Fantasy Generic Fantasy RP (CLOSED)

"He's just fine, he didn't mention Camilla. He didn't even know why the gaurds were warning everyone about a monster, or that you were captive."

Callum nodded. "And you're okay right?" He asked quietly, mostly talking about dealing with everything she had been through recently.

"I'm glad to hear it." He said and kissed her cheek. "I can try and contact Cameron to send us our things, I'm assuming you left most of your things at the castle.

Emmalia nodded, clearly sad. "They took it from me, along with my armor and shortsword. I don't care about the shortsword or armor, maybe we can commission Ferron for some, but that gauntlet... There's nothing like it."

"We can send someone to retrieve it." He said quietly. "Don't worry love, you won't have to go back to that place. I'll call on someone when I can."

Callum held her close. "Of course. I love you." He told her, knowing it was difficult to think about that part of her past.

Em sighed, and slowly relaxed against him more than she had in a long time, and felt tears starting to run down her cheeks.

Callum understood what Emmalia was feeling, and decided to pick her up and carry her to the bed. He set her down slowly without releasing her keeping constant contact. "It's okay love."

Emmalia didn't even feel embarrassed to cry, because he had told her she could. She hid herself in his arms and cried until she was too tired to cry anymore, and just sniffles and held onto him.

Callum kept holding onto Emmalia, showing his full support of her. When she had mostly finished crying, he said, "Do you want to talk about anything love?"

Em thought about it for a moment, then said, "I'm sorry my secret finally came crashing down on our heads like this," referring to them getting hunted in their owm castle.

"It's not your fault." Callum told her. "I knew about your vampirism and I married you, knowing that. It's not your problem - it's ours, love. And we will handle it together."

Em moved to look him in the eye, then paused to actually consider the offer. Their lives would be easier if they were mortals. But, if word got out of her vampirism, their being human wouldn't help, they would be killed anyway just for the rumors. "No, but thank you for offering such a thing."

Callum nodded. "If you ever decide against it, the invitation is always there. You aren't going to suffer because of me."
