Fantasy Hawthorne Academy

Not waiting for Alain to respond, Geno got fully dressed and took a couple steps towards the door, only to stop and turn around. He scanned the room with his eyes for a second, and then grabbed a chequebook from his bag. He didn't really know how the auction would turn out, but he had to donate a nice amount to the school, regardless of who he bid on. He felt confident that there probably wasn't many who could bid as high as him. Well, he shouldn't speak too soon, it's a big school.

Back at the tent he saw Lyra carrying off some teapot to Mars. He looked around and didn't really see anyone else to talk to at first glance, so he walked up to her. "Hello there.. Lyra, was it? Sorry for that half-arsed compliment earlier. You really look great, you shouldn't worry about it." He said, conjuring up the warmest smile he could. Hopefully he could get the point across. He truly thought that she looked more than sufficiently good enough for this.

He then noticed that she looked slightly... Upset, was the best word he could come to think of. "Um, are you alright? Need help with anything?" He didn't actually want to lock himself in work with anything, but he felt like it would be a nice gesture.

LUNATIO GRIMALDO

Luna looked down to where the female voice had fallen, and bent on one knee, getting a clear view of her face. Her brown hair had fallen to her shoulders and her eyes were covered with a blindfold. Thinking to himself that he should act normal, he had to talk normally, which was a drag for him. "Oh excuse me. I am so sorry for that. Are you ok miss? Are you hurt anywhere?" He asked her, taking her hand in his and pulling her up to her feet.

When she stood up, she was just to about his chest, maybe standing at 5'4 or closer. From the force of the pull, she crashed onto his chest, Luna's arm instinctively wrapping around her waist. "Oh dear. I'm being a clutz today." He murmured, pulling himself away from the girl. She asked him a question about the lunchroom, just the place he needed to go. Luckily, he had asked the woman at the counter about the directions of the different room. "Yes.. I'm actually heading to the lunchroom as of now. Care to join me?" He asked her, trying to be polite. "Lunatio Grimaldo by the way, but please, don't hesitate to call me Luna." He added, smiling at the girl standing before him.

~Lyra~

"Hello there.. Lyra, was it? Sorry for that half-arsed compliment earlier. You really look great, you shouldn't worry about it."

Lyra looked up, once again meeting the reversed eyes of the boy known as Geno. She blinked at him for a moment, and then looked away, blush once again staining her cheeks. Her eyes darted back up to him for a moment, but she looked down right away. She smiled a bit, kneeling down to pick up some trash that was discarded to the ground.

"A compliment is a compliment." she smiled, straightening up and facing him fully. "Though...I thank you."

"Um, are you alright? Need help with anything?"

Damn, is my sleepiness that apparent to absolutely everyone?! Geez, and I call myself an actress?

"Oh, I'm perfectly fine." she grinned, feeling like that was the millionth time she reassured someone that she was okay. When she processed that he had offered her his help, she almost reflexively said, "Oh, no, I can handle it!"

She paused for a moment. She glanced at all of the tables, and then looked back down at the grass. After pondering it for a moment, she decided that maybe a little bit of help wouldn't be so bad.

"On the other hand, I could use some help making sure the students are taken care of." she said warmly. "Would you mind just keeping an eye out for people running low on snacks? And if you notice any trash on the ground, perhaps you could throw it away? That would be a big help!"

With that, she tossed the piece of garbage she had just picked up into the trash-bin (along with her pile of empty Mountain Dew cans).

"Thank you, Geno!"

As Mars was talking to some of the patrons and getting a reading on who was bidding and how much, Lyra suddenly thrust one of the tea pots into his arms. In fact, this one felt rather cold. Didn't he heat them up a few minutes ago?

"What is the meaning of this? No, don't even tell me. Fix it, okay?"

Confused, he opened the lid of the tea pot to see that all the liquid inside was frozen solid. "Wow, I'm impressed. I didn't think I could freeze something that fast." He couldn't help but exclaim his surprise and excitement at his achievement. This meant that he had the ability to freeze things at a distance locked down! It was only liquid, but it was still a solid improvement. He slowly heated the tea back up, thawing it out of its frozen state, and placed it back on the table that was missing a pot, which he assumed was the one that needed it. "Sorry for the inconvenience, if you need anything, please feel free to ask." And with that, Mars turned away and went back to checking up on tables, attending to any of the students who had questions, and inquiring about who was bidding on who.

Emma blushed at how strong and warm his hand was. But that quickly faded to avoid a 'blind' crush on her end. "I'm okay, dont worry. It was just a small fall on some tiles." she smiled softly before he wrapped an arm around her, which made her face heat up. But he had quickly pulled away which was perfect. Emma couldnt get any ideas now or anything. Crushes and lovers were just a bad thing in her book. Hopefully, this guy was just trying to be nice.

