~Nurse Elsa Longstorm~

Elsa found herself shutting her eyes and just walking aimlessly, trusting in Ryuu completely to lead her wherever he wanted. She was tired, yes, it had been a long day...but she was going to spend every moment she could with her sweetheart. She opened her eyes, looking up at the sky again. Even more stars were out, enough to where she could make out a few constellations. These were the moments when she'd let go of her usual haughty, flirty self and just...live. She didn't have to think or worry about anyone or anything.

Suddenly, the two stopped, and Elsa found herself facing Ryuu. She stared up at him, feeling herself blush as she did. She could make out his features perfectly in the moonlight, and couldn't help but smile. He really was the most wonderful thing that had ever happened to her...and as corny as that sounded, it was true. Not once in her life had someone cared for her as much as Ryuu did...and she wished that she could express how grateful she was for him in words, but somehow, she just couldn't.

Suddenly, she felt an arm wrap around her waist as her chin was tilted up by Ryuu's soft hand...she closed her eyes, and silently mouthed out the word
'watermelon'. Apparently, mouthing the word right before a kiss was SUPPOSED to give you the--

Collision.

Elsa's thoughts melted away as his mouth touched hers in a soft, yet passionate kiss. Her arms reflexively reached around his neck as the two stood there, and she could swear that she felt the tingling of sparks dancing across her lips as they kissed. It was always like, this...Elsa loved it when Ryuu kissed her, and always found herself blushing like a schoolgirl when he did. Of course, she hated how embarrassed she got...she was supposed to be the seductive nurse, not the giddy little girl...yet somehow, whenever she was around Ryuu...something just changed about her.

After what seemed like forever, the kiss was broken.

"If there was just one out of the thousands of reasons to be with you, Elsa, that would be it."

Elsa gave a light laugh and rested her head on his chest. He also had a way with words, which wouldn't be bad if it didn't mean turning her legs into Jell-O every time he said something sweet (which was all the time). She thought for a moment, and then bit her lip.

"Hey, Ryuu? I've been thinking..." she said quietly, not looking up at him. "...and please tell me if you hate the idea...but..."

She took a deep breath, and then looked up. She had been meaning to ask him this question ever since last year, but due to all of the injuries in the infirmary, she never had the time and couldn't find the right moment.

Last year was a bad year...

"I...I already talked to Headmistress Weatherstone, too...but..."

SPIT IT OUT, DINGUS!

"How would you feel about sharing an apartment?" she asked quietly. Finally, she looked up and quickly said, "J-just so we can spend more time together! A-and if it's a stupid idea, please just tell me, I can handle it."

No I can't. Just humor me. Say yes.

The tingling sensation that rippled throughout Ryuu's body only grew with Elsa's head resting on his chest. He sighed, allowing the warmth of the girl's body to fill him up, and tilted his head star side. Mere words could not express how he felt now. The nighttime sky, the atmosphere, and Elsa . . . he felt guilty that such a perfect moment could exist, and for a guy like him too, the least of his peers. And, reflecting on his life, the ups and downs of it, tears and joy, Ryuu could say he had lived one hell of a good life. Now it all came together in Elsa, who was the complete and utter joy of everything he held close to his heart. His jobs as janitor and skirmisher for Hawthorne weren't horrid, but what really boosted him throughout his day was the thought of Elsa. If he could picture her face, and imagine when next they'd spend time together, he'd find his work a breeze.

Thinking of all these things, it was only natural that Ryuu lost himself. Elsa's soft, and sweet voice pierced his ears and brought him back to the present. He let out another sigh, then smiled warmly down at the nurse's head as he wrapped her into a cozy hug. Snug as a bug, he thought, cradling Elsa, rocking ever so slightly back and forth.

"Hey, Ryuu? I've been thinking..."

Ryuu closed his eyes and allowed her voice to carry him away. "Yes?" he responded, his voice nothing more than a whisper.

"...and please tell me if you hate the idea... but..."

That's peculiar, he thought, opening his eyes and regarding Elsa's red head, still snugly pressed against his chest. He was warm now, even despite the chill night air, like he were under a warm blanket. The tingling sensation remained as well, pleasant as always to the janitor.

"I...I already talked to Headmistress Weatherstone, too...but..."

Ryuu could not stand Weatherstone. Her presence gave him a constant fright, and whenever she addressed him, it always seemed harsh. Really, their two personalities just didn't mix well, though any hard feelings shed between them was probably Ryuu's fault. But at the mere mention of her name, Ryuu's curiosity couldn't be held in much longer, even if a small sense of dread had entered his mind. Is there something wrong that she has waited until now to tell me? Elsa, say it already!

"How would you feel about sharing an apartment?"

Suddenly, Ryuu loosened his hold on Elsa, pushed her within arm's reach. His eyes searched her face - wide, and completely unprepared. What was this all of a sudden? Living together? His lower lip began to stutter, trying to say something, but unable. Yet, behind that tingling sensation he got, Ryuu had to be honest with himself. An apartment with Elsa, it was beyond what he could ever dream of. The quivering of his lip stopped and broke into a small smile.

There was a brief moment of indecision. Do I hug her? he thought subconsciously. Thank her? Simply say yes? But all at once, he was completely overcome with happiness. "Elsa!!" he cried, throwing himself upon the nurse in sheer despite of any rational reaction. He wasn't going to be rational, he was going to show his happiness. "Ryuu Luigi scores again! Yaho-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o!"

Laughing, jumping, hugging her tight, Ryuu had to calm himself. "Elsa," he said again, but quieter now, and more profoundly, "what can I say? Yes! Yes, yes!" His happiness stretched from ear to ear in a broad smile. How good this night was! There were many technicalities to living in an apartment together, true, but Ryuu didn't care to dwell on those now. Already he was busily thinking of every morning, waking up to Elsa's soft voice, making a cup of coffee, eating pancakes and frozen waffles together, then heading out to Hawthorne hand-in-hand. Sparkles sprang to life from his eyes, showering the spot where he and Elsa stood.

All together he stopped though, as a simple, but worrying thought dawned on him. "Hey, um . . . " His gaze shifted to the ground. "Would you really be okay living with me though? I-I mean . . . I can be a bit much." He chuckled, but more to reimburse his point than to be merry.

"Wha-- huh?"

The statement amused Geno. It made him feel like he really had snuck up on him, which he enjoyed. However, him looking him directly in the eyes quickly smothered that feeling and he had to divert his eyes. People here seemed way more accepting, but he still wasn't over the insecurity.

"Fine,
"Yes, I've been thinking of Lyra, but no I have-- God!"

Geno grinned, he obviously didn't want to talk about it, but he was into Lyra. Yupp. Really into Lyra. "Alright man, whatever floats your boat honestly, but please don't make religion cloud your judgement."

"Geno, look. I'm not going to stand for sexual harassment in a music room."

He was about to open his mouth when he got cut of by another "In a music room." He waited for a few seconds, then responded "I see your point, and I don't trust that girl, but you know, it COULD'VE been an accident..."

"What's more, Lyra is a friend, but not in the way you think. Now, that's that."

Geno fell behind when John quickened his pace, but he didn't mind, it only gave him a moment to himself to grin even larger and looking quite silly, without anyone seeing. He added, hopefully quietly enough that John wouldn't hear "Oh, we'll see about that, won't we.."

When he calmed down, he caught up to John. "You sound like you're german or russian, and I'm not quite sure which if you are." He turned his head and looked straight at him. "And you look classy. It almost feels like you've got a rich background, but I've got a feeling you don't, since you settled for that piece of crap piano back then." Honestly, Geno had been really disappointed in the music hall altogether. Not because anything was necessarily bad, but Geno was used to the most expensive of the most expensive instruments. Wonder if he could somehow innocently add some funds to the school for better musical equipment. Hm, he'd have to see someone about that.

As Sora was walking around the gym, she noticed the snack table and immediately walked over to it. She was hungry, give a girl a break. All sorts of sweets and snacks were available, add in a couple of drinks and it was perfect.

"Now.. What to choose..?" She murmured to herself. She looked down at Kuro who was still in her arms. "Anything you want little kitty?" She cooed down to him, scratching his chin in the process. She looked over the array of refreshments on the table. "Nothing here exactly feline friendly.." She said, disappointed she couldn't feed Kuro. "Well, I can't exactly starve myself either." She said to herself, grabbing a plate in one hand and holding Kuro in the other... Eventually bumping into someone behind her.

