Realistic or Modern Haenghada High (CLOSED)

Hoya quietly slipped out of the room and walked out onto the porch, pulling out his phone as he shivered. It was colder than it was last night, but this should only take a moment. He quickly clicked on one of his contacts and held the phone up to his ear, his other hand holding the tie in his hand. "Hey, it's Hoya. I need you to do the same thing, but with two people and for the whole year this time." He rolled his eyes at the voice over the phone. "Yeah, I know. I won't be talking to them after graduation. You don't need to remind me. You work for me, not the other way around. Remember?" Hoya groaned quietly and leaned against the cold wood of the porch. "Same girl from before, and another girl. Yuri Park. Yeah, I know what Park means you idiot. Who pays you again?" He had about enough with this guy. "If I hear you bitch one more time I swear I'll find someone else. Just get it done tomorrow morning, got it?" With that he clicked end and sighed. He wasn't allowed to have anything to do with his old life after graduation. His friends, his father. Not that his father wanted anything to do with him. Not that anybody cared.

With one final sigh Hoya walked back inside and to the living room. "What piece am I?"

"I'd still come back for this! I just hope there's not another fire." Yuri grimaced slightly when Jin scolded her for working. "I'm not overworked, just busy. Busy is good. The club---bar isn't that bad of a place. Fun music, at least." Speaking of. Her phone vibrated in her pocket when Jin went to go grab the game, causing Yuri to pull it out and see the text from the manager. They had some call ins and was wondering if she'd come in tonight. Would they be mad? She'd go in for the late shift, one to five in the morning. A short shift, and it wasn't even considered Christmas once midnight hit! Usually she didn't leave here in her uniform. Hmm. Maybe she'd change there.

"Oh, I'll be Mrs. Peacock!"

Choi practically pouted when Minho pecked her on the nose. Was he patronizing her? She had been good all this time, so what if she slipped up and kissed him? It was just once. And they weren't out in public, just their friends. "You're so fickle." She sighed quietly and picked the Miss Scarlet character, leaving Mrs. Meadowbrook to Yubin. "Hoya, you can be Mr. Green. He looks intimidating." She handed Hyuun the professor plum guy, the colonel mustard to Jin, and Rusty to Minho. "I'd like anything you gave me..." Was it obvious she was a little bitter? She hoped not. Choi didn't like being petty, especially on Christmas. Minho was the first relationship she had ever really had, and they weren't on the same page. He cared too much about what others thought about them, and she supposed she didn't care what people thought. When she felt Minho's arm go around her she stood up and walked to the kitchen. "I'll get us some drinks. Yuri, play for me."

Once in the kitchen she sighed quietly and turned on the coffee maker to heat up some water, reaching up in the cupboards to get some mugs for cocoa and coffee and tea.

Hyuun chuckled nervously, giving a small shrug to Yubin's words. "If I don't win then I'm going to have to go to Harvard. What's the harm in dropping out now?" Hyuun knew by now he wasn't going to win. The guys weren't in sync like the girls were, and honestly they were just enjoying the time they had left. So the idea of gaming professionally sounded great, dropping out sounded even better. He placed the character Choi handed him on the board with a small smile, though the smile fell when he watched his sister walk out of the room. "Ah. Good luck with that one Minho. Though, you guys are really cute. I hope it works. She seems a lot happier lately." He gave a small smile over to his friend as he placed the pieces on the game board.

"Woah woah woah, Harvard? Since when did you specify the place?! Before it was just hell hole or medical school or whatever you decided to insult it with that week! Plus you guys still could win, we don't know what will happen!" Yubin scrambled to find words to properly express her confusion but it just ended up with her blabbering on about the subject. When did evil get a name? Giving it details meant that it was becoming reality and Yubin didn't like that one single bit. Even before she actually knew Hyunn it would have killed her to know he gave up and went to medical school. Not that being a doctor isn't amazing but still... He was so talented and he was the one that drove her to be as good as she is. And now he was like her best friend. No one wanted to see their best friend give up.

Yubin didn't get much more of an argument in though before he moved over to the others around the game. She just couldn't believe what was happening. She was pissed. Pissed enough to break her own rules.