"Sure, and I'm Emma Faris. Just call me Emma." she smiled warmly and kindly "Thank you for leading me there, Luna...Since this place doesnt have a map I cant really tell where i'm going.." then she mentally punched herself because he would think she cant read because of her blindfold "I-I mean like, I take off my blindfold to read stuff! Its not like I have x-ray vision or anything..."

"If you say so.." She really didn't look like she was fine, but he wasn't going to object. It was up to her, after all. "Would you mind just keeping an eye out for people running low on snacks? And if you notice any trash on the ground, perhaps you could throw it away? That would be a big help!" He smiled. He could help out without doing something that would keep him from doing whatever he himself wanted to, and that was relieving. "Absolutely! No problem. Anything for the student body president, after all." He said, with a gratious bow.

He rubbed his chin for a few seconds. This thing was perfect for him though, he had been taught by his own butler on how to deal with things like this, and he was pretty classy, if he could say so himself. Nontheless, he would help out with this task, and started gliding through the crowds and tables, picking up trash and distributing the few snacks he could carry with him in seamless motions. It took him less than 3 minutes to clear up the first half of the tabled area, at which point he felt like he had actually helped out.

It was refreshing somehow, the feeling that you've made something happen. A small true smile showed up on his face, and he leaned against a wall. He'd keep this side of the area clean and supplied until the auction started. At least the other people only had the other half to worry about now, maybe they wouldn't work themselves to death.

Blake watched Lyra bounce away, the frills of her dress trailing by as she ran. She really didn’t know the definition of toning it down, for it seemed her endless energy that was of right now fueled by copious amounts of mountain dew knew no restraints.

That girl...

He didn't bother responding to the complaints of the ordering system, or Veronica's little breakdown. Honestly the order was just random and Veronica always had those weird meltdowns that only lasted a couple of seconds...just another day at Hawthorne. However he glowered when Shinji's cat randomly popped up and Calista started hugging it.

"Calista stop hugging the cat, you're going to mess up your dress and get cat hair all over it," Blake scolded.

Maria Scarlette

"I'm going first," Maria muttered to herself, a thousand-mile stare in her eyes. "Ay dios mio, this is a nightmare..." Maria let her head fall into her hands and started to tremble nervously - She had faced a lot in her time, yes, but the thought alone that she could ruin the auction if she didn't get any bids on her was worse than anything. "What if no one bids on me?"

I didn't think this through at all, did I?

Maria sat and hugged her knees - Her nervousness may as well have been written on her face. Calm down. It's just an auction - Someone's going to bid on you for sure. There has to be someone that's interested in you, right?

Maria sighed and stood up, shaking her head slowly as if she could shake the negativity out of her. "I can do this," Maria muttered. "This is nothing I can't handle."

Mirabelle Ami

"There's an auction or something today, isn't there?" Ami thought aloud - Her legs had been taking her someplace or another for a few hours now, and nothing looked familiar at all - But she swore she had been down this hallway at least seven times now.

Sadly, no crazy people had been awake when she was, and Ami had almost passed out on her walk a few times - She found herself downing a few dozen mugs of coffee to keep her eyes open. (Little did she know, others were suffering much worse than her.) No one seemed to be wandering through the halls like her - Though if there was anyone about, she was just tuning them out - An ability she prided herself on. She could tune out the world if she put effort into it.

Ami sat against a wall - The wrath of the truly tired was upon her, and it was just about time to sleep on the floor. I want to go back to the room, but it's just soooooo far, Ami complained, And Ami-Chan's so tired...

Her eyes fell shut and she began to sleep silently and peacefully. For how long, she wasn't sure... But someone would wake her up, right? Probably someone unpleasant, with her luck.

"Calista stop hugging the cat, you're going to mess up your dress and get cat hair all over it."

Turning to look up at Blake, Calista felt terrible that she was ruining the dress that Lyra especially picked for her, forgotten that she was even wearing one in the first place and held Kuro up to look down at her dress to see if anything bad happen to the dress. With a sigh of relief, it seemed that Calista's dress was fine, Kuro hissed at her for thinking he would do such a thing,"I-it's fine. H-here, c-can you watch Kuro f-for me Blake?" Calista asked, giving Kuro to Blake since she didn't want anything bad to happen to the dress and it seemed Blake was the only one she could trust to watch him, not knowing that there were other people that Kuro had already came across with before (-cough-GenoandSora-cough-)

Kuro glanced up at Blake, his eyes filled with dull hazel eyes. Kuro didn't dislike Blake but found amusement in him for making his master go head over heels for this guy. Shinji hid it well from others but when it came to Kuro, he could already tell what was blooming in between them,"These love birds." Kuro thought, mentally rolling his eyes and jumped into Blake's arm before he could even react or protest of any sort.

