Fantasy Hawthorne Academy

Shinji never thought this girl could be so talkative since she seemed so quiet earlier but it was a nice feeling, at least she wasn't scared of him anymore,"It's fine. It's cute that you're able to talk so much." Shinji comment,"I wouldn't mind going outside if you're up for it." Shinji added, accepting her offer to go outside but before they could even go, something or someone came into collision with his back, glancing behind him to see who it was, he noticed red hair, already knowing who the person was,"Mr. Secretary, what the big rush?" Shinji asked turning around to see him fully on the floor but only to get scolded at for blocking his way,"Ah~ Sorry about that, should have watched where I was going." Shinji said apologizing for no reason since it was not his fault but he took the blame anyways.

Not noticing the faint, pinkish color on Blake's cheeks, Shinji held out his hand for Blake to take,"How about getting up now or do you need me to carry you?" Shinji said teasingly.

-Calista and Kuro will be posted soon... braindead again...-

Emma blushed a bit more, never hearing a comment like that. But quickly, the blush faded away and she pushed away her schoolgirl crush. No way was she going to crush on people. She rather keep people at distances. She did here something shuffle and fall on the floor. It was possibly another person in the hall. By the sound of it, it had to be someone Shinji knew. Right now, she really didnt wish to stay around. She just wanted to get outside and take a breather. Turning from the people, she peeked from her blindfold and put it back down, starting to walk away.

Blake narrowed his eye at Shinji who apologized, even though admittedly Blake was the one who bumped into him.

That bastard's even mocking me...

Blake being Blake took it as an insult rather than a sincere apology. Eyeing his hand wearily Blake caved in and grasped it, his blush getting progressively worse even though he was giving it his all to not blush. The first thing Blake noticed when he made contact with Shinji’s hand was how big his hand was, it was sort of comforting...the second was how he could have sworn he felt a wave of...something as soon as he made contact with his skin The reason why it was a 'something' was because Blake had no idea how to describe it. Pulling himself up Blake brushed invisible dust from his pants while giving Shinji a glare. He was too tired to think of an insult, which was a rarity, and instead opted to just give him a nasty look. A headache was also forming because the world just loved him making him put a hand to his temple in exasperation. Noticing that the girl walk away Blake had a feeling she was either scared off or didn't want to deal with them, which made this like the girl even less.

(sorry it took so long to reply and sorry Britt for Blake's nasty attitude toward Emma and interrupting the moment ;- ;)

"Maybe you can go next, eh? Fighting fire with fire could be interesting...or incredibly stupid."

Mars chuckled at the suggestion. "I think I'll pass this time. I Want to practice a few things before fighting. Don't want to accidentally burn down the building, after all. I will watch this, though. Wouldn't miss a good fight for anything." He stepped off to the side before the fight started to watch. He didn't know what the girls power was, but it was obvious that Xavier wasn't going to go all out in the fight. If he did, the fight would probably be over in a second. Still, a fight was a fight, so it should be entertaining to watch.

Looking at the weapons they had chosen, he began to think about his weapon of choice, or more aptly put lack there of. Mars practiced unarmed combat when not using his powers. Even though he was very proficient with his flames and ability to control heat, he didn't like to rely on it. As far as a weapon went, he found them way too restricting. you needed to have a specific stance, account for the weight of the weapon, and can be limited if the opponent got too close. For example, he believed that the girls whip was a poor weapon, since it could be rendered useless if someone was an arms length away. With no weapon, he practiced disarming the other fighter and implementing counters aimed at knocking down his opponent. Since he wasn't very strong, he relied on grapples and hitting specific pressure points more than blunt punches. Of course, when not using a power of sorts, it all boils down to who has a better knowledge of their weapon and the ability to counter the others. Shaking his head, Mars focused on the match before him, watching with great intrigue.

Pulling Blake up was no trouble at all but Shinji was taken back to feel Blake's hand, perfectly fitting his and so warm, it felt almost like a baby's hand. Once Blake was up, he started throwing daggers at Shinji, looking away and trying to avoid the glares he got from him,"Seems Mr. Secretary is in a bad mood." Shinji thought but then noticed that Emma had decided to leave them, turning to watch the girl walk off down the hallways,"Ah... Emma-" Shinji called out slightly but she had already left them behind.