Nichole said to herself giggling. She then walked into someone. "Oof! Sorry about that. I was lost in thought." She said blushing embarassed. She straightened her dress and looked up. "You look familiar. Have we met befurr?" Nichole said tilting her head. Her curly hair bounced as she did that and her hazel eyes eyed the teen. 'Maybe I can have someone whos like karkitty! Giggle I need to stop watching homestruck comics. But they are too purrrfect!' Nichole thought giggling. ([URL="https://www.rpnation.com/profile/2189-akihito/ said:

Aleksander was heading toward the dorms, he was distracted which wasn't like him. As he took another step toward the dorm someone bumped right into him. He looked down to see a girl, another student he had seen somewhere in one of his classes. Or perhaps she was roaming the halls when he saw her.

"I'm sorry. Are you alright?" Aleks asked, concerned but put on a big smile.

~Nurse Elsa Longstorm~

Elsa gasped when Ryuu's arms were suddenly thrown around her, she she cringed at how loudly he was answering her.

"Elsa!! Ryuu Luigi scores again! Yaho-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o!"

The nurse couldn't help but smile...hey, at least it was a yes, right? Usually, when he was loud and obnoxious like this, she'd whack him upside the head with whatever she was holding...

Eh, she'd let him be happy.

"Calm down, Ryuu, geez, you're acting like you just won the lottery!" she laughed, unable to free him arms to hug him back. Finally he loosened his arms, and she was able to look up at him. His eyes were sparkling, his mouth was stretched in a huge grin...well, at least it wasn't a no, right?

"Hey, um. . ."

Elsa tilted her head, her stomach dropping slightly

Oh no. He thought of a reason why we can't live together...he just decided it's a horrible idea...oh NO. He just realized that I'd be a MONSTER to live with!!! NO, RYUU, I CAN BE--

"Would you really be okay living with me though? I-I mean . . . I can be a bit much."

That's it?

Elsa smiled, wrapped her arms around his neck once again, and pulled him down slightly whilst stranding on her tiptoes. Once again, she gently kissed the lobe of his ear before whispering, "I know. So can I."

She pulled back and grinned up at him, moving her arms from his neck to around his waist, and she once again placed her head on his chest.

"Thank you for saying yes." she smiled, tightening her arms around him. "...well, if you said no, I'd kick your ass."

She was actually going to be living with Ryuu...in the same apartment! They'd have meals together, share eachothers messes...it was going to be great. Elsa realized that this would be the first time that she was going to be living with anyone since she came to Hawthorne when she was fourteen. Even when she was a student, she didn't have a roommate...of course, between fourteen and eighteen weren't exactly years that she WANTED anybody to see her. She was just thankful that she met Ryuu not long after she graduated. She saw him around campus a lot when they were students, but he probably didn't know she was even alive.

Heck, nobody knew if she was alive.

That's when Elsa realized that she was crying. Her muscles tightened and her shoulders quivered with every sniffle, though she tried to be fairly quiet. Tears streamed down her cheeks, Elsa found herself gripping Ryuu's shirt. She couldn't say anything, or she's lose it.

Stop crying! WHAT. ARE. YOU. DOING?! Stop it. Right now. You're not going to stop? Fine. Do whatever you want.

~Lyra/Headmistress Weatherstone/Professor Crysta Chime/Professor Xavier Caige~

Lyra walked back to the "tea-party in progress" and sat in one of the chairs. She stared at what she had to work with, and sighed. She unzipped her bag and pulled out a notebook and pencil and started to make a list.

What I Have

-A stage

-Tables

-Chairs

-Giant Tent

Lyra sighed, only just realizing that she didn't have much to work with...and she had so much to do in order to pull this off. She didn't so much worry about the work, it was already apparent she would have to pull an all-nighter to get it all done. Lyra could easily get Miss Weatherstone to allow the President to stay up passed curfew. Lyra absently sucked on the end of her pencil as she thought of everything she needed to do by morning. After a moment of thinking, she began writing.

What I Need to Do

-Something to make the stage look pretty (Giovia might have something?)

-Steps for the stage (storage room?)

-Decorations! (storage room)

-Tablecloths (white and lacy, preferably)

-Tea-sets (Crysta!)

-Tea (CRYSTA!!!)

-Podium and microphone (ask Headmistress Weatherstone to borrow)

-Music (borrow a CD player from the music room)

-Snacks (crumpets, little sandwiches...order from town?)

-Outfits for the Girls Being Auctioned Off (storage room/my personal collection!)

Lyra stared at her completely list for a moment before she stood up. The first thing she would do would be going to Headmistress Weatherstone to get approval for the entire thing, ask to borrow a podium and microphone from the Main Hall, get permission to stay up passed curfew, and see if she would volunteer to be auctioned off. Lyra set off for the woman's office.

It didn't take too long to get there, though she frowned slightly as she passed the gymnasium...the booming music, the smell of delicious food...all an event that she had organized, and she wasn't even able to attend.

Geez, how was she going to make it the next day if someone actually bid on her?

Lyra knocked on Kinya's door and said, "Miss Weatherstone! It's Lyra!"

Kinya looked up, immediately snapping her book closed. She had to hide it, she had to hide it...

SHE HAD TO HIDE IT.

Panicking, the Headmistress shoved the romance novella into her desk and choked out,
"Oh, c-come in, Lyra!"

The President entered the office, list in hand, and smiled, "Good evening, Miss Weatherstone."

"Good evening, Lyra. What can I do for you?" the woman asked, standing up and gesturing at a chair. Lyra sat down and said, "I just have a few questions I need to ask you."

"Alright." Kinya sat, leaning on her desk.

Lyra took a deep breath, and began.

"I was wondering if you would approve the student tea-party that I am setting up. We just had the idea today, and I want it to happen tomorrow! I know it's a bit of a stretch, but I'm willing to stay up all night to get it done, which leads me to my next question. May I stay up all night to get it done? I promise I won't be a huge disturbance...and also, can I borrow the podium and microphone from the Main Hall? We're also going to be auctioning of girls to go on charity dates to benefit the Student Council's fund...also, would you like to volunteer to be auctioned off?"

Kinya blinked at Lyra, and titled her head slightly.

Sheesh, that girl can TALK.

Headmistress Weatherstone went over everything Lyra had said in her head a few times before she replied with,
"Sure, I'll approve it...it seems a little last minute, though. I'll let you stay up if you can get a Professor to watch you. You can borrow the podium and microphone, they aren't that heavy so--WHAT WAS THAT?!"

Kinya had only just processed Lyra asking if the Headmistress wanted to volunteer for her auction.

"Are you crazy?" Kinya ask, standing up straight. Lyra stuck out her bottom lip, and looked down, saying, "Y-you don't have to...it's just..."

Kinya looked at the girl, and then sighed.

"Fine." she grumbled. "But I'm only doing it because it's for a good cause, okay?"

Lyra jumped up and grinned.

"Thank you, Miss Weatherstone! I'll ask Crysta to chaperon me, okay!" the President said before flouncing out of the room. Kinya shook her head, pulled her romance novella out of her desk, and continued reading.

-Podium and microphone (ask Headmistress Weatherstone to borrow)

Lyra smiled at her list. So far, so good! She started to walk towards Crysta's office, hoping that the woman hadn't gone back to her apartment yet. Lyra doubted it. That woman never sleeped, it seemed...it was a little weird, but Lyra did like the professor. She was kind, gentle, AND genuine.

And there was no way she'd say no to watching Lyra. The woman had a soft spot for tea-parties.

Without knocking, Lyra poked her head inside Professor Chime's office.

"Ah...Lyra..."

The President stepped into the room, closing the door behind her as Crysta acknowledged her. There was a short pause, and then the Professor said, "Of course, I'll watch you."

Lyra's eyebrow twitched. It was always sort of creepy how she never actually had to tell Crysta what she wanted. The professor just...knew.

"Oh, thank you! I was also wondering if you'd be willing to let me use some of your tea-sets for the party I'm preparing..." Lyra said, sitting down on the floor opposite of Crysta. The woman nodded and said,
"Of course...I'll also prepare some tea tomorrow, right before the party starts."

Lyra's face lit up. Yes, she was going to ask Crysta for some tea leaves, but she never expected the professor to MAKE all of the tea herself. Lyra grinned and said, "Oh, thank you, Crysta!"

"Oh, don't thank me. I'm glad to help...I'll be out behind the school with the tea-sets before midnight, and then I'll help you set up everything else, alright?"

Lyra blinked at the woman. How did she know that--nevermind. She knew everything. Apparently, she could read Lyra like an open book...

"Thank you, ma'am!" Lyra grinned, standing up. "I look forward to working with you!"

And with that, Lyra was off again.

-Tea-sets (Crysta!)

-Tea (CRYSTA!!!)

What was next? Lyra scanned her list again, and grinned. Giovia! She was a healer, yes, but in her spare time the woman loved to sew...there was no doubt in Lyra's mind that the woman had something that she could cover the stage with!

Lyra wiped the sweat from her brow, and started towards the Healing and Protection room. After what seemed like forever, Lyra finally reached the room...

Only to see it was locked.

