Realistic or Modern Haenghada High (CLOSED)

Test, work, study. Test test, study, work work, sleep. That was pretty much the order of Hyuun's new life. Usually one would have to go through several years of schooling before medical school, but being the prodigy Hyuun was he tested out of all of them. He immediately got placed with the top surgeon at Mount Auburn Hospital to train with. It was a whole Hell of a lot to expect from a freshman, especially a Freshman who spoke a different language. Thankfully Hyuun was fluent in English. He adapted pretty well. Well, besides moving away from his twin, best friend, and Yubin. He tried to keep in contact with Yubin, but it was just so awkward. He didn't want things to stop. He wanted to play games with her, but the only time he was at his apartment was a few hours of sleep before he was called into work or had to wake up for class.

His twin had a breakdown on him. So bad that he couldn't even comfort her. She crushed him. She didn't want to talk to him anymore, she told him how much she hated him. Hyuun didn't want to take away attention from Choi! She was the one that wanted to impress their parents, and yet Hyuun got all of his father's attention. He'd give it to Choi if he could, but she didn't even listen to him. It had been what, 8 months since they talked? If Yubin and Choi weren't the nails in the coffin then it was Yuri. She was a different person. She didn't seem happy at all. The few times they face timed she looked like she had been crying. Whenever he asked about it she ended the call and ignored him for a good week. Now it was a text every now and then from her...

What happened to all of them? Everyone had grown apart. Hyuun didn't hear about Yuri's mother passing until yesterday!

So there he sat, in the cafeteria of the hospital, staring down at his phone. Should he call her and send his condolences? They wouldn't mean anything to her at this point. God he wanted to talk to somebody. "Hey, Hyuun." He looked up from his phone to the director of the hospital and forced a small smile. "Doing okay?" "Fine, thank you." The director gave Hyuun a curious look before letting out a small sigh. "You know you have break soon. You should go home. We'll give you some time off of work. I just think it'll be good to get away for a while, reconnect with everyone at home. You have a twin, right?" Had a twin. Choi was a whole new person.... "Yeah, I'll think about that. Thank you." Overhead he heard a page. Hyuun-Soo Young to the ER. "I have to go. Good talk." Hyuun stood and pat the table before running off to the ER.

Why would he take a break? There was no one waiting for him at home anymore. He couldn't face Choi, not after what she had said to him.

"Oh of course!" Yubin let out the most fake laugh that she could muster as she leaned back in the plush chair and smiled at the television host. Since they won, it had been a little bit of a whirlwind for her. She had assumed she would end up in a girl group, but she actually got signed as a solo artist for now. Though it meant a whole lot of collaborations with other singers or rappers. It had been going pretty well too, minus missing her friends terribly... Well, and when they wanted her to do a song with G. Yubin outright refused, loudly and proudly. It gained her some respect from fans but it really pissed off her manager. Oh well, do not try to force her to do anything with that skeevy asshole. Especially not now that he was dating Choi.

Yubin reached up and ran her hand through her newly chopped locks. A while ago she had dyed it back to its natural brown but a few days ago she had gone and cut it up to her shoulders with a small bang. It made it easier to handle, especially when she had to run an annoyed hand through it every five seconds because of this whole G shit.

"You see, I go far back with this guy. We both went to Haenghada and everyone has those people they just don't mesh with and I'm not willing to sell out like that." There was no need to get into the dirty details, plus the story would be far too long for a twenty minute segment. "There are people out there I dream of working with, so if I am going to do something I'm going to do it right. I won't waste my time on a song that will be subpar because the artists don't get along." Yubin paused and gave a small smirk to the host once again before starting up, "And if I may, I'd like to send a very public note to my lovely manager and producers that I AM NOT COLLABORATING WITH G. I've told you this time and time again. The only way you will get me to do that song is if you listen to my friend I showed you."

Couldn't ignore that when she said it on live television huh.

The TV went to commercial and thankfully it was the end of Yubin's time. With a quick thank you and a wave, she made her way off stage only to find Lee giving her a disapproving look and her roommate clapping slowly with the stupidest grin on his stupid face. Oh yeah those two. "What, if I say it up there then they can't ignore me. Hyunn at least deserves that much. And you aren't you supposed to be on a plane?" Yubin raised an eyebrow at Minho, her biggest mistake, and groaned. Neither of them were ever actually in Seoul so they decided to just get an apartment together. Which was a terrible mistake. Minho was the biggest thorn in the side... but at least he was finally listening to her.

"And you." Her red painted lips spread into a small grin as she wrapped her arms around Lee's neck and placed a small kiss on his cheek. This whole relationship was pretty new but Lee was sweet enough, and understood her lifestyle. He would never be a best friend like someone else.... but they got along fine.

Yuri breaking up with Jin hit him like a sack of bricks to the stomach. It had just come out of nowhere and for really no reason. Yuri had told him that it was because he deserved better than her but that was in no way true. If anything, she deserved better! She wasn't that one mistake she made on stage, she was so much more than that; she was her caring personality, her hardworking attitude and her talent. If her life boiled down to that one mess up then his boiled down to cheating on Yubin.