"You know this started off as a fucking competition and we all hated each other. It wasn't going to be fun to watch any of us lose but it sure as hell won't be nice winning when the other team has already thrown in the fucking towel.  All of you have just given right the fuck up." Yubin scoffed. Crossing her arms across her chest and shaking her head a little. "I'll, whatever. I'll be back in a second... I have to step outside." Yubin turned and walked out onto the front porch, sitting on the ledge of the railing and taking in a long breath of the cold air and letting the snow calm her down.

"Hey-hey now Yubin! Come on." Jin sighed as she slammed the door, you had to do a lot to piss off Yubin on Christmas. "Guys, I'll play for her if it gets to her turn okay. How about we just start the game right? It is Christmas!" He was trying his best to seem cheery and keep up the mood. No need to start drama today, no need to fight and no need for anyone to get upset. It was best to just let her cool down on her own and then pretend like nothing even happened and go on with their day.

"Here Yuri you go first." Jin smiled down at her before handing her the die and stretching his arms up above his head and giving Hyunn a raised brow. What in the hell even happened to make her go off like that? And anyways she was wrong! They hadn't really thrown in the towel had they? Maybe.. With Hoya running off it was surely a possibility. And no mentor... and the fact that Jin would rather Yuri win. Though he would never say that out loud. He didn't think he let it affect his performance though. But maybe the others saw something he didn't.

They were sitting close enough to the window for Rosee to slightly overhear Hoya on the phone. Same thing as before but for two girls? Same one as before? And Yuri? The words made Rosee's body perk up as she struggled to listen, trying to figure out why Hoya was talking about Yuri. She hadn't pissed him off at breakfast had she?! Was he calling a hit out on her?! No way, Hoya would never do that. Not to any of them... and that was probably just Rosee's imagination running wild anyways. Her phone buzzed in her pocket and drew her attention from listening but Hoya was on the way in anyways.

It was a notification from her online billing to her email. "Huh?" The rent was paid again. Anonymous again.

No. Way.

"Hoya, who were you talking to?" Rosee suddenly blurted as he sat down to play the game, her eyes looking over Yuri quickly as she played her turn. Was Hoya the one that paid her bills before and now doing it again? Even after her complete freak out the last time. She didn't want to start anything, not with Yuri right next to her so instead she took a screenshot of the notification and sent it to his phone, staring him down something fierce as she spoke, "You were talking really loudly out there." Her sweet voice didn't match her eyes. No more lies.

And then Yubin went off and Rosee was suddenly pulled from the staredown and looking up at Yubin. Could this group ever get one single day? It was obvious that Jin was trying really hard to keep up the mood, so Rosee was determined to keep a smile on her face. Even with Hoya sitting across from her.

Was Choi upset? As soon as Minho put his arm around her she squirmed away to go get everyone drinks and Hyunn was making some comment. What did he even do? He honestly had no clue what had happened. Everything seemed so great just a few seconds ago, literally a few seconds ago. And then all of a sudden it was like all the girls but Yuri drank some pissed off punch and wanted them all dead. Rosee's eyes looked like a lion going in for the kill, Choi had run off to the kitchen and Yubin literally lost her shit. It reminded him a lot of their first day in the house actually!

"Oh my oh my oh my. I should go see if Choi needs help. It's not my turn for a second anyways. Let me know if I miss anything okay?" Minho patted Hyunn on the back before standing up and opening the door to the kitchen. "Hey do you want some help?"

Minho walked up behind her and reached into his pocket to pull out a coupon for a kiss. "Can I use this now or is it considered void when I've fucked up?..."

Shit. He must have been so angry at the kid he didn't realize how loud he was talking. He glanced down at his phone and avoided looking at Rosee, seeing the screenshot. Hoya was trying to be good today! "If it's any consolation, I told the moron tomorrow morning. I figured it was too early to do shit like that, and I didn't think it'd post this soon." He'd have to punch that kiss ass in the face the next time he seen him. "I didn't want you to find out, but I suppose you could call it my good deed for the year?" He was too proud to ask for forgiveness. And what should he be forgiven for? Getting jealous over that small town goon? Fuck that. Hoya was a jealous, angry person. Rosee calmed that side of him for a bit. It was actually nice.

"Shouldn't we get to the game, Rosee?" He glanced over at Yuri, telling Rosee not to let her know. "Save what you make. You deserve it. And if it makes you feel better, it's not blood money or anything. It's the money my dad puts in my account as an allowance. I don't ask for it, he just gives it." Don't even ask how much Hoya made in a weekly allowance for doing absolutely nothing. It was ridiculous.