A sense of guilt swept over him for ignoring her and he didn't know what to do,"I'll apologize to her next time." Shinji thought and turned to look at Blake, a smile hidden in his mask. Deep down, he was quite happy that Blake came but he also was sad that Emma left, wanting to introduce her to him so she could have more friends since she seemed very lonely,"Hello Mr. Secretary, seems we keep on bumping into each other huh?" Shinji teasingly said, trying to start a conversation but he wasn't sure how to start one since the glares still kept coming at him.

Noticing Blake as he rubbed his temple, Shinji felt wary of his health, placing a hand over Blake's cheek to check his temperature if he had a fever or any of the sort,"Are you okay? Do you want to lie down in our room?" Shinji asked, already knowing that Blake was his roommate since the letter did told him so but he wasn't sure if Blake knew but he was the secretary, he should know about it too,"I'll be stuck with you for a long time." The thought of that made Blake happy that they would become good friends, not knowing what the warm feeling he was having inside meant something else.

But Shinji knew that he couldn't get too close with Blake, keeping himself in check and keeping a good distant from him, it was for the best, removing his hand away from Blake's cheek.

Walking down the hallways, Calista noticed a girl walking through the hallways, the familiar blindfold made Calista smile,"Oh, it's her! Umm... her name was... something." Calista thought not remembering what her name was and just decided to grab all the courage she had to make a chat with her, wanting to be friends. Running up to the girl, Calista waved but then remember that she was blind, mentally smacking herself,"Umm... H-h-hello, I-i'm C-c-calista... F-from Prof Eriwind's c-class." Calista stated, stuttering a bit but luckily she was able to make a sentence at the least, hoping the girl would remember her... the one who made such a commotion during the introduction.

----------

Kuro watched as the two ran off back inside, the ice disappearing,"At least he was able to stop her." Kuro thought and jumped off the tree, not sleepy anymore to take his usual naps,"Great... now I have to find something to do." Kuro thought annoyed and decided to bother Calista again though that would be bad. he didn't care since he really did need her help in soothing him so he could sleep,"I really am selfish." Kuro thought, sadly chuckling at how stupid he was, running back into the school to find Calista so he could sleep.

-braindead is gone! ... a bit.. ;w;-

Sora was entranced at John's playing. She didn't know what the song was, yet if felt emotional. She snapped out of it when she noticed a female enter the room. Sora looked at her, long brown hair, grey eyes, she looked cute. Sora sould see how enchanted she was at John's playing.

She kept quiet and just looked at them, John playing the piano, Geno accompanying the melody with his violin and the girl just standing there, watching. They looked like something you'd see in a music instrument commercial.

Now Sora was wondering just who the girl was, and what was her reason for coming here in the first place?

Emma stopped when she heard a girl speaking. Obviously, she wanted to talk to Emma because she felt the girl come near. "..Calista..Yeah I remember you." she spoke "I'm Emma. I hope you're okay from what happened in class...I heard you fall..But I dont know if you were hurt or not." she hoped that she wasnt injured...

~Professor Xavier Caige~

Xavier almost smirked as the whipped snapped around the handle of his battleaxe. The girl had good reflexes, yes, but what was agility when it was time to fight? Of course, she wasn't able to knock the teacher off balance...actually, the only thing her quickness did was save her from a blow to the shoulder and set herself up for a violent kick to the legs.

"Nice try - But maybe you should work on your aim!" The girl taunted as she cracked her whip onto the floor. Xavier couldn't help but chuckle as he said back, "Sweetheart, it's gonna take a lot more than a few quick moves to beat me, ya know."

As he uttered those words, he launched himself forward and skid across the floor, expertly sweeping a leg underneath the girl's legs. He was semi-impressed...usually he would fight at this level for all of the students, which was of course only half of what he could do, but none of them usually made it this far. He remembered when he was fighting Lyra, and before they even started she was on her knees and waving a little white flag.

Of course, it was a wise move on her part. She knew that she would get horrible injured if she even let the match start...Xavier almost admired that about a person. Xavier was never one of those people who knew when to quit, and it usually bit him in the butt later. He just didn't know how to accept defeat, or the fact that he might've been wrong about about something.