Jin spent a lot of the rest of the year trying to talk to her, trying to get her to listen to him but nothing worked. She avoided him like the plague. And when it was announced that the girls won? Yuri was almost instantly gone. Jin was happy for her though... for all the girls really. It was better that they won. Jin was okay without the contract, it just meant he had to work harder to get noticed without the promise from Haenghada. Hell even Minho and Hoya would be fine. The only one that Jin felt terrible for was Hyunn, that boy wouldn't be given the chance to try harder, he would be shipped off by his father.

The first month or so after graduation included Jin sitting in his house alone most times, Yubin and Minho were always busy either with each other or with their careers, Rosee and Choi were off in their new group, Hoya was basically untouchable and Hyunn was in another country... Thankfully though he was pulled from his couch by Fei who got him a job as a teacher and mentor at Haenghada. It involved running some summer day camps for the students over break and that is where he met Ryn.

Honestly? Jin didn't think he would really love another girl at all let alone this quickly, but it had become apparent that Yuri wanted nothing to do with him and Ryn? They were pretty compatible. They both loved the school, the arts and performance in general. And Ryn was the more out going side of Jin, she was outspoken about things she was passionate about and she didn't let herself get stepped on, though otherwise she was rather gentle. Things with Ryn had moved very fast over the past year, she moved into his house, they rescued this stupid scraggly street cat they named Cat, and he proposed to her. Wedding planning was going awful though, but only because poor Ryn was always so busy, flying around to meet with all of her clients.

"Hey, just got home. The kids did pretty well on their midterm assignment. Oh! And Yubin made a total ass out of her producers, the link is online if you want to watch. Cat is fed and so am I! Send me a text when you're back at the hotel. Love you Ryn." Jin hung up the phone and fell back into his couch before picking up the orange cat and turning on the TV.

Okay so Ryn may or may not have been a terrible human being, but what girl would tell their fiance that the woman she worked for was his ex? Jin had never given the infamous ex a name but it wasn't hard to figure out. Ryn was close with Haenghada and knew Choi... and knew that Jin and Choi never dated. Girls tell their stylist everything. Yubin? Obviously not, she still came over for dinner from time to time. Rosee? No, she had heard all the drama about her and Hoya. It had to be Yuri. Of course it did! Why would life be so simple.

"Oh uh Miss Yuri!" Ryn swiftly picked up the black clutch from the vanity and held it out to the gorgeous girl with a slight smile, "Don't forget this, I think your room key is in there." It killed Ryn every single day. Jin was too much of a sweetheart to lie to but... what woman could ever be confident in comparison to that? Jin had said so many times that he just wanted to talk to her, figure out why. He was so insecure about it. And in honesty, it made Ryn insecure. What if her fiance wanted Yuri back? What if she was still interested?! Would Jin run back to her?

Ugh!

Her phone chimed in her pocket causing her to look down at the LED screen with a small smile, Jin. It was still crazy to her that this man and her were getting married after only a few months. But Ryn was probably the happiest she had been in a long time.... if it wasn't for lying to him.

"Where is your friend Rosee?!" One of their group-mates screamed at Rosee as they sat in their apartment together. The girls all lived in a large flat together, well except Choi. Choi lived upstairs with Yuri. This apartment was owned by the record company but for some reason Choi had gone and done her own thing... though Rosee could understand, she had a pretty shit end to the year. Rosee wouldn't even talk to Minho anymore because of it! What he did was downright evil. Though if she applied that label to him she would have to apply it to Yuri as well... Anyways.

Since winning, Rosee and Choi were added into a girl group that had been preparing for their debut over the past year to naturally, they were all friends. Rosee was starting to fit in a little but they were all still treating her like she was Choi's babysitter. "Listen, she knows what time to be here for the meeting. The producers won't even be here for another twenty minutes..." Hopefully. Rosee pulled out her phone and sent a quick SOS text message to Choi.

As far as Rosee? Not much had changed at all. Signature red hair, though slightly more Coke can red and slightly longer, same style, same makeup. Same boyfriend. Jung and Rosee had been going pretty solid since graduation! He had even gotten a better job in the city and moved her, though Rosee had to help him out a lot at first. And one of the girls said he was flirting with them at their signing party... but Jung was just nice! Some girls take that wrong right? I mean they had been dating this long! If he wanted someone else, he would just go with someone else! Kind of like Hoya. Hoya wanted something else... so he did something else. The thought actually made Rosee freeze for a moment, trying to keep her eyes from watering. It was just what happened when she thought about Hoya. She wasn't sad for herself... she was sad for him. Hoya deserved so much better than that life... but he let it take him over.

"Rosee?" Suddenly she was snapped out of her daydreaming and turned to her three group members, "Oh I sent her a text okay! It shouldn't be long. I'm sure she's on the way."

"I'm heading there right after this my dear dear roommate." Minho smirked at Yubin as she walked off stage and gave her a quick pat on the back before she moved her attention to Lee. It caused him to roll his eyes a little. Minho was still team Hyunn and always would be... plus Lee was really annoying. Though Minho supposed he probably was as well. Especially to Yubin... and Choi. It still killed him; breaking up with her that is. It wasn't even his idea, but he was sure it was for the best. Choi's manager was the one that had the idea, she had been refusing to work with any other guys and it was really messing with her group. So Minho needed to let her go. Let her be successful... Little did Minho know that letting her go would put her into the arms of G, but as long as she was happy he supposed.

