rafaela's mind. Now, it's not that she didn't appreciate the architecture of the Academy, she did, but she also needed a bathroom. Urgently. She jumped side to side, trying to contain the liquid that was almost making its way out. Shit shit shit shit. A butterfly approached the girl, that was now almost purple.

"I know! I'm sorry! I should've peed before leaving the lair! Yeah, well, I already apologized, if you're going to be such a b*tch about it, go find me a toilet!" To those who didn't know her, she seemed crazy. Well, it did look like she was talking alone, seeing that no one ever considered the butterfly. She rolled her eyes at the little insect, who flew to somewhere far away from there.

"Hey! Come on! I was kidding!" Rafaela made exaggerated gestures with her arms, before dropping them to her sides and sighing frustratedly. "Borboleta estúpida..." She hissed under her breath. Her eyes stared at the Academy once again, swearing under her breath about how come an Academy that big didn't have a toilet with easy access. Hiding her indignation, she started to ask directions to the nearer bathroom, hoping that some gentle soul would free her from such cruelty.

(Borboleta estúpida: Stupid butterfly)

The first thing Tami did when she set foot on the grounds of The Academy was flip her hair to the side. It was wild and wavy, and the flip gave it even more volume then it had naturally. Back at her old school where she'd transferred, she would always joke that the only perfect thing about her was her hair. She could use any shampoo, go out in any weather, and it would always look beautiful. A few of the passerby students glanced at her. She always had an aura about her that made her stand out.

I better go to the bathroom before I find out where I'm staying. It could take a while. But just before she opened the door to go inside, she noticed a pleasant girl making exaggerated gestures out the corner of her eye.

"I know! I'm sorry! I should've peed before leaving the lair! Yeah, well, I already apologized, if you're going to be such a b*tch about it, go find me a toilet!" said the girl.

Tami swallowed her spit. Making friends was always awkward, but then again, she was kind of good at it. "Excuse me," she called out to Rafaela, "There's a bathroom right here if you need it. I know I always have trouble finding things. And...sorry for interrupting your conversation!"

~Professor Crysta Chime~

Crysta was slightly puzzled by what Luke meant by "a friend" until she once again heard the voice. The same voice that was echoing within the boy's thoughts. Still she didn't know if this. . .thing. . .was malevolent or not, even though "benevolent" wasn't exactly the word to describe it. It had something very mischievous about it, but she couldn't tell if it was an innocent sort of mischief or not. . .and that bothered her.

Crysta didn't like the feeling of being unsure, more so than any other person. Crysta solely relied on her powers to do something as simple as seeing things around her. Since her ability was sensing the energy in everything around her, she had trained herself to create shapes with that energy, almost perfectly duplicating her surroundings in her mind. . .but if she wasn't sure of something's energy, then the images in her mind began to grow fuzzy, thus resulting in a quite uncomfortable state of darkness.

Crysta didn't flinch when Luke's mask was nose to nose with her. The boy towered over her, despite how many years older she was. She didn't feel uncomfortable in the slightest. She wanted to reach and touch to mask, to get a better look at its energy, but decided against it once she remembered what had happened the last time she tried something like that. This energy was strong, she could feel that much. . .but would it attack her, like Aleksander's aura had? She didn't want to risk it.

"Why, hello." she said softly, listening the the mask's rambling. With every word it uttered, a little more was revealed. . .but it simply wasn't enough to satisfy Crysta.

She had to know more.

((replies for everyone else will be up soon)

The masked-man recoiled away from the woman, a bit saddened that he didn't make her scared in the slightest. He usually tried to get some sort of reaction out of a person that he was conversing with, no matter who they may be. A scared reaction was the preferred, but if he made them laugh or cry, that was just as good. The madman inside his head deducted that she was indeed seeping around in his head for information for him and about his other, Luke. What inclined them to be so noteworthy despite the dissociative personality disorder, was completely beyond the maniacal man's grasp of logic. Was it the fact that they carried a mask around wherever they went? The fact that they happen to be from Ireland? Or was it the fact that they had multiple personality disorder, or was it something else entirely? Whatever the desired answer was, Lunatic Luke was far from reaching it. Nonetheless, the persona partaking sat himself on the ground with legs crossed, ready to tell a story of grandeur, a tale of how he came to be the completion of who Luke Bell really was.