He couldn't accept that.

~Nurse Elsa Longstorm~

Elsa was about to ask Nichole if she was alright as she stirred, but before she could, the girl was off. Nichole was obviously still upset about the whole 'I-don't-like-tarts' ordeal. Why, though? Sure, it was her brother who had made the tart that Elsa had thrown away, but why bother getting so upset over it? It was just a stupid tart, after all...but if she wanted to be angry with her, that was her own business. Elsa wasn't going to try to 'set things right'. It wasn't her problem.

Once again, Elsa went back to the first aid rooms to try and clean up. She just prayed that there wasn't some freak accident that would need her full attention again. She carefully scrubbed things down, put the medical supplies away, and finally she was done cleaning up the mess from LYRA, which was HOURS ago. Thinking about Lyra, the nurse couldn't help but feel guilty. Maybe the girl really had a thing for that Johnathon guy, and Elsa was making her feel bad...she would apologize later.

But for now, she had to clean up the puddle of water made from the stupid cloth she had given Nichole.

Nichole sighed and the water turned to ice again. Nichole rubbed her head and blinked. "Ouch." She shook it off and went into the music room. Nichole blinked looking around seeing a lot more people.

Kouji rubbed his chin and wrote down some stuff. He bit his lip and said"crap If she keeps losing control. " he had to find the headmistress and fast and tell her what happened.

Maria Scarlette

Maria gasped as her legs were swept off the ground. In a panicked frenzy, Maria fumbled her whip for a moment, then lashed the whip against a wooden support on the ceiling and tugged on the whip with all her strength. She was flung forward, her legs just passing over Xavier's head - She retracted her whip and landed on her feet, her whip lying limp against the ground. After landing, she turned around and looked at her legs - They were shaking and already becoming incredibly sore... But she was off of the mat. Noticing that felt much worse than the pain in her legs.

"Well," Maria sighed, "I lose. You're really strong, though..." Maria gasped and fell back as her legs gave out, landing on her back. "Really, really strong! I don't think I've ever been beaten that fast," Maria laughed a bit, a smile spread across her face.

Mirabelle Ami

Ami yawned and looked around, desperate to find someone to talk to at this point, though not showing it at all. Suddenly Ami heard music and talking down the hall, which seemed to be a good enough sign. She walked over to the music room door and opened it. She peeked her head in and looked around. "Hey - Is anyone here? Oh..." Ami's question was already answered - About five people were in the music room, talking and playing instruments. "Hi, I'm Ami - Would anyone here mind showing me around the school? I just got here..."

~Professor Giovia Eriwind/Headmistress Kinya Weatherstone/~

Giovia sighed as she sat by the unconscious girl...maybe she shouldn't have called Vasilisa. The woman, after all, was pretty terrifying...though Giovia honestly didn't think the girl would FAINT. She checked the clock on the wall...it was almost time for dinner and the student party. Kinya and Veronica would be coming soon...but what could she do with this girl?

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Standing up, Giovia went to go answer the door. She was half expecting Veronica, but instead, Kinya stood at the door, arms crossed.

"Is Veronica here yet?" the woman asked as she strode into the room. "Do you think she forgo--"

The Headmistress stopped in the middle of her sentence upon seeing the unconscious girl on the couch. Both of her mismatched eyes widened, and she looked absolutely horrified. She said nothing, and turned back towards Giovia.

"What is she doing here?!" the Headmistress snapped, her tone pure anger. Giovia blinked at the Headmistress, and stuttered, "Vasilisa scared her, and the girl fainted...you see, she was writing--"

"I don't CARE what she was doing!" the Headmistress yelled. "Get her...g-g-get her out!"

At that moment, the girl's eyes opened and she mumbled, "Ehh....? What happened...? What's all the shouting about...?"

Kinya gasped, and burst out of the office and back into the classroom. Giovia was about to go after the woman, when the girl said again, "Is that scary lady gone?"

Giovia, looking back at the girl, nodded and said, "Y-yes, she's gone. How are you feeling? What is your name?"

The girl sat up and rubbed her eyes, saying, "Kahra...Kahra Weatherstone."

Giovia wasn't sure if she heard correctly. Weatherstone, had she said? Giovia did remember the Headmistress saying that she had a younger sister who would be attending the school...