"No!" the girl gasped. Giovia must have gone to bed already. Lyra leaned back on the closed door and sunk to the ground.

"What am I going to do now?"

"Oi! What you doing sitting out here?"

Lyra looked up to see a very grumpy looking Combat teacher. The President quickly stood up and stuttered, "P-Professor Caige! I..um...I needed to ask Giovia--I mean, Professor Eriwind a question...but it looks like she's gone to bed."

Xavier crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow, asking,
"What did you need to ask?"

Lyra sighed.

"I needed to see if she had a big, no, GIANT piece of cloth that I could use to cover a stage. You see, I'm--"

Xavier held out his hand, silencing her immediately.

"I'm already aware of what you're doing. The Training Area has a bunch of large sheets of linen that we use to make rope and things like that. You can use some, if you want." the professor suggested. Lyra's face lit up, and she clasped her hands together as she always did when she was happy. She hadn't spent much time in the Training Area, nor was she a Basic Combat student.

"Oh, that sounds perfect!"

And thus, the two set off for the training room. Xavier unlocked the door and led Lyra to the room where the linen was kept.

"Take whatever you need." he said with a yawn. "But hurry it up, I don't wanna be here all night."

Lyra quickly chose a plain white sheet that would easily cover the large stage she had created. She would be able to decorate it with flowers, too!

Lyra thanked Xavier, and was about to leave when it hit her. The girl slowly turned to the professor, and she quietly asked, "I...I also need that podium and microphone in the Main Hall...a-and I don't know if I'm--"

"So you want me to get it?" Xavier sighed, rubbing his temples. Again, he regretted his kindness. Lyra didn't even have to answer before he said, "What's in it for me?"

Lyra thought for a moment, and then grinned. The girl was perfectly aware of Professor Caige's huge crush on Kinya...so she leaned forward, and said in a hushed voice, "Miss Weatherstone is volunteering to be in the auction. If you get the podium for me, I'll make sure you win at bidding on her."

Xavier's eyes lit up, and he immediately said,
"Done."

Lyra told him where to take it, and he was off. She let herself out of the training room and started back towards the back of the school. When she reached the "tea-party in progress". She set the linen down on one of the tables and let out a long sigh...everything was going so well...but she really was getting quite tired.

She once again pulled out her list.

-Something to make the stage look pretty (Giovia might have something?)

Lyra flopped down in one of the chairs, and she pulled out her phone. Now, it was time to call Rita's Place. They were open 24/7, and often supplied the Student Council's events with food. They were delicious, cheap, and FAST. The great thing was...Rita never asked questions. She was a normal human, and as everyone knew, normal humans couldn't see Hawthorne. It was just a HUGE open field...yet Lyra always asked the woman to drop off the food right at the front of the school.

Lyra had her on speed-dial.

The pressed the phone to her ear, and waited.

"Hi, Rita, it's Lyra!"

"Oh, Lyra, honey! How are you doing? How's school?"

"Yeah, it's fine...I have a big order that needs to be filled by...ten o'clock tomorrow morning."

"Alright, hit me with your best shot!"

"Four hundred little tea sandwiches and four hundred crumpets...is that possible."

"..."

"You are the luckiest damn girl in the world. I just made all of that and more yesterday for some girl's weddin', but her honey straight up left her at the alter, I I've got a ton of leftovers! I won't charge you full price, but if you want 'em..."

"That is lucky! So you can do it, then?! Just drop them off where we usually meet by 10 o'clock...I'll pay you in full. Thank you!"

And Lyra hung up.

She almost couldn't believe her luck. Yup, she definitely wasn't cursed, that was for sure...it was almost amazing how perfectly everything was working out for her!

She silently thanked the man for running away from his wedding, and crossed another thing off her list.

-Snacks (crumpets, little sandwiches...order from town?)

Lyra placed her head on the table and closed her eyes. She just needed...a short...rest...

NO.

She couldn't fall asleep not now!

Lyra looked over her list once again...it looked like the best place to go was the storage room. The student council was giving their own room in the giant building dedicated to storage, and it was full of things that the club had used for passed parties. Decorations, costumes...it was a goldmine. Fortunately, they also had some stage-steps that Lyra often used for her plays.

And with that, Lyra was once again, off.

Pulling out her key to the Student Council's storage room, Lyra realized that she needed to get some caffeine in her system unless she wanted to pass out right there. Maybe she'd call Veronica...no. She couldn't. This was her job, she couldn't bother her best friend...but then again...Veronica was the Vice President.

It didn't matter. Lyra was the one who wanted the tea-party to take place the very next day.

The President stepped into the storage room, flicked on the light, and immediately started towards the costume closet. Most of the clothes in the closet actually belonged to Lyra, as in she bought them with her own money, but she couldn't store them all in her room...

She sifted through the dresses, and tapped her fingers against her chin. She picked out a few dresses, draped them over her arm, and then whipped out her phone.

Lyra put away her phone and walked out of the closet. Now, she needed tablecloths, decorations, and the steps...how would she be able to carry it all?

After sifting around for a bit, Lyra found a whole stack a white, lacy tablecloths all in a big, clear bin. She placed the dresses in the bin with the tablecloths, being carefully not to wrinkle them, and closed it up. Yeah, she would have to make two trips.

After many, many,
many trips between the tea-party in progress and the storage room, Lyra FINALLY managed to transport everything she needed for the party.

-Steps for the stage (storage room?)

-Tablecloths (white and lacy, preferably)

-Decorations! (storage room)

-Outfits for the Girls Being Auctioned Off (storage room/my personal collection!)

Lyra

When Lyra got back with her final armful of decorations, there was the podium and microphone, sitting on the right side of the stage...though Xavier was nowhere to be seen. He probably went back to his apartment to make a list of all of the things that he was going to make Kinya do...

Suddenly, Lyra's phone buzzed.

To: Lyra Connerson

Subject: Re: Charity Date/Tea-Party!

You're seriously going to make me wear a dress?

Lyra smiled at the text and shot back a quick 'yes' before she began looking through the decorations. What else did she need? Ah, yes...a CD player. Since Lyra knew that getting live music would be impossible, she opted for a simple, classical CD...it wasn't anything fancy, but it would do. Considering the circumstances, anyway.

Lyra once again set off. This time, for the music room. Thankfully, on her way she passed a soda machine. She forced her dollar in, got a Mountain Dew in return, and drained it in under one minute.

She had completely lost all sense of time. If anyone tried to talk to her, it was like she didn't hear them. Was the student party over? Probably. Did she care? Note really.

Was she tired anymore? Did it matter?

DID. IT. MATTER?!

Lyra quickly retrieved the CD player, still zoning out, and shuffled back to the tea-party in progress. She sleepily pulled out her list, and crossed another thing off.

-Music (borrow a CD player from the music room)

Now, with everything crossed off on her list, Lyra rolled up her sleeves to begin the hardest part of her task.

Actually setting up. Crysta had already gotten there, her jet black hair tied up into a ponytail. There were tea sets as far as the eye could see.

"Let's...do this..." Lyra said, the Mountain Dew kicking in.

ATTENTION. THE STUDENT PARTY IS NOW OVER. THE TIME IS 12:00 MIDNIGHT. PLEASE GO BACK TO YOUR DORMS.

Nichole said smiling. "What do you think jess?" She asked her plushie. Nichole walked into the dorm. "Hey emma!" Nichole said smiling. "I brought back some cake!" Setting the plate down. Mars had been sitting in one of the chairs after filling his plate, slowly taking bites of his food. Whenever he tried to doze off, it seemed that some girl would ask him if he wanted to dance. Every time, he gave the same, monotone answer. "First, I don't dance. Second, I don't know you." He knew that there were always the desperate people at dances who just wanted to dance with anybody. Of course, Mars didn't really care, and therefore kept turning them down.

Feeling his phone vibrate, he pulled it out of his pocket and examined the text he had received.

Mars chuckled looking at the text. Mars-Bars, huh. Well, at least it isn't something like Blakey-Boo. He quickly replied to the text.

Got it. Already have ideas on prices. Will go over it with Blake later.

Message Sent.

He never really was one for long texts. Besides, that was all he needed to say. With the bidders being kids at a high school, it would be a good idea to have the prices low and slowly increase. Of course, for the more 'big ticket items' the starting bid would be slightly higher and increase at larger increments. As the party ended, Mars tucked away his phone and made his way out of the gymnasium. Who would have guessed that I would be the only student council member to stay till the end? Looks like I win again. What exactly he had won, he wasn't sure, but he knew he won it. As he reached his dorm and took a seat at his desk, he took out the history work he had been assigned. It was basic stuff, so he decided to get it over with right away.

Instructions: Answer each question the best you can. Be descriptive!