"You see my dear lady," he began, stroking an otherwise absent but apparently present moustache, "You and I are about to embark on a visit to our past, to which I will endear you to in just a brief moment! As you probably noticed by now, Luke and myself couldn't be any more different; well, at least I hope you do...right? Now that would be exciting! Nonetheless, let me begin."

"Luke was a very timid child despite being open as many have remarked; the poor guy could be bullied by the scrawniest of children, the most diminutive of infants. I didn't like that AT ALL. So naturally, I felt inclined to give a certain degree of payback to all those who made him a means of laughing at. SO, I would go out at night, where the shadows are at my disposal, where our gift, could be used to it's optimum capability. With this mask in hand, I would SNEAK into the bullies house, sliding through the shadows like an eel in the water. Sleeping soundly in their beads was one of the cutest things a woman like yourself could imagine if you took that bloody thing off! Regardless! I would expose my head right next to there's and whisper..."

Hefting himself to his feet with a sigh of reluctance, he muttered in her ear, "Tick tock, the darkness talks!"

Seating himself once again, he continued.

"They would wake up, scared to death as per usual. Great so it t'was! I would drift all around the room, their hands searching for me frantically, making sure to keep me in sight. Useless, useless, useless! You might as well have looked for a needle in a haystack! So I carefully implored them to treat Luke Bell with the respect he deserves and if they didn't...well, hehe, I guess you can imagine. I'll let him back on now, he's bursting to come back on the pitch! Until then Chime!!!"

With that, the mask was taking from his face and a body heaved to his face.

"Sorry about all that," he apologized, hanging his head for a moment, "Sorry if I scared you, although I imagine you're more tough then me."

Shinji expected Blake to snap at him, Blake standing up with his arms crossed and yelling at Shinji, about to chew his head off maybe but he didn't. He did what Shinji never expected for him to do, the white blindfold he would have covering his right eye being taken off and revealing a pure white pupil just like Geno but the iris being completely white as if he was blind. Along the eye was a scar that came from hos cheeks up to his brows. Shinji was a bit shocked by the sight of it but kept his cool, a small smile formed on his lips at Blake's words.

It seemed that he was being a bit too forward in his words, placing a hand over Blake's cheeks,"Thanks Blake." Was all he said and pulling his head closer to his, their foreheads pressed together while Shinji closed his eyes,"I'm sorry but... I won't be able to tell you yet... maybe when the time is right, I'll tell you the whole story." Shinji said, their head still close together with Shinji's nose slightly brushing over Blake's and their lips inches away from kissing but Shinji didn't dare do it. Instead, Shinji pulled away a bit and pressed his lips over Blake's right eye. It was a small peck as Shinji backed away and his smile growing bigger,"Maybe one day you will tell me your story as well." Shinji said, looking forward to the day when they could finally understand one another.

Calista held her hands over her teary face but then the feeling of Geno's warm hands cupping her own in his, removing them from her face and revealing her glossy crystal-blue eyes with little speck of tears in the corner of her eyes. Geno seemed not bother by her actions, staring into his eyes and seeing that he was being honest here. It made Calista's heart race like the wind and how his black hair fell so perfectly, it just made Calista's heart race more but the next thing Calista knew, she felt as if she could lose her breath in seconds.

She didn't believe it but she clearly heard Geno calling her "beautiful" the words linger in her mind and stream feeling like it was coming from her face as it was bright red like Mars. She felt like she could literally just pass out now as Geno pulled her in his embrace, the feeling of Geno's body heat overwhelmed her and made it feel like she was underwater suffering from breathing. Geno must have felt her heartbeat by now seeing that they were so close together.