Though letting her go completely destroyed Minho. Drinking. Drugs. Women. All of it, and he did it in large amounts. Whenever he wasn't filming for the drama, then he was off at parties or at some womans house. Or crawling home to Yubin and getting scolded by her as she put him to bed. She was the one that convinced him to go to the states to get help. And it was probably a good idea... though Minho still wasn't sure if he was going to the rehab center or if he was going to a house party he was invited to in the same area. He would decide when he got there he supposed.

"Alright. I'm off. Be good." Minho ruffled Yubin's hair before turning to return to the car that was waiting to take him to the airport and then finally to the states. Minho had tried to get a hold of Hyunn a few times, they would be in the same area so might as well see if the guy had time for a drink. AND TO LISTEN ABOUT THE GIANT MISTAKE THAT WAS NAMED LEE!

Once back in the car, Minho looked at his reflection in the window and sighed, watching the road move by. He looked different, his hair was a lighter tone and his style got a lot more eccentric. A gold bomber jacket, black joggers and a graphic t-shirt were on him now. Sunglasses hid his bloodshot eyes from the paparazzi that were sure to be waiting at the airport... they always knew where he was. That was the way his publicist liked it. Before stepping out of the car, Minho reached into his pocket and rubbed his thumb over the wearing away pieces of paper. He always had the coupon book on him. It was the only bit of comfort he got.

Yuri looked back at Ryn as she called out to her, her long lashes batting slowly. "Oh. Thank you." Yuri took the clutch and gave Ryn a small nod before going to her car. The driver held her door open for her and allowed her to slip in the back. Her phone chimed in the purse and made her sigh quietly. What now? Everything had become a bother lately. She was even losing her inspiration on stage for crying out loud... "Miss." Her driver looked back at her, telling her she should look at the message. "Right..." She pulled out the phone and seen a text from her manager with a link. Oh? She clicked on the link and seen Yubin, an honest smile forming on Yuri's lips for once. "Look at her go." She pressed play and started to watch the interview.

By the time she got to the hotel she had finished it, a small giggle passing her lips. She was talking about Hyuun, wasn't she? He had to watch this. Quickly she sent him the link, stepping out of the car as she clicked send.

She made her way up to her hotel room and opened the door with the key card, letting out a small sigh. Was it too early to go to bed? Get dressed, we're going clubbing. Oh. Well, apparently she was going clubbing with some of her tour buddies. Quickly she threw on a white shirt, a high waist black skirt, and a black leather jacket.

She wasn't the old Yuri anymore...she might as well make bad decisions. She'd been doing so ever since she broke up with Jin. The thought hurt her heart. Ryn. Going to a club. Sending a car for you.

With that sent Yuri made her way to her car, the car taking her to one of the hottest clubs in Germany.

Choi flipped up her sunglasses with a groan when she seen the text from Rosee. Shit! She had forgotten all about it. "Change of plans dude, take me to the meeting." "Already there, miss." She looked out the window as the car parked then looked to the driver. "Sneaky bastard." She smirked slightly before jumping out of the car and running inside. She looked a hot mess as she walked in, but what was new? She was the hot mess of the group...everyone needed one, right? Plus, at this point she was more model than singer. They only really kept her for the fans she brought to the table. Right?

"You guys think I wouldn't show?" She giggled quietly and crashed down onto one of the couches, kicking up her feet. Her hand ran through her hair slowly, letting out a small sigh. "They're always late, anyways. That gives me time to show up. Plus, my alarm didn't go off for some strange reason." The reason being she wasn't at home, but still. Her phone beeped and made her groan, her bloodshot eyes looking down at it. You know I love you, right? Oh, G must have slept with someone again. Only as much as I love you. Send.

Her relationship made her want to vomit. But G stayed with her no matter what. He said he loved her, but she still felt like Yuri was 'the one that got away' for him. Minho was hers. If you put two broken pieces together they'd make a whole piece, right? If only that's how that worked. As she scrolled through her social media she seen a tabloid saying something about Minho heading to the states. Her stomach turned, quickly shoving her phone deep into the purse. Stop thinking about him. He dumped you. He left you. You weren't good enough.

Choi grabbed a water bottle and took a quick drink, glad that the large sunglasses hid her watery eyes.

Lee was an effeminate pretty boy with a mysterious past he hadn't even revealed to Yubin yet. For his own reasons, of course. If he revealed it she would have never given him the time of day let alone date him. So there he stood, backstage with her and her roommate in the remnants of his lies. He stood at 6'0" with swoopy chocolate brown hair, dark brown eyes and pale skin. Both of his ears were pierced and he dressed very well, the complete opposite of Hyuun. Lee had a striped scarf wrapped around his neck, a black tight long sleeved v-neck, and black skinny jeans paired with converse. He wasn't a gamer, but he was a charmer. And, hey, he looked good right? He was funny, sweet, and loyal. Lee had a small tree symbol on his wrist, which he had covered by his shirts.