Name: Mars Porter

What you hope to learn in this class?: Anything! I have a thirst for knowledge that I know can be quenched by taking this class. If I were to be specific, it would be more about monsters. Being interested in fighting as well, this subject peaks my interest more so than the others.

Why did you choose this class?: Well, because I love learning new things, and this class is definitely one where I'm going to learn. Plus, I always find your classes the most interesting, so I couldn't miss out.

Do you have any previous knowledge of the Otherworld?: Just what was went over in the previous years classes and what we discussed after classes.

Are there any emotional/physical/medical issues I should know about?: Nope! Unless you count a flesh eating disease that manifests itself every few months. (Just kidding)

Putting away his work, he pulled out a mystery novel he had been reading called The A.B.C. murders. Mars usually read a bit before going to sleep, and he wasn't going to stop his routine.

~Lyra/Professor Crysta Chime~

"Lyra, are you alright? I sense you're a bit...no, VERY tired...maybe you should take a break." Crysta said as she smoothed out and scattered rose petals on the large, white linen that had been spread over the stage. Lifting the podium to get it on was a pain, but she was able to do it, nonetheless. Lyra, on the other hand, was making every single table look absolute perfect...and there were A LOT of tables. Adjusting every single tablecloth perfectly and placing one of Crysta's many tea-sets in the center. Each one was to be filled with whatever tea Crysta made...Lyra would probably get Mars to heat them all up whenever they got cold. Cream, sugar, and all of the other fixings would be placed on the tables it the morning, and--

"Lyra!"

The girl had collapsed onto the ground as she was right in the middle of going over the next day's plans in her head. Crysta immediately ran over to the girl and shook her, saying frantically, "Lyra? LYRA ARE YOU DEAD OR NOT?!"

The President opened an eyes and groaned, sitting up. She rubbed her eyes and mumbled, "Sorry...I'm just tired..."

Crysta frowned and put a hand on the girl's back, saying,
"Look, maybe you should head to bed..."

Lyra jumped up and cried, "NO! I still have to finish decorating and...and I have to finish by tomorrow! Everyone will hate me if I don't!"

The professor was silent for a moment, and then she nodded. Standing up as well, she said,
"Alright, if you insist...but you didn't eat dinner with everyone else...we don't want your blood-sugar to get too low, okay? I'm going to go find you something to eat."

Before Lyra could protest, Crysta was off. The girl sighed, and continued moved on to the next table. Lyra was never very mindful of her health, especially when she was putting other people before her...missing a meal or two was definitely worth making others happy, in her opinion. Of course, she didn't purposely neglect her health. It just sort of slipped her mind. That was why she ate so much at a single sitting, to make up for a skipped meal. Of course, this wasn't good for her...but oh well. She was willing to endure the stomach-aches.

Lyra was able to get three tables set up in Crysta's absence, and was about to start another one when the professor came back with a full plate of food and another Mountain Dew. Lyra didn't bother arguing, and pulled up a chair to one of the unset tables. She HAD been working for...well, it didn't matter how long she was working. What mattered was how much progress she was making!

"Thanks." the President said, immediately digging into her food as it was placed in front of her. Crysta nodded, and said,
"Now, you eat and rest for a bit and I'll set up the rest of the tables, alright?"

Lyra nodded, and said with her mouth full, "...and then I'll set up the chairs."

Crysta nodded and said,
"Sounds like a good plan."

Maria laughed silently upon seeing 'Blakey-Boo' and 'Mars-Bars'. Do I know a Blake or a Mars? Are guys going to be up for the bidding, too? Maria noticed something then... Ech. The situation was really serious as it was here, but Maria couldn't help but cringe at the spelling mistake. "as GORGEOUS as possibly"? Maria would need to slap some sense into Lyra the next time she saw her - But now wasn't the time to think about this.

"As gorgeous as possibly," Maria repeated to herself. "Really, Lyra." Maria mustered all of her strength and brought Veronica back to the room with her - Whether she was cooperating or not, she couldn't tell and didn't really care at this point. Maria unlocked and opened the door to the dorm and walked in, then helped Veronica to her bed. Maria sat her down on her bed, assuming she hadn't already told her to stop at this point, then walked to her own bed, slipping off her dress as she went. I needn't hide myself from her - We're both women here, right? Short women, but women nonetheless. Maria pulled her luggage out from under her bed and pulled a pair of comfy shorts and a tank top out of a bunch of clothes. Both were black, so she wouldn't look particularly fantastic in them, which would bug her - So she reached further into her luggage and grabbed a pair of striped rainbow OTK socks out and slipped them on, following suit with her shorts and top.

Switching from something fancy, tight and lacy into something soft, comfortable and cute had to be one of the greatest feelings ever - A feeling she had only begun to encounter recently, since even just thirty years ago wearing pants was frowned upon if you did so regularly. Missing out on something that she now considered so crucial and wonderful for about nine tenths of her life seemed so strange, but not at the time, since no alternative was available, she supposed. Maria noticed she must have just looked like she had been admiring her nonexistent chest, since she had just been looking down at herself for a few minutes and thinking - Rather than continuing to do so, Maria walked over to the desk in the room awkwardly and sat down in the chair. Her books were already strewn about on the desk, which was a feeling she quite liked - She had to get rid of that feeling of having a study for a while when she left her apartment in Paris for this. Admittedly it was a nicer place to live, but the view of Paris at midnight was brilliant compared to a pitch-black schoolyard.

Maria looked over her left shoulder at Veronica to check on her. "Hey, Veronica, do you need anything? You're all right there, right? If you do wind up needing anything, just give me a shout, OK?" Maria opened one of her books - A copy of Dracula, which was about to reach its 114th birthday - To the first page and started to read silently to herself.

Mirabelle Ami

It was just then that Ami noticed John hadn't followed her, when she looked to her side and didn't see him. She was rather shocked, since she didn't even feel his hand leave hers (Maybe that's because she's insensitive - WHOOPS, DID I JUST SAY THAT OUT LOUD), so something was wrong. Oh, you don't need to worry about him, Ami thought. He's not really worth chasing anyways.

Then again, she hadn't yet bothered trying to charm him. That might work, if he wasn't completely repulsed by her. Or maybe Lyra would be more interesting to try that on... Ami then felt her head behind her chin throb with pain, the angry face of that little girl that packed a punch flashing in her mind for a moment. Ami let out a little "Hmph" and started on her way to the dorms.

Ami stepped outside and walked along a path for a while, then noticed someone familiar with someone not so familiar. Lyra and... A teacher, she assumed. Ami didn't even have to think about it; This was a great opportunity for another streak of fun.

The only problem was, Ami was tired as it was. The week before coming here was spent in Japan, and she had only just returned from there when she came here - She would naturally be more tired than usual for the weekend, or the next week if she was unlucky. Instead of doing anything Ami decided to stick to the shadows and watch whatever was going on, since it interested her anyways. Some kind of stereotypical British ritual was what it looked like, what with all the fancy tea cups and lace things.

(Ami did a... Er, normal post?)

Shinji sighed into the book once Blake gone into the bathroom, feeling as if he had been holding his breath this whole time. Placing the book down, he leaned back into the chair and looked up at the ceiling. He couldn't read or more that he didn't feel like it now. Because of Blake, Shinji's heart was everywhere, being thrown and tossed in different places until it was caught in a knot of confusion. It was painfully sweet and Shinji craved for more like how a dry man thirst for water.

Blake was something Shinji had felt before in the past, the feeling of loving someone but it didn't go well as his heart was shattered by rejection. His first crush was on his best friend, little Calista Vance, her fragile figure and sweet smiles were what made Shinji love her but what made him more in love with her was that she cared about him deeper than any other, giving up everything just for him to live on another day with her love. She was his light and support but now she was just a friend, the only friend that still stayed by his side even when he was like this and Shinji was thankful to have met her, for her to be in his life.

Hearing the sound of water running, Shinji turned to stare at the bathroom door that was the only object that blocked Shinji from Blake. Getting up from his seat, he went over to Blake's bed and stare at it with dull ruby eyes. Taking a seat on the bed as a soft creak could be heard, Shinji ran his finger over the place where Blake laid and sighed, gripping his hand in a fist and hesring he water stopping after, the sound of Blake coming out of the bathtub.

Quickly, Shinji went back to his original spot and tried to act like he was reading, picking the book up and flinched slightly when he heard the door click. Turning to look at Blake, Shinji almost fell out of his chair when Blake spoke, thinking he find out that Shinji did something weird but it seemed that Blake had no clue, getting up and sighed in relief,"Well we could-" Then the intercom came on reporting that the party was already over, Shinji standing there and stood there in silence for a bit until he let out a "pft" and started laughing softly,"Seems we don't have to go now." Shinji exclaimed and went over to the shower with his towel in hand,"I'll take my turn now." Shinji said and shut the door behind him, walking into the bathroom and stripping off his shirt and everything else.