Calista wasn't paying attention but her hands moved unconsciously, placing her hand on his back and clenching his shirt. Hiding her face in his shoulder, she felt she could just drown in this feeling, her heart filled with this warm, fuzzy feeling as if she had a fever. This feeling she never felt before since this was all new to her but she could already tell what it was but dared not to admit it so soon,"G-g-geno... I-i-i'm v-very... h-happy." Calista stuttered out, not sure what to say since her head was too fuzzy to even think straight. This feeling felt intoxicating and made her want it more as if it was a drug that she just got addicted to, she wanted to learn more about Geno, the feeling of greed to know him more grew continuously.

Alain would have chuckled at how cute she was, her voice so soft and adorably shy, it made Alain want to squeeze her in a tight hug. Taking her hand in his, he helped her up onto her feet, the girl dusting herself and stared up at him. It seemed she was checking him out a bit, learning his face as he also did the same, staring into her sky-blue eyes that reminded him of the girl he met before... Calista was it? But this girl's eye was much more lighter than Calista's and had a more how can he describe it... cuteness? Something along the line but she seemed to be a bit more nicer than Calista, remembering that time when Calista left him all alone... he was pretty depressed by that but she must have been busy.

Softly chuckling at her silly question, Alain nod and gave her a nice smile,"Yes, I bid 7000 dollars for you so I hope you will accept me." Alain said tilting his head slightly when he find out her name,"It's a pleasure to meet you Princess Soraphine. I'll be your prince for today, Alain Olliston at your service. You can call me Al if you like." Alain teasingly said taking a small bow and placing a kiss on the back of her hand,"You have really soft hands and they're so small, how cute." Alain comment making circles on her hand but not in a flirty way but more of a gentleman-like way. He wasn't trying to come off as some flirt but she was just so cute that he couldn't resist but show her some affection.

~Lyra~

Lyra found herself tugging at one of her pigtails, feeling herself being slowly suffocated by the tension in the air. She couldn't bring herself to look up from the ground as he spoke, and only looked up to meet his eyes when he said, "I am sorry . . . on some days I feel I can speak Polish infinitely better than English. The words aren't . . . per se, coming to me as I'd like."

She offered a small smile and gave a slight nod of the head before saying, "I know how that feels...well, except I only speak English...and gibberish...and I'll shut up now..."

She trailed off her eyes drifting to the ground once again. What the heck was the matter with her? For the first time in the seventeen years she had been alive, she couldn't think of a single thing to say. She could feel the same familiar pit start to form in her stomach...why? She hadn't felt like this with any other person she'd met before. She still stuck by her theory that she was just allergic to Johnathon or something bizarre like that.

"Hey, shopping doesn't sound like such a bad idea. If we were to go the mall there would be plenty to see and do. Er, wait...only if you haven't done that already. It would be a bore, I'd think, to revisit and see the same things repeatedly."

Lyra looked up again, and found herself grinning. She loved going to the mall, as there were tons of things to do, as Johnathon said. There were those cool trampolines that you could go super high on thanks to those cool bungee cords...but Lyra was terrified of heights, so that was probably out. There was the arcade, which could be fun for a little bit. If Johnathon was interested in video games...

"That's perfect!" Lyra beamed, absently taking his hand and starting towards the front gates. "We'd better hurry to catch the next bus over, alright?".

[/QUOTE]
Johnathon was caught somewhat off guard as the girl took his hand. Her hand was surprisingly warm, soothing, and he allowed himself to be dragged along to the bus.

"We'd better hurry to catch the next bus over, alright?"

John nodded, replying simply, "I'll follow your lead." Perhaps it was time to wipe the solemn and nervous expression off his face, but when he tried to smile it came out temperamental. This he proceeded to try and fix as they boarded the next bus and sat down, screwing up his face in various expressions, attempting to get the corners of his mouth to turn into something genuine. It wasn't working. Upon instinct, he reached into his pocket and retrieved the small tube-like form of a cigarette, and within moments of inhaling the tobacco, he found his body slipping into a relaxed state. The wonder of Polish tobacco, he thought, only blushing slightly as he realized Lyra had gone ignored. "Cholerny," he cursed under his breath, giving the back of his head a good scratch of embarrassment. "Eh, sorry, Lyra. Mm . . . I, eh . . . "

