Burr glared at Maria and took out his phone. She knows you have a girlfriend. Don't fall for it. Don't get distracted. Burr texted Hamilton. He wasn't going to allow Hamilton to ruin his relationship with Eliza. That's not what friends did. If this continued he wasn't going to go to Eliza, but he would probably go to Angelica...she was scary enough to frighten anyone into submission. He sat down a few seats from Hamilton. He was going to see if he could eavesdrop.

Alexander stood up and followed Burr. He sent Washington a venomous glare as he passed, walking into the hall. "What's up, Burr?" Hamilton asked impatiently.