Lastly, he took of his mask, placing it on the sink and going into the shower without looking at himself in the mirror, already knowing what to be seen on his face. Turning the knobs, the sound of running water splashing on his back echoed throughout the room and stream filled the room covering his nude body, running his hand through his damp hair. Water dripped from his body, from his chest down to his toned stomach, disappearing into the stream that covered his lower half of his body. looking up at the ceiling, Shinji sighed and just let his mind flow with everything, memories of today and Blake popping out every corner of his mind like his whole day was filled with Blake,"You're really something Mr. Secretary." Shinji mumbled and continued to wash himself, the water dripping down his chin.

The crowd continued to push forward, Calista doing the opposite and wanting to get out of their ways but she couldn't and was about to fall when....

BAM

a loud noise of what sounded like someone hit something and knocked it over, turning to see Veronica covered in food. The sight of the food being knocked to the floor made the crowd all "aww" in disappointment of wasted food, the crowd disappearing when the intercom came on and told everyone to leave now since the curfew was in session. Huffing to breath in the freedom from the craziness, Calista did as she was told and ran off to her dorm, unlocking the door with a click, Calista quickly shut it behind her and slide down the door, exhausted. She was finally alone and now she could finally get some peace for herself, going over to her bed and lying down lazily.

She didn't feel like doing anything but only to take a shower and go to sleep, getting up to go take a quick shower to wash off all the sweat and body odor she got from the party. After her nice shower, Calista went over to her bed to get some sleep when the sound of buzzing from her laptop could be heard, grumbling, Calista opened the laptop to be blinded by bright blue light, shielding her eyes and adjusting to the lighting. Now going to her emails, she clicked on the mail she got from the president, surprised how she even got her email but she was the president of the student council so she had the power to get Calista's contact information but it still felt like she was being stalked by her.

Reading the message, she became dumbfounded by the words and read over the message five times so she could finally snap out of her daze to know what was happening,"EH?! A-auction?! W-when did I?! What?!" Calista exclaimed loudly only to get a bang from the rooms next door to shut up since it was late and everyone was sleeping. Covering her mouth, she let out a soft "oops" and stared at the message in disbelief at what she got herself into,"I'm gonna die..." Calista thought and closed her laptop, not wanting to reply to this email and threw herself under her blanket, sleeping off the night and praying this was all a dream,"Please don't wake me up and make me do this, please oh please." Calista continued to repeat over and over in her mind.

Kuro pouted in Sora's arm, hearing the intercom going on and grin,"Time to get the heck out of here." Kuro thought and jumped out of Sora's arm and glanced back at her, his ear twitched,"See ya later girl!" Kuro exclaimed though the girl wouldn't understand what he was trying to say to her, dashing off into the night to go and sleep with Blake since Calista must have already forgotten their promise,"Stupid girl will get it." Kuro grumbled and took off his collar, his form growing into a full-grown man,"Much better, now I'll be able to get in." Kuro said walking into the dormitory for the boys and stood at Blake and Shinji's room, knocking on the door softly.

Alain had no luck with making friends but he did make some fangirls, meeting with some girls and chatting with them. He could say that they were like friends but they were just only after his looks, in the back of his mind, he was making a grim look but on the surface he was giving off a sweet smile. He couldn't bring himself to be rude to these girls and they didn't do anything wrong, Alain feeling low of himself. Chatting the night away with the girls, the intercom came on, indicating that it was time for them to go to their dorms.

Getting up from his seat, he waved goodbyes to the group of girls as they squealed and ran off to their dorms, Alain sighing in relief,"Girls are really something." Alain thought and sighed once more,"I wish they wouldn't just look at me on the outside." Alain mumbled into the night, looking up at the bright moon that shined brightly over his head, barely making out a man's face in a way,"Man of the moon, what would it feel like being alone I wonder?" Alain called out to the moon as if it was alive but the only thing he got as an answer was the sound of the wind and the night animals as they did their usual thing at night.

Walking into the boy's dormitory, he unlocked the door to his room, opening the door quietly and saw a boy with bright red hair sitting while reading a book. Closing the door behind him quietly, Alain stared at the boy and gave him a friendly smile, a habit of his whenever he met someone new,"Hello, my name Alain Olliston, your roommate this year." Alain introduced himself hoping this guy was nice since he would be stuck with him for a while.

-DONE! Sorry for the long wait! ;-; I had some problems on my side and yea...-

~:.:.:Veronica Elizabeth McCarter:.:.:~

()()()()()()()()()()

Eventually Veronica and Maria were back in their rooms. Whatever happened back there seemed to have happen quite quickly. it only seemed about a minute but to Veronica it felt like an hour. All the memories flooding back. Those blurry memories. Veronica tried to remember...How old was she? How long had she been this old? Maybe this was the man responsible? Was he the one who caused the curse? He told Veronica to stop trying to help. But also, Veronica didn't want to worry Maria. With whatever she saw, maybe Maria didn't see it? Maybe it was only visible to Veronica? She was standing right there? Maybe she was trying to help? Veronica couldn't remember clearly. All that kept flooding her mind was darkness. and pain.

Veronica turned her head on the bed to look at Maria asking her question. "Hey, Veronica, do you need anything? You're all right there, right? If you do wind up needing anything, just give me a shout, OK?". So she did see it. Did she see the whole action? Maybe Veronica just appeared to fall. Either way, Veronica trusted Maria in her concerning thoughts.

Veronica couldn't help but shed a tear. If she was the only one who could see or experience this man, then it would take some time for them to believe her. She Turned over into her bed, not bothering to change into a different set of clothing and fell asleep.

----------------------------

As she slept, she dreamt. Memories came back. Veronica was sitting in a grand, beautiful, and golden room. It seemed to be a library from the victorian age. Books filled each bookcase and grand windows allowed light for reading. There was a feel of nostalgia that littered the air. Veronica smelt the rotting away of books and the dust that filled the air. Farther away was Veronica's mother and Father. The father sitting, and reading, while Her mother sat and sewed a new pattern for a dress.

Veronica's mother was just as equally beautiful as her. Elizabeth Datre McCarter. Always wanting to be like her, Veronica looked up to her. Most men even ran the companies around London but the one run by the McCarter family was actually run by Elizabeth herself. Veronica one day was going to run the company also so she had to trust her mother. She assumed the misandry that she developed came from her mother, as her mother was always cheated out by other companies because hers was female run. Her father tried to help as much as he could though, being there for the children and watching over them.

As soon as the dream came, it caught up in flames. Literal flames. The fire consumed the house and it edged towards Veronica's mother and father. In the dream sequence, Veronica ran to her mother and father in attempts to save them from the fire. But before the dream ended, all Veronica could see was her mother smiling at her. As she burnt away.

------------------

((The next part is for when the next day happens.))

------------------

Veronica awoke. Blood covered her pillow. Fearing that maria would see her tears, Veronica turned it over to the clean side and left it. Then she walked over to the windows to shut the shades, as the sunlight peered through to try and burn her sensitive skin. Veronica then sat back onto her bed. The tea party was today, she knew...She wasn't even there to help Lyra with everything that was needed. She was going to be so angry with her. Veronica put her face into the pillow. Today wasn't the day.

Blake could have sang out in relief when the announcement said they didn't have to go, Blake hated parties, and any other social gathering that was basically a hundred people gathered in a single hot sweaty place. Sure he should have gone but...he couldn't change the past.

"Good riddance, I’m so glad I don't have to go to that stupid thing..." Blake murmured mostly to himself.

Hearing Shinji's laughter made Blake lightly smile, his laugh was like bell chimes; it was soft and was soothing to hear. Once he left for the shower Blake ran his fingers through his hair in exasperation, he was crushing hard, though that wasn't the main problem. The main reason was he didn't know why. He only knew Shinji for a day yet he was drawn to him...his rudeness, mysteriousness, and unexpected protective side were all factors in this. Blake wanted to find out more about him, but at the same time...he didn't want to get hurt again, or drag Shinji in his messy love life. While contemplating over why he liked Shinji Blake felt his cellphone vibrate. His cellphone was an iPhone, he insisted on him getting it while they were going out, with a case that had a raven which held a rose in its break. Nevermore was inscribed in white curly letters on the top (he was a huge Edgar Allen Poe fan.) Unlocking it he was saw Lyra's text message and inwardly groaned at her nickname for him.

Thanks Lyra for giving Mars insult material...though hopefully he won't stoop that low and use it.

Subject: Re: Charity Date/Tea-Party

Alright...just make sure you take a breather, we can't have the president passing out during the auction.