The bus went over a bump in the road, jolting Jonathon a little in his seat and causing him to prematurely exhale his cigarette smoke, also causing him to cough. He wiped his mouth with the backside of his hand, grunting, then arched his shoulders forward as he focused on the dull floor of the bus. He was at a complete loss for words and English vocabulary altogether, and the feeling of helplessness that was overcoming him uncomfortably seeped throughout every part of his body, making him feel a little cold. You're acting so strange, he told himself. The effects of the tobacco were no longer working to help him relax. I'm always feeling strange like this around her. It then came to his attention Lyra had let go of his hand, and glancing down at his own, wrung together and sagging in his lap, he felt the need to move them. But, when he tried, none of the natural or casual positions to place his hands in worked. John was increasingly feeling the weight of his hands - now unwanted accessories - and fighting with the inner annoyance they brought, teetering him on edge. For the love of-- His hand suddenly moved on its own accord, linking with Lyra's. He was surprised beyond words at his own action, and it took every ounce of strength in his body to not stare down at their hands. The hairs on the back of his neck were standing on end now, a blush barely suppressed from his cheeks. Act casual, was all that he thought; he needed to for both their sakes. Thankfully, they'd be at their stop soon, and then he could breathe again.

(I'll get Ryuu's post up tonight!)

~Lyra~

Lyra silently held her breath as the reek of smoke filled the air, and she had casual pulled her hand away from his. It took an amazing amount of willpower to not yank the smoldering cigarette from his lips and crushing it under her sneaker, but she somehow managed to keep her hands at her sides. As much as she hated smoking, it really was none of her business what Johnathon did, even if it was destroying his lungs. He probably knew that, though. The girl heard the man utter an apology, which she acknowledged with a simple nod. What was she getting herself into?

Lyra was so lost in thought that once she had stopped spacing out, she had already climbed onto the bus and was sitting next to her date for the afternoon, a cigarette still hanging from his mouth. Sighing, the girl started looking around. Lyra noticed that not many students were aboard the bus. Of course, this was probably one of the first shuttles to leave Hawthorne, so it was understandable. Still, it was nice to have mostly the entire bus to themselves.

Lyra's thoughts were interrupted by a loud cough from the person beside her. Lyra turned, her hand raising almost on its own to pat the man's back...but she lowered it back into her lap, letting out another sigh. The corners of her mouth were tugged down by the worry she felt for Johnathon. How long had he been smoking?

It's none of my business.

Lyra blinked for a moment, and then looked away, resting her head on the window and watching the trees whiz by. She could feel the caffeine from the Mountain Dew wearing off, and she struggled to keep her eyes open.

No! This date hasn't even started! Johnathon sure as hell didn't blow 2000 dollars to watch some idiot sleep on a bus!

At that moment, Lyra felt Johnathon's hand envelope her own. The girl's eyes drifted down to their hands, and she could feel the blush. It wasn't just in her cheeks, oh no. She could feel it in her forehead, her neck...her
ears. She immediately looked away, and her thoughts were going about a mile a minute.

Why is he holding my hand? Come on, there must be a reason. Maybe his hands are cold? No...they're warm...so warm...SHUT UP, BRAIN!

Lyra's eyes drifted down to her leg.

Can someone die from restless leg syndrome?

Finally, the bus screeched to a stop. Lyra had never been so quick in her entire life. She stood, pulling her hand from Johnathon, and awkwardly stumbled out of the bus.

She wasn't tired anymore.

~Professor Xavier Caige~

Leaning back on the wall beside the sinks, Xavier said, "The new students? Kid, they were all dealt with yesterday. Did you just get here or were you asleep during all of that?"

The man crossed his arms, looking the boy over. He really didn't look so good, and Xavier would have suggested going to the nurse if he were in a more helpful mood...but hey, the last time he tried to help a student, it didn't really end all that well. In fact, whenever he tried to help a student it didn't end all that well. Somehow, it always just came back around to bite him in the ass. Why couldn't he just go home without SOMETHING stopping him? It was Saturday. He should be in bed. It was only 3:00 p.m! It was way too early to be up.