Lees secret was he was Yuri's twin, and his only way of possibly getting close to the untouchable famous singer was to get close to one of her close friends. So there he was, his hand wrapped delicately around Yubin with a small smile. "You know your manager is going to wring your neck, right?" He playfully teased her before glancing over at Minho. He used to date Yuri's best friend Choi. He educated himself on the whole group far too well, but he had Hoya to thank for that.

"Have a good time, Minho." Lee gave him a small wave before looking back down at Yubin. He felt bad deceiving her, but Lee was a ladies man. He could tell her heart wasn't too into their relationship. It didn't make him feel any better, but it didn't make him feel worse. "So. I say I take you out and treat you dinner for standing up for yourself on television. Candles, wine. The whole nine yards."

Another twelve hours in the ER, another 8 to go. Fortunately Hyuun finally got a chance to relax for thirty minutes. Being an ER surgeon in a college town seemed to be busier than he thought it would be. It didn't help that there were only three surgeons, and two of them were on vacation. That left him and the doctor he was following to do it all, constant long shifts. As soon as he got to the basement he laid down on one of the cots and stretched out. He was so wired on adipex, adderal, and energy drinks he couldn't sleep though. The med school trio they called it. You could stay awake for a week on that shit and still not feel tired. It wasn't the most healthy, but he did what he had to do to survive.

He had a couple missed text messages. A couple from Minho saying how he was headed to Cambridge and how they should hang, one saying he was in town, and the other asking him to hang. Hyuun scowled slightly. After what he did to Choi? No. Though, he still talked to Yuri. But that was completely different! She wanted Jin to find someone better, not that he could. She was one of the bests, probably the best for Jin. Minho was the thing that kept Choi grounded. After he broke up with her it wasn't too long before she completely shut out Hyuun.

Quickly he deleted the messages with a small huff, looking at the next one from Yuri. A link? 20 minutes. He had enough time. He clicked on the link and listened to it, his heart heavy and eyes watery. He missed Yubin. She was his best friend, he wanted her to be more. He wanted to win so he could be someone worthy of her. He wanted her to be proud of him. Yet here he was, hyped up on drugs, caffeine, and studying and working as a surgeon. She said that was still impressive, but he hadn't worked on a song since graduation. He didn't have time...

He scowled slightly after the interview was finished. Was she kidding with that shit? He had told her time and time again no. He didn't have time for that! Now what was he supposed to say if her manager contacted him?! Was she saying she wasn't going to record anything with anyone unless he did something with her first? Ugh...she was really putting him in a bad position. "Dammit..." Hyuun-Soo Young to the ER, Hyuun-Soo Young to the ER please. His break wasn't even thirty minutes! Ugh.

He jumped to his feet and walked up the stairs to the ER to meet the doctor. "Hey Ahmed." "Drunk accident, your favorite." Hyuun rolled his eyes and looked at the chart. Wait...what was the name of the patient? "Can I go look at it in person before they do the x-ray?" "Go for it. He'll probably need a couple screws, nothing too major." Hyuun gave a small nod before making his way to the room the patient was in.

Hoya took a long walk to clear his head. It was odd for him to be out in the open like that, but it wasn't odd for a man in a suit to be walking down the streets of Busan. Most people walked to work. Hoya was usually secluded in fancy cars and fancy places, so the fresh air was always nice and helped him clear his mind.

Before he knew it it was getting dark. He stopped on the corner of two streets as he waited for the crosswalk, his head peering into a record shop as it played Rosee and Choi's new group on a large TV. He couldn't help himself from smiling. She looked happy. She was signing, dancing. God how he wanted to congratulate her. The last thing he said to her was 'good luck' at graduation. That was it. He couldn't even hug her, Hell looking at her was painful. The more time he had away from her the more time he had to realize how crazy he was for her. She wasn't just his friend, she was his go to person. The one he was always talking to, the one he always wanted to talk to.

Quickly he pulled out his phone and groaned, pulling up his large list of contacts. Where was he at...oh, there.

He clicked on Jin's name and shot him a quick text. I need to talk to someone, and you're the only one left in Korea who I haven't pissed off or insulted. Can I send a car to get you? It was a long shot. Hoya had gotten pretty close to Yuri at the end once he found out her relationship to the mob life, so he didn't know if Jin would be angry at Hoya for some reason. Still, he was desperate. He needed to drink with a guy who wasn't mob affiliated. He needed to let down his guard for just one night.

Yubin waved a goodbye to Minho as he left, "No DON'T have fun! ANY FUN MINHO!" She yelled after him in response to Lee's farewell, only to pull away from him and give him a small glare, "He's going to rehab not Disney." Her face softened a bit though at the mention of dinner. Though he body shifted uncomfortably... they hadn't ever gone out in public. People that saw him assumed he was just a friend like Minho. The three of them were always together so no one really speculated the couple thing. But going out on a date... in public... would mean photos. And photos meant Hyunn would possibly see. That was the real reason she hid it from public eye, a part of her just couldn't let go for some reason. Hyunn was just the one person she always wanted to please and she felt like this wouldn't make him very happy.

