"Songs that seem like poetry.... Those are usually the best, in my opinion, my own songs tend to be... eclectic at best, absolutely weird at worst." Robert never sang his own music for others... he preferred to sing songs from bands like Maroon 5, and keep his music to himself

Akira giggled a bit. 'I never really sing any of my songs for others, but I do sing some popular songs sometimes." she said, her smile spreading across her face. She had never meet someone that was so much like herself.

Robert was dumfounded, not ever had he met anyone so in tune to himself, so aware and willing to accept the truth. "Well, what kind of music do you sing for others, then? and when can I hear you sing?" Robert already knew that if she sang for him, then she would ask him to sing for her, what song would he sing? would he sing one of his usual songs, or would he be a little more spontaneous, and try one of the newer songs he knew?

Akira smiled. 'I will sing for you when you sing for me." She said. "As for what I sing, depends on what I feel like. I have a range of songs that I have practiced many times before.' She said, thinking that they where so alike, it was almost as if it where fate. She had never been interested in anyone until now. He would be a good friend.

"You play a dangerous game, my friend, but okay.. I'll sing something for you at lunch... do you like the band "neon trees"? I know a great song from them..." He planned on singing "Animals" by said band, it would say two things to Akira, that he wanted to be more than friends, but also that he had seen a lot of pain from those he fell for.

Akira nodded. 'Yeah. They have some great songs." She commented, sitting back. She tapped her pencil on her cheek, trying to think of a song to sing for him. She wasn't that good at super low songs so something in the higher range would suit her. But something that was not to weird or harsh, because she didn't want to drive him off.

"I would like to point out," Robert said, cautiously, "from what I can hear in your speaking voice, I can't expect much less than beautiful singing... how long have you been singing, may I ask?" Robert had been singing for seven years, since the fifth grade, and from what he could tell, he did, in fact, have a wonderful voice.

Akira smiled. "Since around 5th grade. I really started to fall in love with singing because of my music teacher. She really pushed me to do something more than just what we did in class." She said. "But I never joined a club. I just kind of sang on my own time. And now I am here." she said, her cheeks a bit pink from the compliment.

"5th grade, huh? me too.... I started singing at a choir we had at my elementary school... the instructor said I was a natural... I just practiced more and more after that, and eventually, I started singing alone, making my own music, mostly songs that I thought others would like, anyway, I honestly can't wait till I hear your voice..." Just as he said that, the bell rang for the end of third period, "well... that was sadly cut short, I doubt we have the next class together, so I guess I'll see you later"

Akira stood up and grabbed her bag as the bell rang. 'Yeah, I guess we have to depart." She said, a bit sadly. She smiled and packed up her stuff. It was kind of interesting that they had more than a few things in common, like music and writing and things. She blushed a bit at the thought and looked at him. "We can at the least talk on the way."

Akira blushed a bit at the awkward conversation. "Uhmm, I don't know. What is your favorite type of ice cream?" She offered up.

"I love any ice cream that has either peanut butter, or a chocolate flavoring in it.. but it can't be just chocolate flavor..." He was surprised at her choice, but chose not to show it, "what about you?"

"yum, I love cookie dough.. I hadn't even thought of that though.. weird..." he tapped his chin for a moment, "do you watch a lot of movies?" he asked tentatively.

Akira nodded. "Yeah, I guess. I normally watch the docile ones though, just because I don't know why, but horror movies scare me."

Robert looked at her, amused, "How? most horror films today are just a bunch of blood and gore... not much to really scare anyone, just make them queasy... I love movies that have zombies in them, myself"

"Did you watch one of the very few good ones, or one of the horrible ones with bad special effects? Most people that don't like zombie movies only don't like them because of the bad effects."

Akira smiled and shook her head. 'Not at all. I just like to focus more on the words and the story." She said.

"Oh..." Robert said, thinking, "I see... I agree, most of the films people don't like, I think are actually very good.. they may not have very good effects, but the stories work, or they would never have been produced"

Akira smiled, blushing a bit. "I guess that is true." She said. She felt the air grow heavy and awkward as she smiled and tried to keep up her positive attitude.

"I...", Robert hesitated for a moment before he said, "I like how you blush, I don't know what it is, but I like it...." Robert was never very good at talking to people, despite trying to help them often, he was even worse at talking to the few girls he had fallen for over the years, he usually just said something awkward that made the girl turn and run, in a psychological sense.