"I suggest you go find your teachers and collect your homework." Xavier said, straightening up.

Don't do it. Don't do it, Xavier...just...don't...

"If you tell me what classes you have, I can't help you find them."

And you did it.

(A post for Kahra will be up soon!)

Tekis

After a long day looking around in the town, Tekis thought that that was enough exploring for today. Tekis hopped on the nearest bus. As he sat down, he wondered "Well, at least the town is peaceful and quite. I can walk around here and ease my thoughts. Finally". As he was sitting he noticed a guy sitting with a woman. They looked like they were on a date; "Dating, I'll never understand it" Tekis muttered. "In the past, woman have slowed me down; they make my feeling get in my way of training. I don't allow my self to love any more..."

In further inspection, Tekis got a feeling that the guy was his room mate, he did not know how, he just had a feeling. The bus stopped to a halt, and the driver opened the doors. The couples got up and got off, Tekis did too. He went up towards the supposed room mate and asked "Do you have a smoke by any chance? Mine ran out." Tekis' face did not change his expression. "This guy is obviously my room mate. I noticed a packet of smokes back in my room, so it must be!" Tetis thought. "I guess this is a way of communicating nicely, I don't socialise well, so I don't really know".

~Kahra~

Kahra gave a small smile and nodded at the girl. It was slightly pathetic how she alluded that she didn't have any friends, and Kahra couldn't help but feel a quiver of sympathy for the girl. Surely she had at least ONE friend, right? Well, if not, Kahra was going to fix that. Right there, right at that moment.

The girl grinned and said, "Well, if I call you Cylva, that means we're friends, okay!"

Kahra turned towards Nichole, who had run over not long after she had, and said, "Nichole, this is Cylva. Cylva, this is Nichole. Oh, look at us, we're all practically besties already--"

Then, she felt it. The light, tickling of something crawling up her leg. Kahra silently prayed it wasn't a bug, she had had enough of those since she arrived. Just the thought of something creepy and crawly slinking up her leg was enough to make the thin hairs on her arms stand on end. Did she dare look? Slowly, Kahra's eyes drifted down to her knee.

A big, nasty, horrible, ugly cricket. It had the longest legs Kahra had ever seen, and it much resembled the one that nearly killed her the day before. Well, it didn't nearly kill her. She did that herself.

"GET IT OFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!"

The screech was enough to make birds flee from the trees near the girl, who was now maniacally thrusting her leg into the air, crying and screaming as she did. The cricket had been thrown off, and innocently hopped away, but Kahra continued flipping out.

Nichole winced rubbing her ears."nice to meet you cylva!" She then placed her hands on kahara's shoulders. "Calm down! Its off!" Nichole got an idea and used her water and ice powers again. She molded then into a orchid. "There." Nichole said giving it to kahara to calm her. Then made another flower for cylva. "Here you are." Giving it to her. Nichole smiled and hugged her toys close.

She's definitely a bit odd... the thought came as Kahra determined, against Cylvaara's will, that they were now friends. Truth be told, Cylva wasn't even sure if she'd had any friends before. She hadn't had any contact with anyone outside of her family for years, due to her... condition. The only friend Cylva was certain she'd ever possessed, was her mother. She cringed internally, thinking of how pathetic that would sound, if she'd ever spoken those words, and resolved to keep those thoughts to herself. Forever.

"Besties...?" Cylva hadn't the slightest idea what a "bestie" might be. But apparently, herself, and the two girls she'd met only a few minutes before, were now whatever the word entailed. She offered an awkward wave to the girl who had been introduced as Nichole, and continued. "What's a--" her question was interrupted, and she jumped as Kahra let out a deafening screech.