"Well that does sounds nice." Yubin grinned up at him before taking in a long deep breath, "Have to break the news to my fanboys at some point right?" She reached out and grabbed her bag from the table and pulled on the acid washed denim jacket over the black bodycon dress she was wearing. Her black ankleboots made her only a few inches shorter that Lee as she stood by his side. "Now then because I am starving!"

The walk to the car was fine enough. But once they got to the restaurant? It was apparent that people had been following. "I am so sorry..." Yubin groaned as they finally took a seat at a table, in a corner and far away from everyone and their cell phone cameras. A bottle of wine was thankfully already waiting as she quickly poured a glass... and it tasted like heaven. It had been so long since she had a drink. She never would around Minho, not even once.

"So." She smiled and reached across the table to grab his hand and give it a small squeeze, "You know my mom is being a total bitch about meeting you right? Any chance you coul- Shit sorry." Her phone went off loudly in her purse, causing her to jump a little before she moved to grab it. "Hello? Yes... He WHAT? How? Where is he? Is he okay?" Yubin was rattling off questions way too fast for the poor nurse on the phone to give any answers. Though once she eventually grew quiet, Yubin finally got some information and quickly hung up the phone.

"I don't want to run out on this first... public date." Her hand ran through her hair, shaking a little as she struggled to catch her own breath, "But that idiot is in the hospital in America. I think I have to go. I have to right? I mean he has no one else. Hyorin is off on tour somewhere. His parents suck. And I was his contact... I mean I have to?"

Ryn looked at her phone with a slight frown, a club? With Yuri? And she was already sending a car! Usually Ryn tried to weasel her way out of it somehow, say she was too tired or just wanted to watch TV. But tonight offered her no way out and before she could even blink another message appeared to let her know the car was here. "Shit." She had just gotten finished listening to Jin's message and was about to call him back, but a text would have to suffice for now.

Back to the hotel just in time to turn around! Client wants to go out. Love you (And Cat!)

Send.

Before leaving she quickly stripped down and yanked on a black leather mini skirt and a black crop top. Her short hair was pulled back into a stubby ponytail and she put on a pair of black strappy heels. Being a stylist meant looking nice all of the damn time. So Ryn usually kept her style full of neutral colors and simple items, it made it easy to get ready in a pinch. Just like this....

Ryn made her way out to the car and finally found herself in front of a club before getting out and looking around for anyone she recognized.

Jin looked at his phone and raised a brow slightly, though no one would be around to ask him why... so he just talked to the cat. Like usual. "Ryn's going to a club? That would be some sight wouldn't it Cat?" He reached out and pet the large cat once more before reaching over to grab the remote to the television. His hand brushed against something though, something that made him go tense. How could a stupid piece of technology make him feel this on edge? He couldn't even unlock the thing. That stupid iPad. He kept it sitting on the iHome and used the controls on that to play music. That was all. Spotify was constantly open so that he never found himself getting pulled into all the photos and videos from the past. Hah. The past. Like it was all so long ago...

His phone beeped again, thankfully pulling him from his inner monologue. "Hoya?" Jin said aloud before reading through the message. It actually made him chuckle. Hell, he honestly never thought he would hear from this guy again. And while he wasn't really happy with how Hoya chose to live his life, he didn't dislike the guy at all. And it would be nice to go out with a friend that wasn't Ryn. And you know, stop talking to the cat.

Yeah sure, I'll get ready.

Once the car showed up Jin was dressed in a nice pair of tailored gray pants and a black button up shirt with a black coat pulled over. His longer hair was pushed back and he actually felt nice for once, and accomplished after getting out of there cat hair free. As sad of an accomplishment as that was... "Hey! Hoya!"

Rosee gave Choi an uncomfortable smile as she sat down and spoke to the others, think she wouldn't show? Like it would be the first time. Though that was a problem between Choi and the producers, she really wished that the others would stop pinning it on her! "Of course not, just wanted to remind you!" She chimed, smiling cheerfully at the girl just as the group of people walked in.

They talked for a while, about branding and new ideas and songs and potential collaborations. A fundraiser for Haenghada.... "Wait? You want what? HAH!" She couldn't help but laugh out loud. It was actually comical. Like the eight of them would ever get together like they used to. "You do realize that would mean trying to catch Yuri and Yubin when they're not busy. Finding Hoya. Jin already works at that damn place and Hyunn is in another country. Not to mention you won't get Minho to come around at all!" It wouldn't and couldn't happen. But the producers kept pushing for Rosee and Choi to think about it. It would be good for your image is what they kept saying.

Finally Rosee got tired of listening and she pulled out her phone and began scrolling just as a chime came in from one of her favorite gossip blogs. Usually she hated them but the blogs were the only way to know what was going on with her friends. "Holy shit!" She sputtered and dropped her phone into her lap before quickly reaching over and snatching Choi's from her. "No looking at your phone for a while. Okay?" Minho literally fell from a balcony. Rosee needed to get a hold of Yubin but first she needed to make sure that Choi didn't lose it.

Party it was.

Minho couldn't find the rehab on his GPS! So that was just a sign that it wasn't meant to be... He would try again tomorrow. For Yubin's sake. But tonight, party. He wasn't there very long before he found himself far too gone to function. And sitting on a balcony railing probably wasnt the best idea he every had. Nor was trying to break his fall with his hand... Thankfully the bushes did a lot of the work but from what he heard in the ambulance his arm was broken, and he had some scratches and cuts that would need stitches... and a detox.