Shinji walked through the hallways, looking for the small girl but he couldn't find her anywhere, none of the girls having the type of hair she had. Sighing in frustration, Shinji took the chance to find Calista where he sent Kuro to go to since it seemed that he was taking quite a long time to find her. It couldn't be that hard to find Calista since she was mostly easy to spot in a crowd of people, you could tell by her bright color hair and the way she walks, it was pretty funny how she tried so hard to blend in the crowd.

Walking to the back of the school where he last saw Kuro, Shinji turned a corner and stopped, seeing the black cat and Calista in a pink frilly dress, a smirk appeared on his face,"Cali is wearing a dress and it's pink? This I have to take a picture of." Shinji snickered and glanced over at Kuro who wasn't in Calista's arm but was in Blake's arms,"Che... that sly cat." Shinji grumbled, glaring daggers at Kuro who already knew that his master was here.

Kuro had already sensed his master would come any time now and had some fun, making his master jealous that he was in Blake's arms, Kuro glancing at Shinji, his hazel eyes glint with mischievous motives and his mouth curled in a grin,"He really wants to piss me off at a time like this." Shinji thought and went up to the three, popping from behind Blake,"Hello Cali, looking cute today I see." Shinji comment, looking over at Blake,"So this was where you went Mr. Secretary?" Shinji asked the oblivious and then looked down at Kuro, his red eyes stared deep into Kuro's headlight yellow ones as if they were having a mental showdown.

Alain was walking down the hallways, enjoying the nice weather outside and sighed, feeling himself was at peace. It was a nice feeling, to be able to just relax and spend this time by himself. He didn't mind company but being alone was nice too, finally able to think straight without someone coming to disturb him. His mind wonder off, down to memory lane where old pasts that he never forgot came up, his face dull with a smile that held no feeling.

His past was a blur, he didn't remember much other than the fact that he lost his arms during something that occurred among his family. He didn't remember anything of it though. He only remember being in the hospital and his aunt and uncle standing at his bed side worried and crying in grief. His parents died along with his younger brother and his older sister. It was sad to hear but Alain held no feeling of depression over it since he had no memory of them.

The doctors said that there was no problem to his brain to forget and that it was maybe because of stress but other than that, Alain was fine but he was armless. His uncle however helped him get his arms back by giving him artificial ones as a replacement. His uncle was a brilliant inventor who worked in secret so all his inventions were kept secret from the world. He worked on machines mostly and made Alain his arms but put some adjustment to them. Instead of making normal arms, his uncle created his arms into weapons that he could use to protect himself from harm ever coming to him again.

The idea of it was great and Alain liked it very much, feeling like some superhero like Ironman or Green Lantern in a way, it made him feel powerful and strong but he was still human inside just not on his arms. Those times with his aunt and uncle were the best but those times didn't last long. Returning back to reality, Alain sighed and went into the cafeteria where he only grabbed a red juicy apple and bit into the fruit, munching in delight of it's rich flavor.

-Alain is lonely... I'm not sure where everyone is owo;-

LUNATIO GRIMALDO

Luna let out a low chuckle at the girl's demeanour. She was getting so flustered so easily, which was cute to Luna. "It would be pretty cool to have x-ray vision no?" He asked her, a smile forming on his lips. "For all I know, you could have x-ray vision and can see through my clothes at this moment." He added, earning a tomato red faced Emma. He let out a hearty laugh, one he hadn't done in a while. He petted her head gently, smiling at her. "I'm just kidding. Now, come. You must be famished no?" He asked her, grabbing a hold of her hand as they walked side by side to the lunchroom.

They reached the lunchroom in ten minutes and Luna held the door open. "After you, my dear." He told her, gesturing to get inside. As they entered, they walked up to the counter, an array of refreshments to choose from. "Would you like anything in particular? I would be ashamed of myself if I let a lady such as yourself pay for your food while I'm here. It would truly be a shame." He told her, looking at the food and back to Emma.

10:00 AM in the morning.

Johnathon's eyelids flitted open. He blinked a few times, then set his sight on the clock by his pillow. 10:01 AM it read. A low and long groan escaped his teeth, and he rolled over in bed and slammed the sheets above his head. "Too early," he muttered, unintelligible and his words slurred. His body felt overheated though, uncomfortable in the same clothes he had worn the previous day. They tickled his skin in the worst places. "Dammit," John cursed, rolling his eyes over and casting aside the sheets. Now awake, he couldn't stand such torment - torment that you were absolutely ignorant of when asleep. It caused him to heave a sigh, as one foot after the other, he fumbled his way out of bed and onto his sock-less feet.