Yuri looked concerned as everything went down. Why was everyone angry? Why was Rosee glaring at Hoya? Yuri looked up at Jin with worried eyes, tucking a couple strands of loose hair behind her ear. "S-Should I get mad about something? Did I miss what happened?" Yuri was good at emotions, she didn't get most things though. What just happened? She had absolute no clue. "Miss Scarlet always goes first. So I'll go for Choi." She rolled the dice. "Five!" She moved Choi's piece to the ballroom. Yuri then rolled the dice and moved her piece four spaces towards the library. "I, um, agree with Yubin. I hope you guys haven't given up." She glanced over at Jin. "If we win I hope we win for real. If we don't then it's not really a win..." Yuri didn't want to win anything that way. Dating the opponent...was that the smartest idea?

"Besides, I need the girls to win so I can stay with Jin. He can't win and be dating some mob daughter, can he? I'd have to break up with him." Yuri giggled quietly and poked Jin in the knee. "Your turn."

Choi sighed quietly and poured the hot water into a couple cups, some with tea and some with cocoa. She put the mugs on a tray and turned to Minho, arching one of her perfectly plucked brows. "They're not void, they're good for a lifetime. You even have a 'free fuck up' coupon in there. You sure you want to kiss me though? Someone could walk in." With that said she turned back around to the tray with the mugs, stirring in the cocoa slowly. "Yubin has a point too, you know. Winning if the other team has already given up feels like we were cheated out of a win. Did you give up?" The thought turned her stomach. Minho wasn't a quitter. Jin wasn't a quitter. Hyuun was, but not when it came to his music, and even he seemed done! And it was obvious Hoya gave up. "Is it because of us girls? Because if so maybe we should keep our space until the performance. I'll get the girls and I hotel room for a couple weeks, stay away from you guys." It killed Choi to say those words. She didn't want to lose him in the slightest, but maybe they needed to clear their heads

Hyuun didn't want to do this, not today. Yubin was so happy. He had to go and open his big mouth, even mentioning Harvard. He sighed quietly when she stood and left the room. "I uh, should go get her." He stood to his feet and stepped into his shoes at the door, grabbing Yubin a jacket before walking outside. "Here. It's cold." He wrapped the jacket around her shoulders and shoved his hands in the pockets of his pants, looking out at the snow as it fell. "Everyone has to have a plan B if this doesn't work out. Even if I won I needed to apply. My father put my application in for me a couple weeks ago, I got the acceptance letter yesterday. It wasn't just harvard; Princeton, Yale, MIT, Columbia, Oxford. They all approved me, they all gave me a full ride." He rubbed the back of his neck and sighed loudly. "I haven't given up, Yubin. I'm just saying that if this doesn't work I'll be going to Harvard right after graduation. I'm just facing reality here. I'm not going to win, not with those guys. Boy bands aren't our things. We've lost our mentor, lost a key member to our team to the mob. You guys are like sisters now."

Hyuun looked inside at the living room before looking back at her. "Can't we enjoy the time we have left? Don't think about the competition, don't think of me leaving. Just have fun. We have everyone together for one last hurrah." He wanted her to have at least one good day before he left. Hopefully it was obvious to Yubin that this was a done deal, despite neither one of them wanting him to leave.

Yubin let out a small thank you as Hyunn put the coat over her shoulders, her hands moving to pull the thing shut over her body. It was still really early, about nine thirty now and the streets were completely clear of traffic or people. It was kind of therapeutic in a way, listening to Hyunn talk and watching the stillness. She understood every point he was making, she could see where he was coming from. Even Yubin had a plan B. Everyone at Haenghada should...

"Hyunn I understand that. It doesn't make it suck any less." Yubin finally looked over at him from where she was balancing on the railing. "This may come as a shock to you, but I didn't have very many friends before this year. I had Jin's friends who all pretty much hated my guts. And now that I've found people that I finally can drop the raging bitch act and people that can handle me, it's all over. It's not just you, it's all of them. Whoever wins wont ever get to see whoever loses. Do you think our friends in there are going to keep their relationships?" She scoffed and looked away again. No way in hell, they couldn't even date when they weren't widely famous. No way in hell it would work out once they graduated. "I just wish this could be us forever. But it can't and it's obvious all of a sudden. I mean Hoya is in the fucking mob!"