Cylva turned as quickly as she could to find the source of the terror instilled in the girl, and let out a loud laugh, as she saw the cricket fly from Kahra, and leap away through the grass. "Kahra, it's only a cricket! Relax!" Though the smile on her face was filled with humor, she couldn't help but feel concern for the girl. After a slight pause, she added in an amused tone, "though, for a cricket, it was definitely quite ferocious." Again she laughed, watching as Nichole offered Kahra a flower made of ice, and then offered one to herself, as well. It was beautiful. She took it, and examined the flower carefully, marveling at the clarity of the ice. "Thank you, Nichole. It's beautiful." She found herself wishing she could create such beauty, though for the time being, it appeared as though all the crystal on her arm was good for, was not coming off. Once again, she looked back over to Kahra. "Are you alright? If I need to, I can hunt that cricket down, to make sure it doesn't threaten you ever again." The tone of her voice was decidedly playful.

Nichole said"welcome!" Smiling. she then looked at Cylva's arm. "We should take you to the nurse." She said concerned. "Lets go girls." She said smiling and started to walk to the school and waited on them. Nichole moved her hair from her eyes and huffed as it got in her face again. Nichole waited patiently for the two and smiled.

Geno was starting to get very uncomfortable. Besides all of his mental peptalk and forcing, he didn't really feel better about hugging her like that. He felt like a creep. But her heart.. So close to his. He liked that the thought of that, and she wasn't rejecting him. Maybe she was scared of him? That's the last thing he wanted! No, no, no, no! Don't tell me she's afraid! Why was this so hard? She-

... She hugged him back. Suddenly everything was worth it. He had so little confidence in himself, he was convinced he'd get rejected if he opened up, even slightly. No, she was different. She seemed okay with him. It felt like she was directly hugging his heart. His thought wandered back to his past. He'd never had real friends, even less so of the opposite gender. It had gotten better, he had learned to adapt, but this? He'd never expected it in a billion years. Her head pressed against his shoulder... Man, after all that fancy education he'd gotten, after all those hours with private teachers, he still didn't have the words to describe it... Love sounded dull, and beauty almost repulsive in comparison. He could stay like that forever.

"G-g-geno... I-i-i'm v-very... h-happy." The words cut deep, and not necessarily in a bad way. Something deep in him turned, and his heart started beating out of his chest. That someone could get happy from him was touching. Deeply touching. A single black tear formed in his left eye, and started running down his cheek. When he realized it, he quickly swiped it away with his arm, to avoid putting black stains on her clothes. A smile formed on his face, and he leaned his chin on her shoulder. Yeah, everything at this moment was perfect. Unbreakable. And she was even on his team(Yepp, setting that up.) "Yeah.. Me too.."

The bus stopped, and his bubble of perfection was popped. Now they had to do things. Aw man, starting to do things was always the bad part. No, no. Not falling into that state of mind again. His heart was still pounding, and he was going to use that adrenaline to build up some sort of enthusiasm. He gently pushed her away from himself, and grabbed her hand again. He pulled her with him off of the bus, and with a smile exclaimed "Now, please show me the carnival!"

~Rafaela~

Rafaela was almost at her limit now, she could see the same butterfly far away looking at her. It looked like the butterfly was...shaking? Well, that shaking of the insect made Rafaela blush as hell, she pointed at it with a finger and opened her mouth, but before she could say anything, she heard an "Excuse me". Rafaela searched for the source of the voice, her eyes stopping on a girl not too far from her. At first she was confused, after all, she was having a situation here, wasn't that clear? But then the girl said it, "There's a bathroom right here if you need." That same sentence kept repeating in her mind until the meaning came to her. In less than a second, she was on her knees in front of the girl, holding both of her hands between hers own. Her eyes shone.

"I have no doubts. Now I know. Lord exists! And he sent me an angel!" She looked to the sky and practically shouted with a voice full of delight. "Lord! Deus! Thank you so much! I thought I was already wrapped in the hands of Evil! But Loord! Now, now I can feel my soul full of relief! I can pee!" At that exact moment, a white pigeon flew trough there. Rafaela got on her feet and looked at Tami once again. "Now, my angel, I'm going to go pee. And once again, muito obrigada!" Then, she vanished from there as she dashed quickly towards the bathroom. That same white pigeon landed right beside Tami, apparently waiting for Raph.