Light was shining through the dorm window - bright and vibrant. Certainly a cheering sight for anyone in the morning, only for John, by the time he was fully up, awake, and out of bed, it was 10:20 AM. Still morning by some standards, but for Johnathon it was as good as the middle of the night. The sun was inconvenient. He could have slept a few more hours if it weren't peeping on him. "Sleep is for the week," he mumbled, still rubbing his eyes. "Or is it . . . oh, never mind." His hair was rattier than usual (the exclusive 'bed-head' version), and as he dully looked out the window, his shoulders slumped, he appeared a mess. "I need a shower."

It took a few minutes, but after that period of time, John had successfully changed out of his dirty clothes and made his bed. A complimentary cigarette was neatly placed between his teeth as well. "Chou," he said, as he absently waved to his sleeping roommates before entering into the shower. The water started out cold, much to his annoyance, but as he stood there and it slowly began to warm, he was overcome with a peaceful sensation. His body relaxed, he sighed softly. Warm fluids continued to rain down on his skin, each drop soothing, until--

11:00 AM!!

Johnathon's alarm began beeping loudly, beginning the Hue and Cry with great vigor. With a nasally snort, his eyes shot open once more. "One more moment," he began to say, whining like a little kid, before realizing that hot water was pouring over his soaking hair. He glanced up in surprise to see the shower faucet spraying him, and his unclothed body bathing in a corner of the shower. His gaze shifted to his own body, then back to the faucet, as he blinked several times for the situation to register. Crap! he thought, his eyes wide with anxiety. I fell asleep in the shower?!

The world's quickest shower taken, the alarm turned off, Johnathon was dressed in nearly an instant. He rushed out of the dorm, still tying his tie, and offered a brief apology for taking so long in the case his roommates had been wanting the shower. Naturally, he hadn't even taken note if they were awake, but mentally he needed assurance they wouldn't come after him later with clubs for hogging all the warm water.

"Wait . . . what am I rushing for?" he asked suddenly, stopping dead in his tracks in the middle of an abandoned hallway. That was strange. His rush and hurry had been for nothing apparent when he gladly would have slept in until Judgement Day. He bit his lip in some frustration before meandering over to the nearest window, taking a peek outside. The sun was still just as brilliant as it had been . . . an hour ago. "Well, no helping it," he sighed, plucking his soggy cigarette from between his teeth to exhale. With that exhale came memories of the past - the fragments of his last night's dreams. What was he doing going to Hawthorne, he had to wonder. Was there anything in it all for him? Friends, new skills, a better (more reliable) job? Truthfully, much of his reason for attending was thanks to his younger sister, for without her, he wouldn't have been pushed to attend; he'd still be where he had been. Where I had been . . .

Hands in pockets, he proceeded down the hall. It was figures breakfast would be the first stop; it always was. Breakfast at 11 AM, after all, was nothing unusual for this kid. His meals, if not skipped, were always later than the norm. It defined much of Johnathon's character, actually.

There was some shouting behind him, to which he turned and regarded a small crowd of students.

"Hurry, or you'll miss the Charity Date Auction!" one of them yelled - a first year student by the looks of it. The others were giggling - all guys - and following him with great haste and enthusiasm.

Johnathon was ready to pass it off as nothing, but the word 'date' had set something off in his head. It had to be described vaguely, for John himself wasn't able to discern it. Why was it that he'd be interested in the premise of a 'Charity Date Auction'? He thought it sounded absurd, yet the intrigue was still there. Still, did I hear right? For a while his gaze lingered on where the boys had been, and for a while he contemplated following them.

At last he did, in total despite of himself ("And my dignity," he thought sadly).

Ryuu, a morning kind of guy, was up bright 'n early, singing "A Spoonful of Sugar" to the robins outside of his apartment window. Their heads occasionally bobbed in time to the song, but otherwise they remained completely uninterested. Clearly the Hawthorne janitor was stuck in his own world.

This day was going to be an easy day. Being the weekend, students spent more time off campus or in their dorms than walking through the halls. Cleaning certainly became far easier to handle then, for Ryuu didn't clean the students' rooms. He had other reasons for being so happy this morning though. His time spent with Elsa last night was still fresh and delightful in his mind, and repeatedly he found himself sighing while cooking breakfast.

Presently, his phone beeped.

To: Ryuu <3

Subject: Movinnnnng
:D

Hey! What day works for me to bring all of my crap over?