"And it just sucks to know that you have to go do something you don't love. How did you feel when you thought Yuri might have to stop singing? When you see someone you care about have to stop dreaming it sucks. It sucks bad." Yubin didn't realize she was starting to tear up at this point, "And I just wanted to pretend like it wasn't happening, and have this nice Christmas together but all I saw around me were two lovestruck boys that didn't realize they were throwing their talent down the drain because they were too infatuated with my friends. And a boy who gave up because another friend wouldn't magically know how he felt. And how you got pulled down with it all. So yes, I want to have one last hurrah but I also want to cry and break things at the same time. So I'm done pretending that we're some troubless group of happy misfits and I'm going to have fun with my friends.... while also being sad for my friends."

"Of course we haven't... not intentionally of course. But with all the shit that happened a few weeks ago... maybe we kind of did without knowing it." Jin gave Yuri a sad smile and ruffled her hair, "But you're right. And I'm not going to lose without a fight, not even to you."  He took the die from her and rolled the piece against the board before moving jhos piece a few spaces in the opposite direction that everyone else had been moving. Outside he could occasionally hear Yubin get loud, catching pieces of her conversation but not enough to really understand what she was talking about.

"Ah, the study." Jin chuckled a little before tossing the die to Rosee. Her and Hoya were eyeing each other oddly and he was starting to clue into what was going on there. Hoya was the one that paid Rosee's bills. Jin had been walking along side them when she had her original break down about the situation and now it seemed like it was about to happen all over again. "Hey Rosee! Your turn Mrs. White." Jin swallowed hard and turned back to Yuri. "Do you think Minho and Choi are okay... getting drinks is taking a while...."

Everything was kind of falling apart around them. Maybe Yubin's ideal Christmas day wasn't really going to work for this group, after all they werent very traditional in general. The thought gave him and idea and he took out his phone before sending a text message to his father. It wasn't very often he asked his dad for a favor but his buiness ties would come in handy. Especially with the people at Seoul land. Most things there were closed during the winter anyways, and the whole place was shut down yesterday and today. But there was a hill for sledding, arcade games, carnival games and a few small rides they could operate alone. His parents did it once for his birthday when he would younger...

Rosee couldn't be angry.

She wanted to be. But she couldn't be. Why? Because Hoya helped out Yuri too. "Since you did something I specifically told you I really didn't enjoy the first time. Do me a different favor? One that will put superglue on that pedestal?" Rosee looked over him, her face softening and her lips turning into a small smile, "Stay, I get that you have... responsibilities now. But just stay at the house until graduation. Please?" She wouldn't say anything to Yuri, she could tell that was what Hoya was getting at. But it meant she was asking for this of him... as if the money wasn't enough.

"Oh right!" Rosee took the die from Jin and threw it onto the board, moving her piece towards one of the rooms quickly before holding out the die to Hoya, "Peace?"

Oh.... Now Minho understood what he did.

"Choi I don't mean it like that... I just mean I don't know how to do this. All I have ever been told by my peers and my mentors is that I have to hide my feelings so I dont know how to show them in front of people. It was one thing when it was just flirting, that I could do. But now Choi, it's real and it's completely new to me and I am already fucking it all up." He reached past her and placed the coupon on the counter before wrapping both of his arms around her from behind and giving her a gentle squeeze. "I am just so scared to fuck this up that I am making myself fuck it up."

Minho moved back a tiny bit, keeping his hands on her waist as he spun her around. "And yeah. I did." Minho wasn't a liar. "Hoya left. Jin wants Yuri to win. I tried to keep up for Hyunn but we just don't work like you guys do. It's hard to keep trying when fifty percent just dont care. All of us except Hyunn will be fine without the contract. I already have made a name. Jin wants to write and sit in coffee shops. Hoya was always well off. Hyunn was the only one who really needed this. And I tried for him. And I'm going to keep trying, but without Jin and Hoya on our side I don't think it will matter."

Minho moved his hand to tuck some of her hair behind her ear before bending down and planting a kiss on her lips gently. "But I'll go down trying. And I'll try better at this too."

Was she serious? She wanted him to stay? After everything he said about the small town, about Jung, at the inn. Joining the mob, paying the bills. She still wanted him to stay? "I'll be having some late nights with my friends, long phone calls. But fine. If you still want me to stay, then fine. Until graduation." That was when his real mob life started. He took the dice from her and rolled them, moving his piece some random way. He really didn't care. Honestly? He didn't know how to play. He never had friends to play with, and all of his street friends weren't interested in games like these.

