Fantasy Generic Fantasy RP (CLOSED)

"Alrighty," Em said happily as she continued sipping her wine. It was quiet for a little while, then she asked, "Should we just talk?"

"Just talking to you would be nice." Callum smiled softly and kissed her quickly. "What do you want to talk about?"

"I dunno," she said with a shrug. "We've talked about our wedding as much as possible. You've met my parents. Hm..." Suddenly she asked, "Cal, when the castle is all fixed, can we have a few cats? They'll keep the mice away!"

"I don't see why not. As long as they don't stay in the bedroom I'll be fine with it." Callum smiled. "What about dogs?" He asked, just to see what she'd say.

"As long as they don't eat the cats, they're welcome. We can even have bloodhounds for our gamekeepers. That would be nice. Though maybe counter productive for me, they'd smell that I'm different. Speaking of, I think I'm gonna take a bath, want to join me?" Her train of thought was connected... somehow. Loosely.

Callum raised an eyebrow, "Sure, I don't see why not." He smiled and stood up, offering Emmalia a hand. "You know what that usually entails, right?"

"Water, soap, and nudity, yes. Doesn't have to entail anything else. Also, I want to be able to see how bad the bruising is on your ribs while we're at it. I know they're broken but I still want to check." She got up and ran the water, then started undressing.

Callum soon joined her after a while of preparing to stand up again. He slowly trailed to the bathroom, where he also got undressed. "Is the water warm?' He asked, the thought of a hot bath entering his mind.

"Yeah, it's pretty warm, not too hot." She had already undressed, and now focused on examining the bruising on his chest and back. It made her feel a bit guilty, since it was her enemy that had done such a thing. After all, she had escaped unscathed, except for the side effect of her current state. "Sorry about the injuries. We can see if another healer can help fix it faster."

Callum nodded his head. "I hope so, I feel like I can't do anything with it." He chuckled. "I just hope that we can get it fixed before too long. I don't feel like being a cripple for more than a few days, I'm a Lord and a sellsword." He smiled.

"Less of a sellsword, more of a knight errant. More noble that way." She flashed him a grin, then carefully got into the bath. "I hope the warm water gives you some relief, and it's a chance to clean those cuts on your face. The healer said they wouldn't scar. You already have one scar on your face, and while it looks good, you don't need more."

Callum agreed completely. "I need to keep my beautiful jawline mostly in tact to swoon the ladies." He said, knowing perfectly well he was speaking to his fiance. In fact, he said it entirely to mess with her. Callum slowly got into the tub as well with a drawn out groan.

"Swoon any ladies and I'll break your jaw," Emmalia said nonchalantly as she got into the bath as well. "How's the water? Feel okay on your ribs?"

"Of course." Callum said quietly as he took in the sensation of the warm water, filling the small dent in his chest where it was kicked in. "Wonderful. Emmalia, you realize I can't control if ladies swoon over me right?" He said with a smile.

"Of course you can. I mean sometimes, no, but most of the time, yes. Don't flirt, don't wink at girls, don't look them over the way single guys do, you get the idea." Emmalia was already working on cleaning her hair.

"Well yes, but if women look at me and I don't look back, they could still swoon." He said and smiled as he watched Emmalia washing her hair. Callum did the same.

"Shut up, you know what I meant. Do something stupid and I'll break your jaw, bottom line." Not long after, they had dried and dressed and were back in bed. While Cullum laid, Emmalia sat cross legged, somewhat bored and unsure of what to do with herself.

Callum looked over at Emmalia and could tell she was bored. "Why don't we go to bed now and wake up early tomorrow?" He suggested. "Give me more time to take breaks on the journey."

"I dunno, it's really early and I'm not tired. I slept last night, I don't need to sleep again. Maybe I should go hunt though." Callum had to know that that was just bloodlust talking. She had taken a whole deer down the night before, she didn't need more blood.

Callum looked over at her for a moment. "I don't think that's a good idea... Maybe we should just try and keep it low on the animal draining for now?" He suggested, unsure if that would even help her condition.

Callum instantly felt bad about saying what he said - sure, it wasn't anything terrible, but the look Emmalia gave him destroyed his heart. "Well... I was thinking, maybe you could just... Not eat a whole lot, and maybe it'll help."

"Help what?" Em tilted her head to the side like a Co fused puppy. She wasn't mad, she just wanted to know what he meant exactly.

"You're... Yknow, condition. I'm just saying, maybe you shouldn't eat every last little thing you can." He suggested.

"Oh, I'm not eating every last little thing, just the first ones I come across." She grinned and nodded at her own statement. In reality, she wasn't even hungry, blood just sounded good at the moment.