Sending the text message Blake threw his phone on his bed though instead of landing on the bed it bounced off of it and landed on the floor. Nice one Blake...grabbing the phone from the floor it didn't look to be damaged. Somehow the phone was now on his photo album and showed a picture of Blake...with him. He was giving Blake a kiss on the cheek while Blake was rolling his eyes and giving a forced peace sign, a small smile adorning his face. Memories threatened to resurface from he image of this photo but he ended up repressing them like always

How did my love life turn so shitty?

Forgetting to shut the screen off as a result of trying to bury awful memories Blake absentmindedly placed his phone on a small table near both of their beds before changing into a white shirt and sweatpants and plopping on his bed, his exhaustion from the day's events dragging him into a deep sleep.

Looking over to where he was called from, Mars bookmarked his page number temporarily and placed it on the table. He'd probably get back to reading it tomorrow, as he needed to be prepared for the auction. The guy who had introduced himself, Alain, definitely had a look that Mars assumed was popular with the females of the school; red shining eyes, well cut white hair, and was pretty tall, though what that had to do anything was unknown. Of course, Mars never liked to judge someone based on their looks, and instead looked at how he introduced himself to gauge what type of person he was. The over-used smile and greeting was present, but it lacked the whole 'I hope become friends' blurb that was often used by those who were overly nice. He came to the conclusion that this Alain was someone who always tried to be nice and helpful, but not to the point of nausea.

Shifting in his chair, Mars adjusted his hair slightly out of habit. "Names Mars Porter. I don't remember seeing you here before, so I'm assuming your new. In that case, I hope you have a good time at this school. I'll probably be going to sleep soon, so we'll have more time to chat later." He tried not to sound too formal, adopting a more casual approach. When he was acting as the student treasurer, he had a more business-like tone to the way he spoke, but outside he tried to be casual with a hint of business. "Out of curiosity, what classes do you have?"

~Headmistress Kinya Weatherstone~

Kinya set her cell phone back down on her desk after replying to Lyra...a dress? Geez, what had she gotten herself into? Kinya hadn't worn a dress in years...she was just going to be making a fool of herself. Even without her mask, anything girly just didn't suit her, be it a dress or a cute headband.

Kinya glanced up at the clock on the wall...it was passed curfew. Now, it wasn't odd for Kinya to just spend the night on the sofa in her office, just in case there was some sort of emergency...but maybe she would go back to her apartment. It was a shame how she didn't spend much time there, as the Headmistress/Headmaster were always given the best living accommodations out of the entire staff. The average staff apartment consisted of one master bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, and a large bathroom. Kinya's apartment had three, lovely bedrooms and two bathrooms. Her living area was quite roomy, and her kitchen was home to all of the latest appliances...

The woman was gathering up the few things she'd be taking back home with her when her phone started blasting
Ring My Bell by Anita Ward. It was an embarrassing ringtone, definitely...Kinya would never admit how much she loved the song.

She glanced at the caller I.D., and then froze.

Mom

Kinya stared at her phone for a moment, and then narrowed her eyes. She violently press the 'ignore' button, and then turned her phone on silent. Why Kinya hadn't blocked the number, she still didn't know.

"How dare she call me...!" Kinya growled, storming out of her office, slamming the door shut behind her. Kinya loved her mother, there was no doubt about it...but the Headmistress just couldn't bear the fact that she would always be seen as a monster in her eyes.

Kinya tried her best to keep in contact with her parents when she first arrived at Hawthorne, but as she years passed, they started to ignore her calls, make up stories about why she couldn't visit...until...

They just cut off all communication altogether.

"The only reason she wants to talk to me now is because of Kahra..." Kinya muttered as she stormed into her apartment. The distance between her office and her apartment wasn't small, so Kinya was surprised at how quickly she had managed to get there. Tossing her bag onto the floor, the woman immediately slipped out of her black coat, disregarding it to the carpet as well.

Kinya flopped down onto the couch and sighed.

Suddenly, a small purple creature with three eyes hopped onto the woman's back, squeaking happily and jumping up and down.

"I'm fine, Theodore..." she smiled, turning over and petting the creature's head. Now of course, since Theodore WAS a monster, he wasn't allowed in Hawthorne...but Kinya managed to sneak him in when she was just a Freshman. There was no point in getting rid of him.

When Soraphine was finished choosing what to eat, the intercom sounded, telling everyone to leave as it was curfew. "Already curfew? My.. Time sure does pass." As Sora said this, Kuro jumped out of her arm and walked away, turning back to her one last time then left. "Bye-bye Mr. Cat~" she called out to him, giving him a small wave.

Now, all she had to do was find her room. Then suddenly, something clicked in the back of her mind, she didn't even know where her room was! Let alone know if she had a room mate or not. "Aww.. Fudgecicles.." She muttered, pouting. Heading for the gym's door, her phone in her back pocket vibrated. 'Huh.. Wonder who it could be.. I didn't give anyone my number..' She thought to herself. She took her phone out and saw that it was a message from an unknown number.

Turning the knob, Shinji took a step out of the shower, a towel wrapped around his waist. His hair was dripping wet and his face felt nude without his mask but he didn't mind as long as Blake or anyone else didn't see his face, he didn't care. Drying himself off, he grabbed his mask but didn't put it on, lazy to put it on and he kinda liked being free from it but with Blake still around, he wasn't sure if he could keep this freedom for long, opening the door just a crack to see if Blake was up or not. Looking over at Blake's bed, he saw the young boy already snoozing once more and smirked,"Seems he knocked himself out good." Shinji thought and walked out of the bathroom, shirtless and no mask on.

Grabbing a plain shirt and some shorts, he threw them on and dried his hair once more just to make sure it was dry. While doing so, a knock could be heard at the door, Shinji grabbing his mask and putting it on,"Who could it be at this hour?" Shinji grumbled and went over to the door, careful to open it slowly so Blake wouldn't wake up but it seemed the guy was too tired to even care, so defenseless for Shinji to take control of but Shinji had no plan to do such things. Looking down at the cat boy, Shinji chuckled and moved aside to let Kuro in, Kuro grumbling annoyed that he had to wait outside for so long, more like just a few minutes,"Stupid master, you took s-" A hand was placed on Kuro's mouth, Shinji glaring at him and glancing over at Blake's sleeping form,"Shut it Kuro, Blake is sleeping and it's late so just shut your trap and go to sleep." Shinji ordered, Kuro returning the glare but did as he was told.

Putting back on his collar, he transformed back into his cat form and went over to Shinji's bed, plopping onto one of Shinji's pillows and claiming it as his. Stretching his back, Kuro curled up into a ball and snoozed off to sleep in seconds before Shinji could say anything to him. Watching the black cat sleeping, Shinji also went to sleep, turning off the lamp and looking over at Blake. A small blush appeared on his cheeks behind his mask, taking the mask off and placing a kiss on Blake's forehead, backing away a bit, Shinji smiled softly at Blake's adorable face,"Good night Blake." He whispered into his ear before going over to his bed and sleeping off the night.

Alain grin when the guy, Mars as he identified himself as, spoke with a calm tone, not in an annoying way or like how those fangirls talk to him. Mars talked to him more of business-like but at the same time casually. He also had a sharp mind, knowing well that Alain was new to the school,"He seems like a nice guy... I think I'll like it here." Alain noted to himself, going over to one of the beds and setting himself down. Once he got himself in a more comfortable spot, he gave Mars a more genuine smile,"Nice to meet you Mars, thank you for the warm welcome and I hope to be on good terms with you." He said cheerfully but then he was then asked about his classes, amused by the cliche question,"Well, I have Basic Combat 101 and Mediation and Focus. What classes do you have Mars?" Alain asked curious as well since it was only fair to know of Mars' classes. Sadly, Alain didn't got a chance to participate in his classes so he didn't know much about the Professors who taught the classes and his fellow pupils who he would be working along side with.

'Good terms with you'. That was just another way of saying 'I hope we become friends', but Mars just pushed that aside and hoped it was more of a formality than actual feelings. He got out of his chair and made his way into the bathroom, leaving the door open very slightly so he could still talk as he changed out of his clothes and and prepared to go to sleep. "Seems we have completely different classes. I've got history and healing & protection, though I wish I had combat." Turning on the water to brush his teeth, he raised his voice as not to be drowned out. "Of course, I plan to go to sleep soon, so I'll rant about that some other time." He chuckled at his own joke, pausing to brush his teeth.

After a moment of silence, Mars stepped out of the bathroom in a new change of clothes. Throwing his old clothes at the edge of his bed, he got under his covers and faced Alain. "Sorry we couldn't chat a bit more, but tomorrow is a busy day for me, so I've got to get some early sleep. We can talk more tomorrow if you want." After waiting a while to hear anything Alain may have said, Mars turned in his bed and waved a hand in the air once. "Well, see you in the morning." With that, he closed his eyes to fall asleep.