Outside he heard Yubin yelling. It wasn't yelling, more or less loudly speaking. All of a sudden Hoya felt bad. He had made everything about him lately, but in reality Hyuun was going to have to go off to some medical school if he failed... "I'll work, I promise. For Hyuun. He deserves to win." It was kind of late in the game at this point, but he was willing to try.

"Okay..." Yuri smiled up at him and gave a small nod. "No giving up!" Her phone vibrated again and caused her to sigh. Work again? Yuri pulled out her phone, her eyes widening when she noticed who it was. Quickly she answered the phone and stood up. "H-Hi dad. What's up?" Immediately he started to yell, freaking out about something. She even pulled the phone away from her ear slightly as she walked out of the room. "Okay okay! No I didn't do it, I paid them for this month." Her eyes widened as she heard what he was saying. "A whole year? No...no I don't have any idea on who did it!" She let out a long sigh. "No, I'm not going to come home today dad. Or tomorrow! You're freaking out over nothing." The fact that the bills were paid for a whole year did concern her though. "You're drunk dad. Go take a nap. We'll talk when you sober up, okay?"

Yuri slid down the wall in the hallway and let out a long, aggravated sigh. Maybe she should go home for a while, just until they figure out this whole bill situation. If his dads mob did make a comeback they could be forced to go into hiding again.

It was so so so so so hard to stay mad at Minho. His voice alone calmed her down, but paired with his words, the hug, and the kiss she felt all the sadness and anger wash away completely. "Okay. I'm sorry I got so upset. Help my brother win, okay? Win for the guys. That way if we do win then I won't be too upset." She pecked him on the cheek before giving back the coupon. "They're valid after Christmas. That kiss was free." Choi gave him a small smile before pushing some of his hair out of his face. "What we have is new to me, too. So I'm going to try to not get upset over this stuff." She smiled again before taking the tray of cocoa and teas into the living room. "Here we are. Where'd Yuri go?" Choi blinked widely as she looked around the room. "And Hyuun, and Yubin...?"

Hyuun felt his heart ache miserably at Yubin's words. "And one day you will be a world famous rapper. Yuri will sing around the world to millions of people. Rosee will dance on some of the biggest stages in the world, and Choi will be idolized by millions of girls. Minho will act in top movies, Jin will sing in coffee shops and write for the top singers, Hoya will be at the top of the mob, and I'll be a brilliant surgeon. But we can't focus on the things that will come eventually. We have to enjoy life, Yubin." He gave a small frown when she brought up Yuri's voice. He would have given anything for her to be able to use her voice again. Was that how Yubin felt?

"I...I'm sorry. I didn't know." He felt his eyes water slightly, the back of his hand wiping them away. "This is my reality Yubin, I just have to face it. I won't stop rapping though. I'll write for you or something." His chuckle was sad as he nodded. "Being sad is alright. I've been feeling down since my acceptance letters came. I just want to be happy and sad with you guys for the remainder of the time I'm here." He held the door open for Yubin. "Come on. Let's go so they don't worry too much."

"I don't want you to write for me. You suck." Yubin gave Hyunn a small smile and jumped down from the railing before walking up behind him and giving him a small hug as he held open the door. "Just keep trying okay. Shit can change so fast... and Hoya is back now. So you can't blame losing on him." Before walking in she stood up on her tip toes and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "And don't be sorry. Only be sorry if you give up."

"Is it my turn?" Yubin bounced back into the room, rubbing the tears from her eyes quickly with the sleeve of the jacket before plopping into her place and quickly scanning over the board. "None of even want to play this do you?" She chuckled slightly at the complete randomness of the board. No one but maybe Yuri seemed to have an actual direction. "Sorry for trying to force a happy family day in your guys. I just wanted us to have fun before life got insane."

As she spoke she looked back at Hyunn with a little wink, "And I went a little crazy with my idea of perfect. So let's just do whatever we want today. With no rules okay?"

