Contemplating a post for my Rosier OC, but uncertain of what to post. I imagine he'd be a bit too far out of Dantes music festival to move over that way from his compartment.

Amplifier too? Hmm... Your Dante is near the back end, correct? Figuring distance between Zedricks section to Dante and James. Least I think James was still there, yes?
James is there, yes. The door's also wide open thanks to him, so really that sound can travel pretty damn far.

Not so sure about that. If it's that loud then people will be complaining.

Also my characters are towards the front of the train. So many cars between, even with such volume.. and the door to their compartment is shut too. Lol

In my previous job history and experience with apms, even small ones, unless the amp has a spell on it, small amps are not that loud. Maybe 12 to 23, but even all the way up, no ones ears would bleed, the speaker would blow out if used at that level over many times... you would be surprised how fast amps crap out on ya. They would still make sound, but the sound would be dull and cranky, or fuzzy.. still dulled out.

On top of that. Small speakers won't go past it's own car unless the doors are open that separate the cars.

.... if enchanted.... then it's a different story... but there was nothing said about the amp being enchanted... unless I missed something somewhere.

Pending on how many compartments as I forget that small detail. Plus the sound range and Zedricks compartment door being shut, might be able to make it work, I think Zedrick is in the middle section, so right between Novass's character and yours.

Hmm... Back to square one possibly. Might be able to find another reason for Zedrick to travel from compartments though.

Oh, I never said it could go that loud. I was implying that if your characters at the front could hear it, then it would be sufficiently loud for James' ears to be bleeding from it. (Not to mention Dante's, given how sensitive his ears can be)

Nah, it's not enchanted with anything that would attract Muggle attention like being abnormally loud. At most, it's just got some charms on it to keep him from accidentally blowing the speaker mid performance. Granted, my experience with amps is fairly limited (I've only ever owned one) I was operating on the assumption that, since his door was open, and the train likely employs some charms of its own to block out the noise outside, there'd be plenty of reason for the sound to travel rather far.
 
Does anyone know how to do a hosted projector rather get it accepted?
Since the last update/change it now has a "apply here" section under the quest logs area on the main page. I've never seen the private apply area myself, but I know thats where to go.

I assume it's main requirement is just having enough posts that reach over 250. But not sure what the application itself looks like haven't done one since the update.
 
Ok sio would it be easier to move us along so that the rp doesn't stall? Also Should I tag everyone to see if they are getting notifications?
 
Well, I am waiting for the other two to post before I move my characters to the prefect cabin/compartment area for the meeting.

That's up to GM discretion if we get shuffled along. I'm not against it. I'm anxious to get things going and I don't see too much important(i.e. character/plot defining) stuff happening on the Hogwarts Express. That is, unless the DADA club idea originates on the train. Though, I think that would be more likely to come up once everyone realizes just how diluted the DADA classes are going to be.

For now though, I'm waiting for a response from James.