"Hey! Where am I! Is this Hyunns place! Bring me Hyunn!" Minho was loud and slurring his words like an idiotic girl on her first night drinking. Who knew if Minho was in Hyunn's hospital but hey might as well try right!

When Hyunn did walk in though, Minho couldn't help himself, he was hyped up on pain meds and alcohol. "Hyunn! My dear old friend! We have some talking to do. First I am so so so so so so sorry about Choi. Her manager made me! And second, Yubin has GOT to stop with this boy okay. He sucks. You don't." Minho was just ranting at this point but he had to take advantage of this considering that Hyunn would never return a damn text message.

Hyuun just stared at Minho with a disapproving look as he ranted and raved. "You have enough narcotics and alcohol in your system to knock a 600 pound man on his ass, and you think I'm here to discuss my sister and Yubin?" He let out a long sigh and shook his head. Wait, what did he say? Choi's manager...and Yubin with a boy? He supposed it was time she moved on, but that didn't make it hurt any less.

A nurse came in with the supplies needed to stitch him up and made Hyuun sigh. "I'll get this." He waved away the nurse before he washed his hands and gloved up. "Choi's manager couldn't have made you break up with her, Minho." He sat next to him and looked at the cuts. They weren't that bad, and they probably wouldn't even scar that bad if at all. "Did you know she cut me out of her life? I hear she's developed an eating disorder, or at least that's what the tabloids are saying... She won't even return my calls." When he had the chance to call her, at least. He flushed out the wounds and sanitized it before threading the needle. "And Yubin is a smart woman. She's smart enough to make her own decisions on her love life. Besides, Yuri says she's doing very well for herself." He quickly stitched up the wounds, figuring he was so drunk and high he wouldn't even feel it.

Before he knew it the wounds were all stitched up. "Your arm looks fine, besides the obvious broken parts. A cast should do nicely, no surgery probably." He thew away the sharps and the other medical supplies before tossing his gloves and washing his hands again. "You'll stay here until someone comes to get you. The nurses will put the cast on you after we review the x-rays." He turned to Minho and gave him a small smile. "Off the record, you're a fucking mess. Maybe you should think about getting back with Choi? Or at least apologize to her. You guys were friends before you were a couple...maybe you could help straighten each other out. Talk some sense into each other. I'll be talking to your contact when they get here. Who is it? Your mother? Father? Sister?" He didn't even guess Yubin, not when Minho had family.

"It's fine." Lee couldn't help but chuckle. Before Yubin, Lee had a new actress, model, or singer on his arm weekly. He was a ladies man, and a pretty well known actor. His singing career was just taking off as well, so he wouldn't be surprised if some of the paparazzi were his. At the mention of her mom he felt himself tense up. He didn't meet families. A couple dinners and a few outings were as far as Lee liked to get into relationships. He avoided families like the plague. He wasn't the settle down type. He liked to look good, and he liked to have someone look good on his arm. Yubin was beautiful and everything, but he was just using her. Yuri had to come home soon enough, right? He'd meet her and lay everything out on the table for her and Yubin.

No matter how much it hurt.

After she got off the phone he let out a relieved sigh. Thank you Minho, saving the day with his drunk acts. "Of course. It's only right. Maybe when you bring him home we do an intervention?" This was his chance. "I'll set it all up for two days from now. I'll invite everyone, and I'll make sure that they come. Even Choi. I'm sure facing his demons will be good for the guy." He waved down the waiter so he could pay for the wine. "Go on, take the car. I'll call another driver." He gave her a reassuring smile before handing the waiter his card. "I'm sure Minho is fine right now, he's probably flirting it on up with some cute nurses." That's what Lee would do, at least. If it wasn't for him dating Yubin he was sure him and Minho would be getting along swimmingly.

Quickly he sent a text to Hoya, informing him to invite everyone to an intervention in two days. That should give everyone enough time to get to town.

"I would literally rather slit my own wrists with a rusty spoon than be in the same room as Minho and my brother, let alone do a fundraiser with them." Choi snarled slightly at the idea. Fuck her image at that point. Why be in the same room as the guy that ripped out her heart and stomped on it, and the guy that she could never compare to? No thank you. No matter how much pressuring her managers did it would never happen. Count her out.

When Rosee snatched her phone out of her hand Choi's jaw dropped slightly. Did she seriously just do that? Fucking rude. "I don't have the energy to fight you. I'm exhausted." She sunk deeper into the couch with a long sigh. Her body was aching and her stomach hurt. When was the last time she ate? It had to be at that practice the other night, she ate five grapes because Rosee wouldn't get off of her back. Shit, that was four days ago. She wondered how much weight she had lost since then.

"Besides, Yuri said she doesn't want to live in Korea anymore. Too many reminders of Jin. Plus, something about escaping her last name." Yuri had even started to irritate Choi lately, and she didn't think that would have ever happened. So what if she was some stupid Park? It was just like a last name. That's how she looked at Hyuun right now. So what if they shared a name, or a birthday, or a womb. There were millions of people in the world she could replace them with.