"A-are you Kinya's sister?" Giovia asked. Kahra nodded and said, "Yeah...I've been looking for her all day...have you seen her?"

Giovia paused. Kinya had just burst out of the room to AVOID this girl...

"U-um, not since this morning." the Professor lied. "Well, if you're feeling better, the student party is starting soon, so..."

Kahra stood up and smiled.

"I see. I am sorry about writing on your board." she said, giving a slight bow of the head. "I...I was hoping it might get the Headmistress's attention...oh well!"

And with that, the girl skipped out. From what Kinya had told her, her sister was fourteen years old and possessed the power of manipulating the elements of the periodic table. Interesting.

Kinya entered the room again not long after Kahra had left, and she asked, "Did you cover for me?"

Giovia rolled her eyes and nodded.

"Why are you avoiding her? She told me she's been looking--"

Suddenly, there was another knock. Giovia opened the door, and Kinya hid in case it was Kahra. But it was Veronica. Giovia smiled and ushered the girl in, saying, "Oh, good you're here. Kinya, it's safe, it's just Veronica."

The Headmistress's head popped up from behind the couch and she quickly stood up, brushing her self off as she coughed, "Uh, yes. Very good. How are you feeling, Veronica? Have a seat."

Blake watched Shinji call out to Emma as she left. He clenched his hands in envy but a wave of shame also washed over him at the same time

What is up with me today?

Rolling his eye at Shinji's attempt to make conversation Blake felt his headache progressively get worse, like someone was putting an immense pressure on it.

I have been stressed out lately...especially after I got a call from...him this morning…ya it’s probably just stress…

Blake froze when Shinji placed a hand on his cheek, not used to random contact. His hand was still warm and his touch seemed to send more sparks through his body. Half of Blake wanted to think that Shinji was actually worried about him as Shinji did sound sincere but the other half told him Shinji was just messing around. Blake thought the latter of the two was the most probable. When Shinji showed his concern Blake felt his blush become more apparent though it struck him right than that they were roommates. After all the events that happened Blake forget about the living arrangements of the school. Immediately Blake felt a number of emotions bubble up inside of him, confusion, disbelief, irony, and admittedly delight.

Out of all the people in this school...Shinji is my roommate...my god what are the chances?

"It's just a headache it will pass," Blake informed him, breaking the silence.

His headache however, was now almost splitting, it was hard to focus. Feeling disoriented Blake thought back to when Shinji asked if he was okay that bastard, acting like an attentive boyfriend....what a jerk.

"What are you playing at anyways?" Blake snapped. "Why do you keep jumbling up my emotions?"

Now swaying a bit Blake attempted to take a step forward but ended up stumbling instead.

(sorry it took so long to reply, I fell asleep at my computer .-.*has weird sleep cycles sometimes*)

The worry didn't crease when Blake reassured him, trying to at least be useful for Blake since he seemed stress to the point where he even got a headache. Trying to place a hand on his shoulder, Shinji was sudden dumbfounded at Blake was talking about,"What? Playing?" Shinji said confused and got even more confused at the next part,"Jumbling your emotions? Are you really okay Blake?" Shinji asked, using Blake's name now since it seemed necessary to.

Then Blake tried to move but instead he was falling, quickly, Shinji was able to catch him mid-air before he hit the floor, holding Blake in his arms,"Blake! Shit..." Shinji mumbled the last part and placed a hand over Blake's forehead,"You've must have stressed yourself too much, you got a slight fever now because of it." Shinji scolded but it was no time to scold him and putting his hand on Blake's back and leg, he picked him up bridal style, the scene almost as if Shinji was a knight taking up his princess or in this case, prince.

Not caring how weird it looked like for him to carry a guy, Shinji took Blake to their room instead of the nurse, not wanting to bother her now since it was free time and the fever wasn't all that serious, Blake just needed some rest. Shinji knew how to take care of people since he had people to watch himself, Calista and Kuro. Walking over to where the dormitories were, Shinji looked around for their room, finding their room finally and placing Blake down a bit so he could get the key to unlock the door.