Maria Scarlette

(For whenever tomorrow IRP comes)

Maria had woke up at about 5:15 in the morning with her face - Mostly her nose - bookmarking her page in Dracula - 171, she recalled. She hadn't quite gotten the wonderful amount of sleep she had hoped, since she was awake reading until 3 in the morning - But she didn't feel tired for whatever reason.

Maybe not sleeping would become a habit, or at least tolerable.

When she woke up she slipped a makeshift bookmark into her place (In her book, of course) and she stood up - She glanced around the room, looking for something to do out of desperation and boredom. There's no kitchen, so I can't make breakfast, Maria thought, her stomach growling. I can't go back to sleep, because my eyes won't let me, Maria's eyes fell shut for a moment. And I don't think anyone would be outside at this time - So what should I do?

Sleeping was starting to sound like a prospect worth trying at this point. Maria laid down on her bed and fell asleep instantly, not even bothering to cover herself with blankets.

Mirabelle Ami

(Again, for whenever tomorrow IRP comes)

Ami had found herself walking to her dorm last night wordlessly, not stopping to talk to anyone - She only stopped to look over at Lyra and whoever that other person was. She fell face-first onto her bed and passed out, only to wake up with no one in the bed beside her. What gave? Had her roommate, if her roommate even existed, slept in a club room or something?

Ami laid awake on her bed, staring at the ceiling. This is pathetic, Ami complained. All I've done here so far is get myself a skirt-chaser and kiss someone, and that was an accident. Sort of.

I have no regrets.

Ami stood up and slid her suitcase out from underneath her bed. She dressed herself in a tank top and jeans, then left the room - Maybe some other crazy person was awake at this point, and maybe going outside wouldn't be a complete waste of time and energy.

"Fine, "Yes, I've been thinking of Lyra, but no I have-- God!"

Johnathon rolled his eyes at the boy, clearly stinking of defeat with his retorts, but unwilling to admit it. He had to admit Lyra was cute, but still, he couldn't possibly have fallen for a girl that he had just met. All tallied, John had known her since this morning, and had only spoken or interacted with her for possibly a tenth of that time. Love at first sight just didn't happen; it was an emotion that had to be built up and allowed to flower over time. And who was Johnathon kidding? Him in love? The notion sent bile up his throat.

Since when had Johnathon felt love in the last several years . . . no, most of his life. He'd be damned before it took hold of his senses so quickly, and without warning! Lyra wouldn't be the crutch of his problems - an outlet of selfish pleasure from his reality.

"Alright man, whatever floats your boat honestly, but please don't make religion cloud your judgement."

"Religion,"
Johnathon scoffed, setting his foot in place and spinning around on it to face Geno. "This has nothing to do with religion." It didn't take a genius to point out how contradictory his words were to his actions. Nonetheless, he continued on a small spiel. "Women kissing . . . it-- it's outrageous!!" He made a spitting motion on the floor as he began to walk again, not offering the slightest look back at Geno.

"You sound like you're german or russian, and I'm not quite sure which if you are. And you look classy. It almost feels like you've got a rich background, but I've got a feeling you don't, since you settled for that piece of crap piano back then."

"Polish," Johnathon corrected, sighing as he slipped his hands into his pockets. His neck craned forward with his shoulders as they slumped, granting him the presence of an extremely tired and uncaring individual - which he was. Absently he ran a hand through his hair. A rich background, eh? John thought, repeating Geno's words in his head. Well, he was neither right nor wrong about that. Johnathon certainly had wealth, not immense amounts of it, for he neither possessed a high-ranking job nor was he born into a rich family, but he certainly had the money to get by with some added luxuries.

Needless to say, his ears cringed as he heard Geno say 'crap piano'. To him, any instrument was what it was - an instrument. Quality or ornate pianos didn't matter much to him, as long as the sound was soothing to the ear and it could be played. And throughout all of his life, John had never found a piano that wasn't either of the above. Being raised in a wealthy family certainly garnered such opinions though, Johnathon figured, so he cut Geno some slack by only saying, "A piano is a piano, in my opinion. Whether a simple keyboard or a grand, as long as I can play it I'm satisfied." He scratched the back of his head, offering a slight glance at Geno over his shoulder. "Though," he continued, "I do prefer the higher-end of the grand piano line." A slight chuckle escaped his lips.

(In the interest of advancing the RP, I'm time skipping with Johnathon. I'll just say he and Geno hung out some at the student party, though for the most part John was a bore. @Kriyze)

-TIME SKIP-

Johnathon made it back to his dorm, fairly tired and ready for bed. He took note of the other two guys in the room, but only offered a brief 'hello' before flopping down on his pillow. Time for socializing could be put on hold. Sleep was for now.

He cast a sideways glance at his small bedside table. Liam's homework was still there from where John had set it previously that day. Well, it was the weekend, so there'd be certainly time for that later. Sighing, Johnathon removed the pack of cigarettes from his pocket, then went to sleep without changing. His dreams were not filled with large Polish women as he had expected.

[/QUOTE]
"I know. So can I."

Ryuu's thoughts entirely dissolved at her words. She had said it so kindly and . . . honestly. Just like that, it was as if Elsa had accepted all of him into her heart - his flaws included. Certainly a couple would make it through their individual troubles together, that was nearly a given, but how Elsa had just said it to Ryuu was beyond what he could have hoped for. "Oh, Elsa," he quietly cried, his voice cracking. It only took a second for his arms to be tightly wrapped around her short figure again. He was nodding to himself, a confident and affirming smile on his face. It looks like I really did choose the right one . . .

"...well, if you said no, I'd kick your ass."

Ryuu chuckled awkwardly at this, tilting his head back some. No doubt she would have, he thought, the corners of his mouth twitching. To be honest though, could you find a guy who wouldn't want to move into an apartment with his girlfriend? The hilarity of it struck Ryuu hard, almost as hard as what came next.

Elsa was crying.

"Elsa! Elsa!" Helplessly, Ryuu tried to discern the nurse's tears. Were they of joy, sadness, remembrance? He didn't like them, whatever they were for. He wanted to see Elsa's charming smile again, how it had just been a moment before. His own legs began to shiver, and as he bit back the ferocity to shout, he found himself wavering on the spot. Each sniffle, as her hands gripped his shirt tighter and tighter, brought a chill up his spine. His arms were still wrapped around her, tight, but he needed something else, so he knelt down until his eyes were level with Elsa's. For a good long moment he gazed into them, admiring them even when filled with tears, before kissing the woman softly on the nose. It was just a simple love peck, but Ryuu thought it was enough. He had placed his hands over Elsa's where they still tightly gripped the front of his shirt. "It's late, Elsa," he said, "and I can't quit my queen of sleep."

They were moving in together! It was official! No more chances for a harem, Ryuu thought sadly, but hey, who needs ten b**ches when you got the queen!

Geno stopped for second. "Pfft, that's so christian." He thought to himself. He had always had a bad view of religion as a whole, mostly thinking their ideologies sucked balls. He nodded at his comment about instruments. "That's respectable, I suppose. I guess I'm a bit to pampered to relate. I'll make sure we'll get a better one in the future though." He said patting Johns shoulder.

(No ideas so insert random party scene here)

Geno noticed the time, and thought that maybe it was about time to get back to his dorm. Curfew rules were weird in his opinion, as he wasn't allowed to leave to school anyway. So what were they worried about? Hm, maybe that the students would have parties or something. Pfft. He started making his way back to the dorms dropping a short "See you around John." before he left.

Back at the dorms it seemed like his roomies had already fallen asleep. One more roommate than he thought he'd have too. Mars was there, and some guy he hadn't seen before. He looked at his watch. "Well, probably about 8 hours or so until I find out." He thought to himself as he took a seat in his bed as quietly as he could, and got a bit depressed when he noticed that the pillow he had thrown earlier was still in Mars' bed. He frowned, but decided not to disturb his slumber.

He grabbed the book he had started on earlier. "Otherworld History: A Basic Understanding of The Unknown". He sighed quietly. This was gonna be a long night. Geno had very strange sleep cycles, at times he slept 12 hours a night and randomly pass out easily during the day as well, but this was just after one of those times, so now he would probably stay up for about three days without sleeping. Ugh, boring. Oh well, would give him lots of time to finish all of these books...

(Morning)

He still didn't feel fatigued, but he was bored. He had managed to finish the first book, and moved on to the next book in the same series. "Otherworld History: A Slightly Less Basic Understanding of The Unknown". He had almost burst out in laughter in the middle of the night when reading the title, but he managed to choke it back when he realized how incredibly bored he must've been to think that truly was funny. He looked at his watch. "Maybe these guys will wake up soon, so I get an excuse to stop reading this.." He whispered to himself. He leaned back against the wall and felt a sting of pain through his spine. He had definitely been bent forward for too long.