The words 'bring' and 'over' struck Ryuu as odd for a moment or so. He had stopped what he had been doing, and stared timidly at his phone. "Wait . . . lemme get this straight," he began out-loud, "she's moving in HERE?!" The robins at his window fluttered off in a hurry, leaving the air with a still silence. Ryuu was looking helplessly around the room. In one corner was a bunch of old VHS tapes. Another had piles of clothing, trash, and other odds and ends the janitor had ironically failed to clean up. And still yet, on his walls hung movie posters. On one wall in particular, there was an enlarged photo of a picture taken of the Mona Lisa. Pick or choose, Ryuu certainly didn't want Elsa to see any of these. She had been over to his apartment once or twice before, but he had taken great care to hide these artifacts of his life. Now what choice did he have?

He began to type rapidly on his phone, using only his thumb.

To: Elsa darling~

Subject: RE:Movinnnnng
:D

Um . . . wouldn't it be better if we got a new apartment together?

With a furrowed brow, he again glanced helplessly around the room. Perhaps that's a little too un-cheerful . . . he thought, skimming over the brief few words again.

He added at the end:

K. Good morning. How are ya? <3

Scampering outside onto the school grounds, a shocking sight greeted the bewildered eyes of Johnathon Szczyz. The Charity Date Auction certainly was not what he had expected! People were everywhere, food was being served, and a bounty of girls were mounting a stage. All of them were dressed in extremely cutesy Lolita style dresses. Still a guy at heart, Johnathon gaped. "So these are the 'dates', huh," he said, as a few other guys brushed past him to sit at some of the many tables.

Actually, before John knew it, he was scouring the girls to see if he recognized any of them. A few had somewhat familiar faces (he thought he saw the vice president of the Student Body), but none which he could affirmatively place. He was surprised to see Geno though, dashing around and waiting tables. A smirk played at his lips seeing this, but he was still just as confused. It was only now though that the word 'auction' made its registration in his head. Auction, so . . . for instance, bidding? he thought to himself, nodding in confirmation to the explanation that popped into his head. In the past, he had been at an auction or two. They were strange affairs headed by overly energetic people who loved confusing the audience out of their minds and encouraging them to bid more. Certainly this sort of thing wouldn't take place on a school campus? But then again, he continued to think, this is Hawthorne . . . and Lyrai is the president of the Student Body. It hadn't taken him long to guess she and the other members of the Student Body were behind the event.

He was running a hand through his hair at this point, biting down on his lip, when something white and pure caught his eye. For a split second the sun had shown perfectly on a beautifully decorated white dress - a girl's dress - and the light shed from its glow shot Johnathon in the face. His eyes followed the movement of the dress now, as the light slowly faded from it. And when it did, whose face should appear but . . .

"L-L-L-Lyra . . . ?" Dread surprise covered Johnathon's face. His eyes focused on nothing else than her, and as he did all awareness of the world around him dropped. "Lyra," he mouthed. It was a few seconds before he tore away his gaze He wasn't planning on doing anything drastic, already he was feeling mildly embarrassed for staring, but he sure felt his stomach sink when he saw her. So, she's into that sort of thing, he thought gloomily, absentmindedly taking a seat at an empty table. He scolded himself for not suspecting it of Lyra's character, but he couldn't suppress the feeling of attachment to her, like he didn't want anyone to bid on her or take her for their own. It's all a selfish "charity" game, he told himself, now time and time again. Really though, did it have any effect, rather than just make him more agitated? Without realizing it, he had completely frozen the tea at his table.

Emma's face got even more red when he added to the fire. This was not going to be easy.... "...Yeah..I guess?" she said following him What if this guy is really sexy? Oh gosh Emma what are you thinking?! I wont think like this..I cant even think like this.. "Thanks again, Luna." she walked into the room and heard the hums of people talking. It was nice being on time. As they got to the counter, she spoke "Well...what is there?" she asked before he said that he'd pay..well..he didnt exactly say that but she knew what he ment "Oh, Nono! You Dont have to pay for me, Luna"

LUNATIO GRIMALDO

"Oh, Nono! You Dont have to pay for me, Luna" Emma had told him. He turned to look at Emma once more, a frown apparent on his face. "Now Emma, you're breaking my heart." He told her, placing her hand on his chest, right above where his heart was. "I jest, it would be unkind of me to pay for you. I insist." He added, her hand still on his chest. Without waiting for Emma to reply, he turned back to the food and got some white lasagna and an ice tea.

He took a tray and placed his food onto it, still holding onto Emma's hand. He looked back to her, who was still somewhat blushing. "Go ahead and choose whatever you want. You must be famished by my constant ranting." He told her, looking at the petite woman in front of him.

As soon as John was within the tabled area Geno noticed him. Geno was many negative things, but imperceptive wasn't one of those qualities. Talking about imperceptive, a blind man could see his interest in Lyra. He quickly slid through the crowd, and pulled out a chair to take a seat.