Jin was startled as Yuri ran off on the phone, he wanted to go after her but it wasn't long after that his own phone started to buzz. The owner let the security guard know that Jin would be coming by with friends, which his father followed with a emotionless merry Christmas text. Well at least it was something. "Welcome

back!" Jin said to Choi and Minho, looking decently happy once again. "Yuri is on the phone and Yubin is-"

Just as he was about to talk, Yubin and Hyunn returned. "Perfect timing." Yubin started to apologize to everyone and Jin chuckled a little, "Well then how about we all ditch the comfy clothes rule and go get ready to go out? Nothing fancy but dress warm. I decided to get everyone another gift."

Jin stood up from the ground and went to find Yuri and fill her in on the new plan, "Hey, you should go change into something warm." He moved to ruffle her hair but quickly noticed something was wrong, "Yuri are you okay?"

"Thank you, Ryn." Yuri looked in the mirror as she touched the 24 inched extensions Ryn had just finished styling. For over a year now Ryn had been Yuri's personal stylist. Only one person did her hair how she liked it, and Yuri didn't want anything but the best. If she surrounded herself with the best she'd feel the best. Right? Oh, how she wished she was right.

Yuri messed up at the schools last performance, and she messed up hard. She completely forgot her lines, even froze on stage for a good five seconds. That had never happened to her before. All the stress had gotten to her; the bills being paid, her father pressuring down on her, her relationship with Jin, the jobs, the overwhelming hours at work, wanting the boys to win, wanting the girls to win...it broke her. The photographic memory wiped clean for five seconds. Afterwards she couldn't stop the tears, she could hardly watch the boys perform. She broke up with Jin right after, said how he deserved someone better than a failure like that. She didn't let him speak, she didn't let anyone speak before she ran off crying. Fei contacted her with the fact that the girls had won, and the fact that they still wanted to sign her.

She was so ashamed of how she acted she couldn't even face Jin at graduation. In fact she skipped it. Not too long after her mother told her that her cancer was in remission, and that she wanted her to go out and see the world. Shortly after that she did just that. Yuri went on the world tour her manager booked her on. It was her, a couple other singers, a drummer or two, a bassist, and a couple guitar players.

That's where she had been for over a year. The places she seen were incredible. Inspiring. Yet she still couldn't find it in her to smile. Maybe for the cameras and on stage, but the once always smiling Yuri, the bright personality everyone loved, dimmed. She had the look and the talent, that's all she needed. Who needed to smile? Who needed the laughs or happiness? That went out the window the day she fucked up on stage. The once happy songs turned into sad, sullen, make you cry your eyes out songs. The bright colored outfits turned into darker, more mature outfits.

At one point she went back to Korea for a month or two. She got an apartment with Choi before going back on tour. Choi was always gone. Hyuun was in America. Sure they texted all of the time, but that quickly diminished into once in a while. The time zone differences. The busy schedules. It ruined the 18 year old girl emotionally and socially.

Ryn was flown out whenever Yuri had a big performance and wanted someone besides the usual stylist team to do her long dark chocolate locks. She had just gotten done with one, which was a total success to no one's surprise. Where were they? This week they were in Berlin, Germany. At least, she thought. She had been everywhere at this point.

Dark baby doll eyes looked down at the small tree she had tattooed on her wrist. It was a symbol all of the 'Park' children got on their 18th birthday. Yuri decided to get hers a few days prior, right after she heard of her mom passing away. Cancer. Cancer that she lied to Yuri about, saying how it was in remission. She just wanted you to enjoy your life. She was so tired. She's finally at rest. Those were her fathers words. He cremated her and spread her ashes over the ocean like she wanted. Yuri didn't even get to say goodbye...

The tattoo was all healed at this point, but it was still weird to look at. Park. The only thing she felt lately was the loneliness and emptiness all the Parks eventually felt. Most of the time Park mothers didn't even raise their children. The girls were given to a woman to raise them to serve the mob, and the boys were part of the mob. Yuri was the only one that was raised by her parents.

"I'm going to my hotel room now." Yuri stood from her vanity and allowed her black dress to sway as she moved to the door, the small gold chain around her neck visible as it always was. The necklace, pen, and notebook were almost always with the now anti social Yuri. It was the only thing that kept her here. All the happy memories...they'd be something she'd hold on tight to for the rest of her miserable successful life.

Choi's life after graduation went well. She got signed to the same label as all of her girls, and had Minho. He was probably the only thing that kept her grounded through everything. Hyuun leaving, the twin she had spent every single day of her life with, the change in Yuri, Yuri leaving to tour the world, and everyone growing apart. Well, at least he was the thing that kept her grounded. A couple months into graduation and Minho suddenly wanted to 'talk' to her. Did she do something wrong? Maybe he was proposing!