At least, that's what she kept telling herself.

Hoya was still in the same suit that he wore to the lawyers office earlier that day. His appearance was slightly disheveled from walking all day, his usual shiny black shoes dusted with dirt. He had already decided to start drinking at this little bar downtown Busan while he waited for Jin. By the time he had arrived he had already downed a couple glasses of whiskey and two beers. He was stressed. When he seen Jin he smiled a bright smile and stood up. "Jin! You look good, man." Hoya's words were slightly slurred as he gave the guy a hug, patting his back before he sat down on the bar stool he had been occupying. "My dad died yesterday and left me fucking everything." Was that a good way to start things off? Probably not. "Order whatever the hell you want, it's on me. I just needed a drinking buddy." He pat the bar as the cute bartender gave him another glass of whiskey. "Thank you, sweetie." He downed the glass quickly before slamming it back onto the counter.

"I wanted to call Rosee and rant to her about what an ass I feel like for turning down my dad, but I couldn't get the courage. So uh, what's been up with you man?" His phone beeped and made him groan. "What fucking now?" He looked down at it and his eyes widened. Lee was the Seven Star bosses son, so when he requested something it was to get done and get done fast. "I uh." He cleared his throat and looked at Jin once more. "Minho has a drinking problem I guess, and he just fell from a balcony in America. They're having an intervention for him in two days. I uh, I guess I'm supposed to get everyone to come. So you mind? I'll uh, I'll text Yuri." Oh, shit. "Shit man, I'm sorry." He cleared his throat. "I didn't mean, I mean, I'm sorry." He ran a hand over his face. "Can you invite Rosee? Please?" For Hoya being such a tough guy the thought of asking Rosee to this thing made him nervous. "And ask her to bring Choi? Neither of them will come if I ask, and I need them to come."

Yuri was busy signing some things outside of the club when Ryn arrived. By things, she means paper, shirts, arms, abs, chests, boobs. People in Germany were weird. Selfies with a bunch of people were usually required at things like this, kisses on cheeks, things like that. So when the car arrived Yuri gave a small goodbye to the now satisfied crowd and waved Ryn over. "Ryn. Through here." Yuri spun on her heeled boots and walked past the huge bouncer, who had her sign his shirt. The club was busy. Bright, flashing colorful lights. A crowded dance floor, a glowing bar, and a DJ that was on a balcony. She led Ryn through the crowd to a private booth, a few models, both German and Korean, and a couple of her tour mates occupying the large booth. One stood to give Yuri a small kiss on the cheek with a bright smile plastered on his face, Yuri giving him a small, forced smile. It was hard to smile lately, but they were all so good to her it was hard. "You guys know Ryn." She sat in the booth next to the model friend, motioning Ryn to sit with them.

A tray of drinks arrived at the table, Yuri downing one of the first ones she seen. It was sweet, super sweet. It hardly tasted like alcohol, so the lightweight drank another one. "Yuri, careful. There's a lot of alcohol in that..." She looked down at the text from Hoya and grimaced slightly. An intervention? He wasn't giving her much of a choice. "Who cares at this point?" Jin wasn't there to worry about her anymore, Hyuun wasn't there to scold her. Choi was doing the same damn thing, why couldn't she?

A drink or two more and she was gone. Yuri stood from her seat and grabbed the models hand, looking at Ryn with a small wink. "Have fun, kay? You deserve it for putting up with me. And we'll be flying back to Korea in the morning." At this point in her life Yuri saw herself as a burden to everyone in her life. Everyone deserved to be rewarded for putting up with her.

It was the middle of the night when Yubin arrived in America. Minho was getting to be one expensive ass thorn in the side, a last minute ticket to the USA was NOT cheap...  Ugh. Not to mention the emotional toil. "Thank you." She said to the flight attendant as she exited the plane. Her english was okay, but not great by any means. Yubin had a heavy accent and only new basic things, her manager was working with her on it but it wasn't going very well at all. At some point during the long flight she changed from her dress and heels into a pair of skinny jeans, black converse and a red sweater. More comfortable that way, plus no one should really recognize her. Korean rap wasn't really big over here.

No bags to pick up so she simply walked out to the taxi with her carry-on and gave the driver the address in broken english. It took a few tries and Yubin finally was able to get out hospital rather than the numbers and street name. So they were finally on the way. The entire car ride she was trying to calm herself down. a ritual she had done over and over again on the plane. She was SO angry with Minho! He was supposed to be here for rehab and what did he do? Get trashed and fall off a balcony. But also HOW COULD YOU BE MAD AT SOMEONE WHEN THEY'RE IN THE HOSPITAL?! And now she was mad at him fr not being able to get mad at him!

At the hospital Yubin paid the man with some money she had exchanged before leaving and started into the hospital, almost instantly confused. Reading english was so much worse than speaking it. "Uh excuse me? Excuse me?" No one was listening until finally some woman must have felt pity for the poor girl. She was directed to the front desk for the ER where the same woman helped Yubin figure out where Minho was. "Ah! Thank you!" Yubin bowed slightly, quickly rushing off when she realized how foreign she looked by doing so.