"Good morning, sir." He said formally. He shook his head when he realized he had gotten to deeply into his role. He had literally just been copying what his butler usually said to him. Man, he kinda missed that guy. "Excuse the formalities. How are you doing?"

He felt unusually comfortable in John's presence. He hadn't had a lot of friends before, but he was pretty sure that this was the appropriate feeling one should get in the vicinity of one. "I won't have a lot of time to chat. I'm taking care of this side of the area, you know, making sure it's nice and tidy. Stuff like that." He sent a glance over Lyra's way. "I hope you're planning on betting. It's for a good cause you know." He added with a smile.

Nichole laid in the htasd thinking. She had her friends by her side. "I wonder where everyone is...its lonely here in the garden." She said to herself. Nichole sighed and looked at the sky. "The clouds look like animals. Do they not?" Said angel. Nichole nodded and said"yea i see a dolphin. What do you see jesse? " Jesse said"I see a horse. You Angel? " "I see a cat. "Said angel. Nichole nodded and started to think. She was talking to stuffed animals. She must've lost it.

Kouji hummed putting more detail and put a few cute ruffles on the bottom and the chest part. He adjusted the straps smiling."Now just to fix this one flower. And it'll be finished. " he said going to the fabrics and got his needle and thread then stitched the flower in and fluffed it up a bit. " this is beautiful. If only I had someone to wear it." He said smiling softly.

Emma couldnt stop blushing with this man around. She felt his heartbeat "...O-Ookay..." she said, using her other hand to peek from her blindfold and she got some of her breakfast before letting her blindfold go and she looked towards Luna "..Alright, i'm done." she smiled softly and moved her hand a bit that had been held to his chest. He definately felt strong, though, she tried not to make it seem weird. "You are very kind, Luna. I appriciate it." it was true, even though she kept her distance

LUNATIO GRIMALDO

She finally got something for herself and looked to Luna. "You are very kind, Luna. I appreciate it." She told him, a smile on her face added to her faint blush. He smiled back and placed the plate on his tray. "You're welcome, Emma." He told her, taking his wallet out from his back pocket and paid the lady standing behind the counter. Placing his wallet back in his pocket, he took the tray in one hand, the other still holding Emma's. He didn't mind, her hand felt small and fragile in his big and rough hand. It felt right, he just hoped that Emma didn't mind, or else he'd been rude from the start.

He turned to face the crowd and Luna craned his neck, looking for a table for them to sit on. He finally found one near the window and proceeded to walk towards it, Emma at tow. He didn't notice the constant stares and whispers that were being said as they walked by the other students. Reaching the table, he set the tray down and took a seat out for Emma. "Ladies first." He told her, smile on his face. He was a gentleman, and every girl watching them noticed that.

Emma was freaking out inside because he was holding her hand. But she didnt want to be rude and pull her hand away, making him feel bad..So she just let him as he lead her to a table and sat down "Thanks." she said, letting his hand go "Hey, Uh...Luna...? Why were you holding my hand?" and thats when she mentally kicked herself and she sighed "Sorry...I just wanted to know is all." keeping her distance was only getting harder for her, she couldnt. And she Wouldnt.

Quietly, she began eating, too afraid to say anything else. No wonder she avoided boys.

LUNATIO GRIMALDO

As Emma sat down, she let go of Luna's hand, which he did as well. Sitting down, Emma had asked Luna a question. "Hey, Uh...Luna...? Why were you holding my hand?" He looked to Emma, who looked like she was having a fight with herself. "Holding your hand..? Hmmm.." He repeated Emma's question, pondering as to whether to tell her the truth or not. "Well, for one, it felt nice." He said with a smile. "And.. well.. You looked so cute blushing and the way you were flustered added to that. I guess I couldn't resist." He added, an obvious blush formed on Emma's face. 'And also because it felt right..' He thought to himself, telling himself not to say that out loud as he felt it was already crossing the line.

He took the plate with Emma's food and placed it in front of her, and placed his food in front of himself, his ice tea beside the plate. Pushing the tray to the far end of the table, he looked back to Emma, who seemed more flustered than she did awhile ago. "Are you ok Emma? You look like something's bothering you." He told her, staring at her while she was eating. He took his fork and began eating as well, seeing as his partner was eating already.

Oh boy, Emma had gotten herself into something big..Something she promised herself she never would do. "O-Oh.." a blush got worse on her face and she made sure to keep...face contact away from him (Insted of eye contact). "I-I'm okay, no worries. I just never really...hang out with guys for multiple reasons..since I have a bad past with boys.." they would literally use her just to see her eyes. Of course, she didnt allow kissing or anything but holding hands.