If only he proposed. If only she hadn't been so foolish, so stupid to fall in love for someone. Love was for the weak, and unfortunately Minho quickly became Choi's weakness. At first she was angry. Then sad. Then angry again, then sad some more. After all of the alone time she had in the apartment now she deducted his reason was that she wasn't good enough for him. She wasn't pretty enough. She wasn't thin enough.

So she changed everything. Her hair was now pixie cut. Her gorgeous outfits became much darker, same with her makeup. And her eating habits, if you could even call them that, were the most unhealthy ones to pick. She only ate every couple days, and if she did it was something small. Grapes, cubed fruit and some water. She still wasn't pretty enough for Minho, and she finally convinced she would never be pretty enough for him. She wasn't even talented. Her brother had the real talent.

She went off on Hyuun not too long after she stopped eating. All the jealousy, rage and sadness took over. She said she hated him, she hated him for being better at everything, for being so handsome, for being so smart. Choi got none of that and he got it all, and he didn't even appreciate it. She cut him from her life completely. The only ones she talked to was Yuri, barely, and her band mates. Oh, people at parties, the guys she slept with, and G. Oh, yeah. She started dating G. He told her how pretty she was, cheated on her, and told her he loved her. Her poor low self esteem kept her in the relationship, but she slept with a bunch of cute guys. G could do it, why couldn't she?

Shit, what time was it? Yubin looked to the clock. Noon. And where was she? She quickly sat up and looked to see some guy sleeping next to her. "Shit." Not again. The hundred pound Choi quickly got changed back into her mini skirt and halter top, tossing on her jacket to face the fall weather. She stepped into her heels and grabbed her phone before leaving the apartment. No missed calls, no missed texts. What a shock. With a small sigh she dialed for her driver and waited outside. "Yeah. Come get me." Click. It was obvious her life was going very well...haha.

She looked into her purse and smiled down at the makeup bag Minho had given to her. It was the only thing that made her smile lately. The earrings in her jewelry box made her want to cry, same with the bracelet. Why couldn't she go back to that day? The look on Minho's face when he seen that stupid, stupid coupon book... Small tears slid down her face as the car pulled up, her hand quickly wiping them away as she slid in the back of the sleek black vehicle. "Home. Take me home."

Oh, where to start on Hoya. He gave it his all at the performance. After Yuri's fuck up he was really convinced they'd win! Unfortunately they didn't. What did he expect to do even if they did win? Hoya belonged to the mob now. And despite the overwhelming feelings he still had for Rosee he chose to ignore them. Besides, the Jung guy was still around. A normal healthy relationship was what she deserved, not his complicated ass.

As soon as Hoya graduated his dad offered him to apprentice after him. Hoya turned him away, pretty much insulted that he now wanted to be a part of his life. Hoya delved deeply into the mobster life, making his way quickly up the ladder. He was the intimidation man, that was his job. He had the scary look, he had the demanding voice, the presence, the height, and the social skills to 'convince' almost anyone into doing anything he wanted them to. The fact that Hoya was always carrying some kind of gun also helped his position.

Hoya found himself in a lawyers office this morning, his dark eyes reading over a will over and over again. His dad had cancer, he had found out shortly before offering to train Hoya. Apparently he wanted to leave him everything and teach him how to run things. "So. You're telling me everything is mine. Apple. The Charities. The mansion. The money." When the lawyer nodded Hoya loosened his tie, letting out a long sigh. This wasn't happening. Did he and his dad get along? Never. Did he want him dead? Of course not.

"That's a lot of money. That's a number I've never seen before." "Your father also had many offshore accounts. Money tucked away just in case anything ever happened. It's all listed here..." The blonde lawyer handed Hoya about six more papers, each with a crazy amount of numbers written on them. "I've handled your fathers accounts for many years now. If you want I can manage them for you." Hoya ran a hand through his hair and leaned back in disbelief. "Uh, sure. Yeah. Sounds good." He stood to his full 6'4" and looked out the window. "I'll be in touch. I need to breath." There was only one person he wanted to talk to right now, but that girl had gone and got herself engaged. She was off limits to Hoya now. Still, he stared down at his phone as he walked out of the lawyers office.

It was official, he was all alone in the world.