"Minho... You idiot." Yubin walked into the room, paying no attention to the man in the white coat that she walked past in doing so. "I should kill you. I was about to eat when I got a call from this place. What were you doing on a balcony anyways you fucki-" She caught herself before continuing, turning to introduce herself as the emergency contact to the doctor when she dropped her phone to the floor with a crack. "H-Hyunn?" There was no way it was him. No way in hell. How could Minho MAGICALLY end up in HYUNNS hospital? How did Yubin not even notice this was Hyunn's hospital?! She was too focused on Minho of course but still! "I-I... oh my god hi." Yubin couldn't help herself. Sure it was his place of work. Sure he was probably busy but wasn't that more reason to do so? She damn near tackled him with a hug, and we all know that Yubin doesn't hug.

Ryn giggled and rolled her eyes a little when she saw poor Yuri being surrounded, the girl couldn't go anywhere. But she supposed that she should know the appeal of Yuri more than anyone... She was only about to marry the man that was in love with her at some point. "Okay!" She chimed and followed in after Yuri, giving the bouncer a small wave before chasing the girl to the booth. Damn the girl moved fast... and she apparently moved fast drinking too. After only a few drinks, Ryn could see that this was going to go badly and decided to keep herself close to sober. Sip on a drink or two and that was it.. "Ah hello. Nice to see you all." Ryn smiled as Yuri introduced her to the others.

In her pocket her phone was going crazy, text from Yubin. Text from Jin. Link to a news story. Holy hell. What was going on?

Before getting the chance to check anything, Yuri was moving from the table and telling her to have fun. "Uh Yuri! The morning? When did that change, we weren't supposed to go back yet." She was happy that she was going to be able to see Jin sooner but it was really strange of Yuri to change her plans like that...

Jin couldn't help but simply stare at Hoya as he spoke. His dad passed and none of them were there to really help him. And Rosee would want to know... even if her and Hoya weren't speaking. Jin could understand why Hoya couldn't talk to her though, it was like Jin and Yuri... or Choi and Minho even. None of them really parted on the best of terms. "I'll have a vodka tonic. Thanks. And man, I'm sorry to hear about you dad Hoya. I know you guys weren't close or anything but it still isn't nice losing a loved one." Jin gave the guy a pat on the back before taking a sip of his drink that was just set down in front of him. He wanted to ask Hoya more about what was going on with him but it seemed obvious that he wasn't really wanting to talk, he was wanting to be distracted.

"Ah well, I'm working at the school. A writing class. Live nearby as well. I'm uh-" Jin stopped to clear his throat. The only one who knew about Ryn was Yubin, Lee and Minho. Because they were the only ones that ever came around. Jin wasn't really famous or a hot gossip topic anymore so it was easy to keep his relationship from public eye... finally. "I'm engaged. Her name is Ryn. We met during a summer class at the school. She's a stylist and literally never home. We have a cat.. named Cat." Jin was grinning as he rambled. It was nice to have someone besides that stupid cat to talk to. "We're sending invitations out this week, I was trying to find a address for you but you're not an easy man to get a hold of my friend."

Jin looked over Hoya as he looked down at his phone, wait what? Jin knew that Minho wasn't in the best place but had it really gotten that bad? And was he okay?! "Uh no it's fine man, don't worry about it." Yuri's name hurt a little, it always would but it would be something he had to live with. "Of course, I'll text her right now. But dude for the record... I think she would love to hear from you. Just to even know you're okay. Like physically. And I'm sure she would listen about your dad. She's always been a good listener."

Jin pulled out his phone and sent another text to Ryn, letting her know what happened with Minho and that he was sorry he wouldn't really be able to spend the day with her when she got home.

"Aiiii yes she can mate! Have you ever met the woman?! Choi's manager is twice the angry monster that Yubin used to be with a little bit of Choi's attitude sprinkled in!" Minho started at Hyunn as the man started working on his arm, he could feel a little bit of a sting but when you drink like Minho did? You got used to stitches. "And anyways... they were going to remove her from the group and void her contract. Blacklist her. It was more of a threat than anything. I thought I was doing the right thing... she was refusing to work with any guys and it was costing them buisness. I just.. I really thought I was doing the right thing. Keeping her safe..." Minho felt stupid for starting to cry but he couldn't help himself. Especially when he heard about what happened between her and Hyunn. "I knew about the eating disorder but Rosee said she thought it was just the magazines... that she had been on top of her constantly. But I didn't know about what happened with you. I am so sorry Hyunn..."

Minho was sobering up a little bit once Hyunn finished with the stitches and moved to walk away, "And on the subject of Yubin. She's keeping herself busy. Settling. And she knows it. Trust me, I'm like her new best girlfriend! Oh and my emergency contact..." Before he could say the name he saw Yubin appear in the doorway behind Hyunn and he grinned wide, "My favorite roommate! Thank you for coming to save me from this awful place." She was instantly scolding him but what else could he expect? She trusted that he would come her to get help and here he was drunk in a hospital bed. "Okay okay, yell at me but you're missing something big here Yubin."

And then it happened, she turned to say something to the doctor and Minho watched as her phone fell to the ground and broke. "Ooo Lee's going to be so mad that you can't text him..."