~Lyra~

"More tea? Alright, just a moment!"

"Oh, you're out of sugar? I'll just be a second!"

"We have milk and cream! Which do you want?"

"Oh, I'm sorry, we're all out of crumpets...please forgive me!"

It seemed like Lyra was saying those same four sentences over and over again, yet every time the words escaped her lips, she was as cheerful as ever. It was almost amusing to watch the girl going back and forth between tables, often making trips to get more cream or snacks. She never missed a beat, and her smile never faded. Though she was getting slightly annoyed that a few tables were calling on her simply to sweet talk her, which she simply didn't have time for. She tried to be polite, but sometimes she just had to walk away. Or try to, at least.

She was about to make refill a table's sugar bowl when she felt a hand wrap around her wrist. She was lightly pulled, shocking her enough so a light gasp escaped from her. Some of the sugar cubes dropped onto the floor, and she squeaked, "Hey!"

She wasn't really shocked to see a table of guys (who weren't very attractive, mind you.) Lyra blinked at them, trying to pull her wrist away, and stuttered, "Uh, can I help you?"

"Hey, girl, are you from Nashville? 'Cause you're a ten!"

"Dude, you said it wrong. You're supposed to say, 'you're the only ten I see'."

"Why? That's stupid."

"It's a pun! Ten I see...Tennessee..Nashville is in Tennessee?"

"I don't get it."

"Oh, I get it, haha..." Lyra said as enthusiastically as she could. "N-now, I really need to get back to--"

"Aw, what? But I wanna talk to you!"

The boy's grip tightened around Lyra wrist, and Lyra clenched her teeth. He probably didn't realize how tightly he was holding her, but it was really actually hurting the girl. She was quite fragile, and this guy was anything but small.

"Please let me go now." she squeaked, tugging slightly. The boy's face fell as he realized she was serious, and he let go, causing Lyra to stumble back, the rest of her sugar cubes spilling to the ground. He apologized, but didn't bother help her pick up the cubes. He simple went back to talking with his friends.

Lyra stared at at the sugar that was now scattered in the grass beneath her, and she slowly knelt down, picking every single one up. She apologized to the table she was originally bringing the sugar to, and when the go replace it. Her wrist was red, and she knew that there would probably be abruise there later, but she didn't have time to address it.

Lyra placed the plates that she had gathered on the way to the little work station she had created for herself, and placed them on the table, and leaned on it for a moment. She quickly refilled the sugar bowl with more cubes, and was about to go back out to the tables. She bent over slightly, placing a hand on her knee as if to catch her breath...could this be buzz crash number six? She quickly and quietly opened up yet another Mountain Dew, sucked it down, and then walked back out to the tables.

She quickly set down the sugar, thankful that her soda had started kicking in fairly quickly. As she was collecting a few more plates, a familiar figure caught the corner of her eye. She looked up, and her heart, she swore, skipped a beat when she saw Johnathon looking at her. She quickly turned her head away as he did, so he probably didn't notice her noticing him...but why was he staring at her like that? She felt her cheeks burning, looking down at her dress.

I probably look ridiculous.

She lightly kicked at the grass, pondering whether or not she should talk to him. After all, she hadn't seen him since the kissing incident...

Should she approach him? Well, maybe he needed something! Yeah, she was just doing her job, right?

"Hi, Johnathon!" she smiled, finally working up the nerve to approach his table. Locking her hands firmly together behind her back to prevent any of her nervous mannerisms, she continued, "Y-you look nice today! It's g-good to see you!"

Did I just stutter?!

"I see that Geno is t-taking care of you..." she said, her voice cracking slightly as she noticed the boy. "The auction's going to start s-soon, okay?"

I JUST DID IT AGAIN!

~Nurse Elsa Longstorm~

Elsa tapped her perfectly polished fingernails on her chin as she leaned forward on her desk as she read her magazine. There was nothing for her to do, yet she had to stay in the infirmary. Everything was as clean as she was going to get it, everything in her desk was perfectly organized...

She sighed, and was way to quick to grabbing her phone when it buzzed.

To: Elsa darling~

Um . . . wouldn't it be better if we got a new apartment together?

K. Good morning. How are ya? <3

Elsa raised an eyebrow at the first line of text. She took a moment to think of a response.

To: Ryuu <3

Subject: RE:RE:Movinnnnng :D

How would it be better? If we got a new apartment, we'd both have to go through the paperwork with Miss Weatherstone to be allowed to move out of our apartments, and then go through even more to get a new one. If I just move in with you, I'll be the only one who has to do any paperwork...

Elsa thought for a second as she looked over the text. It seemed so...serious. Especially for her.