He sent a glance towards the new kid. He had done so a couple times already, whenever he got too bored to finish a sentence he let his eyes wander around the room. He was incredibly pale, and his hair followed the same suit. He sighed. Yet another reason why he liked John was probably because he seemed like one of the very few people here not suffering from gigantism. His eyes wandered to his arms, and stayed there for a moment (Total coincidence, promise). He was lost in thought and actually just staring out into space, but when he realized that it could look like he was checking him out to someone he shook his head, and looked back at the page and kept reading. "I hope they'll wake up soon.."

~Lyra/Professor Crysta Chime/Headmistress Kinya Weatherstone~

As the sun started to peek over the nether edges of the trees surrounding Hawthorne, Lyra (surprisingly) didn't feel like she was going to die or pass out. She felt great! Well, the pile of empty Mountain Dew cans was probably responsible for that, but how else was she supposed to get rhough the day? She had already missed one event she organized, and that was to organize the CURRENT event. There was no way she was missing two student councils parties in two days. It would make her come off as a bad President.

By this time, everything was decorated. Every single table was perfect, four chairs sitting in amazing symmetry around each one. Crysta was just finishing making the third enormous jug of tea, and the two had more than enough time to fill all of the tea-pots.

"Hey, Crysta, I'm gonna go get that cream and sugar now!" Lyra said, picking up her bag again and starting off. Crysta nodded, and sang back, "So long, farewell!"

She was definitely really tired, and had just entered the slightly loopy phase of it.

When Lyra reached the dining hall, there weren't many people there. Only a few earlybird students sipping on some coffee and two staff members putting out the breakfast buffet.

Now, Lyra just walked back into the kitchen to grab what she needed. She only really needed to ask the first few times she needed something, but after a while, the staff working there just let her come and go.

Lyra plunked a giant jar of sugar into the grocery cart that was kept in the kitchen, along with a tub of cream. She was about to leave, when some freshly cut lemon caught her eye. Hey, some people liked lemon with their tea!

She put the lemon in her cart as well, and then rolled it out of the kitchen, out of the dining hall, and back to the tea-party.

Shockingly, it only took about two hours to fill the tea-pots and fill the cream-thing (as Lyra called it) and the sugar jar. By this time, it was about 9:15 a.m, so Lyra decided to go to the front of the school to wait for the food. Rita was always early, which was precisely the reason Lyra ordered them at 10.00 a.m.

When she got there, she gasped at how huge the parcel was. Rita was nowhere to be seen, but there was a note.

A gift to my very best costumer. They're leftovers anyway! -Rita

Lyra grinned, happy that Rita had, indeed, been early, and tucked the note into her pocket. All of the snacks were wrapped and piled into not one, not two...not even three shopping carts. FOUR carts filled to the brim with little sandwiches and crumpets.

Needless to say, it took 30 minutes to wheel them all back and forth. Thankfully, the party wasn't too far from the entrance of the school.

Crysta was fast asleep in the grass when Lyra wheeled in the fourth cart.

"That's alright. Sleep for now...you worked hard." Lyra said quietly.

Now, she only had about fifteen minutes until everyone arrived to discuss the actual auction part of the tea-party. In the meantime, Lyra would just stack the sandwiches and crumpets on the empty platters on each table.

Lyra actually got about a third of the tables done before Kinya showed up, dark circles under her eyes. Her white hair stuck out, much resembling Lyra's.

The Headmistress's eyes drifted down to the sleeping professor, and she asked with a yawn, "Did you two really stay up all night?"

Kinya was not a morning person.

Lyra nodded happily and put her hands on her hips, saying, "We sure did! Doesn't it look fantastic!"

Then the girl went back to laying out snacks. Kinya rubbed her eyes and nodded, saying, "It's very nice...but when I gave you permission to stay up passed curfew, that's not what I had in mind..."

Lyra didn't seem to hear her.

Sighing, the Headmistress walked over to the table wear an assortment of dresses were laid out. She blinked at them, and said, "Lyra, I don't know if--"

"Oh! The dresses! Yeah, you're here, I might as well get you to put yours on..."

"Put...mine...on..." Kinya stuttered, running her fingers through her hair. "Lyra. Did you ever notice that I wear a black coat, black pants, AND black gloves everyday? Have you ever wondered why?"

Lyra looked up at the woman and said, "The coat because you get cold easily, the pants to show off your figure, and the gloves because you have this thing about dirt?"

Kinya blinked at Lyra for a moment, wondering how ditzy this girl was, and inhaled deeply before exhaling with, "No."

Lyra tilted her head at the woman.

"I'm not wearing a dress."

Lyra immediately clasped her hands together and squeaked, "Please? Everyone else will be, you won't be the only one looking super cute!"

Kinya stared down at the girl, her eyebrows twitching.

Of course, she gave in.

"HOORAY! Here, put this one on!" Lyra smiled, thrusting a dress into the woman's arms. "You can change in the bathroom in the Main Hall!"

And with that, Lyra went back to putting out snacks. Kinya's eyes wandered over to the pile of Mountain Dew cans, and thought,
"Yup. That would explain it."

Kinya quickly changed into the dress, but did she dare look at herself. Slowly turning towards the mirror, she had to hold back a scream of terror. Well, not really, but she was definitely shocked. Pink and frilly, was the dress. With bows, lace...the works. It was probably the most ridiculous dress on the table...Kinya groaned. It might've looked alright if it weren't for her mask...actually, no. This dress wouldn't look alright on anyone.

The woman shuffled out of the room and quickly sat at a table, grumbling, "I look stupid."

Lyra glanced at her and grinned, saying, "Stand up! Let me have a look!"

Kinya did as she was told, did a quick turn, and then crossed her arms. Lyra blinked.

"Wow. You're right." she said nervously. Lyra hated to admit it, but the Headmistress really DIDN'T look good in frilly things. Oh well, it was for a good cause.

"It's only for a few hours." Lyra smiled. Kinya groaned and then plunked back down in her chair.

Now, Lyra just had to wait for everyone else. She quickly checked her phone, reading all of the messages...huh. Veronica hadn't messaged her back...geez, did she change her mind about the auction?

Lyra pushed the thought aside and dropped her phone back into her bag, continuing to lay out food.

~Nurse Elsa Longstorm~

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP...

Elsa groaned, slamming her fist onto her alarm clock as hard as she could, half hoping she'd break the thing.

"Damn alarm clock...destroyer of sleep..." she mumbled, rolling over and pulling her covers tightly around her. She was just having the sweetest dream...about Ryuu, of course. She'd never admit it, of course, but she saw him often in her dreams, whether it was something crazy and obscure or something dreadfully sweet. In this particular dream, he was just...holding her. Neither of them said anything. Elsa cursed at her alarm clock for putting an end to that incredible moment.

Then, she remembered the events of the night before. Elsa wanted to kick herself for crying...and for no reason, too! Well...there probably was a reason. A reason Elsa refused to accept. She kept on telling herself she was crying tears of joy...but there was something else. She was too tired to try to think about it.

The woman hated not even having her weekends off from work, and always had to wake up super early. The only days she had off were the ones where Elsa would actually go and ask Giovia. Most of the time, she was given the days she asked for...but Elsa, though she would deny it until the end of the Earth, didn't like asking Giovia for days off, because that would mean the Professor would have to watch the infirmary.

Letting out a long yawn, Elsa sat herself up and touched her bare feet to the floor. She couldn't help but imagine how different her morning would be with Ryuu sleeping right next to her...

Hell, she'd probably want to wake up.

The woman stood and quickly dressed herself. Unlike yesterday, the woman was wearing a pair of simple, black pants and a tight button up shirt. After eating one of the apples from her fridge, Elsa quickly brushed her hair and teeth. Now, the reason why she gave up the extra hour of sleep in the morning...

Her makeup.

She used up every moment of her makeup time, making sure her foundation and concealer was perfectly blended, choosing the perfect shade of brush, carefully flicking the mascara brush across her lashes...of course, none of this makeup made her feel any better about herself...but as long as she looked alright.

Quickly grabbing her cell phone, Elsa decided to text Ryuu.

To: Ryuu <3

Subject: Movinnnnng :D

Hey! What day works for me to bring all of my crap over?

Message Sent

She had said it so casually...Elsa smiled at the message, and put her phone back into her purse. It didn't seem like it, but she really was excited to be living with Ryuu. She couldn't wait to have someone to snuggle as she fell asleep, she couldn't wait to have someone to blame her messes on, she couldn't wait to have someone to cook for...

She couldn't wait to have someone to kiss every morning.

Listing the amazing perks of living with someone in her head on the entire walk to the infirmary, Elsa was completely oblivious to everything around her until she almost walked right into the door of her workplace. She gave a nervous laughter, looked around to make sure nobody saw, and unlocked the door to the infirmary and stepped inside.