Swinging the door open, Shinji walked into the little room, his stuff along with Blake's already unpacked and placed in their rightful spots. Going over to one of the beds, Shinji laid Blake down and pulled the blanket over him, moving a strand of hair away from his face,"You better sleep here until you're better, no buts." Shinji said before he could say anything to protest or any of the sort. Shinji was acting like a very protective boyfriend at this point, ordering Blake to do this and that.

Calista sighed in relief when the girl, who she finally now knows as Emma, said she had remember her, feeling pleased that she was also caring of her well-being. A blush formed on her cheeks, remembering the incident,"Ah... I'm fine! I was just being a klutz as usual." Calista said playfully hitting her head gently as a way to scold herself,"It's nice to meet you Emma. umm... were you going somewhere by any chance?" Calista said since Emma was walking somewhere alone by herself in the hallways with no one guiding her.

-Kuro will be placed another time...-

Emma nodded "Good Good.." she says "Its nice to meet you too." when she asked where she was going, she said "Just outside..." she informed her, wanting to go outside rather then stay inside, it bugged her way too much being inside "Want to lead me out? she asked, tilting her head slightly, wondering ig she'd want to join her.

Blake didn't catch any of Shinji questions, his head was too foggy to comprehend and process Shinji's confusion. He was so out of it that he didn't notice himself fall until Shinji caught him in his strong well-toned arms. By now he couldn't tell what was going on, much less protest against Shinji picking him up bridal style. Through Shinji's trek through the halls with him in his arms Blake only caught glimpses of the halls, his vision to hazy to really spot anything besides the halls and of course Shinji. Soon he found himself on one of the beds and a blanket on him while a hand gently pushed a stray hair away from his face. Gaining a bit of clarity Blake managed to make out Shinji again, instantly scoping out his handsome features as he said something about sleep.

"You bastard...I have no idea why I fell for you in the first place..." Blake mumbled.

Before he could even realize what he said sleep overcame him, pulling Blake into his first restful sleep in ages.

While playing with Blake's hair, Blake started to mumble things. Shinji didn't catch all of it but he did heard some words and then the picture became clear,"What?... Did I hear that right?" Shinji mumbled, not sure what was reality and what was not. Shinji could have swore he heard Blake just said he liked him but he could have meant something else like how he fell in front of Shinji,"It couldn't be..." Shinji continued to baffle himself with questions and conclusions.

Then he decided that Blake must have meant how embarrass he was to faint in front of him, disappointing himself when Blake really meant something else. Looking down at the sleeping Blake with sad eyes, Shinji shook his head and sighed,"He couldn't like me. He hates my guts." Shinji told himself,"Don't get your hopes up Shinji." He scolded himself. Playing with Blake's hair some more, Shinji stared at Blake's sleeping face, his hand moving down to rub against Blake's cheek.

Then Shinji pulled his mask off, placing it on the bed and his face now visible for anyone to see but his long bangs covered his left eye and only his right side was able to be seen. Inching closer to Blake, his lips hover over Blake's inches away, with just one push and they would have offical kissed but there was no one to make this possible. Staring down at Blake who still slept soundly under Shinji, their nose slightly touched as Shinji came closer, his lips then brushed against Blake's slightly but Shinji backed away quickly, regaining his consciousness and figuring out what he was really doing.

Placing his hand over his lips, his face was painted with a cherry pink color. Grabbing his mask and quickly placing it over his face, he got up from the bed,"Good night Blake." Shinji said and went over to the desk, grabbing a book along the way. He decided to stay, just in case Blake needed anything, reading the book he got that Calista lend him. The book was about stars and stuff, myths and etc that Calista was very fond of and wanted to share with Shinji, Shinji gladly accepting her books since he liked them as well.

"Oh outside?" Calista said and looked around before looking back at Emma with a smile, surprised to be invited to come along. With a smile that could touch both her ears, Calista took Emma's hand and nodded,"Sure! I would love to." Calista said happily but blushed at how energetic she was being,"Ah.. I mean yes please." Calista corrected herself and guided Emma outside, leading her to the benches,"Here we are. Would you like anything else?" Calista asked but then she noticed something off about Emma, an imaginary gloomy cloud floated over her head,"Are you by any chance okay?" Calista asked out of the blue, wanting to know why the girl was so sad.

