Fantasy Generic Fantasy RP (CLOSED)

Callum raised an eyebrow at the request. "What's wrong? Why did he have to leave it at the door? I don't want to burden you with having to fetch it." Callum said, seeing the sudden change in tone.

Emmalia thought up and excuse and explained it while she walked to get the tray. "I didn't want him getting close enough to see my eyes." She returned to him and sat down with the tray in her lap, knowing she'd have to help him eat since he couldn't move much.

It made enough sense to Callum that he didn't feel fit to question it. Cal was starving, and was glad that Emmalia had stayed to help feed him. "Thank you." He spoke. "I'm not sure where I'd be without you."

Emmalia just shrugged, and happily assisted him in eating his meal. when he was done, she set aside the tray and chirped, "Do you need anything else?"

"I think that's all, thank you." Callum said, stretching a bit. He couldn't hide his smile at Emmalia's adorable nature, especially when she was somewhat clueless to just how cute she was being.

Emmalia grinned and cuddled close to him, nuzzling against his cheek and kissing him lightly as she went. "I love you," she said in that sing-song voice.

Callum was once more enthralled by Emmalia's voice, which left him wanting more it. "I love you too." Cal said, almost in a trance from his affection for her.

Emmalia continued quietly whispering sweet nothings while she kissed at his cheek, then his neck. She could hear his blood flowing through his arteries in his neck, and could smell the blood from the recently stitched wound, and got a bit distractermd, because his blood smelled so good. If it weren't for the fact that she was trying very hard not to hurt him in any way shape or form, she'd have bitten him right there. As it was, she hesitated a bit and stopped talking, then nuzzled against his collarbone as if she hadn't paused.

Callum had been enjoying the kisses Emmalia was giving him, and her words were like a soft song only the best musicians could replicate. When Emmalia paused, he raised an eyebrow. "Are you alright dear?"

Emmalia quickly nodded. "Just fine, darling." To distract from the question, she sat back and quickly said, "Would you like some ale or whiskey you take the edge off the pain...?"

The offer was too tempting for Callum to pass on. "Ale, please. Thank you." He spoke, then took a moment to reinstate his question to Emmalia. "You seem somewhat off."

Emmalia didn't answer, she just leaned in and kissed his forehead lightly, then ran off to get him his ale, returning only seconds later. Again she sat cross-legged on the bed next to him, holding his ale for him.

Callum frowned a bit, seeing as she had ignored his question again. He graciously took the ale and drank a bit before setting it on the bedside table. "Emmalia, dear, you're not lying to me, are you?"

Emmalia didn't say anything. If she didn't speak, she couldn't lie. She just leaned in and kissed his cheek again, hoping to give him enough affection that he'll stop questioning it.

Callum enjoyed the kiss as he always had, but his mind wasn't getting away from Emmalia's odd behavior. "Em, dearest, you can tell me anything. You know that, don't you?" He paused and slowly put a hand onto her shoulder, trying not to disturb his wound. "Is anything wrong?"

Emmalia smiled softly and put her hand over his. "Nothing is wrong, darling." It wasn't a lie, because she really did view herself as fine, even if she wasn't.

Callum still wasn't satisfied. She wasn't acting normal. He began to think of recent events and then, after a moment of hesitation, asked, "Emmalia, are you hungry? Have you gone hunting?"

Em perked up at the mere mention of food. "Hungry? Yeah, I suppose so, but I haven't been hunting 'cause you're hurt, so I don't want to leave you where some other bastard might try to hurt you."

"Emmalia, if you're hungry then go hunt. You shouldn't starve yourself for me." Cal's hand gently traced her arm. "I can handle myself. I'm already dead." He flashed a pained smile.

Emmalia seemed saddened by that last statement, and the thought of leaving him. She had subconsciously noticed that - if felt like there was a line between her and him and the further she got from him, the more that line pulled at her heart and the more uncomfortable it made her, but when she was close, she was comfortable. "I don't want to leave you," she dais rather cutely and obliviously.

Callum smiled a bit at her comment, she seemed too adorable to be his. His thought became a bit more serious when he realized just how much she wasn't acting like his Em. Emmalia had been experiencing a lot of different emotions and personalities recently, and thinking back, wondered if he could do anything that he did before to convert her back. "Emmalia?" He began. "Come back to me."

Emmalia seemed confused for a moment, then brought her hand to her head like she was in pain. When he brought her hand away, she blinked a few times like she had just woken up, and her eyes were again green. She severed slightly, as her body temperature had dropped again. After a moment, she looked him over, then softly said, "Cal, you're hurt, I smell the blood, are you okay?" He didn't seem to be in pain....

Callum frowned a bit, seeing that his words had made an actual change in her mood. Emmalia didn't seem to remember what had happened recently - perhaps it was something to do with her eyes? "Do you not remember what had happened last night?" He asked.

Emmalia closed her eyes to think."I remember.... I woke up smelling blood, and I looked up... there was something by the ned, no it was someone! I screamed, and -and I don't know...." She opened her eyes and looked at him. "I don't remember. That was last night? And it's daytime now....?" How could she just not remember that much?

"A man we released from prison hid in the castle and stabbed me while we slept. Things got messy after that... But I lived. Do you truly not remember that? You seemed so shocked."
