This is Dakota Fallon

She is in desperate need of an angel guardian. Why?Because for some reason vampires have been taking humans in the middle of the night and draining them, but not just any humans; humans who have a special blood type and Dakota just happens to be one. What she doesn't know is that she's part angel, making er not only a target for vampires, but also a contender to Ascend to be an angel of great power like her guardian. The bad part is she doesn't even know about vampires, angels or anything outside of the human world which makes it rather hard to guard her, also she tends to fall into the hands of danger a lot even though she's only 19!

((Put your charie's picture and name in the charie slot thing then I'll start~ this needs some plot help so if you have anything you'd like to add go for it.))

Dakota was walking alone in the dark of night, a cool breeze blowing though the air, seeming to caress her face then leave. She had music playing in her ears and her head down as she walked. She was wearing a very dark outfit so it was quite hard to make her out. Dakota walked along the side walked along the sidewalk of the 'bad' part of town, only stopping under a streetlight to pull out her IPod with fell on the ground, causing her to curse under her breath and bend down to pick it up. What she didn't see was that a rather attractive vampire was smelling her lovely scent and following it, ready to attack and drain her within an instant, though he would prefer to follow her home and get her there.

Carver watches the girl walking. "Idiot." He mutters to himself. He's always hated the idea of humans, of Angels being their guardians.. It practically enslaved them to do what? Stop the cycle of life?! Vampires need blood to live... Sure they've seemed to make it a bit of a game over the past few years, but still. What's so good about a human in the first place? He really should just allow her to get drained. That'd make his life easier, right?

Wrong. This human dies, and so does Carver. He's aware of this incredibly unfair arrangement, so no matter how much he hates it... He's following her. He won't jump out now, as there's still a chance the vampire will leave her be. Granted, it's not a big chance, but the chance is still there. He silently follows behind the girl and bloodsucker, sticking to the rooftops of buildings and light posts.

Dakota picked up her IPod and fixed her music then put it back in her jacket pocket and started walking again. After a few more blocks she turned down a pitch black ally away, once inside the vampire who was stalking her took this moment to attack, as he could no longer resist her scent. He walked calmly up to her and caresses her face. "You.. are so perfect." She said with a sly smile then grabbed her wrists and slammed her into the nearest brink wall. Dakota normally would was counter him, but he'd seriously just hit a serious turn on with her. Her eyes were soon consumed with lust and desire struck her stomach as her headphones had fallen out. The vampire feels her lust and desire and gets a smirk. "Like this do we?" He asked as he leaned into her neck, his fangs extending.

Carver groans in frustration before jumping down from a nearby roof and all but appearing beside the vampire. "Get the hell off her." He says in a bored tone. He could sense and smell the girl's lust and her desire, making him sneer in disgust. "Kid. Seriously? Dude corners you in an alley, slams you against a wall, and you're turned on?!" He slams his palm against his forehead, "Humans, I swear!" He then reaches out to grab the vampire's collar and pull him off the girl. No matter how disgusting humans are, he wouldn't let this one die-no matter how badly he wished he could.

Dakota narrows her eyes at him. "Well excuse me for the unexpected surprise!" She yelled at the mysterious boy who'd dropped out of no where. The vampire simply laughed as he pulled himself from of the angel and sneered at him. "Why do you just leave me be angel? There's no point in protecting her..she smells soo good." He said, winking at Dakota and she making a disgusted face at him.

Carver sighs and shakes his head, "Sadly, no can do." He brings his hand back before punching the vampire square in the jaw, "Believe me. If I could, I would. Fuckin humans." He glares at the girl before going back to the vampire. He slams him against the wall and knees him in the gut before throwing him to the ground and stomping his head in before turning to the girl, "So you always walk down dark alleys alone!?"

Dakota looks at him with wide eyes. "What...the hell?!" She says then blinks several times, not believing that he'd really just killing a person, after several seconds of blinking she looked to the ground and started to walk away, not wanting to stay here with this psycho long. "Oh. And by the way. I could have done that if it weren't for the fact I love pain." She mumbled lowly.

Carver easily follows after the girl, "I don't care if your little body likes pain, kid. You need to be more careful else the next person dead won't be the offender. It'll be you."

Dakota shrugs. "So be it then..." She said bluntly as she left out the rest of what her mind had created, which was no one would miss me anyways...I'm a nobody.

Carver rolls his eyes, "You stupid humans.." He mutters before quirking an eyebrow down at the girl, "So where do you live?"

Dakota looks back at him with a quirked eyebrow. "Why does it matter?" She asked him. He was really creepy..really..really creepy..why did he want to know where she lived? Its was so strange.

Carver sighs in exasperation before reaching out and flicking the girl's forehead, "Because, idiot. I'm coming with you. Do you not listen to anything? I'm your guardian, so I've got to mark you." He shudders in disgust at the very idea, "No matter how much you disgust me."

Dakota rolls her eyes at him. "Fuck off will ya? I have enough problems as is.." She muttered and started walking though the ally once more, not wanting him to follow her or talk to her.

"Little human... Geez!" Carver groans out in exasperation. "I'm trying to take one of your fucking problems away!" He continues to easily keep pace with the girl, not bothering with trying to explain himself anymore.

Dakota groans in frustration. "And what problem can you solve huh?! None! You don't know me and you obviously don't give any shits about me so just leave me alone!" She yells at him as she turns the corner and sighs as she sees the fire escape stairs to her apartment. They honestly were not that safe at all, as anyone could tell that by looking at them.

Carver sighs, "I can keep those damn blood suckers from killing you. Ya know, what a guardian's supposed to do." He rolls his eyes, "That where you live?" He asks, deciding to change the subject as he gestures toward the older apartments before him.

Dakota nods. "Yup, because us poor people can't afford better." She grumbled then started up the stairs, each time she went up one it squealed and creaked under her weight.

Carver mutters profanities under his breath as he follows the girl up the stairs, hating that he had to be stuck with one like her.

As Dakota reached the top she squatted down at her window and lifted it up then slipped in under it then turned the light on and looked around at her bedroom with a sigh. The walls were black and seemingly covered in drawings, all done by her, and they were all very good, though Dakota never seemed to like her art work. She sighed a bit more then took off her shoes and walked over to the closet and put them up, then debated on taking her jacket off, which would leaver her in skinny jeans and a tank top.

Carver follows the girl into the apartment, closing the window after himself. He pulls off his black combat boots and throws them wherever, then takes his black leather jacket and throws it by the shoes. "So what's your name, kid?" He asks, though his tone is truly uninterested.

Dakota pushes a growl down in her throat as she decided to take her jacket off. "Dakota Fallon. What about you?" She grumbles as she hags up her jacket, slightly glad he was over there and not near her as she had very..unpretty bandages on her wrists from where she;d cute herself a bit too dep then a friend of her's made her put rubbing alcohol on it, which actually did not feel good at all, then bandage it.

"I'm Carver." He reaches his arms up above his head and stretches, tilting his head from side to side to pop that before walking over and flopping down on the couch, "Now c'mere so I can mark you, kid."

Dakota sighs. "Where are you going to mark me exactly?" She asked as she put her hands behind her back and walked a bit closer, trying her best to hide her wrists. Out of everything about her, this was one thing she wasn't okay with people knowing or seeing, this was an 'unhealthy' and addiction for her, or so said her friend.

"your hand?" Carver says in a 'duh' voice. He holds out his hand, "C'mon, now."