Running through the hallways, uro was trying to find Calista when he heard a song, music being played not far from where he was. Being enchanted by the soft melody, his body moved on it's own and started to follow after the melody, the feeling as if he was being carried off my the music. Before Kuro knew what he was doing, he was already standing at the door of the music room where a group of students were, playing with some instruments. Looking up at them, he mewed softly now knowing what trouble he gotten himself into now and tried to hide but he couldn't, he was already spotted for all the students to see the little black cat.

Emma was surprised when the girl took her hand and started to lead her outside. Normally, having someone grab her hand and drag her out like this..She'd pull away. But, Calista was just being nice, and Emma allowed it. They came to a bench and she sat down "No its okay." she smiles softly before she asked if she was ok "Yeah, I'm fine, dont worry." she smiles, trying to hide the sadness behind it. Hiding the emotions that wanted to show. Never did she want anyone to see her cry. Or throw a fit. Emma was just one of those girls to hide what she felt. Keeping distances from everyone. Even her parents..

Nichole walked around and said hello to everyone. She sat down in a chair and took out her lyric book. Nichole started to make a beat to fit it by tapping her fist on the table."hmmm ooohh yea~" Nichole nodded and smiled keeping up the beat. She nodded looking at her lyric book wondering which song to see. Nichole smiled and then saw a song that was close to her heart in that book. "Um hey guys?" She asked looking around the room

Sora heard a faint mew coming from out the door. She stood up, not bothering to disturb the others. 'A kitten?' She wondered. She reached for the door and found a black cat at the door. She crouched down and started petting him. "Well hello Mr. Cat, were you the one meowing?" She asked him, scratching the cat under its chin. "I'm Soraphine, and what would your name be?" She asked again and let out a giggle. "Silly me, you wouldn't be able to answer me." She picked him up and sat in the hallway, the cat in her lap.

"You're such a beautiful cat, even if you might be a male." She said, smiling at the cat while stroking its back. She stayed there, stroking the cat and listening to John play on the piano.

Mars sighed as the fight ended. Not as fun to watch as I thought. He was disappointed the fight ended so quickly, though he suspected as such. Most fights against Xavier lasted this long, even shorter some times. The girls biggest problem in the fight was that she didn't anticipate and only went off of what she saw. The key to winning was guessing what your opponent is going to do next and reacting accordingly. Left wanting after watching, He let out another sigh. I can always practice later. After staying in place for a minute, Mars put both hands behind his head and strolled over to Xavier. He nodded to the girl who had just fought as to acknowledge her, then spoke to the teacher.

"That was as impressive as always. Of course, you're the one in charge of teaching everyone how to fight, so it is to be expected. That fight really left me..." Mars paused, scouring his brain for a way to say 'wanting' without being offensive to the girl. "...exhilarated. In fact, if you don't mind, I think I'll take you up on your offer to battle. Of course, outside would be preferred so we decrease the risk of burning down the school." He chuckled lightly. Mars always saw himself as the best student fighter that has been at the school since he has been there, but whether or not that was true was a completely different story. "So, are you up for it?"

~Kahra~

As Kahra left the classroom, she couldn't help but let out a long sigh. She had only been at the school for about eight hours and she already felt like she had failed. Her parents strongly objected her going to the school, but the girl was determined to find out more about her sister...surely she couldn't be the monster that her parents made her out to be. Fourteen years...and she knew almost nothing about her own sister.

The girl plunked down onto a bench and groaned.

"I, surely, didn't do anything wrong." she muttered, setting her backpack on the ground beside her foot. She leaned back and looked up at the sky...it was a beautiful day, definitely. The girl closed her eyes and sighed once again.

(Shortest post ever...)

"Hi there, you look a bit lost. Not lost lost, as in lost in this school, but just...lost. Need any help?" A voice popped out in front of Kahra.

Aleks, shouldering his belongings. After he had left Crysta's office, Aleks had wandered the school, admiring it's location and enjoying the beautiful day. He had dropped off his essentials at his dorm room (He had hoped to meet his roommate but he or she was nowhere to be found) and only had his backpack with his school supplies. As he wandered the school he noticed a a girl, looking rather lonely and lost. A lost that was more within herself rather than outside.

Aleks smiled at Kahra.