Or you could just move in with me <3 OH, and btw, I think the infirmary needs cleaning, Mr Janitor ;D

Message Sent

She nodded, and shoved her phone back into the pocket of her coat. Hopefully, Ryuu would be able to make a beeline for the infirmary...it was Saturday, after all. It wasn't like there would be much work for them anyway. Besides, maybe the two would be able to go to town! Elsa smiled at the thought, and then continued flipping through the magazine in front of her.

It was beautiful. Veronica's plan was coming to fruition, especially with the help of the other student council members. She hoped that maybe after the bidding, she might be able to enjoy it a little more by herself or with her friends. She pulled out her thermos and set it on the table, poring herself a drink in the small teacup. She then took a drink. As she did, everything went quiet. All Veronica was feeling was nostalgia. It helped bring her spirits up a lot. All she could feel was power and the sweet taste of blood. It was beautiful.

"Aw, what? But I wanna talk to you!"

Veronica saw the boys with Lyra and then saw them grab her hand. With the predator already in her, she started to stand up and attack. But she couldn't make a scene. Eventually, he let her go and then Veronica looked at the boys with glaring eyes. All they did was whisper. But with her vampiric hearing, she certainly heard.

"Awh crap that's Veronica. Let's get out of here, man."

Veronica smiled. It was many times that she was intimidating, but when she was it was nice. Lyra then drank another can of mountain dew. She must have been up all night. Those things were usually unhealthy for mortals. Sure it would keep her up, but she'd eventually crash. Eventually Johnathan came over and talked to her. Veronica sort of cursed under her breath.

Event though she trusted Johnathan a bit, he still had affections for Lyra. But so did those other boss. Veronica wanted to make sure Lyra was safe, so she placed herself at a nearby table to Lyra. Close enough. She then shot Johnathan a glare, to make sure he knew she was there. Then using the " I'm watching you" gesture."

LUNATIO GRIMALDO

"I have a bad past with boys.." she says, putting her fork down and looking away. When Luna heard that, he was completely disgusted. What a boy would do just to get a girl was something Luna nor Sol approved of. Unbeknownst to him, he tightened his grip around his fork, ultimately crushing it in his hand. "Shit.." He muttered to himself, low enough so Emma wouldn't hear him. "Well, just know that if I'm around, no boy would dare harm you anytime soon." He told her, trying to lighten up Emma's dark mood while placing his hand on top of Emma's.

They continued eating in silence, but it was a comfortable silence, with bits of chatter and laughter mixed in. Luna hadn't felt this comfortable in a while now, it felt good to be able to relax. Sipping the last of his ice tea, he looked over to Emma, a thought running through his head. 'Why is she wearing a blindfold...? Surely someone as beautiful as her would not be ashamed of her appearance.." He thought to himself, not wanting to pry into her private life. If she didn't want to tell him, it was fine.

As he finished his ice tea, he let out a satisfied sigh. "Delicious. Now, do you want to go anywhere Emma? I could accompany you while walking around school." He told her, a smile on his face. It felt great being with Emma, and he was going to cherish it for as long as he could. Who knows, he might not get a chance to be with her like this again.

He certainly hoped not.

(*Squeal*)

Emma was waiting for him to say something. He did, however, mutter something too low for her to understand. What he had said, actually put her off guard because no one ever said that to her. It made her heart leap a bit. This boy really had something special inside him. Something Emma never really heard before. Soon enough, the mood started to lighten up as they ate and talk here and there. His hand was warm on hers, and honestly, her heart didnt want this to end. But it had to.

'Now, do you want to go anywhere Emma? I could accompany you while walking around school.' He really was a nice boy. But Emma knew better then to let her guard down. Who knew if this boy was actually faking to be this way? Who knew if he was actually nice and nothing like the others? "I really dont want to go anywhere but outside..." at home, she always sat outside, listening to everything around her. Birds, ruffles of the trees when the wind would blow. It relaxed her.

LUNATIO GRIMALDO

She likes the outdoors aswell huh? We have something in common then. He thought to himself, a smile forming on his lips. "Outside it is then." He told her, smiling her way. He stood up and walked to her side, holding his hand out, to which she accepted, a blush apparent on her face. As they walked out, Emma's hand in his, Luna looked out to see Sol outside with Sora. The view of the tea party was visible where he stood.

Stopping, he held Emma's hand and walked over to the window. He looked to Emma, who was obviously confused at the moment. "Look out there, that's my twin brother Solaira and my sister Soraphine." He said, looking back outside and pointing at the two from the window. "I hope you don't get confused when you see Sol but think it is me. That'd be breaking my heart in a second." He added, looking over to Emma, who was still blushing. 'Shit, she looks so cute like this..'