Muito obrigada: thank you very much)

A 16 year old boy has entered the Academy, with bags in town and happy as a clam. It was an awesome when it turned out that he has like some sort superhero from a comic book but having the opportunity to attend it and learn about a magical world was just the icing on the cake. He was very hopeful of his future here. With his envelope in had, he walked toward his dorm with his head held high. It seems that he would be living with two other people which was totally fine with him, the more the merrier!

He arrived to his room and opened the door to it. As Travis entered the room, he noticed that apparently his roommates haven't arrived yet. He hoped that they will arrive soon so he can meet them. He unpacked his luggage and sorted his clothes before putting them in a dresser. He also put a frame that held a photo of his parents and siblings on the nightstand beside the best. It was the first time he has ever lived far away from home, so he hoped that he wouldn't get homesick.

Now that he was done, he thought that he should explore the place that he would call his new home. He left and locked the door of his room before he went to explore the campus.

Her chocolate eyes form two enlarged circles as Rafaela gets down on her knees and praises the Lord.

After the initial surprise wears off (which is about the same time the friendly stranger holds her hand) Tami smiles at Rafaela in a way that crinkles her nose. Tami is quick to understand that, like herself, Rafaela is a free spirit, even in public.

Often, Tami's old friends would shoot her looks for laughing so loudly. Once when they were chatting in the mall, Tami chuckled so hard the sound bounced off the roof and, for a brief moment, echoed through the building.

With this in mind, she squeezes Rafeala's hand and said, "You're an angel yourself, dear. I like you!"

After she waves the bathroom-bound Rafeala goodbye, Tami is surprised for a second time by the entrance of a white pigeon. "Hi little guy!" she says softly, "Here..." she digs in her purse and pulls out some bird seeds. Tami always keeps them handy because she likes feeding birds, but knows stuff like bread is bad for them.

Soon she sees a boy walking her way. It's Travis, a peer who seems a couple years her junior She notices the way he looks around, as if it's his first time seeing the Academy. When he gets closer, Tami takes a deep breath and asks him, "Are you new here too? Beautiful place, isn't it? If you're anything like me, you're struggling to take it all in!"

"I did indeed just arrive had plane troubles. I have healing and protection 101 and otherworld history. Sir." Anthony said giving a bit of a straighter stance as he spoke not intimidated by any man. Since he was trapped in the wild for a while after a plane crash he hadn't been afraid of people for a while. He had survived a lot of things that would scare most people to death.

Day one of the plane crash.

Anthony woke to a strange sound and a warm feeling by his kidney. "What happened? Holy cr.... Cr... I gotta call for help." He said as his teeth chattered and his side was still warm. The seat and a luggage compartment were the only surviving peices of the plane. Anthony scrambled for the luggage compartment and opened it. "Please have my pills, please have my pills, please have my pills!" Anthony was practically chanting as he tore the open the container and he stopped and started crying as he saw his pills. This was a great start to a survival attempt in the middle of the frozen wilderness....

(I hope that was okay.)

To his surprise Shinji grinned at his little rant, though Blake was also surprised at himself, how much he revealed to Shinji and how he went from furious to comforting him in a matter of seconds. Shinji just made his feelings…all jumbled up. Sometimes he just wanted to smash his lips on Shinji’s but other times he wanted to smack him across the face. When Shinji put a hand on his cheek and pressed their foreheads together Blake felt himself melt. It just felt so…right. Blake just wanted to wrap his arms around him and bury his head on his shoulder…but he couldn’t. A part of him just wouldn’t let himself get close like that, take that step. Instead he listened to Shinji’s explain to him that he might tell him someday and then brush his nose over his, their lips almost touching but it looked like Shinji didn’t want to take the step either as he backed off and kissed his eye. His eye practically burned when he kissed it, including his entire face. Feeling he had to do something Blake lightly kissed Shinji’s marking under his left eye in the spur of the moment.

“Maybe I will…if of course we get a little closer…” Blake practically purred.

Blake had no idea what he was doing, but he couldn’t help it. This was just like something he did with his ex-boyfriend…but better, tenderer and less…crazily possessive. Cupping Shinji’s cheek Blake kissed the mark once more before putting his eye patch back on.