"Oh I'm sorry. I didn't introduce myself. I'm Aleksander Denucio, it's a pleasure to meet you."

~Kahra~

Upon hearing the slightly accented voice, Kahra glanced up. She blinked at the boy, and shook her head.

"N-no, I'm not lost." she said, hopping up from the bench. "Just thinking...well, not really thinking. Relaxing, I suppose...well, I do think. A lot. But I don't OVERTHINK, you know? I was just sitting there not thinking about...much...um...well, that's not true, a lot is on my mind actually...oh, my name is Kahra! Kahra Weatherstone! It's so good to meet you!"

It was amazing how quickly the words spilled from her mouth, and it would be even more amazing if someone could understand what she was saying. The only things that one MIGHT get from her rambling would be, "No, I'm not lost...thinking...relaxing...overthink...sitting here...Kahra Weatherstone."

The girl smiled back at the boy and tilted her head.

"Aleksander...Denucio? That is Italian, isn't it?" she asked.

Johnathon continued with the piece, his eyes closed. Clair De Lune wasn't one of his all-time favorite pieces of music, but the song still managed to give him goose bumps whenever he heard it. More than anything though, it was good practice, and for John, it was the perfect leap into piano after a month's involuntary break. He had been traveling before arriving at Hawthorne, and as everyone knows, pianos aren't portable. At least, not in the sense you could stuff one into a backpack.

His ears perked when the soft and soothing notes of a string instrument lifted the air. Smiling slightly, Johnathon opened his eyes and looked about. Almost immediately they fell on Geno, who was quietly adding to the song with a violin. He nodded towards the boy respectfully. Collaboration, he thought, could be nice. The violin and piano, especially, lent themselves to collaboration quite well, and even as a boy John had always loved both instruments. Of course, the piano was still the king of all instruments in his mind, but an old interest to learn others returned to him.

The last few notes of the song came, and as Johnathon brought it to a close, he slowed the pace ever so slightly, adding a delicate touch. As the last note sounded out, he smiled softly, then looked up. The room had fallen into a tranquil silence, and upon seeing it, Johnathon felt slightly awkward. He hadn't meant to derive all attention to himself. Geno, Sora, Lyra, and another person at the door, had been watching him. Had they never heard Clair De Lune before?

For an attempt to act natural, Johnathon took his smoldering cigarette from its place and popped it into his mouth. Then, mentally holding up fingers, he counted: Geno, Sora, Lyra, and-- wait, Lyra? Doing a double-take, John's jaw dropped slightly as he witnessed the girl standing before him. During the moments that drew out like minutes, he simply stared at her blankly, a small trail of smoke rising from the butt of his cigarette.

"Hey . . . Lyra,"
he said abruptly, scratching the side of his head, nearly as if he didn't process the fact that it was her until now. Wow, did he feel stupid.

(I hope I didn't leave anything out!)

Veronica walked into the office. It was quite clean. Considering the healing teacher, it had to be quite the cleanest. Other than that, veronica wasn't used to medical tools and a room like this. Considering her vampiric health. She usually didn't have to worry about sickness or even death considering her immortality. Death. At least she wasn't dead. That was the main thing to be thankful for. Considering how fast this curse was taking her body, she was hoping that nothing would happen. She had to start enjoying life a lot more.

"I'm doing fine I guess. It's not hurting as much since I got the pain killers....but..." Veronica looked up to see the headmistress' concerned face, waiting her response. Veronica tried to make it easier by going further into the room and sitting down. She looked at the headmistress again. "See, something strange happened...I was just having a normal student council meeting and we were talking about the tea party we were supposed to be having. Suddenly the idea came up to bid the girls off to a boy for a date that day, since we're allowed into town." Veronica tried to say as she felt slightly awkward for telling the plans so directly.

"I know what you're thinking. 'knowing Veronica, she would have stood against the idea' but I felt something strange. Something that made me want the bidding. I felt...well... love... sort of. It felt like I wanted love. Like I was supposed to have a date that day. Then suddenly, my arm felt a little bit better. It was as if the curse had moved from my arm. But such a tiny bit that I couldn't know if it was truly moving or if it was just my imagination". She rubbed her arm and sat back in her chair, still contemplating what she had experienced in that room.
