Felissa would be mortified to remember that but would coldly shrug it off to keep appearances up.

Well, she would likely offer their housing for him so that he has a roof to stay under for summer and whatnot. After all, with the ever decreasing number of the Boyle family, they wouldn't mind another addition. Especially since when the year is over (and Morgana is hopefully defeated), they would be off to work and they'd be more than happy to help him out until he can get a stable enough job.

Given that they grew up with the thought of helping drilled into their brains, I doubt that would happen. Should it be found out by the enemies, however, is another story entirely.
I doubt anyone can really understand how much that would mean to Dante. True, I doubt she'd be the one to rat him out, but that won't stop the initial fear when people start finding out. May even turn into a full blown panic depending on how much is revealed at once and to how many people. Odds are, he won't take people finding out very well, especially at first.

As for a stable job, the tough part is figuring out what kind of job he'd want to do given the opportunity. He'd like to be an Auror, but he's quite convinced that, even in good times, they wouldn't be inclined to take a werewolf, same with a professional Quidditch player. The tough part for him is finding either a) a job that won't ask too many questions or b) a job that doesn't mind werewolves (good luck with that one...)

Yeah, I get why he's scared. Anyone would be if their secrets are laid bare on a silver platter to someone else. It'd take a whole lot of convincing for Dante to believe her, but Felissa would just prove that she wouldn't say anything to anyone - even her brother.

If Remus is to be taken as an example, the only stable job he could find was at Hogwarts - and that was before people found out that he was a werewolf. Even with the new laws that would allow werewolves to work alongside others without much repercussion, I imagine that it would still be really hard to find one that actually followed the law.

Basically the thought process I'm following. Dante would likely be terrified of her until he is convinced she won't tell. Once convinced, though, she'll likely never find anyone as loyal as Dante.

It's sad, but really true that finding someplace that'd legitimately follow the law is difficult. Unfortunately for him, they can play it off as numerous other valid reasons for not hiring him. (i.e. he has no references, no family that can vouch for him, no permanent address, no work experience, etc) So enforcing the law in his favor becomes nigh-impossible. One of the reasons he works so ungodly hard at everything he does (how extreme he takes this will be shown later) is because of the hope that he can be good enough where people can forget he's a werewolf.

And Dante would likely find out that you would find no better hider of secrets than Felissa.

Well, if everything goes well, I imagine having the small not of having been part of the group that toppled the Dark Witch - releasing her hold on Hogwarts (and probably the Ministry) would be quite a nice addition to his resume. Besides, after all that, he would likely have friends that would try and help out - like giving him a permanent address, for one.

That would, of course, give him quite a viable boost, provided the others vouch for him. Otherwise people may just accuse him of stealing their glory. Of course, having friends to help him out would also be a big plus. But all of that is assuming the Dark Lady is toppled this year. For all we know, this could take a couple of years, with those graduating forced into hiding until she can finally be toppled. Or the Dark Lady could just refuse to graduate people unless she deems them sufficiently indoctrinated to her cause.

Really, there's a thousand ways this could go, and not all of them point to a happy ending.

I'm actually quite looking forward to seeing how and when this would end. After all, both of my characters are one year away from graduation and with her looming around - they're in real danger. Especially since they would join the future DA. Can you imagine how fun it would be if this lasted for more than a year (in RP terms anyway)? Graduating students sneaking in to plan with the others and whatnot. Quite exciting to think about.

Sneaking in, sneaking out, some flee the castle while others stay and defend those that can't run.... Oh it could get brilliantly interesting and horrifically tragic depending on how things play out. It's gonna be exciting to see where things go, to be sure!

Indeed it will be! The battles would be so fun to write. Oh if only I knew how to do animations...

Don't even get me started.... I have so many ideas for animations that would be amazing, but no talent with which to execute it... The struggle is real!

Then, of course, there's all the dramatic scenes where one character gets injured in a horrific fashion and may or may not survive.

.... I'm not the only one that plans to have their character harmed, maimed, brutalized or otherwise in severe pain, right?

I know. I have friends who can execute it (though crudely, it would still be awesome) but sadly, they're not going to spend days working on something that's in my head.

Actually... no. I was planning on putting forward one of my characters to be harmed, even tortured if it gets to that. It would be oh so fun to write and see what kind of reactions it would elicit from other characters.

Yay! I'm not the only person that's horrible to their characters! XD

I swear, I don't think I've ever gotten through an RP without my character getting at least one major scar during the course of events... Inevitably, my characters usually wind up tortured, beaten, bloodied, or otherwise rekt as part of their development. It challenges their views, their resolve, and even their relationships with other characters. Not to mention it's always intense to write x3

Heh.. I know that feel... *flicks on a light in a closet that's had an undetectable extension charm placed on it so that hundreds of carefully organized file cabinets can form multiple columns within* I've got everything from Agitated Acromantulas to Zealous Zombies and everything in between on my radar.

Hey everyone! Sorry for my brief absence, had to travel for thanksgiving and wasn't really doing much of anything in regards to posting~

No holidays for me... But I am cooking on Wednesday.

I might post again but then I'll be rping with myself. lol.... But just for fun I might do so. (^_^)
Well... If you need interaction there's basically a rock show going on in the back car that could potentially be something to look into lmfao

Just realized Mad Eye Moody's actor Brendan Gleasons son portrayed Bill Weasley in Harry Potter. Years later & I'm still finding out new things about the series. ^^