(I feel like I'm taking this too fast...I regret nothing!)

~Rafaela~

After Rafaela was done doing her business, she got out of the bathroom. She was surprised to see Tami still there and feeding Tom, the pigeon. She already knew she was going to like that girl, whoever is a friend of animals, is her friend as well.

"I see you've already met Tom." She said while walking towards them. The pigeon, Tom, flew from the ground to land on Raph's shoulder. "Hey there, buddy." The animal opened his wings, which made Rafaela laugh. "Yeah, ok ok. Sorry." Her eyes were on Tami once again, she stared at the girl, watching her from feet to head. She seemed nice. And she was cute.

"So, I guess you're new here as well, right?" She asked while picking up her bag that she had dropped before storming into the bathroom. She lightly slapped it, cleaning the dust of the ground. She swung her bag over her free shoulder, the action making the pigeon open it's wings again to balance itself. Raph whispered a quiet "Sorry" under her breath.

Travis looked around around the academy and it was just as he thought, big. It looks like he will be doing a lot of walking around here. While looking around, a girl suddenly approached him, she apparently managed to tell that he was new. "Ah yes!" He confirmed her assumption. "It's very big. I just arrived here. Are you new here to?" He asked her. Another girl appeared too, she seemed to know the one who was talking to him. "Oh hi!" He greeted her.

~Kahra~

After a few more seconds of maniacal flailing, Kahra finally calmed down. Her face was red, frantic tears were streaming down her cheeks, and her hair was sticking out at all ends. The girl rubbed her eyes and stuttered, "I...I just..."

She shuddered, throwing her hair back into its original ponytail, finishing with, "I just...really hate bugs. And that stupid cricket is the bane of my existence, I tell you! He's out to get me! Or she...does it even matter, it's gross either way!"

The girl dusted off her shirt, only then noticing the gorgeous ice orchid that Nichole had presented to her. Kahra blinked at it, taking the freezing object in her hands and saying, "Wow, Nichole! This is really pretty! Thanks!"

It was beautiful. It's crystal clear stem swirling into a bursting, icy bud was awe inducing. Kahra dreaded the time that it would melt, for that was inevitable. But for the time being, Kahra could enjoy it in all its frozen glory.

"Well...are you guys hungry?" Kahra asked with a smile. "I think the dining hall is still serving lunch...unless you had plans for the afternoon?"

((I will have a post for Xavier later this afternoon!)

Nichole said"sure lets get lunch! I wonder what they're serving." Smiling. Her stomach growled and she blushed some. "Yea my stomach said give me food woman!" Giggling. "What do you think they'll be serving angel, jesse?" Looking at her toys. "Mmm burgers!" " salad!" Nichole giggled as she voiced for them again. It was pretty silly. Even though a bit disturbing.

Cylva nodded. She hadn't eaten since the previous day, and suddenly realized how hungry she was. "Lunch sounds amazing!" Her stomach rumbled loudly, in agreement. "How's the food here, anyway?" She assumed the other girls knew, as she had been supposed to arrive the previous day, per the invitation, but hadn't quite made it.

Nichole said"the food is awesome! " Smiling. "Ooh and they have the most delicious sweets!" Bouncing on her toes. Nichole blinked and caught her letter again. "Huh might as well open it now?" Nichole opened it and unfolded the paper.

Excited, though she was, at the idea of eating, she shuddered slightly when the girl mentioned sweets. Cylva hadn't been a fan of sweets, ever since the experiments had started. Father liked sweets, didn't he...? Yes. They reminded her of him. She'd always received a gift of sweets, after each of the experiments. The thought repulsed her. Cylva's mood darkened slightly. Though she feigned a smile to counteract her inner turmoil, it couldn't have been very convincing, the smile not quite reaching her eyes. "Well, let's go, then. I'm starving, and I'll eat just about anything." Except sweets.

Suddenly realizing they had yet to encounter any other students, she turned to Kahra. "Kahra, where are all of the other students? I can't imagine we're the only ones, yet the two of you are the only ones I've seen, since I was given my room key. With a building so large, there can't really be so few students, can there?"
